In the body of our national program, I'm going to tell you about a place on Long Island
that charges $52 for a chicken dinner.
Yes, you heard that right.
Now, you could get 10 chicken dinners and Uncle Giuseppe's for $52.
And I'm going to name the place.
All right, so you know I'm going to hang around for that.
But first, Senator Chuck Schumer, a most powerful man politically in New York State.
Schumer is the most powerful.
Now, Hockel might rival her, but Hogle's a woman.
So Schumer is the most powerful man in the state as the Senate Minority Leader in D.C.
So Schumer was part of the chieftains of the Democratic Party that forced.
forced President Biden to drop out of the race.
He was part of it.
It's undeniable.
So Schumer goes on CBS Sunday morning, and here's what happens.
Go.
For history, for the record, did you in any way suggest to the president
that he should leave the presidential race on July 13th?
Well, first, let's look at President Biden's record.
He's had one of the most amazing presidencies we've had in decades,
passing so many good things, the infrastructure bill, the IRA bill,
getting the price of prescription drugs down for the first time going against the NRA successfully,
helping our veterans with burn pits.
But just for history, though, what was your role, what was your intention with that meeting with him on July 13th?
Yeah, I'm not going to get into the specifics, but he can,
the president Biden will walk away from the president.
with his head held high because of all the great things he's done and because he put America
first. He always has. So Schumer flat out would not answer the question. I don't like that.
I don't know about you, but, you know, I think our elected officials owe it to us, we the people,
to answer the questions. This is a legitimate question posed by Robert Costa, CBS, and Schumer just simply
flat out wouldn't answer it. But I can answer it.
forum. Schumer was one of the five in the Democratic Party that made the decision that Biden
had to go. It was Hakeem Jeffries, second in the House, Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the
House, Barack Obama, former president, Senator Charles Schumer, and
The fifth one is a little murky.
Okay, so my information, the Clintons were involved a little bit.
I don't know how directly, but the chieftains of the party went into Joe and said, look, you can't be Trump.
So that means that we'll lose the Senate in the House if you stay in.
So you got to get out.
And if you don't get out, then we're going to run against you.
the Democratic Party is going to turn against you at the convention, and it'll be a mess, and your
whole legacy will be ruined. That's what they told President Biden, that's why he dropped out.
Now, Schumer should be honest and say, look, we came to the conclusion that he couldn't be Trump
because of his age, and so we suggested he get out. Why wouldn't he say that, Schumer?
So now here's my question to you, the WABC listener. Do you trust Senator Schumer?
when he won't even answer a simple question like that?
Is he looking out for you?
No.
I mean, I don't know about the trust.
It depends your point of view, but I don't trust him.
I think he's just an old-time Paul, P-O-L.
He just says what, you know, oh, Biden's one of the greatest president.
That's a bunch of malarkey, as Joe Biden would say himself.
He's not a great president.
He caused many, many problems.
Ask the families of the hundreds of thousands of people who have died from fentanyl overdoses if Joe Biden's a great president with that open border.
Why don't you ask them?
They'll give you some peace of mind, not peace of mind relaxing, but they'll give you a piece of their mind.
So anyway, I thought I bring that to your attention because it was just outrageous.
And I don't like these politicians who are weasels.
And, you know, I've known Schumer a long time, as I said, we used to get along, but we don't anymore because I don't believe he's looking out for the folks. Simple as that. I don't believe he's looking out for you.
