Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Thursday, October 3rd, 2004, stand up for your country. Another very important news day, and we will have coverage no one else will provide, which of course is why you are watching me and listening to me on our radio station. The talking points memo this evening is a warning. We live in dangerous times, not just from terrorism and crime. Our own fundamental rights are under siege. Now, I'm going to give you the most vivid example that I can possibly give you.
Starting point is 00:00:53 All of us as Americans have a right to do process. That means we are innocent until proven guilty. The reason that the founding fathers put this in the Constitution is that in a monarchy, like England, George III, if George III said you were guilty, you were guilty. In Putin's Russia, if Putin says you're guilty, you're guilty. China, Vietnam, Cuba, on and on, all totalitarian societies. If the government says you're guilty, that's it. No lawyer, no jury. You're guilty. Here, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and the other
Starting point is 00:01:36 founders went out of their way to set up a process whereby accusations had to be proved in order for action to be taken against the accused. I wrote a whole book on this, killing the witches. Now, that was before we had a Constitution. Those are the first people that came over. And they hanged 20 human beings for nothing. Because some kook, some minister, some judge, are they witches. So now in 2024, we're back to Salem, Massachusetts, because of the media. so any famous person or even if you're not famous and you're in a local town or whatever accused of
Starting point is 00:02:27 anything boom there it is front page okay and you're damn guilty and if it's proven that you're not that'll be on page 77 three years from now all right let's get specific so one of the biggest due process deniers in this entire country is Kamala Harris. So as Senator, she took the lead in convicting Brett Kavanaugh of heinous crimes when he was younger. All right, Trump nominated Judge Kavanaugh to Supreme Court. Kamala Harris took the lead in the Senate and smeared the man all day long. No new process. He was guilty. All right, here's what she said, September 27, 2018. Go. I'm just asking, are you willing to ask the White House to conduct such an investigation? Because as you are aware, the FBI did
Starting point is 00:03:31 conduct a background investigation into you before we were aware of these most recent allegations. So are you willing to ask the White House to do that? And say yes or no, and then we can move on. I've had six background investigations over 26 years. As it relates to the recent allegations, are you willing to have them do it? The witness testimony is before you. No witness who was there supports that I was there. So no evidence has come forth. Even to this day, no hard evidence that Brett Kavanaugh committed any crime or did any public indiscretion.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Now, the FBI investigated it. didn't come to a conclusion, but issued a report on Kavanaugh, and each senator, including Harris, got the report, but it was not made public. I guess for privacy reasons, because the FBI had to interview a whole bunch of people, but the FBI and the Justice Department didn't take any action against Kavanaugh. Obviously, he was confirmed by about a 5048, very close, on October 6, 2018. he's now a Supreme Court justice. So I remember Kamala Harris's conduct in that case very vividly, and most Democratic senators were the same way,
Starting point is 00:04:54 but not as visible as she. Believe all women. Remember the slogan? And Cabinet is guilty. He's guilty. Okay. Now, Doug Imov. the vice president's husband
Starting point is 00:05:14 is accused of hitting a woman in 2012. Story is very dubious. To me, as a trained investigator and journal, it's a very dubious story. I know who put it out. I don't trust them. But it was page one in New York posting. And I'm not going to get into it.
Starting point is 00:05:41 until there is a name on the story for the accusation. There's no name, it's all anonymous sources. Now, I don't do that. You know that I don't do that. Because that's part of the erosion of due process that puts us all in danger, okay? That anybody can say anything, but you don't know who's accuser is.
Starting point is 00:06:03 You have a right to face your accuser according to the Constitution. So I don't do this anonymous source stuff, but I am the exception rather than the rule. However, the mainstream media, the corrupt corporate media, is ignoring largely the EMOF story because it would hurt their candidate Kamala Harris. So if this were J.D. Vance and somebody in 2012 said, Vance did X. Boom. Okay, you wouldn't, you couldn't avoid the coverage. But for Doug Imloff, no, even though there's context here because his wife condemned Brett Cabin. All right, we'll all get it? Okay. So I'm on News Nation last night with Chris Cuomo and
Starting point is 00:07:00 Stephen A. Smith. Roll a take. I'll tell you some truisms here. Stephen A. made a brilliant point. about Kamala Harris's conduct in denying Justice Kavanaugh a due process. She absolutely convicted him. She denied him any kind of fair hearing. Guilty. She's guilty of being a due process denier. Her husband is entitled to due process. As you pointed out, this is a 12-year-old beef.
