Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News from Monday, April 22nd, 2004, stand up for your country. Want to wish all of our Jewish viewers and listeners all around the world, a happy Passover. And I'm very sorry about all the anti-Israel and some. anti-Semitic action here in the USA. It's not acceptable. We're going to get into it a little bit tonight. And it's just a shame this stuff has to happen. No real reason for it. But again, I'm going to get into a very precise analysis coming up. But the Talking Points memo this evening, we're going to begin with this amazing, and I don't use that word a lot, political weekend.
Starting point is 00:01:00 So we had four bills voted on in the House, all fairly controversial. And I just want to run them down and tell you what happened. So the first bill was $26.38 billion from the USA to Israel for their security. Now that passed 366 to 58 in the House. You know, the House of Representatives basically saying, okay, we understand the Israeli situation. there are our strongest ally in the Middle East. So we are going to allocate 26 billion plus. Then comes Ukraine. Now this is, yeah, it's, the vote was pretty much the same, a little bit less, but it's more controversial. So we're sending $61 billion to Ukraine, mostly weapons,
Starting point is 00:01:51 but some humanitarian aid as well. And the far right does not like this, okay? The far The far left doesn't like the Israeli aid, but I'm going to mean the names in a minute. All right, so the far right does not like that expenditure, the $61 billion going to Ukraine. The vote was $311112, no. Then there was the Indo-Pacific Security Supplement Appropriations Act, which is basically giving nations close to China some money to develop themselves. It's only $8 billion, okay, but it passed 385 to 34. And the final one was the TikTok bill and sanctions on Iran, freezing assets of Russia. That was 360 to 58.
Starting point is 00:02:45 So those are the four bills, all pass. All will go to the Senate now. Senate will pass them, and then Biden will sign all four. So it's a fade-up complete. Now let's take a look at the Ukraine bill. All right, so the hard right in the House, Marjorie Teller Green, Lauren Bober, Chip Roy, Matt Gates, Andy Biggs, on and on and on. They do not like this expenditure. They believe that the United States should not be funding the Ukrainian war.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Okay. Now, they're perfectly, that's a position they have the right to take, and the voters of their district will decide. As a historian, I know this is a foolish vote against AETU. Ukraine because it's almost exactly like 1938 when the far right in America didn't want to bother Hitler. Okay? So understand that. Far right in 1938 in America want to be isolationists. So what some people don't understand is that America is the world leader. And that's not going to change no matter if you don't want it or not. Now I will understand that spending is out of control, which is why we need a balanced budget amendment in Congress. There's no doubt about that.
Starting point is 00:04:02 $34 trillion debt, come on. But if you allow Putin to win in Ukraine, and that means control the country, you're going to pay 10 times more than $60 billion the first year, because Putin's just going to cause trouble in all of the former Soviet republics, all of them. They'll just go in, he'll do the same thing, you'll undermine, and then the world will be in economic chaos. Everything is intertwined today. Our economy is good in America right now. Okay, inflation's terrible. Thank you, Joe Biden, but the economy is good. People are working. You get wars everywhere. That's going to change fast, and it's going to come to your house. But these hard, right people don't seem to understand. Or they disagree with me. Okay. Okay. So that's tolerable. You can disagree with me,
Starting point is 00:04:56 but I'm right. Okay. I know Putin. I know what he wants. He wants to destabilize the whole world and reimpose Russian domination in his former Soviet districts. That's what he wants. Why is he in Ukraine anyway? Hundreds of thousands of Russians dead? Am I. There's no reason to there? No benefit to you, you war criminal. All right, so that's that. I just have a disagreement with these people. I don't tie it into border security. You're never going to get border security under Joe Biden. No matter what they pass, no matter what executive war, it'll never happen. He's got to go, Biden, in order for there be border security and immigration law enforced. He's not going to do it.
