Hello, Riley here, welcome to the news for Thursday, May 15, 2025, stand up for your country.
You know, one of the big problems we have in the USA is a lack of unity.
We all know that.
I guess the height of our assemblage was World War II.
99% of Americans were united to defeat the totalitarians in Germany and Italy and Japan.
But now, I don't know, it's a 60-40 split, 60% traditional Americans, 40 don't like the country very much.
they're on that side that is basically everything needs to change. So anyway, there are opposing
points of view, and that's a good thing, but they're not respected as much as they used to
be. And one of the reasons is that people believe what they want to believe, and we'll get into
that in a moment. But there's another big reason why this division is taking place, and that is
delusion. Many of us in America live.
in a delusional bubble, not in the real world. We don't want the real world. We don't want to go
anywhere near the real world. We want to take narcotics. We want to drink ourselves into a
stupor. We want to believe stuff that's insane. And we seek it out. We don't want to deal
with reality. That is a very difficult situation to overcome, and that is the subject of
this evening's talking points memo. So, again, people believe what they want to believe.
And you know them.
I know them.
During my life, not close to me.
I can't deal with delusional people, but on a periphery.
And you could go in with ten facts, and it'll just, don't even listen.
No, no, no, no.
You know them.
There's nothing you can do.
And maybe you can get them hypnotized, but there's nothing you can do.
So I've come to the point in my life where I don't have to try.
Okay, you want to believe that?
You go believe it.
It's not true, but I did it.
all I can do. Also, there are a lot of people who just don't care about what's true. It doesn't matter
to them. Now, I was raised in a home where there was a right and a wrong. And then I went to
Catholic school where there was a right and a wrong. I was usually in the wrong, so I experienced
that very vividly. But now we don't live in that world right and wrong anymore. Traditional homes
have it, but secular homes don't. It's like, oh, well, whatever you want to do is fine. All right.
Now, once you get into that world, then if you act out, you can hurt people. And I'm going to
give you a very good example of this. So yesterday, Robert Kennedy Jr., the Secretary of Health
and Human Services testified in front of the House Appropriations Committee.
There are a bunch of radical leftists in the audience, and they don't like Kennedy, they don't like America, they don't like anybody.
One of these radical Americans, the guy named Ben Cohen, that's Ben and Jerry's, I'm sure if you follow politics, you know, he's a far-left loom.
Okay, here's what happened.
Go.
Thanks.
The witness will suspend.
The committee will come to order.
Capital police are asked to remove the individuals from the written to the members of the audience are reminded disruptions will not be tolerated.
No, Congress pays for bombs, guilt, and gossip.
Okay.
That's anarchy.
Those people ever got control, they're being massive violence.
They kill you if you disagree with them.
And my opinion, but I've seen it throughout history.
You're irrational.
You live in that far.
And you could be on the right, too.
You could be Adolf.
Hey, hey, he's great.
We love the Nazis.
Holocaust didn't happen.
Same thing.
No difference.
But we see it played out more in America on the far left
because the media accepts the far left,
it doesn't accept the far right or even conservative Americans.
Okay, so later on, Mr. Cohen appears on NewsNation with Cuomo.
Go.
It didn't really have anything to do with Bobby Kennedy.
What it had to do with is that Congress has been cutting money for Medicaid,
the health care for poor kids, and they're using the money they save doing that to bomb
other poor kids in uh gaza and and now uh you know there's there's this uh they're halting all the
food aid that's going in so they're starving the people of gaza that's just insane all right
so run down the facts and i'm only doing this as an intellectual exercise i don't care what ben
cohen says i would never buy any ben and jerrys even though they don't own it anymore they
I don't want anything to do it. Okay. So there have been no cuts in Medicaid because that bill
hasn't passed. They want to reform the waste because it's totally out of control in that program,
but there's no cuts, okay? There's no cuts for health care for poor kids. In fact, entitlement
spending is at all-time high. All right? American money is not being diverted from our entitlement
programs to Israel so they can bomb poor kids.
Okay, that's about as fallacious a statement as you could possibly have.
Israel's defending itself against terror attacks from Hamas.
Amos lives in civilian areas in Gaza, and children have gotten hurt in the crossfire.
Every war that's happened.
I'm not justifying anything.
I'm just telling you what the facts are.
Okay?
So Israel's supposed to say, oh, yeah, come on.
You attack our people, you kill our children.
We're not going to do anything because you're hiding behind your children.
