Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News, Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, stand up for your country. Well, we are in a unique position broadcasting to you because we do it two ways. I analyze the news through the eyes of a journalist, my formal training, but also through the eyes of a historian. And I don't think there's anybody else in the American media doing that on a regular basis
Starting point is 00:00:42 right now. So tonight we are going to use history as our lead, but of course we'll bring in the journalistic stuff as well because we have a lot of facts to give you. And the talking points memo deals with both of them. So there are some warnings about the progressive movement and Vice President Harris. Not many, but some. And we are among those. So most Americans were surprised that President Biden governed so far to the left,
Starting point is 00:01:21 because, as you'll remember, 2020, portrayed himself as a moderate who was going to bring the country together. Well, that's not what happened. Okay? He was under this way of far-left people in the White House, and that's what he did. So, historically, Mr. Biden deceived the nation.
Starting point is 00:01:48 He said he was a moderate, governed as a progressive. Simple. Provable, no doubt about it. All right. Now, Biden himself, in my opinion now, doesn't care about ideology at all. He is not a fanatical, radical leftist. He cares about power and money, Joe Biden. And if he has to fit into the progressive ideology to acquire power and money, he will do that. Kamala Harris is another matter, as Dennis Miller once said, and I quoted him in my column on Sunday. The vice president is a different cat. So if you follow her career, she is a committed leftist, never deviated from that.
Starting point is 00:02:42 She'll tell you as Attorney General in California how tough she was on the cartels. There's no record of that at all. She'll tell you that, you know, people were afraid of her, the criminals. There's just no record. She was a competent attorney general for a liberal state like California. She did what the machine, the Democratic machine, wanted. That's all. And the people in California, obviously, were pleased with that because they sent her to the Senate.
Starting point is 00:03:15 All right. Now, in 2019, Waila Senator, GovTRAC, G-O-V-T-R-A-C-K, ranked Kamala Harris the most liberal senator in the entire body of 100 senators, stunning Bernie Sanders-Elizabeth Warren. I mean, if you're going to outflank those two on the left, you've got to know where you are. All right, no pushback from Harris on it. He was more than happy to take that designation. And when I look at her now, I see entirely different person. And you do too, if you watch your television ads. So millions of Americans, they don't know about Kamala Harris' record in California
Starting point is 00:04:04 and four years in the Senate. They don't know anything. They don't really care is what they see and hear on TV, social media, and all that. And the Harris campaign is basically positioning her as a moderate, just like Joe Biden. And she wants to bring everybody together. Roll the tape. I believe very strongly that the American people want a president who understands the importance of bringing us together, knowing we have so much more in common than what separates us.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I pledged to you to be a president for all Americans. No, that's not going to happen if she wins. I mean, conservative Americans, traditional Americans, are going to be hammered. I mean, just for example, Kamala Harris believes, in her heart, again, separating her from Biden, who doesn't have any beliefs, she believes that minors under the age of 18
Starting point is 00:05:00 should be able to get an abortion without their parents knowing Not going to bring Americans together? No. She will go after affluent Americans and businesses, trying to take as much money from them in a variety of different ways as she can. Not going to bring new country together? No. And I could give you 20 more things.
Starting point is 00:05:33 All right. So I am sounding the alarm that what the Harris campaign is putting out there, just like what the Biden campaign put out there, is deceptive. Now, you're not getting that analysis in a lot of places. What you're getting is ideological analysis from the right, saying that she's the devil and she's far left and this and that. but they're not honing in on the strategy. There are two that are, me and the Wall Street Journal. So yesterday, the journal editorialized, quote, this is about the Biden and Harris administration.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Most ominous is the collaboration of these menacing regional powers into a new anti-Western axis. Iran supplies missiles and drones to Moscow, which may be supplying nuclear know-how to Tehran. China is aiding Moscow, which now joins Beijing in naval maneuvers. North Korea also arms Moscow while being protected by China from the United Nations sanctions it once voted for. All of this and more adds up to the worst decline in world order and the largest decline in U.S. influence since the 1930s.
Starting point is 00:06:56 yet Mr. Biden continues to speak an act as if he's presided over an era of spreading peace and prosperity, unquote, September 23rd. Kamala Harris has cheerleaded that entire thing. She has not given any specific solutions to the rise of Iranian power because Biden downgraded the sanctions against. Iran, and we've seen what happened. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver. Tharu, the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious medals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage gold IRA. They'll even help you
Starting point is 00:08:00 roll over your existing IRA or 401k, tax and penalty free. With billions in precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau, you can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-55-7576 or text bill to 90. 998899. Again, that's 866-326-5576 or text bill to 998899. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, lawmakers, and even the president of the United States.