Starting point is 00:05:48 All right, Israel. So it's the same crew, the hard right, Biggs, Bobert, Gates, Taylor Green, Roy, same crew. But they're joined by the squad, the far left nuts. Okay, Cascio Tortez, Omar, Tali, Presley, Bowman, Bush, the same. They just don't like Israel. Okay, they don't like America, and they attach America to Israel and vice versa. So they don't want any money going over there. I'm going to use one soundbite. I, I, I, I, debated on doing this, but I'm going to do it. This is Congresswoman Green. Go. Last Monday was tax day, April 15th. And Washington betrayed the American people by sending $93 billion to support foreign wars while doing nothing, absolutely nothing to secure our border. That is a complete betrayal. I, you know, I don't know what to say. Okay, I want border security. You want border
Starting point is 00:06:46 security, not going to happen under Biden. The two are not intertwined. You're not going to blackmail Biden over Ukraine. He's not going to enforce the border, no matter what you do. And again, to alleviate massive problems in the world down the road, you've got the blunt Putin here. Now they say, well, what's the end game? There is no end game. It's a matter of if Trump is reelected in November, Trump will get Putin to. to the table, they will make some kind of an agreement, which will probably be Putin keeps some Donbos in some areas. But if Biden wins, Putin will just keep going. That's pretty much where it is. Okay, that's the memo. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt
Starting point is 00:07:39 rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Starting point is 00:08:32 Again, that's 866-3-2-6-5576 or text bill to 998899. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you, to turn into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here to cover it from all sides, especially on the topics the mainstream media won't. So if you're a political junkie on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home, new episodes of the Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day. Make sure you tune in.
Starting point is 00:09:10 You can find us at Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. Joe Biden, Earth Day, goes to Virginia to talk about Earth Day. All right. Okay. It's an interesting story. So Michael Douglas, Kirk Douglas' son. I know, or I knew Kirk Douglas, I corresponded with him, and I know Michael Douglas. And I like them. I like them.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Very respectful and intelligent and all that. They're fervent liberals, both of them, the late Kurt and Michael Douglas. They understand who survive in Hollywood. You have to be a fervent liberal. You really can't survive in that industry, the entertainment industry, if you're not. So Douglas goes on CNN and says this. So you and Biden are about the same age. Do you think, you know, are you one of those people who wished he had bowed out,
Starting point is 00:10:12 and let the field choose somebody else? How do you think about that? Well, I think that I walk a little similar to him. And the people that I've talked to and everybody that I have say he's as sharp as attack. He's fine. We all have an issue of memories as we get older. We forget names, something.
Starting point is 00:10:35 He's overcome a stutter in his life. Sharp as attack. Okay, number one, as hearsay, he doesn't know Biden. Number two, apparently he's not watching the news, Michael Douglas isn't. But really, this is what he wants to believe. We go back to people believe what they want to believe, all right? And the people who are supporting Biden, they want to believe that he's right on top of everything. He's got no cognitive problems.
Starting point is 00:11:03 It's Fairyland. If you have eyes and you see the President of the United States on the road, You know, I wrote a column called Zone of Comfort, and I said, one of the sentences in a column was, Biden needs a cheat sheet just to wish you a nice day. The man cannot articulate anything. He's sharp, his attack? What kind of attack is that, Michael? But I don't hold it against him.
Starting point is 00:11:33 I'm not mad at him. People believe what they want to believe. That's it. I can go back to Ukraine. The hard right is never going to believe that allowing Putin to take over that country will lead to chaos in the world. They won't believe it, no matter what you do, no matter how many historical lessons you put up there. Trump trial opened today. Nothing much happened because one of the jurors got a toothache and he had to leave.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Everybody was out of there by 1244 in New York City. you know, the prosecutor's opening statement was Trump did criminal conspiracy cover up, blah, blah, blah, blah, bab, and then the defense lawyer Todd Blanche basically told the jury, look. All these people who are accusing Trump, they're all grifters. All right, Stormy Dan is a grifter, Michael Cohen's a grifter, which is essentially true. And that's what happened today.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I'm not going to get micro into this trial. I will give you the big picture every day. impeccable sources on it. So just keep it here if you want to know the truth. If you want to hear hysteria on hyperbola, then you watch the network news and the cable news. Trump himself urges his supporters to demonstrate against the trial. Here's what he said on true social yesterday.
