Starting point is 00:00:00 You Americans are happy with what's going on here in the USA. All the polls show that. I guess there's 20, 25 percent who are delirious and think things are going great. I don't really, maybe that's the Taylor Swift contingent. I don't know. but the regular folks, and I talk to plenty of them, are all disenchanted. And the reason is politics. It just comes right down to that.
Starting point is 00:00:40 So we have a very weak president. And if you want to think Joe Biden is not weak, you're perfectly entitled to think that. But the facts belie that this man has screwed it up so badly that another four years it'd be catastrophic for the country. So you start there. All right, it's policies of open border
Starting point is 00:01:04 of putting regulations on the economy that drive inflation up. Oh, no, inflation's coming down. It's not. Go to the grocery store. Okay? You're paying $20,000, I believe, the average family more a year than you paid under Trump for a cent.
Starting point is 00:01:24 I mean, look at your insurance bill. And then on the Republican side, it's just chaos after chaos after chaos after chaos in that party. And I'm not even talking about Donald Trump, who I've told you many times, not even a Republican. He's a populist. But the Republican Party is no cohesiveness to it. The messaging is all over the place. And that's why Biden gets away with a lot of stuff because the Republicans don't have, have a problem-solving agenda outside of Donald Trump, who's a generalist and the media
Starting point is 00:02:01 just hammers him every single day so it's hard to even get his message out. So let's take an honest look at where we stand now vis-a-vis the presidential election of November of this year. That's the Talking Points memo. Now this is an honest assessment. So turn off the TV or the radio right now if you do not want an honest assessment. because a lot of our countrymen don't country men and women. They don't want it.
Starting point is 00:02:32 But here it is. So Donald Trump is leading Biden in the national polls by about a point. New poll today from a Wall Street Journal has Trump up by three. That's in the margin of error. So it is very tight. Trump should be up by 20 if you are just gauging his performance in 4.4. years to Biden's in three and a half years. Trump should be up 20 points. Wall Street Journal poll out today in the swing states, and this is a fair poll, it's evenly divided among Republicans,
Starting point is 00:03:08 Democrats, and others. It has Trump up by three general, as I said. In Arizona, Trump is up by five, 4742. I believe Trump will win Arizona. Georgia, the Wall Street Journal poll has Trump up By one, I do not believe that result. I don't believe it. Okay, I think Trump will win Georgia easily because of the Lake and Riley case. Michigan, the poll has Trump up by three. That's a dicey three right there. North Carolina, I believe Trump will win it.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Polls have them up by six. Nevada, Trump's up by four. I think Trump will win Nevada because of the economy. Pennsylvania, Wall Street Journal has Trump up by three. I do not believe that. I believe Pennsylvania will vote for Biden because the Philadelphia voting situation has not been fixed.
Starting point is 00:04:09 And that is the overwhelming population center in Pennsylvania. It is dubious to say the least. And finally, Wisconsin is a tie. Wisconsin go, you don't know what's going to happen. You just can't. Can't tell. All right. So now Trump gets into a situation that will hurt him at least temporarily, and that is the Stormy Daniels trial. We talked about it yesterday. I hope you saw the No Spin News yesterday. We had very in-depth coverage of what Trump is facing in New York City, criminal charges that he manipulated his books to pay off Stormy Daniels. didn't see it and you are a premium member of Bill O'Reilly.com, you get a transcript of it. Anytime you want, we have segments posted as well. So just go to the website. All right, April 15th, Trump trundles into New York City. He's got to sit there for as long
Starting point is 00:05:09 as that criminal trial goes. Four days a week. I can't see it going more than two weeks myself. Some people say four, six weeks, I can't see it. All right? The key witness is a woman named Hope Hicks, who was an advisor. and a friend to Donald Trump. She's testifying for the prosecution, but God knows what she's going to say. It can't be hearsay in a criminal trial. I mean, just can't.
Starting point is 00:05:35 So I don't know what Hicks knows. I don't know what she's going to say. But anyway, it's going to be nasty in the media. Every single day will slam Trump, guilty, guilty, because the media has already convicted Trump of everything. Whether he's guilty or innocent, they don't care that Ms. Daniels, Some say, practiced extortion to even get this thing where it is,
Starting point is 00:06:00 meaning it's never going to report that. So every day that Trump is in their courtroom, it's going to be slam, slam, slam, slam, slam, and that will affect some independent women. Most people, they know this is bogus, all right? And they don't even care what Trump did with Stormy Daniels or didn't do, all right? I don't care. But it'll have a little effect on that niche vote of independent women. Now, Trump's lucky because this is going to get out of the way before May.
