Starting point is 00:00:00 We are on Daniel Penny alert. I don't know why it's taking so long. I hope Penny gets justice, and that would mean that he's acquitted, in my opinion. My humble opinion, but I follow the case closely. And I know the tragedy of it all, but I don't think this guy got on the subway and wanted to kill anybody. It just got out of control. and menacing on the New York City Subways is not uncommon. People are subjected to far more danger than they should be.
Starting point is 00:00:36 We all know it who live in New York. All of that has to be taken into account. There's another crime, and this one was absolutely outrageous, and you've heard about it. So the Brian Thompson, CEO of United Healthcare, big company, gets gunned down in the middle of Manhattan, on 6th Avenue, near the Hilton Hotel. So he's from Minneapolis, and he's in town at a conference. And he's walking down the street, and a guy comes out and shoots him in the back, and he dies. Now, the guy is on videotape, had to know he was going to be taped because his cameras everywhere in New York City.
Starting point is 00:01:21 He had a mask on, but there are pictures of him. now without the mask because he went to a Starbucks. So there's a lot of foolish speculation about this case. We don't do that. But I will tell you from a professional point of view what the evidence so far tells me. So this is not a quote unquote professional hitman that killed Brian Thompson. And he will be arrested this man soon because a professional doesn't go to Starbucks. unmasked in the same outfit he uses when he commits murder, that doesn't happen. If you're a professional, you don't do that. You know this camera's everywhere.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Number one. Number two, the guy was familiar with firearms, the assassin. You can see that on the tape. So if you play Sherlock Holmes, from what we know, this was a premeditated murder. wasn't an act, a spontaneous act. No doubt about that. So it's somebody who wanted this Brian Thompson dead. Now, there are millions of reasons why that might happen.
Starting point is 00:02:41 There are so many reasons you couldn't possibly go to them all. And I'm not even going to try because that's irresponsible. But it is harrowing to see, and what people think is the safest part of Manhattan. Okay, Midtown on a very affluent street, you know, a guy take out a silenced pistol and kill the CEO of a very powerful company. I mean, that's a big story. I believe this story will unfold rapidly once they get the guy obviously going to know who he is and then they're going to know why he did it, but he's an idiot, this guy,
Starting point is 00:03:20 this assassin's a jerk, and he deserves everything that comes his way. And we can make jokes all day long about Alvin Bragg and the terrible justice system we have. But this guy's not going to get away with anything. No bail. He'll be in. He'll be tried. He'll be found guilty. And then he'll go away for the rest of his life.
Starting point is 00:03:39 That's what's going to happen. Now, why would you risk that to kill Brian Thompson? There's the most interesting part of the story. Why would you risk your life to kill another human being? Why? And you're not exactly a mens a person here going unmasked with Starbucks in the same outfit and coming out on the street and shooting a guy dead. I mean, it's not the perfect crime if you know what I mean. So I'm watching this and then I got a bear unbearable media. Oh, it could have been this. Oh, it could have been that. Oh, oh, oh. And they do it because
Starting point is 00:04:21 they have nothing else to say now i've just spent three minutes and 30 seconds explaining what happened there and i didn't have to guess or speculate on anything but i thought about it before i presented the material to you which is my job which is why you listen to common sense