Starting point is 00:13:00 America loving protesters should be allowed to process front of courthouses all over the country, just like it allowed for those who are destroying the country. on the radical left. Two-tiered system of justice, free speech, and assembly has been chilled for USA supporters, go out and peacefully protest, rally behind MAGA, save our country. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself. Okay, Donald Trump, true social. Joining us now from New York City is a colleague of mine because we both work somewhat at WABC Radio, the most powerful radio station in the world right now.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Rudy Giuliani is the former mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2021. All right, I got lots of questions for you, Mr. Mayor. Thank you for appearing today. I know you're busy. When you were the U.S. prosecutor, the federal prosecutor in the Southern District in New York, before you became mayor, this case against Trump never would have happened, right? Against anyone, no. It's not a case, Bill. I mean, it's not a case in so many different ways.
Starting point is 00:14:09 It's hard to describe. It's a state misdemeanor, which is barred by the statute of limitation, but for the fact that Bragg says it was done in pursuance of a more serious crime, a felony. But that's a federal felony, which he doesn't have the right to prosecute. And the Fed said we're not going to prosecute it. We all know the basis of the case, and really nobody is disputing what you say. We all know this is being done for political reasons. But my question was more, the atmosphere in the city of New York was so much different back when you were mayor.
Starting point is 00:14:53 And you never would have seen anything like this. Am I wrong? No, I don't think you're wrong. I have a hard time believing some of these things are going on, Bill. I get up in the morning and I say, is this really happening? 10, 20 years ago, I would have thought, somebody told me these things were happening. There was some kind of nutty conspiracy theorists.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Plus, they let the crime get back, which I honestly didn't think they could do, not just after me, but after Bloomberg. Well, I'm going to get to that in a moment. But the key question for people who don't live in and around New York City is, what happened? What happened to make a city that was run fairly efficient, at the state and local level, the largest city in the country, to the chaos that we have now.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Is it the people's fault for voting for these far left, like Alvin Bragg? Whose fault is this? Ultimately, it has to be the people's fault, right? They selected DeBosio, they selected Adams. They selected the people who passed the bill in 2019, everybody out of jail. since 2019, 38 cop killers have been released in jail. There are about 7 to 8,000 people on the street right now in New York that if the laws I had in effect weren't changed would be in jail.
Starting point is 00:16:19 So, I mean, that's a simple explanation. So it's the folks voting for people who are having destructive policies that are boomeranging back on the same folks and hurting everybody. Now, you could run for mayor again. I don't know whether you've ever considered that, but you could do it. So let's say you ran for mayor and you won. Could you clean this city up? Or is it beyond repair?
Starting point is 00:16:47 We could clean it up. I'm not sure we could do it as quickly or as completely as before. Because the permanent changes have taken place, even in the electorate. The Democrat majority in the city, although in numbers about the city, same is much more radical than it was it was much more prone to consider republicans to vote for republicans i mean i had 70 percent of the jewish vote i don't know if a republican could get 70 percent of the jewish vote anymore maybe now maybe now and maybe with the changes that i'm seeing in the Hispanic vote in particular and maybe i'm seeing changes in the black
Starting point is 00:17:28 vote i've got to see it first before i believe it It would be harder to do now than it was then. But you could do it, sure. But if you were a mayor, okay, or somebody like you wins next time around, you're still going to have the no bail law. You're still going to have violent criminals, people found with guns, all right, released, you know, hours after the police arrest them. You're still going to have low police morale because the police are disrespected by the city council.
Starting point is 00:17:58 And, you know, you're elected, but the city council, is as radical a council as there is in america they hate the cops they don't want public order they want what they have which is disorder everywhere and fear they want that how do you how do you beat that how do you beat it change the morale of the police pretty quickly by being on their side but i mean the minute i became mayor last time i told them i'm on your side I'm going to, you're going to get the benefit of the doubt. If you have to do something that's tough, do it. I'll be there with you.
