We got the prison system crumbling. We have Asante closing.

We have, or not Asante closing, but Asante's physical therapy closing. What does that do? We had this situation where, you know, there's conversations about judge shopping going on in the Danny Schofield case here, you know? And, boy, you know, what do you think about this? And I was hoping that Judge David Hoppe would take that case. I like Judge Hoppe, been a big fan of him. And I would just like to, you know, to see a judge with his experience and tough but fair, I guess, a judicial, how would you describe it, personality? I'm sure there's a better word than that, but I'd like to see him staying on that rather than turning it over to Lorenzo Mejia and nothing against Mejia.

Like Mejia too. Good guy. But he's a retired senior judge. I just think that this is such a huge, huge case. But gosh, we can get into all sorts of conversation this hour. Plus, we have giveaways and all sorts of things. Let me go to Steve. Steve, you're on here too on the Bill Meyers show.

Welcome to Friday. Good morning, Mr. Meyer. Well, good morning, sir. Mr. Maya, it looks like you're intimating Nils Gravilius. Yeah, did you ever finish his book? I am almost there right now. In fact, I went to the very end, and I read the last chapter, which tells me a lot about what's going on. That's very interesting to me also.

Yeah, and that's the reason. Now, I was going to have him this morning. I just talked with him a little bit ago, and I never want to squeeze Gravilius for time because he's such an interesting guy. So we're going to reschedule him for Monday morning. We'll get him on Monday morning. Very good. The reason I'm calling is in the eagle that I got a day or so ago and haven't looked at until this morning. During commercials, I was glancing through it.

On page six, there's an article about Spencer Pratt. Oh, yeah, let me pull this up because I have my Oregon Eagle in front of me. I haven't read that part yet. Let me see. So number eight, go ahead and continue. I'll just bring it up while you're talking about. Yeah, the whole thing, there's a video. It links to it. And Spencer Pratt, you know, he's kind of a real techie guy. And he put together a video saying that, while they can't prove that there's any hinkiness going on in the election, there's so much obvious things wrong. And he says he's going to continue to go after California. He's declared war on the election system of California. Well, good. I hope he's continuing to go down that path. I think it would be great.

Yeah, you know, he proved, he proved basically that they were buying votes from the homeless community. He had video evidence that they were doing that. But it's hard to make a case that you could prove in a court of law. Exactly. So there's so much smoke. We know what happened. Can you prove it? Well, it's kind of like the Danny Schofield case, too. Yes, it really is. You know, he looked at how the vote counts changed. You know, they say there's no proof that there was anything, but that's the only vote that changed the way that it did against him.

All right. Anything else you wanted to add there here this Friday morning? No, no, it's just a very interesting thing. I thought you could add to the mix this morning. All right, we'll do. And you know, Bill, Judge Hoppe actually is my probate lawyer for my dad's estate. Yeah. And we've been in this probate for over two years, almost two and a half years. And when it first started out, My brother was, one of my brothers got himself in charge. He lived with my dad. So he was like one of these adult sponges. And anyways, it, it, and he since passed, my brother.

But originally, I had to do something. So, you know me, I'm not techie. So I wrote a handwritten letter to Judge Hoppe, six pages, and I took it into the courthouse, to the clerk's office and they told me just like almost immediately well he doesn't read handwritten stuff and I told the lady I said I understand that

but I am not techie and this is old school this is how we used to do it and this is very important that I get this information to him and she ended up giving it to his legal secretary or his judgey secretary whoever she is

and he read my letter and that's what prompted the whole chain of events to get my one brother out of power, of my dad's estate. And when we went to court, after, you know, my brother and whoever left, I told Judge Hoppe, thank you so much for reading my letter. And he was so cute. He said, you can't talk to me when they're not in here. I'm sorry. And then I was like, well, thank you so much, Judge Hoppy. I appreciate your time.

And he's all, you can't talk to me when they're not in here. I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry, you know. And you know me, Bill. Yeah, you'll talk with anyone. I know. I get it. He has the best poker face. He doesn't, he takes no personal stock in anything that comes before him.

He's totally closed the line of his job. But that was my point about why I was disappointed that he was trying to turn this case over. I would like to have seen him be the judge here. I think it would have been a clean, well-run trial and it would do everything possible to make sure that things are tight enough that there are no appeals. But I guess there are just other things going on behind the scene, I guess. Yeah, I really wish he could have stayed on this case too. I think he would have been very fair. I think he would have followed the law.

