So I'm looking at the chaos surrounding Mayor Eric Adams.
His administration's falling apart right before our eyes.
So the latest is the head of the Department of Education.
David Banks, he's quitting.
Bye.
So he joins a bevy of other people, including the police commissioner,
who are saying, I got to get out of here.
Can't work.
Now, why?
We never get a reason.
We do know the Justice Department, the FBI, is investigating the Adams administration for all kinds of stuff.
There's an overseas connection to some of Adams' people.
There's alleged shakedowns by nightclub people.
They have to pay New York City authorities or past authorities for protection or whatever.
I mean, I don't know because nothing.
has been put in writing. There have been no charges yet. So I'm a due process guy. You know that.
And Mayor Adams and everybody else is absolutely innocent until proven guilty. But that doesn't preclude
the fact that we don't have anybody around the city. The city is just, Adams, he doesn't have
any definition on this. There's no clarity coming out of him.
I can't believe he's going to be reelected.
I mean, I think he's shot now.
And the public disorder is the big thing.
I mean, people aren't going to vote on unfounded allegations.
And right now, we don't know what the Department of Justice is looking at.
We will soon.
They're not doing all these raids and all of that on a fishing expedition, as we talked about earlier this week.
They got something.
And they're just trying to reinforce it now.
So I don't think Adams has a chance in hell of being elected a second time.
And that's going to throw it open to a lot of different people.
Now, we need to upgrade the city council, the mayor's job, all of the heads of the education, police department, fired up.
We need to upgrade.
I'm sure there are some good civil service people.
working for Adams. I don't study them. My job is a national commentator, but I live here.
I want the best for New Yorkers, and this is really catching my eye. So you got people, David Banks,
deputy mayor and he's had his devices taken, seized. It's just on and on and on.
Legal advisor Lisa Zornberg, health commissioner Ashwin Vasson. And then Banks says, you know,
school just started so I'm out of here. What? What? Couldn't you wait until the school?
year is over? Apparently not. So again, very hard to analyze this story in a fair way because we
don't know. But what I do know based upon my 50 years of repertoireal experience is when
something like this happens, which is the cliche where there's smoke, there's fire. This isn't
going away. This is getting worse. So it may be for the good. We have public disorder at an
all-time high now in the city. We need new leadership. Everybody knows we need new leadership
except for the people who vote for the progressives. They don't know. I don't know why they don't
know. I'll come to your house and explain it, but most New Yorkers know that the city has
declined dramatically, not just under Adams, but de Blasio, those eight years, horrible,
absolutely horrible. And by extension, we have seen a decline in the federal government.
The Biden-Harris administration is a disaster. And so I'm watching these people, you know,
screaming and yelling how great Kamala is, and I'm going, based on what? Based on what?
I mean, give me one accomplishment, one thing that's made.
your life better in the past three and a half years. Give me one. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com.
All right. Send it to me.
