Starting point is 00:00:00 The Bill Meyer Show podcast is sponsored by Klausur drilling. They've been leading the way in Southern Oregon well drilling for over 50 years. Find out more about them at Klausordrilling.com. Here's Bill Meyer. Good morning. 11 minutes after 6. Join the conversation at 77056633 because it is Pebble in Your Shoe Tuesday. There's anything which is of concern.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Go ahead and join in and let me know about it. Hey, coming up, we're going to have a special little talk. I've never had the opportunity of chatting to Johnny Russo, but I hope I pronounced that name right. You know, it's the Italian spelling, the G-I-A-N-N-I, Johnny Russo. But remember, he played, gosh, what did he play in the Godfather? He played in the Godfather back in the day. He played the part of Carlo Rezi.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Yeah. And he's put out a book now. It's called Mafia Secrets, Untold Tales from the Hollywood Godfather. So in other words, he, because he was actually involved with the real-life mafia. I want to ask him why it is that there is still so much fascination about the mafia. I don't know if it's the moral code and it's kind of the just business, which is kind of the way Washington, D.C. feels these days, you know, it's just business, you know. It's nothing personal, even though we're making everything personal at the same time.
Starting point is 00:01:21 But we'll talk with Johnny about this. It's just kind of a fun little detour into Hollywood for a little bit. But we're also going to be digging into other stories, too, including a story that State Representative Duane Yunker let me know about yesterday in which a million-dollar check written to the tribes to refill welfare benefits, no real controls done on it. Anyway, Dwayne's going to get all involved in this. And it does appear to be yet another political payoff to a group which has been very supportive of Oregon State Democrat Party politics.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Okay, so we'll have a little talk with him about that. Herman Berichiger has a pebble in his shoe, actually, involving Pacific Power. He'll tell you more about that. We'll also shoot the breeze about other political news of the day, okay? All right, join in at 770563-770KMED. By the way, Minor Dave, you know, Minor Dave Everest, who calls the show, and you know him well, he is going for a pardon and he wants a pardon from the Trump administration and I've started writing out a letter because he has a template and he's hoping that we can get something going by getting
Starting point is 00:02:36 a pardon for his remember his so-called illegal mining activity he was put in solitary back in the day for 30 days 30 days in the hole yeah like the old classic rock song from the day 30 days in the hole yeah they put him in there and And it's kind of followed him ever since he's having to pay off the fine. And so I'm starting to write a letter to persuade the Trump administration to pardon him. And I'm hoping you can too. If you're interested, go ahead and email me, bill at billmire's show.com. And I will send back the information of maybe suggestions of sort of a template of sorts of things you can suggest and the address.
Starting point is 00:03:20 and because it's one of those things you write it in, you write it. I don't think you've submitted electronically. Maybe you could write it, but I think maybe snail mail might work better in this particular case. And unlike, now don't get angry when I bring this up, but the Trump administration does have a tendency of granting pardons to people who have people connected who have contributed to the campaign. You know, in fact, there was that guy. Remember the guy that ran that not, it's not Tesla.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Tesla is Elon Musk, but he ran the Nikolai truck company. Remember the Nikolai truck truck company? That was the company that failed, that went bankrupt, took like 30, if I recall correctly, I'm just a spitballing from this, folks. $30 billion of investor money went down the tubes, or several billion at least. There was a lot of money. This was the guy that was making electric semi-trucks, or supposedly making electric semi-trucks, and then it didn't work. And so he famously towed one of the electric semis up a hill and then let it roll down the hill, and they're taking video of it all along the way in order to encourage investors to invest in Nikolai.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Well, it was just a big fraud. Well, he ended up contributing a little over a million dollars to the Trump administration's campaign, and Trump pardoned him. Now, I don't have a million dollars to give to anybody in Washington, D.C., but we would like President Trump to. You know, maybe we can persuade, you know, that kind of stuff. Maybe we can persuade him without contributions. There is a little bit of appearance of play to or pay to play sometimes going on in the Trump administration. I don't like saying that, but the reporting is starting to get a little noisier. Speaking of which, of course, I mentioned this briefly yesterday,
Starting point is 00:05:27 and people have been yelling at me because I've been concerned about this blowing up of drugboats in the middle of the ocean in, by the way, international waters. And some of this may be coming around to bite the Trump. administration right now. At least they're trying, but President Trump has amazing Teflon skin, though. So this may be just another thing, a whole bunch of nothing. But administration
Starting point is 00:05:55 is accused of a potential war crime. We had mentioned that there was this talk about the second strike. The second strike is pretty interesting stuff, that there was a drug boat blowing up and that a verbal
Starting point is 00:06:11 order had been given. And that's just that everyone's saying this according to, anonymous sources and according to people involved with it. You know how the weasel words that get used with this, nobody comes out and says, yeah, Pete Hexeth told me to do this.
