Big shocker in sports, Robert Sala, coach of the New York Jets, fired.
And I just saw him on Sunday.
I was on the sidelines for the Jet Minnesota Viking game in London.
And I was talking to the owner, Woody Johnson.
Everything seemed to be good.
But then they lost.
And when you lose, it's never good.
Jets are two and three.
Salah's out.
It might be because he wore a little Lebanon thing on his,
on his sweatshirt and that's political and that didn't help him now we'll go over that in the
main body of the national broadcast but that was surprising to me um a more importance is a
mayor's poll um on mayor adams okay so the poll is skewed because the gender male 47 female
53.
1,073 New York City
adults.
Do you approve or disapprove of the job
Eric Adams is doing?
Approved 25% disapproved 74.
You know, that's because of the
federal indictment, obviously.
But I don't know how you come back
from that.
Eric Adams is indicted on five criminal
counts. He's pleaded not guilty.
Do you think he has done something illegal?
65% say yes.
Now, how would anybody
know. I don't know. They don't like Adams. See, this is, we don't know what he did or did not do.
And nobody's got to know until the trial unfolds. And you can see the discovery, you can see
the evidence. But 65% of New Yorkers think he's done something illegal. But they're only doing
that because of media reports. And because they themselves, most likely, you don't think
Adam's doing a good job. Which he isn't. Okay. So there's a
clear that up. You think Eric Adams should resign? 69%. Serve out the term, 30%. He's done. I mean,
Adam's administration is finished. There's no way he gets reelected. He might even have to go to jail.
I don't know. I don't know. Finally, do you want Andrew Cuomo to run for New York City mayor? Yes, 44, no 55.
Not a good number for Cuomo, but again, he's under a cloud, and he might not be liberal enough
for the Democratic establishment in New York City who want socialists.
Cuomo's not a socialist.
He'll do what the left wants him to do.
We saw that with Nobel.
We saw that with the crazy COVID stuff.
He will do what the progressive left wants, but he is not a socialist, as Jumani Williams.
is and he would take over for Adams if Adams quits, which I don't think he will, but
just depends. Because again, now there's another person getting a boot, and this one
was very close to Adams, a woman named Rana Abasovah. Never heard of her, but she was a director
of protocol in the mayor's office, and she's going to testify against Adams in a Turkish
situation. So Adams fired her. And she has known Adams since he was a Brooklyn borough president.
Okay. So they got something. The feds got something on Abisova. And she's going to flip on
Eric Adams, who then fires her, has to. I mean, if you're a mayor and you got somebody in your
office going to testify against you with the feds, you got to fire her. So, but that just causes
more problems for Adams, right? So the city's a mess. I mean, I think we can all agree on that.
Liberal, conservative, even if you're a Whig, which was a political party, a bull moose, whatever,
the city, New York City, the most powerful city in the world, is one blanken mess
because of progressive policies like sanctuary cities, no bail, punitive taxes, no regulations on civil
behavior, they don't watch where the money goes, poor work habits in the unions.
Why is the city so dirty? London wasn't that dirty. London's a bigger city than New York.
Why is New York so filthy?
Eric Adams? Why?
This is not a well-run city, and progressives control it top to bottom.
Am I making myself clear? I believe I am.
It's really, really a shame.
And you're listening to somebody who was born in Manhattan, raised in Levittown,
and I love my city, but I know it is not anywhere near what it should be.