I think, you know, whoever was going to get their just do, would have got it. So that's kind of unfortunate that. But, you know, you look at – I called a few weeks ago, and I told you, you know, I was in the courtroom, and they just keep, you know, extending and, you know, just pushing stuff out, pushing stuff out, pushing stuff out, just like with this nurse. And in my opinion, if they had enough evidence to, put her on leave and, you know, basically fire her. That's enough evidence to go forward, if you ask me.

Well, unfortunately, in a... And Asante, you would think their reputation for their future patients, they would be more than willing to give up the goods and get this lady convicted of the crimes that she committed. Well, I think that maybe Asante is still concerned about potential liability if they're too forthcoming with disclosure. Perhaps it has to do with other potential cases, and they're looking at that. I don't have an answer.

Douglas County Commissioners passed a resolution this week. They unanimously approved a resolution Wednesday, backing the Trump administration's immigration agenda, and declaring that Douglas County will not be a sanctuary jurisdiction. Have you heard about this one? Now, this is an Oregon Live, an official with the Oregon Department of Justice said, no county resolution supersedes state law, and the agency will monitor Douglas County for compliance. Because if there's anything that the state of Oregon doesn't like, it is a county which is not compliant agent of the state after all. Would you like to see Jackson and Josephine County

And the latest news out of Douglas County is that they passed a resolution that says, nope, we are not going to be a sanctuary jurisdiction. And the Oregon Department of Justice is naturally saying that, we shall see about this. But, yeah, I guess what is happening is that they would be signing on to the Trump administration and say, we are going to do this work. You know, if somebody asks, if the Trump administration asks us if someone, if an illegal alien is within our court or within our jail system or whatever is, I guess we'll say it's there. And so they are rebelling. Douglas County is rebelling against sanctuary law here in the state of Oregon. My question for you could also be, would you like to see Jackson or Josephine County?

maybe Curry, Plymouth, would you like to see more of this? Would you like to see them do what Douglas County has done? Hmm. Could be interesting. Lucretia is here. You're always interesting, Lucretia. What's on your mind, huh? Hey, Bill.

Thank you. I think this is very important for everybody to realize just how, I'm sorry, but corrupt, how wonderful our different hospitals can be, but at the same time, how they're just really making us sick like the schools are making us dumb. And this is a fellow, Ken McCarthy, who a lot of what he found out about,

the Hep B vaccines and the different drugs, even the K2, were very toxic, and they're dumbing us down and poisoning us. And what he says, because he was published and a lot of it was given to, Robert Kennedy to put in his book about Fassi. Anyway, to get an idea how bad the Hep B vaccine is made up, there was a Nobel Prize if you put things like soy oil or peanuts in vaccines,

it can, in the vaccine that you inject into the blood, it will create anaphylactic shock later on in that child. But did what the Hep B vaccine is made with? Now, it's made with peanut oil or squaly? Are you talking about squaline or soy? What are you talking about? Well, with a Hepha vaccine, even if you put soy oil, if you put anything that's a food, peanut oil, that child will later, if they have peanuts or they have some soy.

It'll sensitize them. Okay, I see. I guess the point is this may be true. So what's the point, though? Even if this is true, what is the point? Well, a doctor was given a noble prize for that discovery, and they're still doing it. But with the Hepby vaccine. What discovery of the Heppe vaccine or discovery of the garbage going into a Heppe vaccine?

Well, that's just other knowledge I know, but I know with the Heppe vaccine, it's made with genetically modified burgess, genetically modified. Then you have genetically modified corn with all the glyphosate with it. You have genetically modified soy, drenched ginsgid, and then the formula is doused with hexane, so it would break open your cell walls when you injected into the child. This is wonderful. So essentially everything in the vaccine world fake and gay, right? It's pretty bad. Okay.

Now, I guess the thing, what would you say to do about this then at this point? What would your solution be? I would just choose not to take the Hep B vaccine. That's just me. We've given to your one-day old child within an hour of birth. Oh, really? Okay. So, yes, you do not want to go through this.