Starting point is 00:06:35 And by November, people are going to remember it. Okay? So that's where we are. Now, the money is rolling in to Joe Biden from the progressives, Hollywood, all these people. It's got about $190 million, all right, and he needs it because Biden will not be able to campaign much, all right? He's going to have to stay in the White House. He can't go out and be confronted by local reporters or any reporters. He's incapable of that.
Starting point is 00:07:07 So it's going to be TV ad, TV ad, TV ad, and he's got to raise an enormous amount of money to buy the television ads, which have already started. The Republicans will raise money, too, so it's not going to be that big of deficit. abortion will be Biden's main thing. Not the economy, not the border, not Israel, not Ukraine, abortion. Okay, that's what it's going to be. And on the other side, Republicans better starts supporting military aid to Ukraine. And just for this one reason, I'm going on News Nation tonight. I've got to wise up, Cuomo at 8 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Look, if Trump wins the election, it's going to be. to be a lot easier for him to make a deal with Putin if Putin is still getting hammered. If Putin's winning, it's going to be much more difficult for Trump to stop that. If Putin's in pain, Trump will probably be able to come to some kind of a stoppage of this. So the Republicans get that military aid over there. For their own self-interest, and the interests, of course, of the country. But a lot of Republicans can't figure that out. All right, they're not the brightest bulbs, some of these people.
Starting point is 00:08:31 I think, I have to say this, I hate to say this, but I think the Democrats, by and large, are smarter than the Republicans at this point in history. Okay, so that's where we are, seven months out to the vote. Both Biden and Trump are selling the same thing. doom roll of because if we don't win on November 5th, I think
Starting point is 00:08:56 our country is going to cease to exist. It could be the last election we ever have. I actually mean that we don't win. I think this could be the last election we ever have. That's where our country is going. America, as we begin this election year, we must be clear.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Democracy is on the ballot. Your freedom is on the ballot. Yes, we'll be voting on many issues. On the freedom to vote, and have your vote counted. Well, it'll be counted in Philadelphia, all right, maybe six, seven times. Sorry to be cynical, but I know what's going on there. Okay, so both candidates are selling doom.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Vote for me, the country goes down a drain. There you go. Something will happen. I'm telling you, I don't know what it is. But something's going to happen to clarify this election. In our whole history, whenever we're at this crosspoint, something happens. That's the memo. RFK Jr., he'll be 12% of the vote in November.
Starting point is 00:10:05 That's my prediction. It gets 12%. It's not going to be on all the balance. It's hard. But anyway, Tulsi Gabbard, the former Hawaii Congresswoman, says that she was offered to VP slot. by RFK and turned it down. Why did she turn it down?
Starting point is 00:10:22 Because she wants to be VP under Trump. That's why. And she got a shot. The problem with Ms. Gabbard is she's an isolationist. And for reasons I just told you, that's tough. Trump's not an isolationist. Trump thinks he can make deals abroad that help America, and he made some good ones.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Gabbard doesn't want anything to do with any foreign conflicts. But, you know, these politicians, they change fairly quickly. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver. Theroux, the only dealer I trust, American Hartford gold. And you can do this.

I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week I'll sit down for candid conversations with
Starting point is 00:12:15 Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, and even the president of the United States. These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. All right, Donald Trump. So his trial begins April 15th jury selection.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Trump's going to have to be there because it's a criminal case. So he'll have to be in a courtroom in Manhattan four days a week. And that, of course, will cut into his campaigning, everything else he does. Now, he's charged with illegally disguising reimbursements related to paying hush money. Notice where it's illegally disguising. reimbursments. This is the Stormy Daniels case. So I'm sure you know about it, but just to recap, Stormy Daniels is a sex worker. And apparently she had an encounter with Donald Trump. A few days before the 2016 election, she got in touch with the Trump people and said, give me money,
Starting point is 00:13:36 or I'm going public, and you'll lose the election. You know, some might say that's extortion. Anyway, she got money from the Trump operation. Now, I don't know any more than that. I don't know who ordered the money. I don't know where the money came from. You know, it's like $130,000 or whatever. I don't know. So Trump has pled, of course, not guilty to the charges.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Now, Bragg, the DA in Manhattan, who doesn't prosecute crimes, all right, is charged Trump with a class E felony. even though this is usually a misdemeanor. But we all know what's going on in Manhattan, in New York City with Trump. The trial is expected to take six weeks, which is pretty long. I mean, I don't know why it would take that long,
Starting point is 00:14:27 but that's what it's expected. Joining us now from Washington is Roger Severino from the Heritage Foundation. He's a former trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, civil rights division, so he knows this is a state. state of New York case, not a federal case, but Mrs. Severino knows what's going on here. So let's begin with Ms. Daniels and her demand for money. That sounds illegal to me.
