Starting point is 00:00:00 I don't know if you are following the Eric Adams situation closely because we have the presidential election and so many things going on and school is back and everybody's running around. But this, I think, is doom, D-O-O-O-M for Mayor Adams. It's ongoing corruption. Nothing has been defined. I think that's the fair word yet. But over the weekend, the acting police commissioner, Thomas Donnellin said federal agents searched his homes and took a whole bunch of stuff out of his house.
Starting point is 00:00:44 He says they're not related to the Adams administration, but who knows? And remember, just a few days ago, the police commissioner, Edward Cabin, had to resign. For some reason, I don't even know why. His brother was accused of doing something, but it's on and on and on and on and on. And Adams looks like he doesn't know what's going on.
Starting point is 00:01:10 And then what has happened in the past, you remember that Adam's chief fundraiser, a woman named Brianna Suggs, had her house raided. and stuff taken and then there was Winnie Greco Adams' Asian Affairs
Starting point is 00:01:28 advisor the FBI search her house and it just goes it just doesn't end all of this stuff retired police inspector Timothy Pearson
Starting point is 00:01:41 a senior advisor to Adams had his phone seized by agents these are all federal people I mean Alvin Rag, you're not going to do this. Come on. So, it's just, we had legal counsel Lisa Zornberg. She had to quit. Kristen Kaufman, Deputy Commissioner of Public Private Partnerships.
Starting point is 00:02:06 She had to quit. I mean, come on. What's going on? Now, it's going to blow. I know it, because the feds don't spend. this time and money on a Democrat, Adams, in the largest city in the country, unless they know something happened. There's two types of cases. The case where they got it, and they're just trying to pile more on, and then there's the fishing expedition, trying to get something, like the
Starting point is 00:02:42 Trump stuff. They tried every way to get something on Trump, fishing expedition, Justice Department. But on this one, same Justice Department, it looks like they've got stuff, and they're just mounting it up. So even if nothing happens, and I think the odds of that are zero, I think there will be indictments brought by the federal government. And again, it's got to be all corruption, but I don't know what the corruption is. And I'm not going to speculate that's wrong. And when people get arrested, I'm going to give them due process. because nobody else in the media will. And due process is one of the cornerstones of our whole society.
Starting point is 00:03:25 But I'm going to report to you what's going on. So even if nothing happens, Adams isn't going to win again. If Cuomo runs against Adam, boy, what a mess that'll be. Because, you know, people don't forget what Cuomo did. With the Nobel law, with the nursing home COVID, I mean, it's not a lock. people are going to flock to vote for Andrew Cuomo. But I don't think Adams can get reelected. And he might be in the middle of this thing.
Starting point is 00:03:57 That's not really a fair statement, I know, but you've got to put it out there. All of these people, and I guess he might be Sergeant Schultz, I see nothing, I don't know. But if I'm interested in running the city of New York, as the mayor. There's no been a better time than now to go up against Adams. He's weak. He's weak on crime. He's befuddled. He doesn't have any answers. Man. So that's where we are, local. And again, a lot of this has been downplayed because of the big national election and a lot of things going on that are more immediate than this. This looks like it's six months away. maybe less.