Starting point is 00:07:34 There is no complainant on the record. None. I'm not going to besmirch the reporter because I don't know what he has, but I will tell you I would have never gone public with a story like this. However, you are not going to hear anything from Me Too, Times Up, or any of them, at all. Nothing. But if it were a Republican or a conservative, they would be denying the person accused of due process because that's what they do. So there is a huge political component in all of these accusations, and everybody should know that. Now, karma, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:20 I don't know. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Again, that's 866-3-2-6-5576 or text bill to 998899. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune in to my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here to cover it from all sides, especially on the topics the mainstream media
Starting point is 00:09:46 won't. So if you're a political junkie on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home, new episodes of the Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day. Make sure you tune in. You can find us at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. but it's out there i kind of hope that dug imoff didn't do it just as a human being i don't know him okay i don't particularly care about homel harris and dug imoff or what they what their life is i don't care all right i i think that she is a danger to the country political because she's so far left, but I'm off. I don't know him. Right. But as a human being, do I want to see that guy destroyed? No, I don't. So I hope that this isn't true. And I'm not
Starting point is 00:10:47 condemning him unless hard evidence surfaces. Because this is a game now, and it puts all of us in danger. We accuse people that we want to destroy. mostly for political reasons, but other reasons as well, money, a lot of money involved in a lot of this accusation stuff, sleazy lawyers all over the place, gin and up stuff, families destroyed, children hurt. This is one of the worst things about our country, the denial of due process. Okay, that's a memo. Now, this ties right into it. So I'm watching the VP debate, and I, commercial political ad comes up, and it smears Donald Trump. It's a disgusting, revolting ad. I'm not going to play it.
Starting point is 00:11:38 I'm not going to run it. I'm not going to even tell you what it was. That's how revolting the whole thing is. So I said to myself, look into this. Who paid for this ad? It was paid for by a man named George Conway. Used to be married to Kelly Ann Conway. In my opinion, he is a despicable human being, this guy.
Starting point is 00:12:00 He hates Trump, but not only that, he wants to destroy anyone with whom he disagrees. He runs a political action committee called Anti-Cycopath. It's devoted totally to destroying Donald Trump and his family. All the money that Conway raises goes to that purpose, and he puts on this revolting political at. Shockingly, Fox News, ESPN, Golf Channel, CNN, MSNBC, News Nation, News Max, Hallmark, and Lifetime, all ran the ad. Why? Why would you run that ad? Everybody knows it's defamatory. Why? There's got to be some kind of standards here. Shocking.
Starting point is 00:13:00 It's blood money. Any company and corporation take money, and they like that, it's blood money. Special Counselor Jack Smith. So he replied to the Supreme Court's ruling that the federal courts, lower courts, have to decide the boundaries between a president's public duties and private duties.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Clearly, the Supreme Court did not want the Justice Department, which is politicized, all right, and it wants the Democrats to win the election. Clearly, the Supreme Court did not want that Justice Department, Jack Smith, to interfere with the vote in November. So they kicked the whole thing back to the lower courts for more definition. In his response, Smith puts out all of this stuff, accusing. Donald Trump of felonies after the election 2020.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Okay. Now, I wrote a message of the day on Bill O'Reilly.com, and I made a few points, and I hope you go there every morning and read it. You don't have to be a premium memory. You don't have to be anything. You go there, there it is. On Sunday, I write a full column. Same thing. You just read it. My message made these points. Jack Smith is a partisan. Okay? He desperately
Starting point is 00:14:22 wants Donald Trump to lose the election, desperately, because he has been pushing and pushing and pushing to get this choke trial underway before the vote. It's obvious. There's no two sides to that story, because you can prosecute if the court's rule, what's the rush, Jack? Okay. Secondly, the election is coming up in four and a half weeks. Smith drops this now to further harm Donald Trump. He didn't have to drop it now. He didn't have to drop his response now. He could have done that after the election.