Starting point is 00:18:36 I demonstrated that to them two or three times, got my head kicked in politically, but gained the eternal loyalty of the police. They knew I wasn't going to let them get hung out to dry. Then there are a lot of things you can do administratively. You can emphasize smaller crimes that you know are going to net you a lot of really bad people. Like when we went and got the screechy guy, Branton and I, half of them were wanted for violent felonies. So if you really understand law enforcement, you know where to go to make your arrest. That's true, but they're back out on the street
Starting point is 00:19:16 in hours and the criminals look upon the criminal justice system in New York. Is it a joke? Is it causing you doing business? I appointed 100 judges. It's going to take a while, but over a period of time, if you give me four years, I'll put 40 or 50 new judges on, and that won't be happening. Plus, the minute the judges know, the mayor is going to... Remember when Koch used to have those press conferences, I just copied them. When a judge did something wrong, you'd have a big press conference, he'd rip the judge apart.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I used to do the same thing. I just copy Koch. It works. Now, you and I stood out for three hours at the funeral of Detective Diller, four weeks ago on Long Island. You and I were there. Adams was there. He didn't stand out with us, but Letitia James, the Attorney General, New York did. Did you say anything to the Attorney General while you were standing there? Oh, I didn't. And I know it too. I mean, I know it for a long, long time. I didn't say anything to her because I was not sure I would, I'm not sure how I would have
Starting point is 00:20:26 handled it. I mean, I consider her kind of like beyond the pale for having run as a hitman, basically. I mean, she ran for attorney general just to prosecute one person. He's a terrible attorney general. He's destroying the system of justice than me. Very, very hard for me to deal with her objectively. And I was glad we never. That's a good point. I, she acknowledged me. I acknowledge you're back, but I didn't pass any worse. Adams is trying to walk a tightrope between the far left and the people who want to be safe. Is he succeeding? No. You can't do it. Right now, at least on the issues we're talking about the economy, quality of life, and crime, you've got to be single-minded. And you can't put up with all this nonsense.
Starting point is 00:21:22 When I came in, Bill, I introduced workfare. I required everybody on welfare to work. At the time, I got Hillary, New York Times said I was running a plantation because most of them were black. And I just laughed at it and said, you know, I'm going to have to go through this. Now, he would change it if they did that to him. He can't. He can't. Yeah, I don't, I mean, I want more from Mayor Adams than I'm, than I'm, that I'm,
Starting point is 00:21:50 getting. Let's go national here. If you had to do it all over again, would you have become the point person for the election fraud cadres? And I'm asking that because that boomerang back on you in a horrendous way. It has punished you financially court of public opinion. Would you have done it differently had you, if you could get a do-over on the election fraud? don't think i could bill i don't think i had the choices to do it different would i do it again sure would i do it differently uh some different strategies maybe yeah maybe i would have gone to the legislator first and not wasted the time in court i didn't realize how dead set against us the court would be and i thought the worst decision we made was to litigate some of those cases i thought the
Starting point is 00:22:43 best decision i made was to pull from the courts and to go to the legislatures where we now have a historical record of the treating they did because I was afraid this thing would be buried for history and remember I had just come out of their censoring the hard drive which I knew was accurate as hell being accused of being a Russian agent and every newspaper agreeing with that so I realized we didn't have much room to to litigate but I had more confidence in the courts than I should have And I like the strategy of going to the legislature. The court strategy unfortunately backfired, and it was a waste of time. Well, not only a waste of time, but it wreaked destruction on your whole life.
Starting point is 00:23:31 See, I said very, very quickly that this whole fraudulent allegation thing should have been handed over to Attorney General Barr, and he should have, at Trump's direction, appointed a special time. counsel to look into the voter fraud coast to coast. Now, that's what I would have done. Trump and Barr did not do it, instead relying on you and Sidney Powell and other people who got killed in the process. And I think that was a major mistake. I think the only way you could shed light on this with 50 states being in charge of their individual vote count, the only way would be.
Starting point is 00:24:18 a massive federal investigation. Am I wrong? You're right, that'd be the best way to do it. We were not going to get that. You remember, I knew. Why? You had a president and an attorney general sitting there.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Why wouldn't you get it? All Trump had to do was to tell Barr appoint a special counsel. Bar didn't do it. Fire him. We had an attorney general that was sitting on the hard drive. Well, fire him then.
