I usually run down my commentary, but I'm going to bring in a guest tonight because he's over in Israel right this moment. He's talking to us from Tel Aviv or close by. His name is Daniel Nerber. You might have heard of him running for Congress in the third district. That's my district on Long Island. And he went over to Israel for the Jewish holidays with his wife and four children. and he joins us now. So, Mr. Nerva, thank you for helping us out.

When was the first time you knew that war had broken out? Thank you for having me on the show. So we came over for a few weeks for the holiday of Sukkot. Just wanted to spend some time with the family like we do. We were sleeping in our bed Saturday morning. It's Shabbat, and it's also a holiday in addition to everything. It's the last holiday of the last day of the last day of the family. the holiday, it's called the Eustok, and we just decided to sleep in.

And all of a sudden, at 6.30 in the morning, we hear sirens go off like crazy. It's loud and blasting in our ears. Me and my wife are looking at each other. We're thinking immediately that this must be subtype of mistake, because usually beforehand, we get some kind of warning beforehand, the night before, days before, the mic, be something going on, but we didn't hear anything at all. So we were thinking this is a mistake. So we run down to the shelters with the children like we do. Every house we were residing in and has some type of shelter. And we're in there and we're just trying

to keep up with the news what's going on. And we're understanding that it's just that's rockets are being launched into the country. But in addition to that, our worst fears were actually realized that there was actually an invasion into the country of Hamas, about 28 terrorist cells were coming in. And not that they were, they arrived some type of party or rave. We weren't sure exactly what was going on, but they were killing people and not just killing people and massacring them. They were actually abducting them, which was unheard of. And it's an atrocity that no words could explain that we've ever been. Let me stop you there. So you were born in USA, but raised in Israel, and you did serve in the Israeli defense forces. And the

accusations on the progressive left that Israel is the oppressor that it has practiced apartheid with the Palestinian people and that this is justified. Hamas is murder of civilians and everything they're doing is justified because Israel is so bad. How do you react to that? It's the same thing they're just saying all the time. That's the only thing that they could the only thing they could say at this point is that how terrible the Israelis are towards how they're treating the Hamas or the Palestinians, but they have to understand that we don't ever start these wars, these attacks. We don't want to start the attacks. We have so many Arabs living amongst Israelis always. We live with them peacefully. So this is complete proof

that we want peace, that we don't care if you're a Muslim, you're a Christian, you're a Jew, or anything. We just want to live in a society where people live with each other, a melting pot, and Hamas is just sitting there and instigating this. And you have Iran behind the seams pushing this forward. I mean, they say it all the time that they want to wipe Israel off the map. That's true. But instead, if they were, when you were being trained for the Israeli defense forces, is that what they told you that Iran and the other? Islamic militants wanted to kill all the Jews? No, that's not in our, that's not exactly what we hear.

We understand that Iran is an enemy. They're not our friends, but they want to, and they have an agenda of destroying Israel, but not the entire country is like that. There's so many Iranians in my districts. I mean, Muslim and Jewish. Sure. I mean, we could, we, we, and great neck, exactly.

And we will live with you. other and that's how we want to live in Israel also okay that's what you're begging for yeah do you think the United States response or under Biden has been appropriate right now from your vantage point well ten minutes ago I know he was speaking right now and he was saying how much up his atrocity is but you know what it's two months too late because he I mean the damage is done you can't say it otherwise yeah six billion dollars was given to them and immediately see where the money went they went straight to those rockets I mean

Last year, two years ago, there was 4,500 rockets sent over to us launched within a week. We had 5,000 rockets sent within 20 minutes. Where did they get the money for those rockets? Only from Iran. So we need to stop appeasing Iran. All their presidents before except Donald Trump have been appeasing Iran, and this needs to end. All right.
