So you know how I feel about Attorney General Letitia James. I don't think that she is looking out for me or you. I don't know her. The times that I've seen her in public, she has been articulate, but a very committed left-wing individual. Nothing wrong with that. The people vote her in, they vote her in. But I think this whole term,
Trump thing is ridiculous. And I have said that quite clearly. We'll do another short segment
tonight on the national front here on the Trump situation, why he's doing what he's doing
in the courtroom. But it came across my desk today that Ms. James is putting undercovers
in the real estate industry throughout New York with an emphasis on long island.
and she's spending $3 million of tax money on the undercover effort.
Now, why would she do that?
Because the state of New York believes that redlining is still going on.
That is, that real estate agents, some of them, probably a very small percentage,
are refusing to sell to minorities.
and that's against the law.
So in New York State, everybody has to get treated the same when you go to buy a house or rent a room.
Okay?
And that's the way it should be.
Absolutely should be.
So when I grew up in Levittown, it was redlining there.
The Levitt brothers who built that massive suburban housing project.
wouldn't sell to minorities, blacks.
They wouldn't sell.
And that was horrible, absolutely horrible.
Donald Trump's father participated in redlining,
and I lay that out in the United States of Trump.
They're very bad.
Now, Trump himself did not, but his father did.
And now, the state is an obligation to make sure, as best it can,
that all people get an equal shot of buy in a house or rent in a place.
So I actually am on Letitia James' side here.
I think this is good that she's sending undercovers in, state agents,
and if they find that a real estate agency is not treating everybody equally,
then the state will go in and shut them down
and find the people who own the agency and the agents themselves.
And that's the only way it's going to stop.
So I applaud the Attorney General for doing this,
and at the same time harshly criticize her
for using her office and her power in political ways.
I don't see this as political.
This is just upholding the law and being fair-minded.
Using all the resources of the state of New York to crucify Donald Trump on a beef that wouldn't be brought against anyone else is horrible.
And it's embarrassing.
So the point I want to make is that people are not all good and all bad.
You know, some people do bad things.
turn around and do good things. That's what Leticia James is right now, with me. Now, as I said yesterday,
the reason that she's doing this for Trump is she wants to be governor. Try it before. Got nowhere,
but she has her eye on Albany and running the state. And she believes that the liberal voters
in New York will look upon her favorably if she punishes Donald Trump. That's what she believes.
That's why this is happening.
And as you will hear, after the first break, and we go into the national edition,
that Trump knows that, knows he's going to get convicted, knows it's not a fair trial, and it's not.
And he's making a farce out of it, you know, to bring attention to the fact that the fix is in.
That's why Trump's doing what he's doing.