Starting point is 00:24:44 He got chunk of a fired bar. It was something seriously wrong with Bill Bartow, we didn't realize. You don't sit on that hard drive for a year. The hard drive proves about 100 crimes against Joe Biden. It proves that Trump never should have been impeached in the first place because it shows the reason for the impeachment. All right. So you're in the weeds now. People don't know what the hard drive says, and it hasn't been. It's a very complicated situation. But my solution is very easy. Trump picks up the phone. He tells Barr we're going to have a special counsel.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Barr says, no, I don't want it. Barr is fired because ultimately Barr quit and Trump appointed another guy in there. I mean, there was thought of firing Barr. He didn't want to do it. He didn't want to fire a bar. Okay, that was a huge mistake. Huge. Well, maybe in retrospect it was.
Starting point is 00:25:35 But, I mean, the reality is maybe the reality is that there's a accountability here by Bill Barr that's being completely ignored. Okay, but that's always going to be the case. because he can make his own case and my investigators did that did that that that did that all right well I got one more thing here I've known you for I don't know it's got to be 35 years I felt bad or feel bad in the present tense for what's happened to you and and financially I mean this has cost millions of millions dollars for you to defend yourself so you have a website I want you to tell folks what it is if they want to help you out but I think you were at
Starting point is 00:26:15 target that the far left in the federal apparatus wanted to make an example of you and they have they brought you know right i'm going to fight back i'm going to continue to fight back and if you want to help me you can do it at rudy juliani c s dot com very simple that's where you can get me c s c as in cat essences and sam yes for common sense Rudy Giuliani. One word, your name. Dot.cs.com. Is that what it is? Plinyc.s.com. Okay. That's easy. Common sense. All right, Mr. Mayor, we appreciate it. Thanks for appearing, and we know you're very busy. Thank you again. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Okay. Let's go to Israel, anti-Israel protest. So this, I got to set this up. I lived through the Vietnam protests, and that was what I call organic. And I'm going on News Nation tonight at 7 o'clock to explain why this anti-Israel stuff isn't like Vietnam. And you remember in a Vietnam, it was just millions of protesters all over the place. Some of them were sincere, some of them were not. But I, even back then, when I was a dopy kid, all right, I wanted information. And the information that I got about the Vietnam War came to me through my peers in Levitown, Long Island, New York, who came back from Vietnam. And I had a cousin who was a war hero.
Starting point is 00:27:53 And I got what was going on over there, and it was not good. And we write about this in confronting the presidents because it was Lyndon Johnson's fault. Anyway, those protests turn the tide of the war and it changed American culture. You all know that if you know your history. These anti-Israel protests are different. This is based on hatred. But it's not these college students who are out there don't know anything. They don't know what is in play here.
Starting point is 00:28:30 They're ignorant people, but they have signed on to the far left, which is manipulating them. The far left hates America, and by extension, hates Israel. The far left believes that America and Israel are fascist nations that persecute minorities, that we in America persecute blacks, Native Americans, whoever is downtrodden. we persecute them and that Israel persecutes poor Arabs all right people living in Gaza people get the poor Arab they've stole their land it's an identical thing so the far left hates and I mean hates with a capital itch Israel and that's what this is all about they mobilize these useful idiot college students they go out and it's causing a lot of trouble everybody knows that so at
Starting point is 00:29:21 Columbia University which is the Nexus in New York City they had to cancel classes in-person classes today go virtual because these people are just insane. They've suspended four students four. I mean, come on, including the daughter of Congresswoman Omar, who's a radical nut. 119 people have been arrested. Nothing will happen to those people in New York City. All right. And then you go to Yale, which is another lunatic asylum in New Haven, Connecticut, 47 people arrested,
Starting point is 00:29:53 blocking, you know, this, that, you name it. One Jewish person was actually hit with a flagpole, how to go to the hospital, and other places, University of North Carolina, Ohio State, Princeton, Northwest, and Temple, and Harvard, same stuff. The radical that mobilizes these people. Now, the press, which is not smart enough to understand
Starting point is 00:30:17 what's really happening here, and wouldn't tell you the truth anyway, all right? They're going anti-Semitism, anti-Semitism. Not so much anti-Semitism. These college students don't hate Jews and mass. Some of them do. Some of them certainly are anti-Semitic, but most of them are just foggy leftists who are being manipulated.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Okay? They don't really know why Israel was established, the history of the strife there. They don't know any of that. They don't know Hamas from Hezbollah, Sunni, from Shiite. They don't know. And they don't care. because this is fun for them.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Just like the Vietnam war protests, for some people, were fun. They could use drugs, they could wall around in the mud, they got dates. You know, I mean, I hate to be cynical, but that is the truth. Okay? Now, the colleges themselves, look, it's not hard. You give them a right to assemble someplace and say, you stay there, you don't say there, you're expelled. That's it. Okay?
