And you're waking up with the Bill Myers Show.
Mr. Outdoors joins me here in a few minutes after news and get some more open phone talk here.
Also some other events going on this weekend we'll be discussing.
David is in the Bay Area.
How are you doing, David?
It's three minutes after seven, by the way.
yeah yeah uh yeah i was just going to raise uh you know what they you know you're in the press
right and that's called the fourth estate are you familiar with the first three estates i don't feel
very fourth estatey but the point well taken uh why don't you uh help me out on that one david thanks
well this was you know the political theory of a couple a hundred few hundred years ago
when the printing press was invented and
the first three estates were the king, the military, and the church. And so when the printing press
got invented, and that you could write down things, and you could create, whether it was a song
or a history or, you know, any kind of imagery that could come from a printed work, that was
called the fourth estate, because it was as powerful as any of the other three. You know, a good
poster might be able to tone down the army. A good poster, a good song might be able to
challenge a king. And the church, in this case, this was the time of the inquisition when they
were burning witches and, you know. In some ways, it was sort of the quasi-judiciary of its
time. Would that be fair? Well, it was a challenge. And whether or not the judiciary is
honest. I mean, like right now with the Supreme Court saying that a bribe can be a tip,
and that a bribe is not a bribe, that's a tip. That came from the Supreme Court just a few
months ago. And so judiciary has a lot of, you know, good smell to it, but then all of a sudden
you can find the taint. But in the case of the first three estates, each of them have their
own different kind of propaganda, you know, that love the king, you better love the king,
and then you've got the military, which sometimes supports the king, but they have their own
kind of propaganda, tough guy this, tough guy that, you know, different forms of propaganda
that they run. And then, of course, the church has its version of reality, which can be
seen as whether it's true or not.
So tie this all together then, because you were calling in reaction to Dr. Georgiani's take
on things with men's health.
So the average human is still born into the ancient three estates, the military, the king,
the church, and they each hear these different propagandas, and they have to deal with them
as if they're either true or they better obey a stupid order.
And so, you know, there are a lot of famous authors that wrote about this.
The guy that wrote three musketeers, Alexander Dumas, he was great, you know,
and just describing the stupid reality when you've got a king's army, a church army,
and you've got a king's army, and king queen and church army,
and they each have thugs plus the authorization of different entities.
Would you go so far, David, as – and by the way, it's an interesting talk.
I'm glad you called.
Are you in some ways criticizing or bringing up what some have termed the myth of authority?
It can be, yeah.
And the whole issue about whether a kid is born into the –
this world, their parents try to teach them. But if the parents are stuck in one, you know, they
might be stuck in the church, they might be stuck in money, they might be stuck in bullying.
And each parent has their own particular angle they come in from. And most people don't actually
go out of their way to study all three of them. You know, most people are terrified just to
buck the church or to buck the bullies.
to buck the system, well, or to buck the system in general that they are worn into.
Well, you know, you know, something else, you bring up something that, you know, I'll even
talk about this, it has to do even with our constitutional system, which is a little bit
threadworn at the, in, at the moment, in my opinion, okay?
Well, the Constitution's fine. It's just the crooks on the Supreme Court that can take
obvious bribes and still have the position of power of saying that we have to obey illegal
you know okay well you you and i are obviously not looking at the same supreme court but be that
as it may even when you when you have a government system we talk about that we have consent of
the governed right we have consent of the governed correct that's what we're told that's what we've
been inculcated through our system that we have the consent of the government would you agree
That's what we're always conditioned to believe here.
Well, it's the, if you read, you remember Thomas Payne.
Well, no, no, I don't want to get off.
I'm just limited time here.
So I just want to ask you, when do we get a chance to say no?
Right.
Because all you're doing, all you're allowed to do, the only option ever offered is not,
do you consent to be governed by this, whether it's this state legislature, or whether it
is this constitution or whether it is this you know i'm getting at it's just always well you were
born into it that's why i'm trying to bring up thomas pain oh okay he says that in he says that in his
his famous work was called common sense and common sense was written i think it was published in
january of 1776 and by july 4th one third of the population of the 13 colonies had uh his
book oh yeah it went like crazy talk about
a bestseller.