Starting point is 00:06:27 But yeah, White House said Monday, and the White House confirmed it, though, that the U.S. military conducted two strikes on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean in September, deepening questions about Defense Secretary Pete Hexeth's role in an operation that led to the
Starting point is 00:06:43 killing of two survivors. See, this is the issue. I think they should be concerned about just blowing up the drugboats because I think there are other ways to do something like this, but there are reasons apparently, are they going after Venezuela? Do they want to get Venezuela out because like, gosh, what was it, James Kunstler was talking about, he says this is about the fake elections and various election machines and servers and things like that located in Venezuela. I'm not going down that right now. But But there does seem to be a spool-up to want to go to war in some military conflict with
Starting point is 00:07:19 Venezuela right now to remove Maduro, okay? But anyway, now Secretary Pete Heggseth's role, his Admiral Frank Mitch Bradley, the head of Special Operations Command, was acting legally, this is what Pete Hegset says, was acting legally under authority to use legal force, lethal force granted by Pete Hegsetth in conducting the attacks on the drugboats. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt saying that this is not now, nor has it ever been about war crimes. It has two purposes. The first is to attack Pete Heggseth, who is definitely making changes in the Pentagon that the left sees as a direct threat to their long march through the institutions.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Certainly that's true. But I would also say that there is the possibility that the Trump administration in this case is once again handing its enemy a baseball bat with which to hit it over the head. and it's not if pete heggseth did say this if pete heggseth did say this and if they're able to to prove this there are likely problems and the problem with that is that it's uh in fact we have the treaty we have signed on to it the law of war it's uh by treaty united states is bound to this that you don't try to kill you don't kill civilians you don't try to kill civilians you
Starting point is 00:08:38 don't try to kill civilians you don't target them and these people are not uniformed military they're drug addicts you have or they're not drug addicts but uh arguably uh drug couriers but that is not considered a direct attack on the nation as someone uh you know lobbing a a missile into us so to speak although you know you can um you can argue and parse that and so is this going to go anywhere i don't know But it just comes right down to it, though, that playing a little bit cowboyish could be getting the Trump administration in some trouble. Now, I may not be trouble right now, but it could be trouble when we have the impeachments, assuming that the Democrats end up maybe tipping Congress next year. We'll see how that works out.
Starting point is 00:09:33 I know there's a long time to go until that election goes. But today it's going to be, what, Tennessee? They're doing special elections in Tennessee. We're going to find out if it's more mom-dani kind of characters or something different. I hope it says something different, something more Republican-friendly. But it's been a long-time situation, long-time part of our treaty that we are not allowed to target civilians. You're not allowed to target survivors. You're not allowed to do that.
Starting point is 00:09:59 And I don't know the whole story. You don't. News media certainly doesn't. and you know it there may be uh it may be just a lie too but Washington Post first reported this Wall Street Journal is now saying yeah and then the administration more or less confirming yeah we we targeted it for a second strike and this is something it's well known it's kind of like you know you don't shoot the lifeboats afterwards all these things that happen post World War II the Nuremberg trials everything else I'm just following orders that doesn't necessarily
Starting point is 00:10:32 protect you in something like that this also probably gives a little more fuel then to the to the Mark Kellys of the world that are saying, hey, you don't have to follow illegal orders. Well, of course, anybody that's gone through military training, from what I understand, is told about this. You're told about the military code of justice. You're told about this. You're trained about this quite frequently.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Now, the White House, of course, is shooting back and then saying, hey, you know, we don't want anybody getting in the way of command. This is the way every president would be. Trump is no different from any other president in this situation. It's kind of even going back to that. Remember what I mentioned even Richard Nixon back in the late 60? Well, the president, if the president does it, well, then it's legal. Yeah, yeah, there's been less and less control over presidents over time.