And that's what the mouse is doing.
But always not.
Okay.
So Cohen is delusional.
He doesn't care.
And then he raises a very interesting question.
The United States, he says, is helping the bomb, or actually bombing, killing the kids.
Here are the facts.
You will remember, and this story died fast, but I've resurrected it today.
You remember President Biden allocating millions of dollars, 230 million to be exact,
to build a platform in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Gaza, to get food to the hungry
people there.
Remember that story, okay?
It went nowhere.
They built the pier.
It operated for 20 days.
then devolved into chaos. Sixty-two U.S. servicemen were hurt because of terrorist activity over
there. Sixty-two. They couldn't get the food to the Ghazan because the terrorists, Hamas,
stole it. As soon as it got from the platform built into the sea, into the mainland,
the guys that the machine guns came out, took it all. Ben know that? Hey, Ben, you know that?
that's why you can't get any food in there because Hamas steals it that's why they're starving
now the united states Biden tried to do something and of course it was a fiasco because everything
under Biden pretty much was a fiasco uh the goal was to feed a half million people each month
for three months they didn't get any food in there to speak of all right and then it took a thousand
U.S. forces to evacuate the people who were in there trying to feed the gossans because they would
have been murdered. That's what happened. No reportage on it. Biden, uh, are you Biden saying anything
about it? No. My cat Freddy loves to be brushed and cuddled. But stirring up his cat
allergens meant sneezing and itchy eyes. Then I found Purina one live clear. It's cat food that

So actually, the intent was noble to get food to starving people, but Biden couldn't carry it out.
It couldn't carry out anything.
nothing
and that's what happened
so
when I hear this irrational
stuff and I say I'm giving you
one very clear example tonight
it drives me
crazy because
this is surging in America
this kind of crazy stuff
this is what's going on on
on college campuses
well they're starving
the U.S. government's bombing
in poor kids they're starving
about that's what's going on at
Harvard in Columbia
And if a guy like me walks in with a sheet of facts,
then they're going to hate me.
And it won't believe anything.
And that's a memo.
We don't know where President Trump,
we know he's sleeping in gutter in Doha,
but we don't know what he's going to do tomorrow.
I think he's going to come back
because there's nowhere else for him to go at this point.
But it's been a successful Gulf trip economically for him, I believe.
Now, there was supposed to be peace talks between Zelensky and Putin and Turkey.
That's a fiasco.
There are Russians and Ukrainians there in Turkey, but they're not meeting together.
Zelensky showed up.
Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, was supposed to show up, but he's not going now, because Putin didn't show up.
So this is nothing.
It's nothing. It's arrogant and Zelensky and, you know, but there's no, Putin doesn't want to ceasefire.
So I didn't know that. And Trump certainly didn't know it. I thought that Putin would come around, you know, when the West offered him money and stuff like that. I thought, you know, you lost, you're losing hundreds of thousands of Russians dead and wounded in there. You're not getting anywhere. The world hates you.
I thought he'd come to him, but he didn't want him.
Now, ultimately, the only thing that's going to force Vlad to the table is if we punish him more,
we being Europe and America, and that's what we should do now.
So Trump should go back to Washington and send him all the weapons he needs.
EU will send him all the weapons he needs, NATO, and then we'll slap more sanctions on Putin.
You won't be able to do banking business, and we'll just make it as painful possible.
That's what you're going to have to do.
Putin does not want to solve this.
They don't care if people die.
When you read my book Confronting Evil,
which will be out in September,
you'll see that all these people have that in common.
All these tyrants, all these evil do.
They don't care if they don't die.
They don't care.
As long as they're not dying.
Okay.
Supposed to be another meeting tomorrow.
Steve Whitechoff is over there.
Who knows?
But unless it's a miracle,
we're going to have to punish flat.
And we should.
Supreme Court, back here. Fascinating case.
Fourteenth Amendment says that all persons, all, A-L, in the Constitution, that are born on
American soil are American citizens.
It doesn't say you have to be illegally, doesn't say anything about that.
All persons born on the soil get American citizenship automatically.
14th Amendment passed in 1868, and as you probably know, it was passed because of slaves.
And they were citizen-less.
Slaves weren't citizens in the South during a civil war.
They were emancipated, and then they became citizens, but it was all murky, so they had to have the 14th Amendment saying,
look, if a black baby or any baby born on U.S. soil is the citizen.
And they did.