Starting point is 00:31:23 I'm the college president. Here's your place to demonstrate. You hurt anybody you're expelled. You trespass out of that place on college property. You're expelled. That's all. Goodbye. Right?
Starting point is 00:31:37 Then it's over. And the municipalities, when they're marching around blocking the bridges and the tunnels, it's the same thing. You're charged with a felony. You've got to get a lawyer. And we're not letting you out. You're going to be detained. In New York, you can't do that.
Starting point is 00:31:51 But in Connecticut, you can. Yeah, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. Starting point is 00:32:53 and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. Planned Parenthood. This is the biggest scandal I think I've ever, no, it's just so big. All right, plan, parenthood. 2020, 23 last stats. 400,000 abortions. 400,000 abortions. 400,000. were arranged by Planned Parenthood. 97% of the women who came into Planned Parenthood with pregnancies they didn't want went to abortion mills.
Starting point is 00:33:40 3% did not. No adoption, none of that. Okay, why does Planned Parenthood do that? Because they get paid to do it. That's where they make their money by aborting fetuses. And in addition to the private funding they get from the abortion doctors and all that, they get $700 million taxpayer dollars a year. Now they say, oh, no, no, we don't use that money for abortion.
Starting point is 00:34:16 What a bunch of bull. We use it for, you know, pap smears and health. We don't use that taxpayer. An investigation into that, which will never happen under Biden or any democratic regime. But you should know that your tax dollars are going to this horrendous outfit that makes money by aborting fetuses. FBI. So you remember that in Virginia, in Richmond, Virginia, they sent out FBI agents to investigate Catholic people who were pro-life. You remember that story.
Starting point is 00:34:54 The FBI was investigating them. They might be domestic terrorists, all that. Okay, nothing ever came of it. But there was an inspector general for the Justice Department investigation into what the FBI did. And now the report is out. You didn't hear about it. Of course, the media is not going to, and it says, quote, Our review did not find evidence that anyone in the FBI ordered or directed analysts to find a link between racially motivated violent extremists and any specific religion or political affiliation, including Catholic Church or that there was an underlying policy direction coming from such a link. It's all bull. All right, this whole thing is just bull. And it's because the FBI is now a political organization.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Now, I've got to give them props because it's split. They do protect us from terrorists pretty well. But they take orders from Attorney General Merrick Garland. And it's not Christopher Ray, the head of the FBI, should have been fired a long time ago. He's a Trump appointee. The guy is the same thing with Comey. They're politicians. They're not law enforcement.
Starting point is 00:36:18 agents? Anyway, they clear themselves. Smart life. Okay, so you know that Bill O'Reilly.com, we have a lot of different corporate activity. Starting point is 00:37:50 Okay, so the New York Times breaks a decent story, good, that reveals 23 top Chinese swimmers in the Tokyo Olympic Games four years ago were on dope. I didn't know that, did you? I didn't know it. They won, nothing happened to them. They got their medals, and they were on dope. And now there's fears that the Olympics begin July 26th in Paris.
Starting point is 00:38:15 The Chinese are going to be doping again. Okay, I wonder what the testing is now. Not surprised at all. This day in history, April 22nd, 2014, a blow to affirmative action. Stay with me here. Supreme Court 10 years ago ruled that because the voters in Michigan voted on not having racial preferences in hiring and college admissions, okay? they, the state had to uphold that.