Starting point is 00:11:29 I don't know where that's going. But if they did, if the admiral was ordered, as the stories are accusing, of shooting the survivors, of throwing another missile to make sure that you killed the survivors, that's probably going to be some problems. And we have Republicans and Democrats that are looking to investigate that. So that is the latest that we have on that particular story right now. pretty easy. Now, I wonder if this is because there was a legal fellow involved. There was back in September, remember I told you about another drug boat blowup in which there were a couple of survivors. Remember, there were two survivors.
Starting point is 00:12:12 This was in September, I believe, that it happened. And the Trump administration ended up taking the survivors and not arresting them as terrorists or narco-terrorists like they've been talking about in there. the news. They released them to their home countries. I think one was Columbia. I forget where the other one was. But they were both released. And then there was a legal eagle within the military that had released or left. I'm going to try to find that story, but it left. And they're thinking it was one of the lawyers that was telling the Trump administration, you know, you may have some problems legally with these drug blowups. And then that person is gone. And so I guess maybe they put an attorney in that gave the right answer.
Starting point is 00:12:59 I'm just spitballed with you, but one could assume that's what's going on. They don't want anybody telling anybody, no, you can't do that. But that could come back and bite the Trump administration. Just telling you the way the reporting is going. We'll see. 24 minutes after six, this is the Bill Meyer show. I appreciate you waking up on KMED at 993KBXG. Picture it.

Hi, I'm Matt Stone with Stone Heating and Air, and I'm on KMED. 626. Other news. State Senator Golden, except, yep, he kept us on tenterhooks wondering, is he going to run?
Starting point is 00:14:34 Will he not run? Of course, Democrats, from understand, not real happy with him. His own caucus is not necessarily in love with Mr. Golden, but Senator Golden is going to run for re-election, third term. And that'll be coming up for District 3. He's held that position since 2018. So we'll see where that ends up going, all right? Now, of course, Brad Hicks is going to be taking him on.
Starting point is 00:14:59 It looks like he's going to make it through. I don't think there's a primary challenger on the Republican side, so it could be setting up to be a Brad Hicks, Senator Golden Conversation. I'd be looking forward to the debates. I know that Senator Golden was saying, hey, you know, we need to, there's still more work for me to do. Yeah, more work for me to do.
Starting point is 00:15:20 I quit last night that after the wildfire mapping bill, I'm hoping that Senator Golden gets lazy. It just gets an attack of the lazies and said, oh, come on, just get ready and collect your purrs and just sit there like a bump on the log. Is that okay? All right. So that's the latest from Senator Golden's style of things. 7705-633-770 K-M-E-D. Russo will join me here in a couple of minutes, and we'll talk with him. He's from The Godfather, author of Mafia Secrets, Untold Tales from the Hollywood Godfather.
Starting point is 00:15:55 I'm looking forward to it. Maybe the book will come on my front door. It'll fall off the back of a truck or something. I don't know. Hey, it's Pebble on your shoe Tuesday. Good morning. Who's this? Good morning, Bill.
Starting point is 00:16:10 It's Francine. I thought that was your number. How you doing, Francine? What's up? I'm good, Bill. Well, I have one small pebble, but I do have some commentary to make about the Trump and the boats and all that. Okay. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:16:22 So my pebble is that they took away our ability to use Strike Anywhere matches. For our safety, we can only strike them on the box now. Oh, are those gone? Really? They're gone. The Red tip, Ohio, red tip, stuff like that. You can't get them anymore. I went online.
Starting point is 00:16:41 I did a big search. It's like it's driving me crazy. Now, were they banned because of law, or was there maybe some lawsuit or something that took them out of contention? Because I still have boxes of those stored in my prepper supplies. Where's your pepper supply? Well, you know, it's like I have an ammo can. I keep stuff like that in an ammo can, you know? Well, I mean, you know, I build a fire every morning in the winter, and, you know, I have to have the little box and strike it on the box.