It passed it, 14th Amendment.
Well, now the Trump administration doesn't think that is good for the country because there are
somebody undocumented people here, 15 million at least, they're having babies, and President
Trump's going, we're rewarding illegality. They shouldn't be here by granting their offspring
citizenship. So it's in a Supreme Court. Isn't that an interesting, fascinating case? In order to,
overturn the 14th Amendment, you would have to get two-thirds of the House and the Senate to
okay it. And that'll never happen because there's not one Democrat that I know of who would
vote to overturn the 14th Amendment. Not one. And even if it did happen, then you have to go to
the states and two-thirds of the states would have to ratify it. That's how hard it is to get
rid of a constitutional amendment. So it can't happen. And the Supreme Court can't just say,
I'm waving the wand and this constitutional amendment is gone. You can't.
So the Trump administration is going to lose.
It knows it'll lose.
But it wants to bring this to the attention of the nation.
And it wants to try to get some regulations involved here.
But I can't see any fundamental overturn of the 14th Amendment.
Just our system.
Gavin Newsom running for president.
He told you this earlier this week.
And he sees an opportunity because there's no competition on the Democratic side for him at this point.
So, Newsom, I mean, talk about a hypocrite.
This is hypocrite number one.
And I don't even know Newsom, okay?
So earlier he says he wants all the homeless camps to be dismantled in California.
Well, what took you so long?
You've been governor for six years.
Well, you know, it costs to state billions of dollars.
destroyed San Francisco and other cities. And all of a sudden, you're enlightened, you want the
homeless camps dismantle? It was a public safety problem then when it started six years ago,
and you were a governor when he came in, still a public safety and public health. You can knock
it out in a second, under the law. Now he says, we're going to freeze health care payments
to the undocumented. Remember, California is the biggest undocumented population.
in the country it spends more than five billion dollars
california spent five billion dollars giving free health care
to illegal aliens and their families okay
so now news and goes oh we're going to stop that roll a tape
so here are the solutions uh five billion dollars on a freeze on our
medical expansion we're not cutting or rolling back those are enrolled
in our Medi-Cal system, we're just capping it, particularly for those with documentation.
They're not cutting. They're cap. It's what you weaseless guy is. So what you do it five years ago?
Why do you do it? It's so ridiculous. All right. So in addition to that,
California is the highest deficit of any state. It is the largest state of the union.
about 40 million people with that and has a 12 billion dollar year deficit so it's broke essentially
it's broke here's the newsome says about that go california is under assault the united states
of america in many respects is under assault because we have a president that's been reckless
in terms of assaulting those growth engines uh has created a climate of deep uncertainty
and certainly has California in his sights.
So it's Trump's fault.
It's Trump's fault that California has a $12 billion a year deficit.
Okay, Democrats, this is what you are?
This is what you're going to put up.
J.D. Vance got to be the happiest guy in a world.
You've got to be the happiest guy in the world.
Yeah, bring it on.
Unbelievable.
Okay, smart life.
There are a lot of things involved with having a smart life,
and one of them is actually being smart.
Now, how do you get smart?
You got to learn stuff.
That's how.
Okay?
I wasn't particularly smart when I graduated from college,
and that'll play into my final thought.
I wasn't dumb.
I mean, I went through rigorous schools,
but I, you know, I was a dopey young man, I would say.
But I read like crazy.
I read everything I could get.
And I started to learn and learn and learn and learn and learn.
And then I went to grad school and got a master's degree in broadcast journalism.
And then I started my career.
And every story I covered, I learned from.
So I got, I built myself, my smart life up to a point where I was admitted to Harvard.
Okay?
And it wasn't easy to get into the graduate program there.
Now, I'm going to start Bill's book club with all apologies to Oprah.
Oprah started the Oprah Book Club.
Oprah goes for the kind of weepy women's kind of thing, self-help.
I'm not doing that.
I'm going for the information books.
So there are two out now I want to recommend you.
The first one is Mark Twain by the historian Ron Chernow.
Now, if you've ever read Chernow stuff, he is a brilliant historian.
But Mark Twain book is 800 pages.
I got it sitting on my shelf over here, and I'm going, do I have time to read 800 pages?
And the answer is, I don't.
I don't have time to read 800 pages.
But I'm going to read some of it.
And not only is about Mark Twain, but it's about the 19th century.
And I want to learn a little bit more about what happened between after the Civil War and Teddy Roosevelt.
