Starting point is 00:00:00 So here is a question for the very intelligent W.A.B.C. listeners, by all measures, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who may be listening to this broadcast tonight, should have been selected as vice president to run with Kamala Harris. Why? Because Pennsylvania is vital to the democratic interests in the electoral college. And Shapiro is a moderate. but he was not selected and I will tell you coming up exactly why he was not selected but for our purposes tonight to set up common sense I'm going to ask a simple question do you believe that Shapiro did not get the nod because he's Jewish did his faith disqualify him so here in New York City there
Starting point is 00:00:57 There are 1.4 million Jews, according to the Jewish Chronicle. All right? There are 7.4 million in Israel itself. So you can see that next to Israel, there are more Jews in the New York City area. I think there are more than 1.4 million when you count the suburbs. But in New York City, 1.4 million. That's a colossal amount of Jewish people. And most of them vote Democrat.
Starting point is 00:01:25 We've gone over this because liberal people are usually people who feel for the underdogs and the Jews have always been underdogs and they identify with that. A lot of my ancestors were Democrats for the same reason. The Irish got the stuffing kicked out of them by the English, exploited and terrorized and everything else, and so the underdog was appealing to the Irish. That's changed somewhat now. I don't think that Kamala Harris is anti-Semitic. I think she is a frightened woman and that the progressive left is what she fears.
Starting point is 00:02:09 And that because Governor Shapiro cracked down on the pro-Palestinian protesters and is clearly a fan of the country of Israel, not yet in Yahoo, but the country. that Harris did not want the far left pounding her. And that's why Shapiro didn't get the call because he should have. Walzin will get into this is way, way too left. She and Kamala like tied to see who can be the most progressive candidate.
Starting point is 00:02:44 It's crazy. Harris needed a moderate on the ticket, but no. Now, anti-Semitism. Because I grew up with a lot of Jewish kids in Levitown, I know something about this. And it is a reality. There's no doubt about it. I don't think it's as widespread as some may believe. I don't know any anti-Semites.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Okay? I don't know any. And they wouldn't really demonstrate around me anyway because I would not tolerate it. But when I was growing up, the Christian kids in Levitown got along with the Jewish kids. Once in a while, some idiot would say some slur, and then he'd get beat up by the Christian kids. All right, and we wouldn't tolerate it because we were protective of the Jewish kids. And the Jewish kids lived a different lifestyle. They had to go to Hebrew school, some of them were yarmacas.
Starting point is 00:03:46 but that didn't have any effect, as long as they could play shortstop and shoot some hoops and were nice guys and gals, we didn't have any problem with them, we Christians. They probably have more problems with us, because, you know, the Italians and the Irish and the Poles were at each other's throats all the time in Levittown. It was a very interesting upbringing, believe me, and you probably, if you were on a working class part of New York, you had the same thing. Anyway, I don't think Harris is anti-Semitic. I think she's a frightened person. I think she does what she's told. And the far left clearly did not want Governor Shapiro as her running mate.