Starting point is 00:38:51 All right, Supreme Court said, quote, is demeaning to the democratic process to presume that the voters are not capable of deciding an issue of the sensitivity on decinerational grounds. Freedom embraces the right and deed duty to engage in a national civic discourse in order to determine how best to form a consensus
Starting point is 00:39:07 to shape the destiny of a nation and its people. So you cannot have hiring and college admissions based on race in Michigan. and most other states. But the colleges get around it. Diversity, okay? Equity, inclusion. They get around it.
Starting point is 00:39:29 So now there have been lawsuits. One against Harvard, one against West Point. Because they're going, you know what they're doing. You know. But 10 years ago today, the Supreme Court said, uh-uh, uh-uh. if the voters of a state say no affirmative action in hiring and admissions, that's what has to happen.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Okay, I've got a pretty good mail segment and a final thought that will amuse you. We'll be right back. Okay, mail, mail, mail, mail, mail, Virginia Luce, and over New Hampshire. Mr. O'Reilly, love Bill O'Reilly.com. Listen to you, explain everything, so I can understand it. You're interesting and very succinct. Thank you. I appreciate the compliment of Virginia. My question, where does all the money come from that we give to other countries? It comes from Congress, which are lots of budget. And then the actual money comes from the Treasury Department. They send the checks. Okay. In the case of Ukraine and Israel somewhat, we'll send actual weapons. Okay? But once our money gets into a foreign country, we don't have audit capabilities.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Always remember that. Peggy Davis, Philadelphia, the main concern of voters and Republicans in Congress are on giving money to Ukraine is that they are demanding there be accountability. There's not accountability anywhere. It's foreign aid. What are we going to do? set up firms to look at how they're handling the aid, and not only for USA, but, you know, NATO and all of these countries, parnade in there, blunt Putin. Terrence, as they say, the witches in Salem got a fairer trial than Trump in New York.
Starting point is 00:41:20 It is a witch trial. It is a witch hunt. He's right. Vicki Jordan O'Fallon, Missouri, longtime fan, respecter of yours, Bill. I am a constitutional conservative with a biblical worldview. Where do I fit in? You've got plenty of company on that one, Vicki. Plenty a company.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Most conservative traditional Americans are straight down the line constitutionalists and the religious-based Bible people. Very common in the USA. You're not a minority. Mary Beth Lowe, Elgin, Illinois, I'm a premium member. your final thought on April 18th made me think that I too was put on earth for a reason. I would not want to change places with anyone. I believe I was put here to be a mom to my two sons. My older 25-year-old is nonverbal and autistic. He is my blessing. Nobody can take care of him the
Starting point is 00:42:15 way I do. I thank God for giving me my two boys. You know, your letter almost made me cry, Mary Beth. That's how noble a person you are. Kenneth, Bill, I respectfully disagree. Compassion in business can come back to bite you. That is my experience. Okay, you can get hosed if you're compassionate. Doesn't mean you shouldn't be. Does it?
Starting point is 00:42:42 Okay, go to Bill O'Reilly.com. Mom's Day's coming up. We got the mugs. She'll love. And by the way, if you have the not woke mug and you take a picture of it, send it to me. I will use it if you want. We'll do a little montage. for people holding up they're not woke mugs.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Want to send a message? Not woke, not woke. Word of the day, no, Delosity. D-O-L-O-S-I-T-Y-Y. Good word. Delocity. We don't want that. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town, if you wish to opine. Back with a final thought at the moment.
Starting point is 00:43:17 All right, here is a final thought of the day. Saturday I went to the Nick game. They beat the 70s sexers. Good game. And I felt sorry for Joelle Embed who's hurt. is a phenomenal player. If he can't play, and I don't think he can at full strength, the Knicks will win that series.
Starting point is 00:43:33 Anyway, I'm sitting there behind a guy, and I didn't even know it was him named Alexander Soros, the son of George Soros. There it is. Okay? And he's looking not at the game. He's looking at his machine. Now, I'm glad I didn't know that was Alexander Soros,
Starting point is 00:43:54 because I might have said something too. him, particularly because the NYPD Honor Guard was there for to sing the national anthem. And Soros and his father undermined police all over the country. I didn't know it was him. I'm kind of glad. I think I might have gotten a technical foul if I had. And I've been on Saturday night. Thank you for watching and listening to The No Spin News. We'll see tomorrow.
