Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, so Chuck Schumer, senior senator from New York, Senate Majority Leader. Chuck has always been a back rumor, says one thing does another. I'm not real thrilled with Chucker, known him for years. At one time, we had day-taught, O'Reilly and Chuck Schumer. He wrote a book, it was a pretty good book, about the Bailey's, regular folks. and uh but as things evolved i i don't think senator schumer's looking out for me or you so on the surface chuck schumer is supporting joe biden roll the tape are you are you confident that president biden has what it takes to win in november and serve the next
Starting point is 00:00:50 four years as i've said before i'm with joe Senator Schumer. Yes. Do you expect, based on the differences of opinion in the Democratic Party about the president, his ability to serve on the travelers, that there might be a challenge at the convention. And if there is, is there the ability to throw out the virtual nomination? As I've said before, I'm with Joe. But according to Axios, which is a political website, he's not with Joe.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Behind the scenes, now, this is anonymous sources. We do not use them here on common sense, on the no-spin news, on anything like that. But I can report what is being said under the banner of anonymity. So Axios says that Senator Schumer privately told donors he's open to replacing Biden as the nominee. okay axios reports three unnamed sources have confirmed that is it true i don't know is it possible certainly is it probable yes it is Biden knows that Chuck Schumer will publicly support him But the Biden people also know that behind the scenes, Schumer's going to do what's best for Schumer. If Schumer puts that finger up to the wind and the wind's going against the Bidens, he's going to go against the Bidens.
Starting point is 00:02:34 That's who he is. All right. Do we all have it? I hope so. Now, there's a rumor that New York State might go to Trump in November. that rumor is foolish. It will not. What is true is that the race is much closer now than it was in 2020. So Sienna, which is the primary polling agent for New York State now, that's a college up by Albany. They've got Biden 47 percent in New York, Trump 39. That's about as close as Trump has
Starting point is 00:03:14 ever been. Now, I think Trump's going to take Nassau and Suffolk County, okay, that he'll win those counties, and they're big counties. He will win New York City because the machine is locked down for the Democrats. Westchester is very liberal. The further you go upstate, the more Trump voters there are, but there aren't that many people upstate. New York City dominates, and I just cannot see Donald Trump cutting through outside of Staten Island. He'll win Staten Island, but he won't win Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, in my opinion. And it'd have to be a total catastrophe for the Democrats for that to happen. But Trump can tie down assets here, Biden assets, if it is Biden.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Now, if Kamala gets in, it'll be much easier for Kamala to win New York than Biden. Biden, because of a minority vote situation. So Kamala would make it easier for the Democrats in this state here. Other states, no, because Kamala is not popular. So summing up, Schumer is going to turn on Biden. Biden's not going to be the nominee, in my opinion. Kamala Harris is a stronger presence for the Democrats in New York than Joe is. and that is my assessment.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Of course, I could be wrong, but I'm not usually wrong. Anyway, I'll be on Sid Rosenberg tomorrow morning. I think it's 740, 745, evaluating the press conference, the Biden press conference. So you might want to tune into that.