And it starts out, and it says that there's a society and that there's a government.
And society is what everybody agrees on anyway.
But the government is when you have, say, like you've got a function that needs to be fixed.
Nowadays, we've got streetlights and stoplights and, you know, painting the road and things like that.
There's functions that need to be taken care of for our public safety.
You know, bridge inspectors.
Yeah, yeah, infrastructure, things like that, things that, you know, the commons, as it were, right?
Exactly.
We the people own it.
You know, we the people pay for fixing it on April 15th.
And then we end up with politicians that steal that money and pretend that their theft is more important than painting the stripes down the road.
All right.
David, you know, I could probably talk with you another half hour.
Unfortunately, I don't have another half hour.
Otherwise, I turn into a pumpkin, okay?
Yeah, but the biggest thing is what he was describing about the average human that's tormented by, you know, different social realities.
Well, think of it in terms of the people that are tormented.
Maybe they're trapped in one of the ancient three estates.
Maybe they're trapped.
They've got to keep exploring.
That's what school is for.
That's what, you know, the common debate is for.
Yeah.
I don't know if there's much of that exploring, though, in the common public school these days,
but that might be a conversation for another time.
David, I got a roll, but I appreciate the...
Appreciate you coming in.
KMED, KMED, H.D-HD-1 Eagle Point, Medford, KBXG Grants Pass.
Mr. Outdoors joins me here.
Outdoor Report and a bit more conversation, too.
One of each K-4-V-N-1-6-N-N-RP 6-2-5-6.
Two-and-a-half days.
Hey, folks, I'm going to interrupt the town hall here at the moment.
We're just going to go right to the Cash-Bel FBI,
press conference on this issue, okay?
Laboratories in Quantico and other laboratories, including the ATF.
This is Cash Patel FBI director.
At my direction, the FBI released the first set of FBI photos of the suspect at 10 a.m., local time
on 9-11.
Then, shortly thereafter, the FBI reward of $100,000 was released at 10.45 a.m. local.
Myself and Deputy Director Bongino arrived on the scene at approximately 5.30 p.m. on 9-11.
The governor led a press conference last night at approximately 8 p.m., where at my direction,
the FBI released a never-before-seen video of the suspect.
We also released new images to the public of the suspect.
And just last night, the suspect was taken into custody at 10 p.m. local time.
In less than 36 hours, 33 to be precise, thanks to the full weight.
of the federal government and leading out with the partners here in the state of Utah and Governor Cox,
the suspect was apprehended in a historic time period. And I want to highlight what Governor Cox said.
This would not have been possible without you, the media, and you the public. That's why we went so
public, so fast, and we're so transparent, and we're committed to that transparency.
The crime scene, just a little bit there. It is a large crime scene. State and local authorities,
along with federal authorities, process that crime scene quickly.
and I even had the ability to walk through that crime scene and walk through the steps the suspect took
to learn more about what was needed and what resources we needed to brayer to create a full picture for the FBI and leadership back in Washington.
Furthermore, thankfully to state and local partners, forensic evidence has been seized and continues to be garnered.
Forensic evidence has already been invalidated at FBI laboratories in Quantico and state local authorities.
here. We will continue to process evidence as we see it, as we collected, and we will continue
to deliver to Governor Cox and his team. Last night, we had a total of approximately 7,000
interviews, excuse me, 7,000 leads. As of this morning, thanks to your great work, we have over
11,000 leads that were called in to the FBI. And we are running out every single lead that we
can. Every one of those leads will be run out. The arrest is a testament to dedicated
of good law enforcement being great and partnerships in law enforcement, which I've tried to
highlight as my tenure at the director of the FBI. There is no better relationship for law enforcement
than the FBI to partner with state and local authorities, and you've seen it here in these last
few days. The FBI Salt Lake Field Office, along with our offices in L.A., Phoenix, Denver, San Antonio,
Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, our headquarters component in Quantico, all participate in the
FBI. I want to express my deep gratitude to the employees of the FBI, the men and women,
the evidence response team tacticians, the special operators, the agents, the support staff.