Starting point is 00:15:09 And he knows, and no just department knows, they're not going to get that trial underway before November 5th. They know that. So this is another danger, right? The lack of due process that we have is a danger. This is another danger. You had the most powerful law enforcement agencies in the world going after a presidential candidate. That's an abuse of power. Now, if Biden had any dignity at all, which he doesn't, he would have said putting it on pause. Because he can do that. Biden gets said to the attorney general, you put this on pause until the lower court's rule. Okay, that's what I want. And Garland won't have to do it. Biden had to, yeah. All right, so that's that. Schedules. Biden is down south with the hurricane stuff. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Got to give him something to do. Harris is in Wisconsin and Trump is in Saginaw, Michigan, as the campaign rolls on. Joe Biden, of course, doesn't answer many questions. questions from the press, but one reporter got to him when he was getting on the Air Force One. Roll the tape. all seven is the G7. Now, that's a foolish statement by Biden. He should say nothing. Okay, you don't say no. We don't want them that Israelis to bomb, the nuclear facility. Why would you do that? For what reason would you do that? What you say is we're negotiating this and we're trying to tamp this war down. But we're not going to get into specifics
Starting point is 00:17:08 about telling governments X and Y. That's the answer. But again, Biden, no blank and clue. And it's pretty frightening because he is going to be president for four more months. In Europe, these violence, terrorism is tamping up. Somebody threw a couple of hand grenades in Denmark, Copenhagen. They got the guys. You know, they're innocent. They're proven guilty, but they have suspects. Then there was a heightened alert in Great Britain, where I will be tomorrow. for the Jewish New Year. So all of the British authorities are a heightened alert. And here, Homeland Security has warned the American public
Starting point is 00:17:54 that terror threats are rising. And it makes sense. Because Tezbulan, Hamas, and Iran are all being hurt. So they're proxies, terrorists all over the world. Okay. They're under orders. I don't know what the orders are, but I know how it works, because I wrote killing the killers.
Starting point is 00:18:16 And if you really want to know the world of terrorism, you read that book. All right. So Iran, the more trouble Iran can cause in Europe and America, the better for Iran. Because they'll say, oh, we didn't do it. All right. VP, debate viewership, 43 million watched it on linear TV. And another 100 million saw it on social media, I'm sure. so very widely disseminated.
Starting point is 00:18:44 CBS had the debate. They got the most viewers, all right, and the others just scattered it up as it goes. ABC News laying off 75 people. The reason I'm telling you this, I know you don't care, is that the corporate media is disintegrating before our eyes.
Starting point is 00:19:05 It's disintegrating. I read an article the other day that the Today Show, in the last five years has lost 50% of its audience. It might be in the last 10 years, but it's lost 50% of its audience. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter,
Starting point is 00:19:27 plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast. podcast, listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week I'll sit down for
Starting point is 00:20:03 candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the President of the United States. These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. And all of them, it's not just a today show, all of them. And the late nights are almost off the air. They're taking the bands away now, trying to cut back, cut back, cut back, cut back. I get a lot of calls from journalists who are trying to find other jobs. And I, you know, I wish I could be encouraging because I know how difficult it is. A lot of people have families and children. There are no other
Starting point is 00:20:56 jobs. It's a collapse. And my organization is prospering because of that collapse. I don't feel that about it because the corporate media is corrupt and we're not but that's what's happening ABC Leonoff 75 this is a very interesting story this comes out of King William County Virginia okay close to D.C. Suburb so West Point High School 2018 there is a teacher French teacher language teacher name Peter Vlaming all right there is a student in his class who is a biological female, but she wants to be addressed in pronouns, he, him, that refer to males. So she tells the teachers, don't call me her, or don't use my name, my given name, I want to be a boy. well lambing said no not going to do it um okay they fire him nice right king william
Starting point is 00:22:16 county fires him schoolboy he sues uh with the help of the alliance defending freedom organization alliance defending freedom he wins all right the county uh settled school board settled for $575,000, goes to the French teacher. And his record of being fired is expunged. And that's a good thing, okay? I don't really care about pronouns or anything like that. I care about locker rooms, restrooms, athletic events. The University of Wyoming forfeited a game to, I think,
Starting point is 00:23:02 San Jose State University because San Jose State had a male who wants to be a female male and a basketball coordinator in Wyoming said, I got to do that. Good. Good. This is way out of control, driven entirely by the progressive movement. Okay, smart life. So last night, as we mentioned, we had a special for premium and concierge members on Bill O'Reilly. dot com, it was a pre-election special where you send in questions to me. And I give you my honest opinion. We did some outside of the election questions too. There was some very, very good questions. About 40 minutes. If you miss it, you can go to bill o'Reilly.com homepage and get it. If you're a premium or concierge member, this is exclusive for you guys. This is perks for you
Starting point is 00:24:00 guys. We're going to do another one last week in October. I might dress up as J.D. Van's a little beard, you know. Anyways, Halloween reference. I want to show you just a little of the interaction we had last night because it was a lot of fun. Go. Howard, Boynton Beach, Florida, a nice town. If progressives are able to take all three branches of government, what are the consequences for the middle class? Massive inflation. That's what's going to happen because progressives will spend. We got $35 trillion in debt in the first two years of a Harris administration go to $40 trillion. I think that's a tipping point for the dollar.
