Starting point is 00:00:24 Number one based on publicly available data on competitors' customers. Plans vary. SMS available as ad-on. Visit MailChimp.com. Big mayoral primary next week. You ready for it? Cuomo will win. But a lot of TV spots for Zoran Mamadani, the Socialist from Queens.
Starting point is 00:00:46 You know, he's an interesting guy. Very photogenic, good on TV, presents well. He is a self-proclaimed socialist. Okay? And he actually is a member of the Democratic Socialist. of America, New York City chapter. Okay? And he is about as radical a candidate for mayor as has ever run.
Starting point is 00:01:14 And I'm looking back at some anarchists. And I mean, this guy's a piece of work. So he's currently serving as a New York State Assemblyman in New York's 36 district, Queens. And I said this last week, and people who vote for him. him, I've pretty much given up on the capitalistic system. They want it torn apart. They don't believe they can compete. They want government entitlements.
Starting point is 00:01:40 I'm generalizing, but, you know, I don't think I'm wrong at all. I need to vote for a guy like Mamdani who says, hey, look, you know, I don't, I'm not going to uphold any of this business stuff, we're going to wipe it all on out. So he's called for defunding the police. That would be great in New York, right? No cops. Hates Israel. He thinks they're a bunch of fascists and perpetrating a genocide in Gaza.
Starting point is 00:02:15 He supports removing ice entirely from New York City. He wants to raise New York City's minimum wage by $30 an hour. that would drive every small business out of here there be nobody left you can't pay people 30 bucks an hour you know you're a bodega come on um so look this guy's a loon but he's got money you know the far left they they they've got cash and they're pumping it into the tv spots and he looks like oh look at this guy's not that bad so anyway he's going to lose because African Americans are supporting Andrew Cuomo. That won't change, and that's a huge constituency.
Starting point is 00:03:06 We're basically looking at a city now in New York that is pretty much out of control. And it took a while. De Blasio, eight years, Adams, four years, that's 12 years, away from Bloomberg, who had some discipline. And of course, Giuliani at the turn of the 21st. century and the city no matter what they tell you is a very difficult place it's not safe in many areas i mean the bronx is absolutely out of control it's got corruption across the board a lot of things happening behind the scenes that people don't know about congestion through the roof debt huge and it remains though the most powerful city in the world
Starting point is 00:03:59 That's really interesting, isn't it? So I recently was in Tokyo, bigger city. Tokyo doesn't pale, it's just not even close to New York. And then I was in Beijing, China, much bigger city than New York, and not. Beijing is powerful because the government there is so menacing, but it's not powerful because of commerce or anything like that. New York in the free world is the place. And that's why people continue to come here at a very, very.
Starting point is 00:04:29 high level but the working people are moving out and the stats of the stats but if you have far-left governance more and more and more Cuomo is not going to be far-left loon but he's not going to write many wrongs in my opinion I hope I'm wrong about Andrew Cuomo I hope he rehabilitates himself if he is elected mayor now Curtis Leewa has a chance It's if Mayor Adams runs on a third party ticket, which he says he will, and siphons off a number of votes. So Sleewe's a Republican, can't get him out. But it looks like Cuomo will be the next guy. And you can hope, but that's what it is at this point, because nobody knows what Mr. Cuomo would do.