You have done monumental work in historic time when the public who had a right to demand such
an expeditious solving of an investigation, the FBI answered that call, diligently,
critically important to our nation, and we delivered, and I'm proud to be their leader,
and I'm proud to be the director of the FBI.
This is very much an ongoing investigation, as the governor said,
and we will continue to work with state and local authorities
to develop the investigation, to provide them the evidence they need
for their ongoing prosecutions, and we will be here to answer every call they absolutely have
as long as it takes for as long as we need to find an apprehend
to whatever suspects were involved in this crime.
that is a cash patel FBI director the suspect has been identified as 22 year old
Tyler Robinson Tyler Robinson of Utah and we'll keep you apprised of anything else
comes out there but he is in custody and is in the process of being interviewed and
interrogated it's a 16 minutes after seven we'll be right back mr. outdoors with the
outdoor report a bunch more are you or do you know it okay just a few minutes ago
Tyler Robinson of Utah, 22-year-old from Utah, has been announced as the suspect that is arrested and in custody in the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
So there we go, and a lot more detail as it becomes available, all right?
We'll continue with our conversation that we'll be doing here on Friday morning, too, and it is Mr. Outdoors Time now.
Greg Roberts from Rogue Weather.com. Outdoor Report is sponsored by Oregon Truck and Auto Authority.
airway drive in Medford.
Greg, I have no doubt that you, and of course, certainly I have an opinion on what happens next year on this Charlie Kirk thing.
But why don't you give us the news first off on when we go out and decompress this weekend?
And believe me, I think we need to go out and decompress this weekend.
Okay.
Yeah.
What should we be doing?
Where should we be headed?
And what's probably the expected conditions you'll see, huh?
Well, it's going to be a two-part weekend, the first part.
today, tomorrow. Really nice, really sunny. We're going to be pretty much right about average
today for a high in Medford with 86 sunny skies. We're going to be above average tomorrow.
We're going to be pushing up closer to 90. Another beautiful day. And then here comes Sunday
and another blast of very fall-like conditions. And we're going to see cloudy skies and chance
for showers and back down in the 70s. And then we get through Sunday. And then the way it
looks all next week right now looks very sunny and temperatures just a bit above average.
Right now, Tuesday projects for high in 92. So what does this mean for the outdoors?
Well, if you like to do it with sunshine, you better get it done today or tomorrow because Sunday
looks like going to be pretty widespread clouds, good chances for showers everywhere.
Not so much thunderstorms. The thunderstorm potential on this next season,
coming in looks to be largely coastal areas. So, you know, a bit more typical of things we see
happen in the wintertime. But like I said, it's just, it's really a one-day thing. Mount
Ashland is hosting their first annual October Fest celebration tomorrow at the ski area.
Going to be music, food beverages, of course. I mean, it is October Fest. And they've lucked out in terms
of the weather. The weather is going to be beautiful for that. So there's one good alternative if you're
not going to be into hunting or fishing. Yeah, I would also add that if you...
The reasons have definitely kicked in. Yeah, I would also add that if you wanted to get involved
in, you know, the rogue broadband brewfest is going on today and tomorrow too. And brewfest is also
going on this weekend out at the expo. Again, for the majority of that event, which kicks off
today and obviously tomorrow really good weather but it does go through to sunday and sunday is
looking like that day where they're pushing hey come on out watch your football games at brewfest
yeah that's probably going to be the activity to do with the clouds and the showers and the cooler
weather okay fair enough we'll take that and as far as um what are you looking at for long
and i don't want to say long term necessarily but i'm just kind of curious that because we're
a little bit, you say we're going to be a little bit warmer than normal. Is this going to be
kind of a tiptoeing and sort of easing into fall eventually?
Yeah.
Okay. All right. That kind of thing. It's definitely looking like that. And then NOAA climatological
put out another outlook yesterday, and they have bumped up the odds, the chances, the belief,
if you will, that we are going to see a Lanina develop for the winter, which would be
Good news, because that means snow, that means rain, that means cooler than normal conditions.