Starting point is 00:24:42 So you'll pay more and more and more and more and more because Harris has no idea about macroeconomics. There's no clue on how to deal with that. Never dealt with it in an entire life. And unlike J.D. Vance who blamed Harris for the inflation, it wasn't Harris's fault. It was Biden's. Biden ordered all of that spending. And Harris had nothing to do with it. But she cheerleaded it.
Starting point is 00:25:06 You remember Bidenomics is great, all that nonsense. Okay. But if she had the top job, yeah, no idea. And the progressive philosophy is spend, spend, spend, tax, tax, tax, and that would just rip through the economy. So it's not going to be good.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Every working in class American will be harmed dramatically. if Harris wins and Congress goes Democrat. Now, the underlying reason for this is vote buying. This is very important. So the Liberal Democratic Party has always done this since the Great Depression, since Franklin Roosevelt. There's another reason why you should read confronting the president.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Ever since then, the Democratic Party, the liberal wing, has said, we're going to give money in a form of entitlements to Americans who don't have very much. And therefore, they'll vote for us in perpetuity because we're the party that gives them money. And that's why we have all these enormous federal programs, food stamps, public housing, on it, and it never ends. And Harris wants to up all that. $6,000 if you have a kid, $25,000 just given to you if you're a first-time home buyer, it's unsustainable. You can't sustain it. Because the Treasury has to print all that money. All right. So you've got to have the dollar in order to give it away.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Once they start to print all that money, the money that's in circulation goes down in value is too many dollars. So that's economics. If you don't have much of something like diamonds, the value is high. If you have too much of something, the value goes down. So people who are working, if their dollar isn't worth, they've got to pay more for what they need, the essentials of life. Now, most Americans have no clue. They've never taken an economics class. They don't know micro-macro-economics, and Kamala Harris is in that category. She is a machine politician.
Starting point is 00:27:22 She doesn't understand economics. She'll have progressives telling her, oh, we've got to do this. Oh, you've got to do that. That's what her whole campaign is. We're going to give it away, give it away, give it away, and take it away from O'Reilly and the other people in America who have money. I mean, taking it away from them, it's Robin Hood, and then we're giving it to you. That has a lot of appeal. That is the main appeal of the liberal left in this country.
Starting point is 00:27:51 And again, you've got to stop it at some point, but they won't. And here's the final point. This is very important. The progressive left, George Soros, these people, again, not Kamala Harris, not Joe Biden. They have no idea. They want the dollar to crash. They want the U.S. economy to go into a depression. Why?
Starting point is 00:28:16 Because then the federal government will take over the entire economy. in an emergency basis. But, of course, they never give it back. And that's what socialism is. The free marketplace doesn't exist. The government tells everybody, individuals and companies, what they can and can't do. All right? So you've got to hire this amount of blacks.
Starting point is 00:28:43 You got to hire and pay this salary. That's what socialism is. no free market, no competition. Government decides. That's what Soros and his crew want. Again, Biden and Harris play right into that, but they don't really understand it. I would say 80% of Americans do not know what I just told you.
Starting point is 00:29:12 80%. But it's true. Now, we hope, You will consider concierge and premium membership on Bill O'Reilly.com. It will enhance your life. It will protect you to some degree. You will be way out in front of what's really happening in this country. We've set this whole apparatus up so it doesn't cost you much money.
Starting point is 00:29:37 You become a premium or concierge member. You get confronting the president's free or any of my other killing books. The best thing you could do for your friend or somebody in your family, give them a premium membership. Then you get a book and all that other stuff. So we are not price gouging. I've kept this price the same. I think it's five years now. Maybe we raised it a few bucks because of overhead costs,
Starting point is 00:30:02 but we've kept it way below what other business is charged for the same service. All right, this day in history, October 3, 1961. The sitcom Dick Van Dyke, remember the Dick Van Dyde show? Well, it came on the air 63 years ago today. Go. All right. Now, where are we in the script? Well, we're just coming out of the last commercial into the good night bit.
