What about this debate, huh?
I'm going to do an extensive analysis of this.
It is going to be a fiasco.
Whoa!
And I'm going to tell you all kinds of stuff you don't know.
That's coming up after the first break.
It's the Talking Points Memo on a national broadcast here.
But locally, I don't know where you heard or not, you might have.
The six illegal aliens who jumped the cops in Times Square have been offered plea deals.
one year, six months, whatever it may be, easy, slap on the wrist.
They've got to go to prison if they accept the plea deal.
They returned to court June 18th.
I don't know what their status is.
I think most of them are out.
And they'll basically, I think they'll split a lot of them will anyway.
One of them has posted $15,000.
bail because a Catholic priest in Brooklyn put it up for him.
And then this guy committed, or allegedly committed, another crime after the priest put
up the 15K.
This thing is so far out of control in New York, it's really crazy.
So you can beat up a cop and maybe you get six months.
That's your top, if you plea it out.
There was a move by Republicans in Albany to stop a lot of this madness by.
passing Lakin's law. So you remember Lakin Riley was the University of Georgia student who was
murdered by an illegal alien. So Republicans in Albany said, look, we got to stop this.
And the bill would say that law enforcement and the courts have to notify U.S. immigration and
customs when an arrested person or defendant is not a U.S. citizen. And the Democrats killed it.
They killed the bill.
Why?
Why?
Sanctuary City still, after all of the mayhem, all of the violence, all of the terrible things that illegal immigration has caused,
Democrats in Albany still will not take any action to remedy the situation.
Now, again, I ask you, I know that most of you agree.
with me. I understand that. But WABC's reach at 9 o'clock at night is so big that I'm talking
to people in Iceland. I'm talking to people in Nova Scotia. I'm talking to people in South
Carolina. And in your own areas, you cannot continue voting for progressives. It's not so much
the party. All right? So I don't think my Congressman Tom Swede.
would vote against Lakin's law.
When I see him, I'll ask him.
He's the representative in Washington.
But in New York State, you cannot continue to vote for progressive candidates if you want
public safety and respect for the law.
And the people who do, I'm telling you, I used to overlook it, but I don't anymore.
I tell people, you support these progressive.
candidates, you are supporting violence, criminality. You're putting your own family and your own
self at risk. And then they go, Trump this, Trump, whatever stupid thing, they can't out-debat
me. They can't. So then I walk away. Now, I haven't lost any friendships over it because I
pick my friends very carefully. All right, I like to think that I would have known had I been
one of the apostles that Judas Ascariat was a traitor and a terrible person, which he turned
out to be. I'd like to think that I would have known that, but I have been betrayed by people,
not close people, but I've been betrayed. So have you. It's a human condition. But my close friends,
you know, they know there's a line with me, and that's rationality.
So if you are opposed public safety, if you are against that because of your ideology,
I'm not going to speak to you.
I'm not.
It's a waste of my time and a waste of your time.
I think that you're emotionally damaged if you believe that public disorder should be allowed.
And it is being allowed in New York City and state.
because people are voting for it.
I can't say it any clearer.
