We've been talking a bit about the Democratic primary for mayor coming up in June.
And Andrew Cuomo is ahead in all the polls.
But Bill Marr doesn't think that Cuomo's going to make it.
So on his podcast, Mar's podcast, he's got Chris Cuomo and his brother, obviously,
and he's talking to him, roll the tape.
I don't think he's going to get past the nursing home thing.
I mean, I read the New York papers.
When the Times and the Post are both on the same page,
it's, you know, and, you know, I'm sure he, of course he wasn't trying to do something bad,
but just like with the Hankseth thing almost, you know, you kind of have to own,
politics is a high wire act.
You know, Andrew's leading in the polls for a reason.
It's not name recognition.
It's because when people look at their experience living in the city,
they believe he's someone who can make it better.
And that's true.
He's got authority.
So Amar is wrong and Chris Cuomo is right.
In my opinion, and I'm guessing, but it's an educated guess.
Cuomo is not going to lose to Mayor Adams.
Now, again, we always say this.
Curtis Slewa's got a shot, but he's got to raise an enormous amount of money
and get blanket the television airwaves with advertisements.
And they've got to be tough, really tough.
So I assume that Curtis is trying to do that right now.
But if you're going to Vegas, Andrew Cuomo, the odds of him being the next mayor big.
Okay?
And yeah, he wasn't my favorite governor.
at all. I think he did a lot of bad things in Albany, Andrew. A lot more than people think.
I mean, he was the architect of this insane criminal justice collapse in the state and city.
He was the architect of it. Cuomo did it. Not only the nursing home COVID, you know,
the other personal stuff I don't care about, there's a lot of uncertainty, let's use that word in that.
But there's no uncertainty in the fact that Andrew Cuomo signed radical left laws about criminal justice, about abortion, and many other things.
He was an absolute radical left governing guy.
And I don't want that.
But the guy knows what he's doing.
And he'd be light years better than Mayor Adams, because Mayor Adams, with all due respect,
does not know how to run this incredibly difficult city.
He doesn't know.
And that's obvious.
I mean, he's not as bad as the Blasio.
I've said this.
I'm sorry to be repetitive.
Blasio is the worst ever.
But I can't see anything that Adams has improved.
In the three and a half years, he's been there.
And if you have, let me know.