Starting point is 00:09:00 These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. All right. The rise of Hamas and has will. law in aggressiveness, Putin's invasion of Ukraine, and China is basically trying to take over the whole region. We have heard not one thing from Kamala Harris about that, because she's not
Starting point is 00:09:39 interested in that. She's interested in promoting socialism or socialist tenants in the United States. That is her primary interest. Okay. So this week, the Defense Department announced sending more U.S. troops to the Middle East because war there is a very real possibility. I mean real war between nations. I don't think that's going to happen. I don't think Iran wants its ports bombed and wants all its oil tankers sunk, which is what Israel would do to it. So I don't think it's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:10:18 but the Defense Department is moving U.S. personnel into the area. That's under Biden and Harris. So many Americans are so clueless about geopolitics. They have no idea. They don't watch this broadcast. They don't listen to me on the radio. Don't read my books. They live in a cyber world.
Starting point is 00:10:44 I talk about deceit, my God. But they're comfortable living there. They believe what they want to believe, based on nothing. Those people are going to vote, and that's what the Harris campaign is counting on, that they'll see the television airs and go, look, look how nice she looks. Look, yeah, she's not, boy, I'll tell you. So let me wrap up the memo. Vice President Kamala Harris is the most radical presidential candidate in history.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Worse than Eugene Debs, D.E.B.S. Look them up. It's not even close. The most radical leftist candidate in history. I know what I'm talking about. You know confronting the president. It sold more than 100,000 copies in less than two weeks. Okay, I know what I'm talking about. Nobody even approaches her. Do you think all these people who are supporting Harris know that? only a small sliver do and that's dangerous and that's the memo all right to schedule as joe biden spoke at the u.n. 79 session today and here's a short clip go people need more than the absence of war they need a chance a chance to live in dignity they need to be protected from the ravages of climate change hunger and disease, our administration has invested over $150 billion to make progress and other sustainable development goals. It's standard issue, blather, you know, we need to protect people from the ravages of climate change. That's not going to happen. Not to say we shouldn't have a cleaner planet, we should.
Starting point is 00:12:38 All right, but you can throw trillions of dollars and it is not going to matter. In fact, the Biden-Harris administration has run up the debt in three and a half years, $7 trillion a month, unsustainable, and the people that depend on Social Security, on Medicare, on Medicaid, the states, which is largely funded by the federal government. It's coming. You can't spend this much money on a theory. And that's what's happening. Biden has to Medicaid doesn't know. He didn't write the speech. He just got there, rehearsed it 10 times and then read it. Donald Trump today is in Savannah, Georgia.
Starting point is 00:13:19 I hope he takes in a Savannah banana game. They're the best. Love those guys. He's talking about taxes. Okay. But Trump said something very interested yesterday at a rally in Pennsylvania. The John Deere Tractor Company wants to move from Iowa. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:36 It's an Illinois-based company, but it wants to take its plan in Iowa and move it to Mexico. That's just appalling. Mexico is our enemy. You don't understand that, John Deere. So Trump goes, hey, you do that. I'm slapping a 200% tariff on anything you make in Mexico and try to import into the U.S.A. Good.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Good. Gay, Mexico, enough with you. Kamala Harris, very unusual, did nothing again today. painting. That's five days straight. Nothing. Very, very strange. I can't permeate that I can't get through the wall. I don't know what's going on there, but something is. And tomorrow she's back out. All right, she goes back out. Okay, so a few weeks ago in California was a very interesting occurrence. A former state senator, okay? In fact, she was the Senate majority leader in Sacramento. The press conference and said, I'm switching from the Democratic Party
Starting point is 00:14:51 to the Republican Party and I'm going to vote for Donald Trump. The woman's name is Gloria Romero. She joins us now from Malibu, California, not a bad place unless there's a fire. She's author of the book, just not that likable, the price all women pay for gender bias. So your life must have been lively the last few weeks. Caught a lot of people by surprise your announcement, right? It did. But I think people who know me, and especially some of the fights that I've had with Sacramento to get back to some sense of normalcy and representing the working class and the middle class in California. I don't think they were as surprised as many others. Okay, but you're a powerful Democrat in a state that's overwhelmingly Democrat. We're also a contemporary of Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 00:15:42 I want to get into that in a moment. But when you say you're going to vote for Trump in California, that's like voting for the devil. I mean, have people shunned you because of that position? In politics, you have to have a thick skin, and I do, believe me. So yes, there have been some smears, you'd be surprised I've had a number of Democrats and others who have reached out to me to say, hey, we applaud what you did and we're kind of thinking about that too, although maybe not as public. There's been a massive walk away from the Democratic Party given the leadership of Gavin Newsom and in a state that was represented by Kamala Harris. Well, California's in disarray.