And it looks like it's also going to be a quick hitter like last winter's La Nina was.
So if you're going to have La Nina pop up, I think the timing with winter is definitely when you want to see that.
So it will magnify the snow that we're getting in the mountains and the rains we're getting.
in the lower elevations, which, of course, means it's going to help our water situation
come next summer.
Okay, now, I'm going to be very selfish as I get closer to Halloween because Linda and I,
we haven't gone out to the hot springs over in Cedarville for a number of years.
Yeah, it's been a while.
Yeah, we're going to make a special trip out there.
It's going to be Halloween.
That was the only time that our special suite was available that we wanted to go to for
our anniversary, even though our anniversary is actually in early October.
I don't know.
You think we'd be looking at deep and horrendous snow out in that area, Altora Cedarville?
At that point, no.
I don't think so.
All right.
Yeah, I think you're still going to be fine out there come Halloween.
But, you know, that's one of those locations that the way things look right now, if you were
talking about trying to get there for Thanksgiving, that might be a bit more challenging.
Got it.
All right.
That's what I was thinking.
Usually I was looking at the history of whether.
in Cedarville and Alturis.
And generally through October, yeah, you might get an occasional rain or something like that,
but the real snow doesn't seem to really hit until late November, mid to late November.
Okay.
So as far as you talked about thunderstorm chances out on the coast, right,
that's what you were just mentioning a few minutes ago.
And are we getting any rain on the moon complex in those various other complexes of fires
that had threatened Paradise Lodge and half-moon bar or half-moon bar?
One report I did get from out there was on the Kelsey Mountain Fire.
One of my sources was out on that fire.
And Tuesday morning, he let me know that on Monday they got a half inch of rain on the Kelsey Fire.
That's good.
And today's going to be the first day.
We're really going to be able to use the satellite to get a look at what's going on.
But based on the reports, we've been getting off of all these fires in our area,
the rains came and the fire activity completely went to deep smoldering and deep fuels.
Visible flames on the ground disappeared.
Well, that's great news then, because Mother Nature helping the firefighters.
That's always the way they eventually go out.
We know that.
Yeah, and last Friday, I remember vividly we were talking about the big helicopter drops from the sky,
and that is exactly what wound up happening, and it was pretty interesting.
down in Sisku County where they had their fires going, the Blue Fire, Dillon Fire,
log fire, more in the central part of the county, all three of those fires,
whenever the shower and thunderstorm activity developed,
it seemed to concentrate right over those fires.
So that was a great thing to watch happen.
All right.
Oregon Truck and Auto Authority sponsor of the Outdoor Report here,
and that's Greg Roberts from rogueweather.com.
Greg, we appreciate the take on things, and I imagine you have an opinion one way or the other about the Charlie Kirk situation.
I think we all do.
That one affected me more than even the President Trump assassination attempts, and it was because, not because he was a talk show host.
I had mentioned that what really got me was that Charlie was just out there standing in truth and promoting truth and just a First Amendment guide to the core, really, and talking about the truth.
And I know that assassination attempts are just a part of life of being president.
That is just the way it goes.
And President Trump had lived his life.
And, you know, big man, big life, big everything, you know, with him, had his family.
And Charlie, of course, slaughtered in the prime, you know, in front of his kids there, too.
And how are you approaching this?
What's your thought?
Obviously, I knew who Charlie was.
I would not call myself a devotee, and I was really hyper-attuned to what he's doing.
Because quite honestly, anymore, I'm not that for anybody.
Even Rush, as great as he was, and I probably listened to Rush more than I ever listened to anybody else,
just simply also because appreciate the fact of what he was doing and how great it was.
from being in radio myself, from hosting talk shows, appreciating that incredible talent on loan
from God, as he so often referred to it, sometimes it was more just that from the professional
side, listening to what he did and how he did it and being in awe of that more than what he was
saying in the content, but obviously a lot of agreement on the content, the same would be
true of Charlie. The ultimate irony here is watching what all the leftists are posting about
what they believe Charlie was espousing and pushing. I have never seen, I have, I have never
seen more lies and distortions in my life. I mean, I thought they lied and distorted Trump's stuff
all the time. Nothing compared with, well, this one that, that, that, that, that, that,
Listener Logan ended up sending to me.