Starting point is 00:17:11 And after a while, the box starts getting worn out. I mean, it's still working, but they're these little green-tipped things now, and it's just, they, it just makes you feel like, you know, you're a little kid and mommy and daddy don't want you to do this, so you want to do that. You know, I'm going to look that up. Let me get back to you on that one, all right? Okay. Thank you. Thank you. And then we'll talk to Trump thing.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Wait, wait. No, no, no. Give me a call back. I got Johnny Russo standing by, okay? I got to talk with John. All right. I will do that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:37 All right. I'll take a double call from you. No problem, okay? All right, Bill. Thank you. See you. 629 at KMED. Wellburn's weapons is your friendly gun, suppressor, and ammo dealer.

It's been confirmed by Portland Democratic Representative Darcia Graber in a newsletter. The Democrats are looking at severing Oregon tax code from federal tax code, meaning that Oregon taxpayers will lose about $88 million annually in tax savings. The severing would also eliminate an unknown amount of state-level tax cuts on tips and overtime pay. A federal judge denied release for a Medford businessman Joel Caswell. Ruling Monday, he'll remain in custody while awaiting trial on more than 20 federal financial charges, including aggravated identity theft. Couswell allegedly traveled out of the country last year after fraudulently obtaining a temporary passport from Berlin and leaving the country using his brother's name after his passport was seized as condition of release in a separate state case. Starting point is 00:20:48 Welcome to the Bill Meyer Show on 1063 KMED. Give Bill a call at 541-770-5633. Well, I'll tell you what, hold the calls just for a minute because I have a pretty darn cool call here. That's Johnny Russo, knows the mafia inside and out. grew up in Manhattan's Little Italy, worked with Mafia boss, Frank Costello, of course, played in the Godfather, in the Godfather, Carlo Reesie, and he's the author of Hollywood Godfather, and also Mafia Secrets, Untold Tales from the Hollywood Godfather. How you doing this morning, Johnny? Pleasure. Never had the opportunity to meet until now. I'm doing great, my man. Thank you for having me on. I appreciate it. Yeah, glad to hear that you're still kicking after all these years because, gosh, you know,
Starting point is 00:21:36 if you played in the early 1970s with the Godfather, gosh, you've had a very long life, haven't you? Well, in 10 days, I'll be 83, so I'm still healthy and kicking and on to it with his book now, and I'm really happy about that. Yeah, little Kianti, right? Little Kianti, every day? Is that part of a deal? No, I'm actually doing white wine now. My doctors told me I drank too much red.
Starting point is 00:22:05 I got too much sulfide in my blood. Hey, Johnny, I want to talk about Mafia Secrets untold tales from the Hollywood Godfather. Because, like I said, no, were you a made man back in the day? Or were you just kind of... It was made in my life and did want to be. You know, what's good about Costello raised me, and my family was hands-on all the time, at a Sicily, and they kept me in the gray area, I say, not black and white in gray. But, you know, I have liquor licenses all over the world.
Starting point is 00:22:41 I import foods. I'm a legitimate businessman. That happens to have friends in Palermo. Okay. What is it, though, about Mafia, LaCosa Nostra, that you think we find, the people who are outside of that find so interesting, and I think from you being on the inside of this, You'd have a story to tell. Well, you know, there's always been an intrigue.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Oh, God, Cagney, all these guys made careers out of it. I saw it early on. I just saw, you know, the mystique about it, the sex appeal. I was always interested in women, fortunately. I never switched. Thank God. Anyway, with that, and now what's going on, I think it's the mystique. You know, there's a sex appeal about it, and that'll never be.
Starting point is 00:23:29 away. Think about it. I understand that you were kind of on the inside of some of the more famous celebrity deaths out there, like even Marilyn Monroe. Could you share a point or two about that, having been within the mob, then? Well, Marilyn, you know, that came on as any person walking on the streets at 15. I got stopped by a true officer, and he's why ain't you in school? I was wearing bryote suits. I already have $2,000 in my pocket at 15.