There's a little bit of gap there.
Now I wrote Killing Crazy Horse, and that fills in a lot of it.
But I'm going to look at, but I know I'm not going to get through 800 pages of that.
But it's worth me having it around.
And I have, in my library, a book on Machiavelli owned by Mark Twain.
And Mark Twain wrote notes inside the book.
So I've got a connection with Mark Twain, who's,
name was Samuel Cummins, of course. Second book is The War for America, for Ty Condorogar
to Charleston, 1777 to 1780, faded the day. Now, Atkinson is really a good historian, okay?
But again, big book, dense book. He's writing three books about the Revolutionary War. This is
the second. I will read this book, okay? It's on my nightstand. I'm going to start it. I
I've very perused it, but I'm going to start it in earnest tonight.
I'm going to read that book because I wrote Killing England.

I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce
One.
Every week I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors,
lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the president.
of the United States. These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world.
Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever
you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode.
Okay, and I want to know where, Atkinson is much more detailed. See, my books are 300,
3010 pages, and they whip through. It's like, boom, all right? So you get an idea. All the essentials
are in the book, particularly with confronting the presence. We do every president. And that's about
400 pages, but boom, it's lightning. These books are much more deliberative. They will make you
smarter. You will know things that most people don't know. And that's what I want to get into
in the Smart Life Bills Book Club.
But if I read a book that's really entertaining
and doesn't have that much,
I'll recommend that as well.
Comedy.
And this is part of Smart Life, too.
So I need, I wrote a message of the day
about this book, Let Them,
which has been number one for like five weeks
by Mel Robbins, a self-help book.
And I don't read self-help books
because I'm beyond help.
And that's why I wrote the message of the day.
if you want to check it out.
But another Mel is a guy that I is desperate.
I'm desperate to see what he does.
And that's Mel Brooks, because he's the funniest guy.
The producers and Young Frankenstein, you want laughs?
Those two movies.
I know, I know Blazing Saddles, that's a little crude for me.
But boy, the producers, Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder, and Young Frankenstein.
So I got to have laughs.
So I was looking at the comedy landscape in the United States.
Most comedians are left-wingers, but that's changing.
There's a guy named Nate Burgos or something.
And I looked at it.
He got a pretty good set.
Clean, not particularly political.
Jeff Dunham, the guy with the puppets, fantastic.
That guy is so talented.
But they're not liberal.
And I started this.
I'm taking credit for the non-liberal comedy surge.
So I want to show you, I want to back it up, as we always do, October 7th, 2015, Dennis Miller and O'Reilly.
Go.
Now, Trump, I got him a bumper sticker that said, by other plane is Air Force One.
And he'll be the only guy who's going to be president and Sleming it on the plane.
Bernie Sanders, I'm sending him a bill for half of what he has.
Because if we're going to go down this row, he wants way more than half.
He should start it then.
Give me half your stuff, Bernie, and we'll go from there.
And I don't mean any of that bad pomade on what's left of your head here.
Biden, speaking of bad head hair, I got him an 8 by 10 of William Proxmire to remind him while his plugs are bad.
William Foxmarker.
I haven't heard that name in about 30 years.
All right.
So Miller and O'Reilly, a huge hit.
Okay, we went on the road and we had a lot of fun.
And Miller's doing very well out in California.
you. I think he's semi-retired now. So after that, then you had Gutfeld on Fox. You know,
a very successful program at 10. He's very right-wing. You still have the liberal guys late
night. You got Colbert. He's not even a comedian. I don't know what he is, but I don't know
what he's doing there. Kimmel, yeah, he's funny, but he's very left too. Fallon doesn't care
about politics. Fallon just wants to be in the band. That's all he wants to do. But if you were
watch late night TV, it's 90% left wing. Guess and point of view and all of that. But on the
internet, no, there are more and more, more traditional conservative comedians. One of them is a guy
named Jeff Ahern out of California. Roll of tape. One book is even by former CNN anchor and Biden
sycophant Jack Taper called Original Sin. It details the cover up of Biden's cognitive decline.
Jack, you're one of the people covering it up. Watching you,
hunt for the killers of honest journalism is a little bit like watching O.J. Simpson hunting for
the killers of Nicole Brown. Another of the new books claims Biden needed a makeup artist on foreign
trips, not for TV, but to liven him up for in-person meetings. You know, so he didn't look like
he just rolled out of the coffin. Well, if you can put lipstick on a pig, why not rouge on a
corpse? It wasn't every meeting, the less important ones, they kept him closed casket. Well,
when a puppet needs to last four years, sometimes it's best to keep him in a box. You
Yet through it all, the mainstream media showed their contempt for viewers' intelligence,
making excuses for the president and saying he was in great shape.
