Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, we want to talk about the Trump thing, of course, and we are going to spend some time on that, both nationally, and I'll have some comments briefly, because Donald Trump's going to be in the Nassau Coliseum on Wednesday. And, you know, look, Secret Service's got to step it up now. It's ridiculous. It's not their fault, and I'll get into that very, very micro, but, you know, enough's enough here. So we got to protect not only Trump, but Harris and everybody else. But New York City's falling apart. I don't know whether you notice or not. And some people say, well, it was falling apart for a long time. But Mayor Eric Adams, his administration is, you know, the police chief resigns last week. Now we got two fire department officials retired, arrested by the feds for accepting bribes.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Big money. All right. We got another staffer for Adams is quitting. Ray Martin, operations manager. He's out. Then we got chief legal counsel, Lisa Zornberg resigned Saturday. So the feds are squeezing the Adams administration, no doubt about it. And you're innocent until proven guilty on this program and should be for you and everybody else.
Starting point is 00:01:24 media and the civilian world. We have due process here. I'm not accusing Eric Adams of anything. I'm telling you what's going on, though, is administration's falling apart. I mean, social disorder is at an all-time high in the city, and that's thanks to de Blasio mostly, but Adams has not been able to control it. Everybody knows that. You got DAs in the Bronx and Brooklyn in Manhattan. Queen's not so much with the Melinda Katz, and Staten Island is under control. But we got three DAs out of the five boroughs that's just not going to prosecute crimes. They're just not, unless they're heinous. And even then, they'll bust them down.
Starting point is 00:02:07 So that is almost impossible for Eric Adams to deal with, but he doesn't even criticize these DAs. He doesn't even criticize the radical members of the New York City Council. and he looks like one of the weakest leaders ever, right? Am I wrong? He looks weak. And the city, quality of life, walk down any street, and what you get in your face is marijuana smoke. Okay, nobody obeys a, they're hop in the turnstiles,
Starting point is 00:02:42 they're not paying the bus drivers, they're pushing people around, they're urinating, defecating in public, they're using narcotics in front of children. Come on, come on. This is unacceptable. Where's Adams? Get out there. And now he's got to be worried because all his confidants are resigning. There's a reason why they are.
Starting point is 00:03:11 So this story is going to get worse and worse and worse. Luckily, WABC Radio is on it. I mean, we've got very good sources here. We tell the truth. I mean, I have nothing against Eric Adams. I just want strong leadership for the city. Is that too much to ask? I got strong leadership in Nassau County.
Starting point is 00:03:32 In Suffolk County, I have it because I got homes in both. But we don't have it in New York in the city. All right, Trump. So my talking points memo coming up after the first break is very easy. Trump's got a course correct if he wants to defeat Kamala Harris. Has to. Can't keep going on with the Cocker Spaniels and I hate Taylor Swift and you just can't. You've got to stop.
Starting point is 00:04:00 And now is a good opportunity to do that because the nation's focus is again sympathetic or should be. I know it isn't everywhere on Donald Trump's well-being. So he comes to Nassau Coliseum on Wednesday. I'd love for him to give a big rousing speech about how all of this hatred is damaging the country and that he's going to tamp it down a little bit, right? He'd win if he did it because his policies are so much stronger than the vice president's policies. And look, if you're an ideologue and you're a Democrat and you disagree, fine, fine.
Starting point is 00:04:40 But I'll debate you all day long and I'll win and you know it. The four years Trump was in office was dramatically better for the working American person than what Biden Harris did dramatically.