This was one that was on the Ashland Community Facebook page, right?
And it was deleted, and it said, as much as it pains me as a mother to say,
I'm glad Charlie Cook is gone.
His harmful ideas in the extent to which they reached were detrimental to society to trans women and to all women, right?
That kind of thing.
So, oh, well, that makes it okay then to assassinate because he actually believes that a man is a man and the woman is a woman.
You know, that kind of thing.
And for Charlie, he never believed or espoused violence even once.
He was the complete opposite of it.
He wanted to have engaged discussions with anybody, anywhere, anytime, and completely nonviolent.
He never once encouraged violence.
He never once encouraged anything but dialogue between people.
And he was so effective at it.
and he was so effective at articulating his beliefs,
and it resonated with people, especially younger people.
It got to the point where the other side realized,
you better not debate this guy, you're not going to win,
and then the evil side of that was,
we're never going to win against this guy,
and I truly believe part of what happened here,
I don't believe for one second that idiot acted alone.
I hope they uncover the network,
that I know is out there.
Well, there's one thing we know about cash.
There's a lot of pressure on cash to really get to the bottom here.
I don't think there's going to be much interest in whitewashing this.
No, and I don't think there will be because this was so over the line.
I can't even begin to put it in words, but let's get back to the point we were making.
You talked about the Ashland Community page.
Jason Halk, big guy on Ciske.
radio. I even did his talk show talking about fires. Chris, and I just blanked his last name,
County Commissioner Josephine County. Chris Barnett? Yes, posted about Charlie's assassination,
and Jason Halk said, I'm sorry about your guy. No, Jason, that was our guy, and you are
articulating the problem. We have people in this world who now have taken it to a poisonous,
villainous, violent place that if you're in opposition, you're not their guy. Yeah, well,
the dehumanization. That's the big message without Charlie's assassination. Yeah, the dehumanization
of our credits. We certainly will do it to you. Okay. Point well taken, Greg. Got a roll, but stay in touch,
keep us in the room, okay? I'm with you.
And by the way, the justice I want to see here, I want that idiot standing in front of a wall,
in front of his family, in front of his friends, in front of his associates, and one shot
in the neck, and let him bleed out in front of his people, the way he did to Charlie,
to Charlie's wife and his two little girls. So absolutely horrific, I can't even get my mind around it.
Thanks for the call, Greg.
We'll talk next week, all right?
Wow.
Yeah, I get that.
Of course, Utah does have the death penalty,
and Utah does have the death penalty via firing squad.
This is the Bill Myers Show.
Hi, I'm Rob.
And I'm Debra.
And this is our Timber Tech story.
Montanaroofing Services.com.
The Bill Myers Show is on.
News Talk 1063, KMED.
emotions high of course this morning
and police have arrested a suspect in the assassination of Charlie Kirk
he's a 22 year old Utah resident
Tyler Robinson is his name booking photos are out there already
that kind of thing
and this happened late last night
brought in and it was Tyler Robinson's father
who was instrumental in getting Tyler to surrender
so apparently a father saw the picture
This is my son.
And so the Robinson father said, nope, you've got to go, apparently.
This is what we're getting some reports in them.
And emotions high over this weekly tumult of the assassination.
Vicki, you're here.
Good morning.
Good morning.
I just wanted to make a comment.
I believe that the left celebrating Charlie's death, the way that they're doing it,
they're portraying him as somebody that is not to be trusted or believe.
believed or listened to, and they're actually, they're trying to keep him from becoming a martyr
for the Christians and the normal people.
Yeah, we don't want a martyr for the normies here.
Right, and that's exactly what they've done, because he had such a following,
such a loyal, respectful.
You know, I wonder, Vicky, I wonder, because the thing is, he communicated.
really will with Gen Z and millennial, especially young men,
had a big, big following of millennials and young men.
