All kinds of stuff going on. Not a lot of good stuff either.
Columbia, as you know, I talked about this with Casson Cosby
earlier today on their program, 5 to 6.
They're not having their main graduation. You know, it's the same old stuff.
The poor kids in Columbia. First, they have COVID. Now they can't graduate because
Lunes are running around, although they've cleared them out there.
But I want to bring to your attention a very interesting story that I came across.
So in Middle Village, Queens, there is a very famous food market called Mario's Meat Market in Gourmet Deli.
Okay?
And they held a fundraiser for the Diller family.
You'll remember Detective Diller was shot dead, age 31, one-year-old child, by a career criminal, Guy Rivera.
and the whole New York City area mourned, and that never should have happened.
Rivera never should have been on the street.
Okay, so Marios sold 2,217 chiclet cutlet sandwiches to help the dealer family.
So if you bought the NYPD Hogi, $5 went to the dealers.
Now, they don't really need the money at this point because they have a GoFundMe page
that's raised more than a million dollars for them.
But it was the gesture.
So the owner, Joe DiGanji, I think I'm saying his name right, he wrote a check to the
dealers for more than $15,000.
Way to go, Joe.
Now, I like this because it just shows the solidarity of most New Yorkers.
See, we are a fractured culture here because of the progressive left and its stronghold in many parts of New York City, not in Middle Village, okay, not in many, many communities in the city.
but there are enough numbers that the progressives run the city council and they run the state
legislature in Albany, which is shocking, just shocking. And they are the ones that are reaping
the destruction that we are seeing. You know, John Diller, he played lacrosse at St. Mary's High
where my son played lacrosse. And I was talking to the principal of the school
over there on
Thursday night
and I asked about
John Diller
and I said
you know what kind of guy
he says the guy was just so solid
good student
good athlete kind
all of this and that
those are the reports
down the line
and when you see
a life snuffed out because
of stupid politics
and that's what this is
you got to strip it away
It's stupid politics, not punishing criminals because of some theory that minorities are treated unfairly by the justice system.
Yeah, in some cases they are.
But you don't throw violent people out on the street.
You don't do that because of some past mistake.
That's putting all of us in danger, and that's what we have.
But, you know, the people of Middle Village, they know.
Where I live on Nassau County, they know.
Suffolk County, where I live, they know.
But people have got to get angry.
They got to get mobilized.
They've got to get involved.
You've got to throw these people out.
And look, if you don't vote for the district attorney, if you don't vote,
vote down the ballot, you're going to have these people because the activists do. The progressive
left does. Very organized, very well funded. They want to change the whole system. They don't want
capitalism. They don't want criminals punished because, you know, it's not really the
criminal's fault. Society made them monsters. Okay. I mean, you know, please.
So, congrats to Mario's Meat Market, Gourmet Deli, Middle Village.
If I'm in the area, and once in a while I'm in Middle Village, I'm definitely coming in.
And if you go, you tell them O'Reilly sent you.
Okay?
Very nice gesture.