Starting point is 00:24:03 And I laughed at the guy, and he gave me a ticket. Next thing, you know, I had to go to continuation school until I was 16. And fortunately, I went there because I became a shampoo boy at Lily Dashay. And that's how I met Marks, and Claire, and Kenneth. And I met Marlon there in the next five years. We were friends for the next five years before Bobby Kilda. You know, and so I didn't plan it. fell in place fortunately so the conventional wisdom is that uh r f k killed him or killed her
Starting point is 00:24:34 rather that was just saying or j f okay i know that for sure i was in my book i was with her at cal and the last five days of a life on the last weekend of july in 1962 they wanted her to sleep with bobby one more time on on film oh and she went crazy nobody realized She just had an abortion six weeks ago, and all she ever wanted was a kid. She was going back to Joe to Joe, just to have a kid. She was ready. She was done. She was in a mid-30s, wanted to relax.
Starting point is 00:25:09 She became a big star, which she wanted to become. And unfortunately, you know, they took her out. Johnny Russo with me. Of course, one of the stars, a co-stars of the Godfather, author of Mafia's Secrets Untold Tales from the Hollywood Godfather. How did you end up getting that part? Was it because you, you know, were legit or, you know, legitimately in the, in the Mafia or something different?
Starting point is 00:25:36 What happened? Legit didn't get me the part. They were having problems. Paramount was having problems in New York. And Joe Colombo started picking in the FBI building of the famous Joe Colombo, the Colombo family, one of the five families in New York. and I saw a way to make money with it.
Starting point is 00:25:54 So I went in to see him in Brooklyn and his club. We talked about it. And then we had a meeting at Gulf of Western Building with Charlie Bluedorn at that time, just bought Paramount. This was going to be his first project. And the rest was history. And my reward for putting the meeting together, I got the part of the call on. That's when people asked me who cast me in the movie, Joe Colombo did, not Francis Ford Coppola, not Al Rod. as they did in the offer, that was all BS.
Starting point is 00:26:24 What an interesting story now. Was this a way that, you know, that Colombo was able to get the union people off of everybody's back? Because I know it's always, it was always tough working in New York City, wasn't it, unless you had the unions all behind you? Well, that's what they needed to do, because if they wanted to put pressure on you and shake you down for money, the union would come in, and you can't get past that. And so they knew they had to make a deal, and fortunately we made a deal. And here we are 55 years later talking about one of the greatest films in the world. And I'm so happy I had a part in it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Major part, no less. Why was Vegas better back in the day when the mob controlled it, Johnny? Well, I mean, but the cops, I mean, I'm hearing constantly now Vegas is going down. I know three casinos, federal bankruptcy. How does that happen? But they're charging for valet parking. They're charging $7.50 to $14 a drink. You never paid for that stuff in Vegas.
Starting point is 00:27:26 That's one thing. When the mob ran things, you felt good about it. It's calm. They were making money from you every day when you went to the tables. They didn't need to sell your drink or valet parking. To me, they're destroying it. But, I mean, it's so saturated now gaming it. There's not enough to go around.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Unfortunately, I just made a good. great deal with Resorts World for 11 casinos, and they would just grant their license. So I'll be going to Apple and a park starting April, just, you know, as a performer. And that's all I wanted to do at 83. What a story at the age of 83. Johnny, I appreciate. I know you have other people to talk, Wu, I talk to you, rather. I appreciate a few minutes.
Starting point is 00:28:10 And I'll, your secret safe with me here, okay? But I'll make sure everybody else knows about Mafia Secrets Untold Tales from the Hollywood. Godfather. You'd be well, okay? Take care. Thank you so much, my man. Twenty before seven on KMED. Starting point is 00:32:51 I ended up, you know, cutting Francine short right before Johnny Russo of the Godfather. But, yeah, he was on, and you had some more comments. You wanted to weigh in on that. And you were wondering about
Starting point is 00:33:04 what part did Johnny play? You were wondering, right? Yeah, yeah, I was trying to figure that out. I couldn't remember which guy he was. Yeah, he played Carlo Rizzi. Now, Carlo Rizzi, he was the one that was married to the court. He married into the Corleone crime family in the movie, okay? Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:33:23 And remember, Sonny beat the, beat him most to death near the end of it, right before Sonny was machine gunned on the, on the turnpike. Boy, that was a heck of a scene. Yeah, yeah. So Johnny played the wife of, gosh, Which, Corleone, Connie, Connie Corleone. It's Connie's husband, right. Connie's husband, and he was abusive to her.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Yeah. So, and once again, Johnny Russo, like he was just saying, he got that job because of Joe Colombo, you know, the mob boss in New York City, and we're less telling Francis Ford Coppola, hey, you're going to bring him on as a reward, and it's kind of like helping grease the skids. It's... You're going to give him a point.