Starting point is 00:15:00 What do you say? Yeah, it's so interesting the twists and turns of this case. You would think that asking somebody for money to keep quiet might count as extortion and that perhaps Trump would have been the victim of this case. But this entire story has been flipped on its head. Trump is the one that's now in the hot seat because you have these roving prosecutors, not just in this case, but another is trying to do everything in their power to prevent Trump from being president. This is not about law enforcement. This is about throwing anything they can to go after Trump to impede his ability to run and be, again, the president of the United States. In this case, in particular, it's just dripping with ironies. So they say that this is a hush money
Starting point is 00:15:37 case. Well, if Trump, in fact, was paying somebody to keep quiet, that's not illegal. There's no underlying crime and paying somebody to keep quiet. There's non-disclosure agreements all the time. It happens everywhere all the time. So then second, we had this case of campaign finance violations. That was the first step where people said, you know what? This was an actual influencing of a campaign. What you're doing was paying money as a campaign expenditure to help Trump win his first election.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Michael Cohen actually took a fall. That was a lawyer of Donald Trump. He's a convicted perjurer and is now going to be the star witness for Alvin. bragging the DA. He went down on a campaign finance case to get rid of his underlying other claims. He had a tax evasion claim. He hit $4 million in tax money. He had a claim for bank fraud, essentially, for lying to banks to get a loan. And to make all these cases go away, he also pled guilty to campaign finance violations. Okay. So let me stop you there. Let me stop you there. So Cohen, you're saying, is not going to be prosecuted on the other allegations against him.
Starting point is 00:16:42 because he has agreed to testify against Donald Trump. That's what you're saying, right? He pled guilty to all those claims. It was a package deal for tax fraud, for bank fraud, for campaign finance violations of the hedge fund. So he pled guilty to all that to make it all go away. The campaign finance one was the weakest claim of all. And now Alvin Bragg is saying, but he had to say that he would give the government something in return and that something is his testimony, right? He gets the testimony, right?
Starting point is 00:17:13 Okay. So he pled guilty. I want to walk through this because it's complicated. Is there any evidence that's been put forth that you know of, because I don't know of it, that the money paid to Ms. Daniels to keep quiet, and you rightly say that's not a crime. But it would be a crime if it came out of campaign finance funds, funds that were supposed to be used to propel a candidate in an election, right? Yeah, arguably. But that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:17:42 They never went after Trump for that. Those charges were not brought against him. They went after Cohen, and he is the one who pled guilty. So now it's taken one more step. So you didn't get Trump on any campaign finance allegations. And by the way, John Edwards, who ran for Vice President, had a very similar case. He had hush money he gave out. He was indicted for campaign finance irregularities and violations.
Starting point is 00:18:03 He won. He won. So the only other case, right? Yeah, he was acquitted. The only other case that comes anywhere near this, The politician won. It was not a campaign finance. What would you have expected Donald Trump to write on his books
Starting point is 00:18:14 and making a campaign expenditure for hush money? That would look far worse than giving money to his lawyer to pay the money, right? But Alvin Bragg is taking this set of facts and saying, okay, not illegal to give money to keep somebody quiet. There's no case on campaign finance that was prosecuted. We're going to go for falsifying business records. That's the actual charge. 34 felony counts falsifying business records.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Who is the victim here that is being hurt by these alleged falsified business records, right? There was no campaign finance violation found, so they're alleging that, okay, despite that, we're still alleging there's this other crime. You didn't keep your books right. I mean, this is ridiculous that they're going to these lengths to go after President Trump, and they're going to use Michael Cohen as their star witness when now he's most famous for lying to Congress and going to jail for making false bank statements and lying on his taxes. This is the best they got. Well, they got Hope Hicks now coming in on this case. Former President and Advisor, presidential advisor, used to be Trump's friend.