And as far as being dumbed down, when you're in the United States of America in which Alexandria Ocaggio Cortez is the top candidate polling right now in the Democratic Party. Well, he worked in the hospital. 10 or 15 years ago, and he was an intake clerk. And he kept telling the hospital, look, these people are coming in here with no IDs. All they're doing is giving me their names, and you're taking them in as patients and serving them. The same guy comes back in two weeks with a different name. A month later, he comes back with a third name, and they keep rotating through the hospital, getting free service, and it's the same flipping people, and they,

have no ID. Has that changed now? Do you know, Mark? No. He started, he got, he's conservative, and it fits him off, so he started keeping record. And when he took it to the leadership to show him what was happening, they told him to mind his own damn business. Well, part of that may be federal law requires that emergency treatment be provided, no matter who you are or where you come from or anything else, you know, in... It wasn't emergencies, Bill, that kept coming in week after week after week for any little thing.

The armed robbers stole the small safe, less than 400 bucks. Even then, it was pretty good money then. and a passenger's diamond ring and watch too.

And when the empty box was recovered, a taunting poem signed Black Bart was found inside. Here's the poem, by the way. Here I lay me down to sleep to wait the coming morrow. Perhaps success, perhaps defeat, and everlasting sorrow. Yet come what will, I'll try at once. My conditions can't be worse. And if there's money in that box, tis money in my purse.

So here he has Black Bart the poet, all right? Now, yeah, this wasn't the first time Black Bart had robbed his stage coach. He left a poem for the police. However, it was the last time he got away with it. His next stagecoach robbery got $4,800. That was a good haul in 1888, you know. And yet another robbery on November in 1888, he left behind a handkerchief at the scene, and they traced him back through a laundry mark.

Pinkerton detectives traced the handkerchief back to Charles Bolton, an elderly guy in San Francisco. And he confessed. Just an old guy in San Francisco just having some fun, I guess, here. The question for the win, how much time in prison did he serve? Was it A, zero years,

B, three years, C, six years, D, 12 years, or E, 24 years? The poetry robber. What do you say? I'm going to go with zero. I think he probably died before he got to go. No, he did live.

Oh, but a good try. Let me go next. We're talking about Black Bart. How long did Black Bart serve in prison? Hi, good morning. Who's this? Hey, it's Jerry. Hi, Jerry.

What do you say? Was it three, six, 12, or 24 years? What do you say? Six. You're thinking six. Was it six? Yeah, it was. Black Bart ended up serving only a short stretch in prison,

spent the rest of his days in Nevada. Charles Bowles, Black Bart got a six-year sentence at Sam Quentin. Sanquiton rather. He pled guilty to the final robbery. He only served about four years of that time, actually, before being released early for good behavior. He later confessed to being Black Bart, but bitterly disputed his reputation as an outlaw. He says, I am a gentleman, he told detectives with great dignity. How Bolton became Black Bart is unclear. What is known is that Bolton had tried to hit it big in the gold rush, but ended up with a, well, living beyond his means. Okay. That's why he. And, you know, with all the wildfires that broke out, and, you know, a lot of times the insurance companies start getting a little nervous, you know, that sort of thing. Well, I want to talk about not bringing in these AI centers. Oh, okay. I haven't noticed a lot of AI centers located in Southern Oregon yet, but this is starting to be a big thing. I think one of the problems may be we don't have a lot of cheap power at the moment in a strained grid, but that could change. Who knows, right? Right. Well, we've heard of something that might be wanting to happen in Phoenix, and we want to make sure we stop it. Oh, yeah? Because, you know, water is primary here, and we don't have any.

So, and that's, you know, one thing the AI is, is it uses up a lot of electricity, a lot of water, you know, a lot of nature sounds. It really takes a lot. Where are you hearing this news? I'm not aware of this plan, but that doesn't mean it's not happening. That's why I'm asking you. Could you tell me more about it? The one in Phoenix? Mm-hmm.

Not so much. I was talking to a member of the community over there, and she's well-positioned, and she says there's someone who has a lot of acreage over there who would like to turn it into an AI center. Oh, so we have property owner thinking, hey, This is the way I could do it. Make money, maybe, right? Yeah. I don't know.

I mean, that's largely what people are thinking they're going to do with this. So it's speculation at this point. Nothing official yet. No one's out there and said, hey, I want to build a loud, hot, noisy AI center out in Phoenix, right? No, no, they haven't done that yet. But, you know, we don't usually know until the signatures are drying on the contracts, right? Yes. Well, someone cuts a deal.