Starting point is 00:16:26 I mean, you're paying the highest prices for a gallon of gasoline in the country by far. People are leaving, and for my money, California's most beautiful state in the union. I've been every county. I mean, I've been up in the Lessons County. I mean, it's just a fabulous place to live, or it used to be. But now the government, the Democratic government there, wants to control everything that people do. They don't particularly care about solving problems. All you have to do is go to San Francisco and look at the mess that city's in.
Starting point is 00:16:57 education is declining because they won't, the unions dominate, you won't throw over charter schools and all that. It's just on and on and on and on. Okay, so when did you first meet Kamala Harris? I was in the California State Senate. I believe I first met her when she was district attorney and then later ran for attorney general. But one of the first interactions that I had with her is when she came to the Senate Public Safety Committee, which I then chaired, she was interested in running a piece of legislation, getting support for a bill that would go after truancy. Now, on the surface, this might sound good. But what was interesting was that she was focused on going after mostly these would be low income, probably mostly African-American Latina mothers whose kids were, I I'm going to say trapped in chronically failing schools in California around which when she became attorney general, she did nothing about. In fact, if we look at those statistics, even today, Oakland schools, her hometown, 75% of Latino
Starting point is 00:18:14 and African American children are not reading at basic levels of proficiency or doing math. And she exacerbated these chronically failing schools by going after a court victory. It was called the Vergara case. All right. So what you're saying is that she put up some truancy bill, but she wasn't interested in the underlying causes of the failed education, which are gangs and teachers are afraid, particularly in Oakland, which is totally out of control. Now, on balance, watching her and correct. me if I'm wrong, Ms. Romero, you know a lot more about your state than I do. I see a machine politician. Somebody who was elected in San Francisco as a district attorney based on her connections
Starting point is 00:19:05 with Willie Brown, former Speaker of the House in Sacramento, former mayor of San Francisco. They had an association, let me use that word, okay? She got into the Democratic machine. she's very articulate, and then she's just kind of moved on up, like the old sitcom The Jefferson's. Am I reading that wrong? No, you have a perfect readership on this. It basically isn't. I mean, party politics dominate the most powerful force in the Democratic Party in California is the California Teachers Association to which she hitched herself in going after the Truant Mothers
Starting point is 00:19:47 as well as basically trying to defeat that case that I described at the Supreme Court level. She is the one as Attorney General who went after the parents and the kids who had won that victory to shut them down, thereby. So she did the bidding of the union and put together a coalition of the willing. One of her pitches is she was very tough on the Mexican drug cartels in California. We can't find any evidence of that of. all, none. There's no evidence.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Okay, I'm glad you said that because I don't want to be wrong. She prosecuted cases that were brought to her by state and local authorities, but she didn't do anything unilaterally to fight this terrible menace that has devastated California. So I'm right on that. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter. Plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the world's politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between.
Starting point is 00:20:54 It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast. Reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the, world of politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here to cover it from all sides, especially on the topics the mainstream media won't. So if you're a political junkie on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home,
Starting point is 00:21:31 new episodes of the Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day. Make sure you tune in. You can find us at Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. Absolutely. And also, if you take a look at what's happening in California today with all of the rampant crime, the smashing grabs, you can't walk into a single like thrifty CVS and not find a barricade of plastic shelves behind which are products for sale. She is the one as Attorney General who wrote deceptively the title and summary of a measure which basically gave rise to this issue of you can steal up to $950 in California and basically not be punished with it. She is the one who made California that summary.