Starting point is 00:19:16 I don't know what Hope Picks could know or it's got to be hearsay. I mean, she's not in the accounting meetings, but they have press meetings. But here's my theory, Roger, and you tell me if I'm off. I don't think Bragg or the press or anybody else cares whether Trump's convicted or not. They just want six weeks of smearing him. That's what they want. And if he gets off, they'll go, oh, but they just want to put him in a position where they can denigrate him and smear him consecutively for that long a period of time. That's what I think it is.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Yeah, and you see the right end on the wall. They're doing everything they can to prevent him from being the next president of the United States. And that means doing this sort of campaign. I think most people agree with that. Right. Now, the gag order is, but the gag order goes along with what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:20:14 So there's a judge issue as a gag order that Trump, you can't talk about the case. So the media came on wild for six weeks and accuse him of everything under the sun, which they will, but Trump now can't reply to it. That's right.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Right. His best tool is being able to speak and make his case that he's going to go back and reform justice system because it's been weaponized it's looking like we're a third world country where you have these forces abusing the court system and abusing the law to go after the political enemies this case never worse than a third world in trump in my opinion it's worse you're familiar with the nuremberg trials right yes right okay so that's what this is this is a condemnation of an individual
Starting point is 00:21:05 And in the Nuremberg trials, they were stacked in with the Third Reich hierarchy. Okay? And, you know, and we say Third World, which means the dictator dictates who gets convicted and who doesn't. Here, Trump will have a jury. Now, it's a Manhattan jury. That's very, very difficult for Trump. But what the government is trying to do here, the government of New York, by the way, let's separate it. Governor in New York is trying to destroy him through innuendo. They know the press will crucify him, and now he's under a gag order that he can't reply. I think, come on. Yeah, well, I mean, the Nuremberg trials were just trials, and they had process.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Here, you're having an abuse of process and persecution purely for political reasons, right? And the gag order is trying to take away Donald Trump's voice. One of his key points is he's going to reform the justice system to reverse. prevent this sort of abuse from happening, that he's prevented from talking about those very abuses in real time. Or to correct the record as he sees it, but his attorneys better be on it, I'll tell you that. It's going to be a day-by-day horror show. Roger, thanks very much for helping us out. I really appreciate it. If you pick anything up in this trial that you feel is especially egregious or that, you know, people aren't understanding. Just give us a tooth
Starting point is 00:22:24 we'll throw you right back on, okay? Thank you for helping us out. Thank you. Right. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about.
Starting point is 00:23:12 The juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, new poll, PBS. PBS is as far left as we could possibly go. I just shouldn't say that MSNBC's worse than PBS. All right, so the poll is about violence. This is a provocative question.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Do you agree or disagree that Americans may have to resort? to violence in order to get the country back on track 20% agree and 79% say no so i got a letter today from a guy um and uh he said uh what about resistance what about you know are we at the point and i go if you resist at the ballot box and vote for people you want to vote for or you sign up for campaigns or you give money to candidates you like that's fine you break the law they're going to come after you and they're come after you hard. You know, you're not going to get the drug dealer treatment. So if you resist the government, they will come after you with a vengeance. Don't think you're going to get no bail. You're not. You break the law, your life's going to be ruined.
