Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, a story caught my eye that very disturbing to me. So you may know that WCBS Radio News is turning into a sports station on Monday, a week from today. And that leaves WYNS is the only news radio in New York City. So there is a reporter there, Kelly Dillon, 40 years old, good reporter, has been around. all right and uh on october on august 14th not october august okay she's walking around uh her manhattan office and uh a guy walks up to her grabs her hair and body slams her to the ground that of nowhere random okay so miss dillon detailed the attack on ticot said she was assaulted on streets of New York City randomly by a man just after midnight on Wednesday. Okay. This is around
Starting point is 00:01:00 Hudson Street. That's where her office is. She's trying to get home to New Jersey. So she's walking for transportation. And then this guy does this. So she got away from him. And she's hurt, but not hurt badly. But that'll stay with her for her whole life. This is called social disorder. Okay? And I believe, based on I was born in Manhattan, raised in Levittown, Long Island, and know the city pretty darn well, we have the highest level of social disorder in New York City history right now. Now, some people would say, well, what about the crack wars? And I was a reporter. I, I, I, I, saw that. That was segmented in certain sections of NYC, the drug wars. This random social disorders is everywhere. Everywhere you are that you can be walking down a street, some punk comes up
Starting point is 00:02:15 and assaults you, and even if he's caught, it's always a heat, not always, but 90% of them are men, nothing will happen to them, nothing, unless they almost kill you or rape you or something like that. Now, Ms. Dillon's okay, but again, something like that never leaves you, never leaves you. It's ingrained in your mind. And the reason is happening is non-punishment of street people. I have no sympathy for them. If you're mentally ill, you need to be put away and get treatment. If you're drug addicted, same thing. Either get treatment or will put you behind a therapeutic wall somewhere. You don't have the right to run around
Starting point is 00:03:09 committing petty crimes and indecencies in the middle of the public arena when children are there and everything else. Stop. But boy, I'll tell you, the people who run New York City, they don't want to hear that. They're not going to do it. They're blaming society.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Oh, it's society's fault. That Kelly Dillon got mugged and assaulted. Oh, it's not his fault, whatever. Whoever did it, society made them do it. Oh, stop it. Just really unbelievable. Now, the reason this continues to happen is because New York City voters continue to vote for far-left people. The outrage factor has not risen high enough, where people say, I'm not going to support them anymore.
Starting point is 00:03:59 I think Mayor Adams is in trouble. I don't think he's going to win re-election. Cuomo may run against him, Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo could beat him. That could happen. I think Cuomo would rather run against Hockel, but that's a lot more complicated for the governorship than the mayor. I don't think Adams is going to get another term.
Starting point is 00:04:22 I could be desperately wrong about this. A lot of things could happen. But right now, that city, New York City, because I get calls all the time for people, all over the world. I'm coming to New York and I say, be careful, all right? When you're alone, you're most vulnerable, obviously. If you're going to the city, be with some people. That's my best tip. Sorry to have to report this, and I hope Ms. Dillon is fine, but boy, that made me mad when I saw it.