Starting point is 00:30:29 Yeah. I see. I suppose our star says, good night, folks. Sure hope you enjoyed our show. And remember, the Alan Brady thought for the day is, drive carefully, especially on the sidewalks. No, no. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Maybe he says something philosophical. Like, folks, remember, save your money. Someday it may be worse something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. It's a good joke. I don't think it's a good joke.
Starting point is 00:31:00 What do you think, Sally? I think it's a great joke. Why do you think it's a great joke? Because it's 5.30 and I got a date at 7. All right, good show, good writing. Carl Reiner behind a classic program. But Dick Van Dyke himself is an interesting cat, as Dennis Miller would say. say. He's 98 years old today. Okay. He's still doing some projects. The Dick Van Dyke
Starting point is 00:31:26 show lasted five seasons. This is a classic, 15 Emmys at one. And then Van Dyke went on to movies, Chitty Chitty-Bang-Bang and Mary Poppins, all of that, Bye Bye Birdie, had a very, very good career and has lasted, stood the test of time. It's won a Golden Globe, a Tony, six Emmys, won and on and on. But here's my Dick Van Dyke story. So I'm at Inside Edition on the anchor and also a reporter. I never wanted to give up my reporting. And the Malibu fires. And this was in the late 1980s or 1990.
Starting point is 00:32:01 I don't know precisely. I forget. But I'm out in the Malibu fires covering it. Okay? And we got a van and we're cruising down, getting video of the flames. And police are there and they're letting the press through to get some pictures. Houses are burned out and all of that. So I go up the mountain, okay, around Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles,
Starting point is 00:32:25 and there's a guy walking down a street, and he looks like he's forlorn. I look over. It's Dick Van Dyke. I go, hey, stop. I pop out of the van. I go, Mr. Van Dyke, Bill O'Reilly, inside a dish, and can I help you? He goes, well, I think I'm going to lose my house.
Starting point is 00:32:46 And I said, oh, that's not. good. Where is it? He goes, it's right up the street. I said, well, let's take a ride up and see what the story is. He gets in the van, all right? We go up to his house, and it was almost a miracle. The whole property was burned, and the flames were extinguished by that point, but they didn't touch his house. His house was intact. Okay? So we get out, walk around, we take some pictures. I interview him, you know, about how lucky he is, this and that. And then I said, where's your car? He goes, well, my kid and my girlfriend or wife or whoever was, they took it.
Starting point is 00:33:26 And I said, so you don't have a car? He goes, no. I said, let me drive you down on the cops. So he gets in the car and we go down at Chips, the California Highway Patrol, which we're here on Pacific Coast Highway, and he gets out, and I go over to the officer, and I go see Dick Van Dyke, I'm Bill O'Reilly, inside addition, and we just come by his house, and he needs some help, and I handed him over to the car. cops. So that was a pretty interesting experience. I run into him 15, 20 years later, in Malibu again.
Starting point is 00:34:00 One of their little swell restaurants they have there, he's there. So I walk over and he knows me from Fox. But he doesn't remember the inside edition thing. And I go, hey, remember there was a guy, tall guy he just looked at me like this and it was an interesting thing he was so discombobulated it wasn't all bill good to see you thanks for saving my butt no he was kind of just gazed like that and i go have a have a good day he should have picked up my meal but anyway that's my dick van dyke story back with a final thought in a moment okay final thought i will be on a plane tonight from JFK in New York always a pleasure to London Heathrow I'm going to watch the New York Jets Minnesota Viking game on Sunday with a couple of pals taking my son but I basically
Starting point is 00:35:07 what I'm doing in London is showing him where I lived and where I went to school in in 1969, 70. You can take them to the dorm, going to cruise the neighborhood, and tell them some stories about what we were doing over there, a little pub lunch, and we're cruising, cruising London. He needs to know where his old man got so smart. Now was a turning point in my life, that third year abroad experience in London. I left the United States in September of 1969. a thug and I came back in May 1970 a lesser thug like I acquired a little culture but boy that was a game changer I really opened up a lot of different things for me as a historian you know the Imperial War Museum in London is the
Starting point is 00:36:07 finest museum for history I've ever been in it's an elephant in castle If you go over there, you get the tube to Elephant and California. That is an incredible museum.