Starting point is 00:24:38 But anyway, 20% agree that violence is necessary to get the country back on track. I disagree with that. You have friends with different political point of view. 81% say, yeah, I do. strongly disagree, 17%. Don't live in a bubble. I have liberal friends. I like those people. They don't go too extreme around me because then I would really ruthlessly make fun of them.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I use humor and sarcasm to deal with these people. Final question, all immigrants who came to the USAL legally should they be deported. Agree 51% of the American population, according to PBS, want all. illegal aliens deported. I've never seen a number that strong. 47 do not. All right, let's go down to the border. So the Border Patrol tells us 182 Chinese citizens were recently apprehended by the Border Patrol. Chinese. Okay? So they tried to en masse,
Starting point is 00:25:43 182 of them, try to get across on Tuesday of this week. So they round them up. They all ask for asylum. Communist nation, China, they say they're in danger. This is the game. All right. Twenty-two thousand Chinese nationals have been apprehended by the Border Patrol since October 1st. 22,000. That means they had to fly from China, Hong Kong, wherever, to Mexico, city, and then make their way up. A number of these people tell the Border Patrol, TikTok directed them. I have no idea. idea. And the Chinese government itself puts out pamphlets telling people how to get into the U.S. illegally. I don't, I can't confirm that. But there is a flood of Chinese nationals coming into
Starting point is 00:26:35 this country. 22,000 since October is a big number. Joe Biden care about that? No, he does not. Remember, these people are being released into our country unsupervised, along with the criminals of MS-13 in El Salvador and all the other people. It's believable. Really, it's, you know, I'm looking as a historian. Is this ever happened before it has not? It has never happened before in our country. This massive lawbreaking sanctioned by the President of the United States.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Let's go to Ohio. It's not just in New York. So this is Butler County, Ohio. A man named Garcia Gutierrez, illegal and only 48 years old, deported seven times, and he's still out on the street. Previous charges, possession drugs, carrying conceal a weapon, obstructing official business, on and on and on and on. He kills, allegedly, according to the police, all right? he kills an unidentified male, which has got to be another undocumented migrant. This guy, Gutierrez, kills him, deported seven times.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Now think back, think back. Kate Steinley, guy who killed her, deported six times. That was 2015, nine years ago. And it's worse now than it was nine years ago. despite all my efforts to try to get a case law passed. Massachusetts, one of the most liberal states, you know, second home, Boston's my second home.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Boston is not out of control crime-wise, by the way. And I'm going to do a big report on that. It's one of the few major American cities that has crime and homelessness under control. But I don't really know how they're doing it, but I'll find out. But anyway, Massachusetts has perhaps the best medical facilities in the country. Rivals New York. One of the big ones is
Starting point is 00:28:41 Mass General Brigham. Okay. So they've announced Mass General Brigham that babies born with drugs in the baby's bloodstream will no longer be immediately reported to state welfare agencies. Because just the fact that the pregnant mother giving birth through an addicted baby, that's, it's, they actually say this, okay? A positive toxicology report does not tell you anything about someone's ability to parent. This is what Mass General Brigham says. Is that insane? Of course it's insane. Now it always comes back to the hospital went on and say it's part of their effort to remove racism in health care. Because most addicted babies are from mothers of color, they're not going to inform the state facility.
Starting point is 00:29:38 So the baby not only is addicted to drugs and has to be weaned off the drugs, but then goes back to a home where the mother is a drug addict. But that's okay. It's all right because we don't want to demonize anybody. The two women who are directing this insane policy that puts babies at grave risk are Dr. Sarah Wakeminton, Senior Medical Director, and Dr. Allison Bryant, Mass Brigham's Chief Health Equity Officer.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Ooh, Chief Health Equity Officer, of course. Okay, now, this all goes back to the same thing. It's whether it's illegal aliens, collapsing border, crime in the same. streets, not protecting babies. It's all under the same banner. Progressive politics. Horrible. All right, here's some good news. So you'll remember that I did a bunch of reporting on Mark Zuckerberg, who gave hundreds of millions of dollars to political organizations in the 2020 presidential race. We don't know where that money actually went and what happened to it. It's estimated $332 million, if you can believe that. Okay. So on January 2nd of this year, I had a discussion
Starting point is 00:31:22 with Dr. William Doyle, who is an election expert, roll the tape. I've been saying from the jump that the Zuckerberg infusion of $400 million into five states has been unexplained, it is dangerous. What say you? I think the Zuckbuck's thing that by which he funneled $332 million through the Center for Technology and Civic Life and about $75 million for the Center for Election, Innovation, and Research. It is the big story of the 2020 election, in my view. And it has never been defined. And most of that money went to harvest Biden votes in the five states.
Starting point is 00:32:17 But nobody's investigated it. But we don't know who did it, who got the money. We don't know anything. We're blacked out. And now we're approaching another presidential election. So the people of Wisconsin put it on the ballot, and 54% said we don't want outside money in our elections. So it is now a law in Wisconsin that it's a constitutional amendment that outside donations from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and others cannot be used. And if it is used, those donations are used, then you can be prosecuted criminals.