They approach the local. officials and cut a deal and then uh and then of course everybody sees dollars dancing in their heads and they see the potential for some tax money and uh property taxes and and various other things and are thinking hey what of course we'll like to do this you know the part that uh it'll be interesting i have to talk to some more people about this what was your name again one more time my first name is susia and my last name is offter hide well susy i appreciate the if you have anything any more meat on that phone let me know specific if something comes up up before the city council because it seems like the main bone of contention in Phoenix has been

it reminded me of an off-roading trip I took, and Southern Oregon has so many beautiful trails and so much history. Part of the Southern Oregon Trail follows the Klamath River, and I was doing some off-roading out there before they blew up the dams. And right before there's a place called the Topsy-Gree, and it's this volcanic rock and a narrow road that has a steep drop off, and it's a historic route. And at the bottom of it is this monstrous boulder. And it's not in the middle of nowhere.

You really have to have four-wheel drive and high ground clearance to get out there. But there's this little historical plaque, and it says this is referred to as robbers rock. And when the stage coaches would be coming down the top C grade, it was a, A big enough boulder you could hide behind there with a couple of guys and their horses and you could rob the stage coach. Oh, it would be a hideout, essentially. You hide yourself from the view. Okay. Robbers rock.

That's amazing. Yes. I wonder if Dr. Powers knows about it. And also, on that route, if people are interested in that part of the world, there's an old site called Klamath Hot Springs, which was a pretty interesting venue back over 100 years ago before this beautiful three-story, building burned to the ground. It's currently owned by Pacific power, but now that they've blown up the dams, I wonder if it could be restored. There's some old rotting buildings out there. And I've, you know, disregarded the no trespassing signs that hiked out there. And yes, there are still hot springs out there. So the hot spring didn't get affected by that. Very interesting. Well, well, they, this is before they

blow up the dam. So now it's even more exposed in their infinite wisdom to keep people like, me out, Pacific Power filled them with three-quarter minus gravel. Oh, okay. But it was pretty cool. So if people want to explore the history of Oregon, I highly recommend that route. So this is Dropsy. What is that again, the name? Oh, that's the Topsy-grade Road.

Topsy-grade Road, okay. And that's where I learned that there was actually a guy named Jesse Applegate, who actually led people in and out of the area. I didn't know why they called Applegate the Applegate. So that's one of the routes he would bring people in. Hey, Todd, I was reading something the other day. This is completely something different. Did you see that story about Oregon Department of Transportation battling our wrong way freeway crashes?

Did you happen to catch that story? I did not. I wanted to share this with you, you know, since we were here and talking about, you know, some weird stuff here. they have now been completing. They say this is an RV Times. A recently completed Oregon Department of Transportation Project aiming to reduce the disproportionate number of wrong way driving crashes on I-5. And they just finished this up.

It's like more than $3 million in engineering and construction. It's called the I-5 Wrong Way Driver Mitigation Project. That's what they've named it, right? You've got to have a great name like that. and Julie Denny, who's their P-I-O there, said that the wrong-way crashes are usually the result of drivers entering the freeway using the off-ramp. Yeah, we've heard about these stories. Now, they've added these flashing red lights and signs and solar-powered gizmos and everything. Exit 24 in Phoenix and exit 27 in South Medford.

These have been the problem ones. Now, remember, this is the wrong-way driver mitigation project. But have you ever noticed that they... never had a bad intersection design mitigation project. Have you noticed that? You wouldn't be referring to the Phoenix off-ramp off of I-5, are you? Oh, no, I would never. I would never say that this divergent ex-design in which strong women or strong men and

brave women are sometimes left in tears and frustration trying to figure out how to go. Myself included. Also, I don't know. I haven't noticed it up here in Oregon when I was working down in California. If you go the wrong way at night on the freeways, the backside of the box dots on the freeways are red. So your headlights illuminate them, and you pretty instantly know you're going the wrong way. I didn't know that. I didn't know that. I don't know. Oregon must not do this. But now the thing is, I understand why the Phoenix deal, they had limited area, right? limited. So the Divergent X design is designed to use less land. And the challenge that you run into,

they talk about when it's dark and rainy in that area, it is confusing because nothing about a Divergent X, I think, is intuitive. At least that's how I saw it. And maybe that's making the best of a bad situation. But that's what we have here. I think alcohol might have something to do with the wrong way stuff too. That's another issue. Yeah. But certainly, But I've also known people that are perfectly good drivers, and they say that sometimes they have trouble with that. Now, I go there enough that I've figured it out. But, yeah, I can imagine someone coming in for the first time could be a little bit confused. We'll excuse him for that.
