Starting point is 00:00:00 Do you think Eric Adams is in trouble politically? I do. I do. Could be a one-termer, even though the Democratic Party is a strangle hold over the electorate in the city. Kathy Hochel, she knows she got trouble, but she's got some time. Adams closing in pretty fast, because you know these campaigns start two years out now. It's a rumor, Andrew Cuomo, I don't think so. Might want to go for mayor of New York, but I don't see that.
Starting point is 00:00:36 I think he wants to recapture the governorship, go up against Hockel in three years. But I could be wrong. I don't talk to these people. Excuse me. But Adam's got problems everywhere. So the story went away, but it's going to come back about his fundraising machine taking money from Turkey, the country Turkey. Whenever you get involved with something like that, it becomes very nefarious. So keep that in mind.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Then he's got the migrant problem, which is totally out of control. And every day now, there's another migrant situation. Yesterday it was kids being forced to stay home from school so migrants could go to the school every day. Then Adam's got public disorder, which is all over the place. All right. You got thugs. You got homeless in Penn Station. You got rats. You got pot everywhere. You got gridlock everywhere. It's bad. That I think might sink them. Public disorder. And now on the horizon, congestion pricing. What a zoo that's going to be. I'm sitting there going, this is not good. But what does he do? He doesn't want to go up against the orthodoxy of the far left, which controls New York City.
Starting point is 00:02:10 They don't want to do it. He could crack down on crime really hard, really hard. But that goes against the far left. They don't want that. They think criminals are very hard. victims. I don't know what he does about the migrants. I have no idea how you stop that. Now he's going to sue the bus companies or whatever. That's not a bad step. That'll slow it down. But Biden's going to have to do something on the border, but it's taken forever.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Meantime, he got hundreds of thousands of migrants that New York City is supporting. And Adams would raise taxes if he could. That's what the congestion pricing is all about. Now, the tax rise for working people. So I'm sitting here. I know Curtis Sliwa, W.ABC host, he would like to run again because he's got name recognition. And so he'll be around. And I don't know if anybody else, such a hard job really is an impossible job, that it comes to mind immediately. I don't think Adam's going to be challenged from within his own party,
Starting point is 00:03:29 except by a far, far, far left people like this Germain Williams, whatever he, oh boy. But Adams, you know, the folks might say enough, enough. And they may go for a tough guy like Curtis. Curtis's going to have to raise a lot of money because the Democratic machine has a fortune. Hogle is going to come up against Andrew Cuomo. in a primary. I know that. I know that's going to happen. And Cuomo's going to run to the center, maybe even to the right, right of center. So Hockel, she'll maintain the machine status. They're not going to go over to Andrew Cuomo. But Cuomo, a big name. Still got support. It's got money.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I think you'll be able to raise money. So Hocco's got to know Cuomo's, hearing over her shoulder.