Come on, he needed a Sherpa to get from one side of the stage to the other.
Yet many Democrats still use the mainstream media as their only news source,
which begs the question, who is more far gone?
Joe Biden, or those who, for four years, were willing to believe that he wasn't.
All right, Jeff Ehren joins us now from,
Glendale, California, outside of L.A. He's a host of news on the day on Rumble.
See, I don't even know what Rumble is. I don't know. Roku, Rumble, Toku, tofu.
But I know that you're pretty hot. But you've been around 30 years. You've been around a long
time doing stand-up. Have things changed in your industry? Oh, yeah, very dramatic.
You used to be able to just go out and do jokes and people would laugh and, you know, it's pretty easy.
You know, you just do your act.
And then I live in California, so there came a time, you know, probably, I don't know, I'd say seven, eight years ago,
where you literally couldn't say anything that was not narrative friendly.
And if you did so, the club owners wouldn't book you.
You would have to play out of state.
Other comics would, you know, kick you out of the group, so to speak.
And the thing is, a lot of them held the same exact beliefs that you did, but they were afraid to say it.
So it's often interesting to meet when someone is a leftist comedian.
Are they really leftist or are they leftist for the work, so to speak?
All right, let's get specific, though.
You've worked with almost everybody.
You know them all.
You work with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
You can't get more awoke than those two.
Can't get more left wing.
When I did my gig on Saturday Night Live, I walked in.
I thought that Amy Poehler was going to throw up when I showed up.
I mean, the look I got, like, what the job?
reduce who let him in and why is insecurity dragging him out both of those women are about as far
left as you can get now when you interacted with them do you have any problem no no when i when i
interacted with them i was um you know i was i was on the left too i was i was an idiot this is you know
when i was a moron in my 20s and i was just like oh yeah yeah whatever what are we supposed to do you
know i just took instructions i didn't think for myself and then i got to the point where i started
thinking for myself and i'm like what am i doing this is a terrible
idea you know what what do we uh what do we let in uh criminals out of jail free for what are we hiring based
on race for what you know to end race all these things basically everything that the left had as a
narrative point you'd look at intellectually and be like this is insane was that a st paul moment
was that a saint paul moment like lightning hit you or did that evolve over a period of time
it i wish it was like a spontaneous like lightning strike no it evolved over time
where i just one more thing after another after another after another i'm like you know i don't
actually think for myself. I just sit here and I just do what everyone tells me I'm supposed to
do. If I actually analyze this and then it got to the point where I'm like, well, now, where do I go
to get my news sources from? Because it's all basically just left his dribble. But here's my
dilemma here. I know what you're saying. But a lot of these people are very, very smart. Okay.
So Kimmel is no idiot. But he is so deeply ingrained. But it helps him.
Because if you are a conservative comic or a traditional comic, your job opportunities in these corporations are far fewer than if you're left. Isn't that correct?
Yeah, they're almost non-existent. It's the status quo. And I feel like a lot of these comedians, I don't know. I think Kimmel is a leftist. But I feel like they've gone so far forward in that direction. There is no turning back. They've got to keep going.
No, for them, there is a. But remember, Kimmel was.
on the man show. Yes. Okay. And he was not a raving lunatic on ideology back then. He was funny.
And he was way politically incorrect. He wasn't. I mean, my God, what the guy was doing.
But anyway, so the industry in Hollywood has not evolved, has not changed. And I'm taking the
three Americans concept out now with Stephen A. Smith and Chris Cuomo and me, which is a really
good concept. It's funny. It's sharp. It's this. It's that. But when we go out to talk to these
people in Hollywood, I mean, they're living in a totally different world than the world that you

you get your podcasts. No, they're in an insulated bubble. And it's kind of, you brought up
Newsom, and it was shocking to me when I heard what Newsom's speech today and how he's literally
literally pivoting. He's trying to become a Republican. He's trying to. Well, he has to.
He wants to be president, but that just shows you who he is. It just shows you who he is.
Now, one of the guys who helped you do what you do, and I should mention that you do five
days a week political commentary, that's a lot. And you can find a Jeff on Rumble if you know
what Rumble is. That's just it. Nobody knows that Rumble is.
