We all had a nice time on Friday night at Cypriani, 42nd Street, big party,
thrown by W.ABC's owner, John Casamatidis, to honor people born in September.
And it was a lot of fun. So Tony Orlando was the featured guy and cousin Brucey, you know, the lineup.
I was there. Sid was there. And we had a lot.
of laughs and it was a really nice thing because it benefited tunnels to towers
japan off mortgages for military and first responders who got hurt and that's very
worthy charity obviously and then a police athletic league which i give to every year
um to help the poor kids in the city um and so it raised a ton of money uh for those two charities
and for the St. Francis of the C.C. Food Bank, another excellent, excellent operation.
So I was pleased to be there, and W.A.B.C. really goes out of its way to be part of the community in a very positive way.
And you know, I think you know that.
So a story across my desk that I found very interesting.
So the New York City Department of Homeless Services, DHS, is giving out $4,000.
dollars in gift cards and cash to undocumented migrants in order to encourage them to move out
of city shelters.
So if you sneak into the country and you wind up in New York City, you can put your hand out
and you will get $4,000, at least 150 families will.
So since the Biden open border policy, at least 65,000 foreign national,
without documentation, have derived in New York City.
This is according to Channel 7 News.
The city has spent $4.6 billion,
billion on these undocumented people,
in a form of shelter, in a form of food, other services.
4.6 billion.
Now, shockingly,
The Comptroller's Office of New York says that the city is not running a deficit this year.
That actually has a small surplus.
I was very surprised by that.
So even though they're putting out $4.6 billion to people who just arrived and they shouldn't be here,
paperwork isn't there, the city is not going into a deficit situation.
And that's because we are the highest taxed people by far in the United States of America.
And I think in the world, could be wrong about the world, but boy, we're close.
The taxation is so onerous here in New York City.
They take in so much money that they run a surplus.
And they can afford to set $4.6 billion on fire.
How crazy is this?
So what should happen is that all the residents in New York City should get a tax break
and stop at the 25 mile an hour speed limit, which is designed to shake you down.
They're stealing money from you.
Because if you go 32 and there's nobody on the road, you get hauled in for 150 bucks, come on.
and everything you want to do in this city, including park your car and a lot,
there's a huge tax.
Yet, you know, the city gets up every morning, goes through the day,
and all of this crazy stuff continues to happen.
The governance here, you know, I gave Mayor Adams a chance.
I believe if Cuomo runs against him, Cuomo will win.
Cuomo will beat him.
I don't think Adams is much of a constituency anymore.
I don't know about this FBI investigation.
I'm not going to speculate on it because I don't know anything about it.
It's wrong to convict people without any evidence at all.
Now, the FBI may have the evidence, but they have not made it public against the mayor and his friends and the police commissioner or whatever.
I'm not going to do that.
That's wrong.
I'm going to wait.
But anyway, I thought you would.
would appreciate those stats.