Starting point is 00:34:08 You're going to give him a pot. Yeah, you're just going to give him a job, you know. I love it. I love it. Yeah, some of the most iconic scenes, though. You know, to me, this is the transgender part of the Godfather, which I loved. You can act like a man. What's the transgender part?
Starting point is 00:34:30 This is how you turn around the Hollywood Pinocchio that cries like a woman? Yeah, here we go. Yeah, this is the transgender one. Let me roll this again, okay? You can act like a man. What's the matter with you? Is this how you turned out of Hollywood, Pinocchio, that cries like a woman? What can I do?
Starting point is 00:34:47 What can I do? Yeah, that was with Johnny Fontaine, and Johnny Fontaine, of course, loosely Frank Sinatra. You know, that's what that was all about. Yeah, right, right. And then the horse had in Jack Walsh's bed. I love that movie. You can tell I've watched it a few times over my lifetime. Yeah, I've got a copy, too.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I just looked at it the other, or the disc the other day, and said, hmm, I might need to watch this again, you know, so I think I will now. Yeah, every time it comes by, I save it in the TiVo, and as long as Linda's not around, Linda hates the mob movies. I love mob movies, and I think it is the intrigue, whatever. Well, I'm a little bored with them now, you know, there's been so many, but that was, the Godfather won, the first one, that was just too classic. Yeah, yeah, and actually the second one was great. The third one, oh boy, that was lousy. That just stunk, man. That's what happens with movies.
Starting point is 00:35:40 They just keep rolling them out, and they just get worse and worse. Yeah, indeed. Now, you had a comment on something else on the news before I cut you short because Johnny was coming on. Yeah, we're talking about the boats, Trump bombing the boats and going back a second time to kill the survivors. Okay, and there's, you know, all the reasons you mentioned about what that's... Yeah, the law of war could... That's really looked down on. Yeah, the law of war could be, now this is going by the White House has confirmed that there was a second strike, okay?
Starting point is 00:36:09 So that's not, that's not in dispute. The dispute is who gave the order or was there an order being given the law of war, which the United States signed on by treaty, could be causing us problems because we say we don't, when we signed on to that international treaty, we said we wouldn't do stuff like that. Right. And then, but my comment goes, it takes it up a slightly different direction. Okay. And that, okay, so there are two survivors. Now, when there's a crime being committed, the, usually you want to talk to perpetrators
Starting point is 00:36:45 to get inside information. Right. So getting rid of the two survivors instead of taking them into custody helps feed the questions that people have been putting out there like, well, are these really drug runners or are they just fishermen and, you know, being, you know, attacked just to make Trump look like a badass or something, you know, now there's, so there's that aspect of it. And the other thing is, okay, remember when they went and they found Obama and, or I mean, Bin Laden, they found, they found bin Laden. Yeah. And, and they went after him, you know, the helicopter crashed with the,
Starting point is 00:37:20 with the six Marines. And they got, they got his, they killed him, they got his body, and they took and dropped it in the ocean. And then nobody gets to ask any questions, right? Nothing to see. And, yeah, and it's like, who was it really? Because most of us are, you know, that really looked into these things. They're under the impression that, you know, Bin Laden died in a hospital from, you know, or whatever from his, what was it, he had.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Yeah, yeah, well, he had, he was on the kidney dialysis. Yeah, yeah, you know, that he just died because he was a sick man. So, so it's another, you know, that was a total. whole total phony setup, you know, which our government, we're starting, we're, more and more people, I think, are starting to get. Okay. Well, since we are engaging in conjecture right now, okay, that's, that we're doing, and that's what you do in talk radio. We entertain theories, and we talk, well, maybe it's, it's this way, because, you know, any news report that I get from the government, you know, I would always discount and mistrust, we don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Does the Washington Post know? Well, they claim they do. Does the New York. Times does the Wall Street Journal? Yeah, they all may know bits and pieces. I'm starting to think that what might be going on in, at least in Venezuela, this is my theory. You can tell me what you think, and other people can weigh in on it too. I think this is really about the war on the deep state or against the deep state because it's been pretty well known that the CIA essentially ran Venezuela. You know what I'm getting at? Rent almost everything. Well, yeah, but I'm saying, but what I'm saying, but what I'm saying, though, all the talk
