St. John's University, Queens, says, no more Columbus Day for us, we're not recognizing Columbus Day.
All right, so that's insulting to Italian Americans because that's, you know, what their day is, Italian heritage.
The mistake that St. John's makes, and most liberals do, is they equate the man with what the man did.
If you go down in history and you read my book confronting the presidents, most,
well, maybe not most, but very few of our presidents were flawless people.
They all did bad things.
Jefferson, Washington held slaves, on and on.
But you are honoring the man's achievements.
So Thomas Jefferson, bad guy.
read confronting the president is not a good guy but what he did benefits all
Americans today so you honor the achievement Columbus all of the explorers okay
they weren't interested in the indigenous people they wanted to steal as much
stuff as they could steal if they get back to Spain or other European countries
that's what they were in it for but Columbus going in those three
rickety boats and coming over and charting the new world as an achievement.
That's what you honor, not the individual. Enter Kamala Harris. So, and there's a reason
I'm attaching her to Columbus. On October 12, 2021, she does what she always does,
caters her speeches to the far left. Go.
Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation for tribal nations,
perpetrating violence, stealing land, and spreading disease.
We must not shy away from this shameful past,
and we must shed light on it and do everything we can to address the impact
of the past on native communities today.
Oh, how woke, huh? How virtuous.
And you know what she's talking about?
Talk about reparations. So what a sound bite.
Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation. Yeah, they weren't
indigenous people friendly. No way they were. But it was history. That's what they did.
Nobody says it was good, but Harris takes it a step further.
And if she's elected president, this is what you're going to say.
She wants, quote, okay, to address the impact of the past on native communities today.
And of course, you would extend that to African American communities to Chinese communities
who were exploited building the railroads here in America.
Everybody would get reparations.
money and the federal government because of what these guys did in the past.
No.
No.
She's in this up to here, Harris.
Not going to say it on a campaign trail.
Not going to say it.
This is what you're going to get if you vote for her.
A far left progressive view of the world.
I owe Native Americans, African Americans, Chinese Americans, Hispanic Americans,
Hispanic Americans, gays, trans, I owe them, I got to pay them.
No, I don't owe them anything other than treat them fairly with dignity, which I do.
And I'm honest.
You read Killing Crazy Horse?
That is the most honest book about what happened in the Native American wars.
You read Killing the Witches, you read Confronting the President.
You won't get more honest, but you don't bring it in and punish innocent people.
Today, hardworking people are taking their money and then giving it to people whose ancestors
were abused in the past.
And on that note, mine were by London, by the British crown.
They seized the land of the O'Reilly family in County Cabin, starving them, starving them.
And they had to come to America, or they would die, and the patriarch did die, James O'Reilly.
I visited his grade.
That was in the mid-19th century.
So what am I supposed to do?
Go over to the House of Commons now and say, hey, you owe me for this land.
You owe me for all the deprivation that you did.
No.
No.
What they did was wrong, all right?
But I'm going to forge my own way out of it.
I'm not going to punish some British miner someplace by causing his taxes to rise.
And that's what's going on here.
It angers me to a level.
where I really have to contain myself because it's so stupid.
You're not honoring Christopher Columbus as a man.
Okay?
He's guilty of exploiting the indigenous people in the Caribbean.
Guilty.
But what he accomplished is what we remember.
Is that hard?
Kamala Harris, dangerous.
dangerous dangerous person