And I'm wondering if the hard left is thinking like,
okay, well, now that the progressives have apparently, you know,
taken out your guy, what, come back home?
Come back home to the Democratic.
I'm being very cynical when I say.
You start wondering, but we don't.
And actually, though, we still.
don't know the motivation or the whole story right now. We know nothing still at this point
in time. I want to be right about this. And I think you're right. I think that the left saw all
their young base slipping to their evil fingers and they had to do something to make it seem like
this was the right thing that happened. This was a good thing that happened. Let's celebrate this thing.
I'm surprised at how many school teachers in the government school system are getting in trouble here
and having just blathered this stuff out about how supportive they were of the assassination that's been coming out this week.
And is there any wonder why the kids are so screwed up coming out of this system?
Yeah, this is my brain, Bill.
Yeah.
Thanks for the call.
All right.
Yeah, I'm not laughing, ha-ha, okay, but it's just like sort of incredulous about it.
Appreciate the call. Steve's in Sunny Valley. Good morning. Good morning. Yeah, I usually
don't agree with Craig Roberts because he uses 100 words when 10 would suffice. But he's absolutely
right about what should happen to this young idiot. He should be shot in the neck.
And we have a real problem in this country. We have decided that we cannot use
cruel and unusual punishment, and now we have no deterrent.
I think that guy on the North Carolina train, if he gets a death penalty, it's too good for him.
He needs to be castrated and hit with a flamethrower and allowed to live in 20 years in pain.
Because that would be a real deterrent for anybody else who thinks they might want to take a pocket
knife and stab somebody in the neck from the behind.
So you're more of an eye for an eye or in this particular case.
with Charlie Kirk, a neck for a neck, as it were.
Yeah, I think that we've lost the deterrent factor in our criminal justice system.
We're all about rehabilitation, and they're getting to live the high life, lift the weights,
and watch TV in prison, and that's not stopping anybody from doing anything.
Thanks for the call, Steve. Good hearing from you.
20 before 8, we'll catch up with some news, and a number of events.
going on to honor the life and contributions of Charlie Kirk.
We'll be talking with some of the individuals involved all on the way.
Are you, or do you know an adult 55?
American Ranch Garage, and I'm on KMED.
Quarter before 8.
Oh, by the way, a little nugget from that FBI news conference from a little earlier.
The governor of Utah ended up announcing that marked on the bullet that ended up killing
Charlie Kirk.
Hey, fascist, catch.
Yeah, yeah, there is no politics involved in this one.
Oh, it's just someone didn't like him.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
It is to say emotions high about this right now,
and people are wanting to do something about that.
And joining me right now is Victoria Westbrooks.
And what role do you play in the Jackson County Republicans, Victoria?
Welcome to this show.
Good morning, Bill.
Thank you for having me on.
Morning.
I'm the event coordinator for the Republican Party.
And what event are you thinking about coordinating for this weekend?
So we're going to have a vigil for Charlie Kirk.
We're going to be at the Jackson County Courthouse.
The address there if people need it is 100 South Oakdale in Medford.
It's going to be from Sunday on Sunday at 4 o'clock.
We're inviting the general public to come out and help us celebrate the life.
of Charlie Kirk and mourn his loss.
And you just wanted to do something, huh?
Yeah, you know, Charlie Kirk was a great man, a wonderful Christian, a great patriot,
and he had the courage to go out and talk to college students
and answer all their hard questions and, you know, stand up to them when they were wrong,
but still be kind.
That's a very important distinction you just made there.
Still be kind in spite of the fact that we disagree.
Good point.
So it's going to be 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon in front of the Jackson County Courthouse, downtown Medford.
Right?
Yes, sir.
That's correct.
All right.
Very good.
Thank you very much for letting us know about it and so that we could let everybody else know.
All right.
Thanks, Bill.
Have a great day.
You bet you.
Thank you, Victoria.
7705-633-770 K-M-E-D.
Grab another call here.
Good morning.
Hi, who's this?
Good morning, Bill.
This is Logan.
Hey, Logan.