Starting point is 00:22:18 California citizens are responsible too, but you're saying that she was behind the ballot measure, right? Correct. As attorney general, it was a very deceptive summary. That's not really a crime fighter. All right, then she gets into D.C. as a senator. And again, we've investigated her to Senate record. Nothing passed in four years. Didn't do anything that we can see to advance the welfare of the country.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Did she do anything to help California while she was in Washington? there are no results that we can say take a look over here i think it's hard for anybody to do it she's known basically for her going after the supreme court justices for their uh potential appointment to the supreme court but i don't think that her her scrutiny of them is anything to write home about all right but you were the senate majority leader in sacramento and you know when you're a senator you're supposed to bring back some good stuff to your state you see anything good that she brought to California into four years she's in the Senate? I'm sure there was some money that was funneled into California, but there isn't really anything
Starting point is 00:23:24 that she was known for. It was quite clear. When she first was running for the Senate, everybody knew it was going to be a short step, and then she was going to immediately start campaigning for the presidency. There were people who said she thinks she's the female Obama, and that's basically what everybody knew who supported her. She was being fast. a base of support in Hollywood, in San Francisco, in Silicon Valley, very wealthy base of support, right? And that propelled her. Correct. Okay. Now, she gets to be vice president, and again, one of the big issues in your state is the border. I mean, you've got, you know, an imperial county in San Diego County. You got absolute chaos there. Did she do anything to help
Starting point is 00:24:15 California in those two counties? No, in fact, we saw video surfaced with her just recently, basically saying no deportation ever. Even President Obama was known as the Deporter-in-Chief, and you contrast that with her video, basically her saying no deportation ever. All right, so you guys in Sacramento didn't see any improvement, even though she's vice president and was tasked to improve things at the board. Is that a fair statement?
Starting point is 00:24:47 You didn't see any improvement. I don't even see there's no improvement at all. I think what it is, she was not focused on California. She was focused at that time in getting a national name so she could establish herself to run for the presidency. That's really where it was. But I understand that. When you're tasked with improving the border
Starting point is 00:25:08 and you're from California and California's under siege, you would think that there would be something that she would do to help you guys. Okay, final question on her, and then I have one more question for you. So Kamala Harris, who is a very shrewd woman, all right, who's now portraying herself as a moderate that she wants to bring everybody together. When you see those spots, knowing her and her history, what goes through your mind? It's just an artificial construction. It's Hollywood. It's a script. It's a narrative. It's not the truth.
Starting point is 00:25:45 And sadly, I think for most of us who have been in politics and seen this, we've seen how aided by a mainstream media and a very powerful machine that does not want America first, they are aiding and abetting the creation of an anybody but Trump candidate. This is it. They're mythologizing the vice president, so Trump will lose. Do you have any hesitancy at all with your long history? of democratic politics of voting for Donald Trump? Not at all.
Starting point is 00:26:19 I think in looking at it, I think it's very much wanting to restore America first. It is wanting to have a thriving economy. I believe in pathways to citizenship, but this Borders Tsar has completely made a mockery out of what citizenship means with a completely open border. As a woman, I find it extremely offensive that apparently the Democratic Party today can't define a woman.
Starting point is 00:26:43 I'm sorry, but men cannot get pregnant. We don't need tampons in boys' bathrooms. Title IX has been eviscerated, and there has been no comments from Kamala Harris on any of these issues at all. So I'm looking forward to a Trump presidency. There has been a great walkaway, especially among groups like Latinos, of which I'm Latina. Many of us are walking away saying this is not the part of represents us. Trump is doing much better with Latinos. Well, we appreciate your candor, Ms. Romero.
Starting point is 00:27:13 It's very refreshing for somebody like me who's used to politicians being kind of disingenuous. So thank you very much for appearing. And the book, again, is just not that likable. The Price All Women Pay for Gender Vias. Okay, I hope we can talk again soon. Thank you, Madam. We appreciate it. All right, Gallup poll on division in the country, 1,015 adults, not registered voters,
Starting point is 00:27:39 but on a social question, that's all right. Fair Democrat 32, Republican 32, Independent 36, gender, male, 52, female, 48, very unusual. And this is a Gallup poll again. Here's the question. Which statement comes closer to your view? Americans are united in agreement about most important values or Americans are greatly divided when it comes to the most important values. United in agreement, 18% greatly divided 80.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Whoa! Now, contrast that to November, 2000. one two months after the attack united in agreement 74 greatly divided 24 so in 23 years we have gone from a united country to the most divided we have ever been since the civil war gallop poll the judiciary the judge is also dividing the country listen to this Indiana you know Indiana is a red state. So there's a person in there, Jonathan Richardson, who wants to be a woman, okay? And he wants us to pay for it. And he wants to have the surgery in the ACLU sues, all right, the Department of Corrections in Indiana. So this guy can get his gender operation.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Well, what is he doing in jail? He murdered an 11-month-old baby. All right, serving 55 years. An activist judge named Richard Young has ruled that taxpayers in Indiana have to pay for this killer's trans surgery. This guy was appointed by Barack, I'm sorry, by Bill Clinton, and he is a loon, this judge. It'll be overturned, but this is horrible. That shows you the division. What do you think Kamala Harris had come down on that? I think we all know.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Okay. Now, one of the things that I have emphasized here on this broadcast is that you need three things in your life to prosper. You need a good financial advisor. You need an attorney. You can get on the phone who cares about you, but most of all, you need a doctor who cares about you. So the Cleveland Clinic, very fine. If you get in health trouble, Cleveland Clinic is someplace you should look at. They put out a survey.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Listen to this. 37% of Gen Z, that goes up to 27 years old, men, Gen Z men, do not have a doctor. 37%. Millennial, 2843, 27%. Gen X, 4459, 17 baby booners, seven. So, a substantial minority in this country don't have a doctor. They don't go to get examined. 61% of Gen X and boomers get a yearly physical.