Starting point is 00:39:03 about these stolen elections and various other things, and that what this is really all about, and I understand the CIA director, Radcliffe, has been very silent the last several weeks here, and you would think there would be a little more conversation, especially given all this stuff going on. Maybe what we're witnessing is a war in Washington, D.C., that just happens to be playing out in Venezuela. How about that? Well, you know, I mean, I think, I don't know. I think everybody involved in all of these weird covert operations,
Starting point is 00:39:39 whatever you want to call them, I mean, they're all, well, even if they don't know it, they're all playing for the same team. And, you know, my... Well, what I'm just saying, though, is that this is really a battle between Trump and the CIA, right now. Well, that could be on his own personal level because he feels like he got just really bad. You know, well, you know, there could be some of this, but part of, and maybe in spite of the fact, and I'll tell you, I've been uncomfortable with these drug boat things and people were saying, what, you want drugs coming in here? No, that's not it. I just know that it could be
Starting point is 00:40:15 taken care of in different ways, in my opinion, okay? Well, we don't know for a fact that it's their drug boats because they've never captured one and we've never had any of the people running them to talk, you know, to interrogate. Well, the claim is that, yeah, we've been looking at them and we see the drugs get loaded on. And, yeah, you know, what is the speedboat doing out headed towards the United States anyway? So I get that. I get that. They're not drug boats.
Starting point is 00:40:39 I'm just saying the proper procedural way to do this to have it, you know, so people can't look at you and point fingers and say, hey, you're doing this. You know, they're not following proper protocol. But what if this is about sending a message, not to Venezuela or Maduro, which is what I think we're being conditioned to think, what if it's really about sending a message to the CIA that your fraud, that your fraud over in Venezuela is over? Because nobody seems to really control the CIA at this point. I'm just spitball in here. I'm just throwing it out. That's a possibility that, you know, Trump, his ego is just, it's so enormous. And I think he feels he can pull anything off he wants to because he's the president of the United States and Donald Trump, all real.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Well, but everybody, everybody's like that. You know, and this is nothing new because, remember, Obama killed 74 with his Tuesday kill list, remember, in a drone an American citizen, you know, just. Yeah, Obama is just, you know, absolutely filthy. Yeah, but I'm just saying that this is, I think this is just the nature of the presidential office, these days. And frankly, a lot of this ever has happened since 9-11, 9-11, 2001, because of the... Well, when we first got hip to it. Yeah, all right. When it started becoming, okay, you know, glaringly obvious.
Starting point is 00:42:05 All right. I appreciate your call, and thank you for making it, okay? Take care. All right, for my second dip. All right, second dip. Well, we don't do second dips often, but that's all we're going to do. So what do you think about this? Is maybe what we're seeing in Venezuela really, a battle between Trump and the CIA at this point. And maybe that's what it's really all about. Hey, you better get out. Maybe it's like the, you know, the vote-stealing playground is over.
Starting point is 00:42:32 I know that is something that James Howard Cuncelor has been opining about too on his blog. You know, the guy of the long emergency. But anyway, just throw it out there to you this morning. Anything else on your mind, too, including whatever could be a pebble in your shoe Tuesday. this is one that I wanted to bring up. I had a couple people write me over the weekend. It had to do with, gosh, what was it? Oh, yeah, it was about dogs in the stores.