What's up?
Hey, me and another few people in the community, Lance and Brittany,
decide to put together a memorial cruise that's actually gained a lot of traction.
We have over 110 people saying they're going in over 600 interested.
It's going to be a memorial cruise for him that's happening.
Saturday at noon, we'll be meeting at the North Medford, Walmart,
and doing a cruise through Medford.
People are encouraged to show up, you know, with kickstands go up at 12, 15th,
teen, we plan on leaving, but if you don't have a motorcycle, feel free to come in your vehicle
and just want to continue to bring the main purpose of the event is to bring glory to our king
because we know that's what Charlie would have wanted. His life is going to just speak volumes
in eternity, and we just want to continue to bring the message that he was bringing about the
love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Logan, are you wanting, I'm just asking you personally,
Are you and people, you know, are they looking for revenge?
No, that's not vengeance is the Lord's.
And the bottom line is we're called to love, our brothers, and the true body of Christ will always forgive.
And that's what we're called to do, Bill.
12 noon tomorrow, and where is it going to kick off this memorial cruise?
Right at the North Mefford, Walmart.
North Meppard, Walmart, very good.
If you want to show up a little bit early to fellowship,
and maybe get your rig ready and just meet the true Patriots that'll be there.
It'll be a great event.
All right.
Logan, thanks for the call.
Appreciate it.
Thank you, Bill.
Thank you.
770-5633, a little bit of open phone time here.
Well, that's why we call it, find your phone Friday.
Hi, good morning.
This is Bill.
Who's this?
Yeah, this is James and Selma.
Hi, James.
I was listening to your doctor, a fellow that was talking about foods and reading the labels.
Yeah, that's, by the way, Dr.
Salvatore Georgiani, and a really interesting guy, and he's one of the scientific experts at
Men's Health Network.org. It is one of the make sure that people knew who were talking about.
I talked with him last hour. What were you thinking?
Okay, there's two articles that I've read about lab-grown meat, and it's made from, in fact,
this is the title of the article, lab-grown meat is made from immortalized cancer cells.
and what they do is they take these cervical cancer cells from this lady that died in the 50s,
Henrietta Lacks, and they put the animal cells in there, and it's a tumor cells that grow into meat,
and then they've got the approval.
There's one name called Wild Grown.
also they use the same way to grow vaccines there's an article from Lou Rockwell if you look up sausage vaccine made
yeah well what you're talking about are referencing and then is how cancer cancer is essentially
uncontrolled cell growth and then you're thinking you're saying then that the science plan is to use
cancerous methods to generate meat cells so you can make animal-free meat, you know, that
kind of thing and or vaccines or other or other things that we...
And the article comes out of Bloomberg too, but if you look up like if cancer cells
or animal cancer cells are used in food production, it's no, it's human tumor cancer cells
that are used to produce because you can't just take still water and add an animal cell to it and make it grow
tumor that grows yeah all right yeah that doesn't sound really appetizing does it no i and i i hopefully
they put it on the label because uh oh it's like wild grown you think oh well this is this is safe to eat
Yeah, point will take it. James, thanks for sharing that story. I've read briefly on that process,
and so I'm going to have to educate myself a little bit better about that. Appreciate the call, though.
7705633. It's all comers this morning on the Bill Meyers show. Hi, good morning. Who's this?
This is crazy or not so crazy, Gene. All right, not so crazy, Gene. So it's not conspiracy theory Thursday,
but you're going down to conspiracy or something else on your mind. Well, my own way of thinking is that
this guy, this murderer, should not be put to death because he gets to escape his sentencing.
And because when we die, we all go to the same plate bad or good.
You know, that's really interesting.
You're thinking that it would actually be more, that it would be more punishment then to condemn him to a life in prison,
especially at the age of 22.
I mean, it's an early time to screw up your life forever.
Yeah, put him on heavy-duty, but just play.
Put him at the worst possible place you could find in the worst possible prison and make him suffer for as long as possible.
Okay, so that means putting him in downtown Chicago.
Right, got it.
Okay, I'm just kidding.
Yeah, just like that.