Well, anybody under 50 knows, you can find it. Anyway, the,
The, what, there was a turning point before Gutfeld.
Gutfeld was a big turning point.
He made a ton of money for Fox doing the right-wing human.
Yeah.
But Norm McDonald.
Oh, I love Norm.
Norm McDonald was the first one who really say, you know what, this is a bunch of bull.
I'm going to play it straight as far as looking at the world the way it is.
Am I wrong there?
No, Norm was ahead of his time.
And it was just, that's why everyone loved Norm
because he just didn't care.
If you told him not to do something,
he would do it even harder.
But his point of view,
and I got to know Norm before he died,
was very sharp.
But he just rejected the insanity on both sides.
Final thing, you see a guy like Bill Maher,
who's really the only one now at that level on HBO.
And HBO is a very left wing.
organization. Oh, for sure. He goes to see Trump, Marr, and says good things about Trump. The vitriol
directed at Marr, unbelievable, unbelievable, right? They know they know they're losing it. And
Mar is just a flaming firework example of just how bad they're losing. He's even like coming
over to our side because he's like, enough, enough. I can't do it anymore. Enough. Well,
don't think he's coming over. He's not because he knows where his paycheck comes from.
tipping his toe in the water.
You know, he's just going to mark, but the things he's saying.
He's a contrarian.
Yeah, he's a contrarian, that's for sure.
But he'll stay where HBO wants him to stay.
He will.
All, Jeff, we.
When you get something that you feel is ridiculous,
I'm not just on the left, though, but just absurd.
You let us know, all right?
So I'll kind of treat you a little like Miller.
I'll actually treat you better than Miller because I,
right made fun miller all the time um you let us know and we'll pop you right in we wish you the best
and uh thank you for helping us out tonight oh i had a great time bill thank you okay uh
harvard president says taking a 25 percent cut because trump's cutting him the money to harvard
his name is alan garber 70 years old he's just recently been appointed the president
because of the chaos up in cambridge he's probably making about one two a million two
that's what i figure he's making uh he says he's going to take a 25 percent cut
cut. And Harvard, you know, I hope they wise up. I do because they're not going to win against
Trump. You're not. I mean, if Democrats elected after, okay, but you're going to have a bleak
three and a half years. Stay in history, May 15, 2020, just two years ago. And everybody's
forgotten. Special counsel John Durham issued his report that said, essentially, the FBI
was crooked in investigating the Russian collusion accusation. Quote,
FBI used raw, unanalyzed, and corroborated intelligence to launch crossfire hurricane into Trump and Russia, but use a different standard when weighing concerns about election interference regarding Hillary Clinton.
This is the FBI, so they were crooked, according to your door.
Okay, and I'll remind you, one of the men who was behind that Clinton-Russian collusion stuff was a guy named Mark Elias.
The attorney was glorified by 60 minutes just two weeks ago.
Okay, so Durham prosecuted three people. Two were acquitted. One pled guilty. Got nothing.
And that was the big investigation, two years, $55 million. John Durham issued his report two years ago today.
Okay? We got a very, I think, important final thought, at least for the O'Reilly family.
We're right back. So this weekend I got invited to the Nick Celtic game on Friday night.
I got invited to the Met Yankee game on Saturday night.
I can't go to either, breaking my heart.
Why?
Because my son is graduating from Salve, Regina, University in Newport, Rhode Island.
He got a three-nine his last semester out of four.
He is so much smarter than I am.
In every way, it's unbelievable.
I keep asking, really my son?
Anyway, I'm so proud of Spencer O'Reilly.
He's my wingman.
He's going to be going with me to China, Japan, South Korea in our upcoming trip.
And he got into Georgetown University.
He's going to be taking a master's in American government.
I'm predicting right here, Spencer O'Reilly will be president of the United States someday.
Now, I know, I know you're hooded.
I know you're throwing your slippers at the television set or the radio.
This is a very smart, honest kid.
Boy, boy, very proud.
Yes.
I wanted to tell you all that.
I don't do a lot of that stuff.
You know I don't.
But a very special weekend.
And even though I'm missing Mets Yanks and Nick Celtics,
nowhere else I'd rather be, but it's Alvda, Regina, after that.
graduation. And it's an excellent school, by the way. Have a great weekend. We'll do a Sunday
column for you. See you on Monday.