Starting point is 00:43:00 Dogs in the stores. And the claim, Oregon law is pretty clear that unless you are a service dog, unless you are a true, legit service dog, you're not supposed to be, you know, going into retail establishments. That's what the, you know, what the law says in Oregon. But we're seeing this rise of everybody taking their fake therapy dogs, fake therapy ferrets, fake therapy, whatever it is, and going wherever they want. Because you just go on Amazon and you can buy the vests and people put them on. Hey, here's my therapy ferret.
Starting point is 00:43:34 You can't stop me from doing this. Did they do a little crackdown? Should they be a little more forcing you to prove your legitimacy with your therapy dog or your service dog, as it were? What do you think? Let me know what you think. 770563.633. Give Bill a shout at 541-770-633-770 KMED. Boy, here's a big pebble in someone's shoe this morning from the OSP before I get to your calls. An OSP incident report.
Starting point is 00:46:12 This is in the Royal Valley Times. woman bitten by a black bear put in the hospital three charged for chasing or harassing wildlife in Gold Hill. This is Whirl Gold Hill Friday. This guy got lost to the shuffle over the holiday weekend, right? But OSP responded to a bear attack on Friday morning and a yearling black bear being shot and killed, a woman who tried to feed the bear a dog treat, dumbass, being transported. to a Medford hospital after being bit, the troopers charged three people
Starting point is 00:46:49 with three counts of chasing or harassing wildlife reported that the bear carcass was collected for rabies. And according to this OSP report in the Road Valley Times, they saw a small black bear on Sam's Valley Road and they got out of their cars trying to take photos and approach the animal, probably for social media purposes, right?
Starting point is 00:47:10 The bear became stressed after being cornered and charged one individual, and the witnesses reported, was a woman trying to feed the young bear a dog treat. All right. Second bystander charged by the bear, then shot and killed the animal. So the bystander shot and killed the animal, and the woman was transported to RRMC with a significant bite. So they charged a 50-year-old man, a 52-year-old woman from Jacksonville, and a 74-year-old. year old man from Gold Hill. They chose poorly.
Starting point is 00:47:47 What are you doing feeding the wildlife? I don't know. Okay, Minor Dave, take it away. How are you doing this morning? Yeah. So Kennedy wanted to break the CIA up in a thousand pieces, and I believe they murdered him for that. And, you know, the CIA has been a rogue agency for a long time.
Starting point is 00:48:09 And that's because they're members of five eyes. which is, you know, the British commonwealth. Is there a possibility when we talk about the deep state we're really talking about government intelligence, such as CIA? Right, we are. We're also talking about the globalists that run the CIA, and the biggest globalists are, is the British Empire or the UK, and they're basically crown agents for the British government.
Starting point is 00:48:40 It's an interesting theory. I still don't see the power, like the Brits being part of that power structure, though. The powers with the MI6. Maybe you're right about that, MI6 and the other intelligence agencies. What do you think, though, about maybe what's going on in Venezuela? Do you think that's really a war between Trump and CIA, or at least a possibility? No, it's a war with the globalist. But if it's a war with the globalist, wouldn't that be, in essence, being a war with the CIA?
Starting point is 00:49:10 because the CIA has been known to pretty much run that town. Yes, yes, exactly, but they're also doing it with MI6 and British intelligence. All right. Well, Mider, Dave, I will certainly take that under-invisement. By the way, I am writing your pardon letter. I'm going to write a letter to the pardon. And is it better? Can you email that or does it have to be snail mail?
Starting point is 00:49:34 Yeah, you can go to whitehouse.gov, and you can go to contacts, and you have to fill out a little form because it becomes part of the presidential record. All right. And then you can go to the website for the U.S. Patent Office, and there's an email there. Now, if you had a big donation for the presidential library, that could probably help, but we'll just have to... Well, I'm just a poor guy.
Starting point is 00:49:58 I don't have that kind of money. All right. Well, I'll work it from the side of goodness. How about that? Okay? Yeah. All right, Dave. You take care.
Starting point is 00:50:07 KMED, KMED, H.T.1, Eagle Point, Medford. XG grants pass. Interesting times where we find ourselves. We'll catch up on some of those interesting times here in just a moment. And then a million dollars, just kind of sliding down the gullet into the tribes, the tribes that are political supporters of the governor. What's going on with that? State Representative Dwayne Yunker. We'll join me here in just a few.