Starting point is 00:30:52 32% of millennials in Gen Z do. Okay. Do you want to die soon before your time? Ignore the doctor. Period. Smart life. Insurify. Get your pen and.
Starting point is 00:31:08 I always say pen and pad when you're watching the no-spin news. Insurance rates, it's just, it's nothing like I've ever seen in my lifetime. Insurance companies gouging, it's crazy. Crazy. And the reason is that during COVID and with some of the storms, insurance companies that payout, now they're trying to make it up by jacking everybody's insurance rates on home and car, which you've got to have, way up through the ceiling. So we have found a website, all right, insurify.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Now, the website is compare, the word compare, dot insurify, I-N-S-U-R-I-F-Y-com. Compare. Dot insurify.com. It's free. You go there. You fill it, about 10 minutes, they give you stuff to fill out so they know what you're looking for. All right. And then they come back and they give you comparisons of different companies.
Starting point is 00:32:13 What do you got to lose? And you could save a bundle. Now, if you see something on Insurify, you got to check it out yourself. You don't want to be going to Ziggy's insurance company. Okay. You got to check it out, but this is a very good measure in the smart life segment. Okay, looking out for you. Newsmax, conservative network, as you may know, lawsuit begins this week.
Starting point is 00:32:47 This is the smartmatic voting machines suing Newsmax for $1.7 billion. dollars because they say that Newsmax smeared it in reporting the aftermath of the 2020 election. Well, the judge has thrown out the punitive damages. This is in Delaware. The case, the trial starts Thursday. Judges said no punitive damages, okay? But there's still about a $500 million lawsuit against Newsmax.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I don't know. I haven't seen the discovery. I don't know who has what. I don't know. but I'll follow it. It starts on Thursday. Stay in History, September 24, 2002. British Prime Minister Tony Blair tells the world that Saddam Hussein is weapons of mass destruction.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Now, this was what I, your humble correspondent, based my, all right, opinion that you had to get Saddam out of there. Not on Bush, not on Rumsfeld, not on Cheney, on Blair, And MI6, one of the best intel agencies in the world. Here's what Blair said. Go. Ten days ago, he made the offer unconditionally under threat of war. He could have done it at any time in the last 11 years.
Starting point is 00:34:11 But he didn't. Why? The dossier we publish gives the answer. The reason is because his chemical, biological and nuclear weapons program, is not an historic leftover from 1998. The inspectors aren't needed to clean up the old remains. His weapons of mass destruction program is active, detailed, and growing. All right, Tony Blair said that 22 years ago today.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Bill O'Reilly listened to this speech, Saddam Hussein. And remember, it was reported in the USA front page New York Times. He had weapons of nest destruction. So, based on that, Colin Powell, reporting, I said, got to go in and remove him. It was a disaster for the USA, not removing it, but trying to make Iraq a democracy. And it just didn't go the way it should have gone. But Tony Blair said that. I thought I remind you of it.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Okay, we got a final thought that I think you're going to find very. interesting about the danger of the progressive left back in a moment. All right, here is the final thought of the day. So if you read the Bible, and I recommend it, a fascinating book really is. And you begin at Genesis, you will learn about the Tower of Babel, B-A-B-A-B-E-L. And that is where there was so much discord that God decided to make everybody in the world speak a different language and the Tower of Babel. So they couldn't understand each other.
Starting point is 00:35:58 They had a scatter. And that was the story, that people who don't get along, they're not going to have any common language. Okay. So my friend Bill Siegel wrote a pamphlet called Trump and the War Against the Babelists. All right. It's free. And this caught my attention.