All right.
Thanks, Gene.
7705-633.
So, Gene's thinking that no death penalty and just a solid life in prison.
I don't know.
Hi, good morning.
Who's this?
Welcome.
Me?
Yes.
Go ahead.
Hi, good morning, Bill.
I would just like to bring forward a quote from Isaac Asmos Foundation series,
Violence is the Refuge of Incompetence.
Oh, yeah?
Just put that out over waves.
Violence is the refuge of incompetence.
So are you thinking that's what is happening from our political left, right, or at least the more unhinged of the political left?
Is that what you're thinking?
Well, the cognitive dissonance of realizing how stupid you've been,
usually drives people into really frantic, a panic mode of trying to protect their own ego from the consequence of their thinking.
So when someone is confronted with incontrovertal evidence, they've been an idiot, a lot of times they become violent right away.
Because, yeah, you're stupid, and I'm going to show you how stupid you are, boom, now you're dead, right?
I mean, I know I'm painting that inelegantly, but just saying, yeah, I'm going to show you how stupid you are,
even though I'm stupid too, but I'm going to show you how stupid you are, boom, I'm going to shoot you dead.
How dare you bring up a position in my own being that causes me to question myself?
That's where the violence comes from.
You know, there's another quote that I think, I think that's a great Isaac Asimov quote.
You know, another quote that I think is running through my mind this morning is from Adam Smith.
Remember Adam Smith, an ancient economist, yeah, historical economist, and mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.
Amen, amen, yeah.
Well, you know, there's a part of us that wants to jump up and smack this guy, right?
Sure.
But I agree with the former caller that, you know, having experienced it, the time one has,
locked in a small room is very, very strongly introspective.
So, yes, put him in a small room, lock him up, give him crappy food for the rest of his life,
and let him think about it.
Appreciate the call, Gino. Thank you for that.
God bless.
God bless you, too.
755 on KMED.
I'll take one more call.
Hi, good morning.
Who's this?
This is Kathy.
Hi, Kathy.
What's on your mind today?
Hey, I really think he should be locked up and then piped into his room.
should be Charlie's lectures.
Oh, no.
And his wallpaper should be those wonderful pictures of his family.
Oh.
And he should just have to listen to how wrong he is about what Charlie was trying to convey.
Well, he really affected you.
Oh, man.
Unbelievable.
I listened to him.
every day.
He was such a bright light.
But I think that there's so many people that are not exposed to what he really says,
but just get on like stupid Ashland community crap and live in this bubble,
and they don't open it.
We have to listen to what they say, and they don't have to listen to our point of view.
And he was breaking that, he was breaking through.
sorry. I tried to control myself, but he was breaking through, and they had to kill him.
It's just, I don't understand. But I really think that if he had been able to listen
to Charlie's message, perhaps this never would have happened. And I'm supposed to be donating
to my grandchild's college fund.
No, not doing it unless she goes to Hillsdale or some place else like that.
No, this indoctrination is ridiculous.
You can't ignore the influence of the indoctrination factories of modern American education,
and that is a deep, deep, dark pit of despair at the moment from the sounds of it here, Kathy.
Right, and I do talk to a lot of young people, and I try to be calm and tell them stuff.
and some of them, like, are thinking people, but so many are just vicious, vile, attack gross people.
It's scary.
It is truly scary.
I'm going to share a term of art that, you know, Kevin Stair from Oregon Firearms, I was talking with him off air yesterday, and he came up with a term I'd never heard before.
and I have to give him credit for it because I think it is so appropriate to where we find ourselves,
especially in certain educational circles, that America at the moment, at this moment, has been easing toward a garden of monsters.
A garden of monsters being planted everywhere.
Yeah, and I, you know, I never thought I would say this, but I would like to go back to Socrates.
times when people actually sat around or in France when people would have conversations around
a coffee table. You can't do that now. It's frightening. Kathy, thanks.
And Charlie was breaking through. Anyway, Kathy, thank you for the call. And by the way, I appreciate
your heartfelt comment. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Shade before 8 o'clock at KMED. KMED