Starting point is 00:32:58 way to go voters of Wisconsin but it's 54% so 46% want the outside monies give that in mind now 27 states have similar laws against Zuckerberg and others coming in and trying to buy the election that means 23 don't it's the same converse and as I've been reporting from the very beginning, states control the votes. So people running around like Giuliani and Sidney Powell and all that saying fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud, vote was crooked and election was crooked and Trump won and all of this. They would have had to analyze all of the vote counts in all the states. They can't. Nobody could. It's on the states to analyze their own vote count. Now, Florida cleaned it up. You remember the Gore Bush race in 2000 was absolutely
Starting point is 00:34:03 out of control, panging chads, this and that, Broward County. They cleaned it up. It's doable. But the mistake that people make is that they say the election was a fraud, you can't possibly prove that without a massive federal investigation with subpoena power. All right? And the Dominion voting machines and there was never any evidence presented. Ever. That's why they got to so much trouble. People believe what they want to believe. Donald Trump believes the 20 election was fraudulent. Maybe you do too. And you are entitled to that belief. You cannot state it as fact. But this goes a long way, eliminating. the Mark Zuckerbergs of the world, eliminating their influence, is really what is needed.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Well, the 60% of Americans say the country is heading in the wrong direction. This is no surprise. Center Square voters voice poll, Republican 42, Democrat 45, right direction 29, wrong direction 62. Don't out and drain. As I said, Trump should be up by 20. But he's not. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkis going to be impeached, all right? And that comes April 10th, two charges, will not enforce U.S. immigration law and has made false statements to Congress. So it's going to the Senate. Senator Schumer will get it. He'll get rid of it as fast as he can.
Starting point is 00:35:44 He won't be convicted. And then finally, on this front, Joe Biden is not going to. to be impeached. It's too much danger for the Republican Party to do it, and they don't have any central evidence. I mean, many people believe that Joe Biden benefited financially, but there's no beyond a reasonable doubt evidence at this point. So it's now April, vote is in November. It's not going to be impeachment. You heard it here. I'm not going to get into this transgender day visibility thing on Easter Sunday. I think it was ridiculous. If they wanted to have some transgender visibility announcement, it should have done it today after the Holy Week was over.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Now, is there linkage between transgender and religion? Not really, but some conservative religious people will be appalled. The Biden administration just went and ran with this on Easter Sunday. Oh, come on. It's awful. Just really. Smart life. All right. So on May 5th, 2022, almost two years ago, the stock market was getting hammered. And I said to you, because I cannot give you direct financial advice or medical advice for you concierge members. You can't ask me what to do if you have leprosy because I don't know. And I can't tell you what to do with your money. But I told you two years ago that I was not selling into the stock market declining. Well, now the stock market is just about at an all-time high. And gold is at an all-time high.
Starting point is 00:37:28 $2,264 an ounce of gold, all-time high. Okay. What am I doing now? I sold some stock today. stocks that I didn't really perform real well, but they got to the breaking point, and I said, you know, I'm in now. Because what goes up, as you know, comes down. So it's rolling now to market, but anything in the world happens. Anything happens. It's down 2,000 points. So I have stops on my individual stocks. That means if I have Apple, Apple sells for this amount of money at a share. I tell my broker, when it hits this amount of money, you automatically sell. That is a stop. And I'm putting them on, a lot of them because I don't think the market is just going to roar and roar and roar. I think there's going to be some pullbacks. Now, if there's a stock that I want to
Starting point is 00:38:33 keep forever, then I don't do that on that stock. And there are about five or six, I have legacy stocks. Finally, a lot of people, me included, have mutual funds. We're a basket of stocks that are managed by various operations. And I buy them through my stock broker at Morgan Stanley. I use them. They're not better than Merrill Lynch or the other one, but my friends work there and I use my friends.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Okay, you should consult with your financial advisor about those funds. Okay, what you can do to protect the gains that you have. That's a consultation you should have within the next two weeks. Smart life. Money is power. We all work hard. Most of us work hard for our money. We want to be very smart with it. Okay, let's go to the final thought of the day four months ago. my Corgi, Holly the Terradog, was operated on to remove a brain tumor.
Starting point is 00:39:41 She almost died. All right, the great vets out on Long Island Vet Association, out in Plainview, New York, saved her life. And the rehab on Holly is coming along very well. She's on medication, expensive medication. and her demeanor is almost back to normal with one exception she follows me around everywhere
Starting point is 00:40:08 now she didn't use to do that but now she does and I when I'm studying Holly and I call it a tarot dog is when she was a puppy and we got her and she's a full bread corgi
Starting point is 00:40:23 she ate the living room I mean one of those you know but anyway Holly knows howley knows somehow instinctively because dogs can't really process information she knows what happened to her and how close she was and now she's home in a very safe environment which I have and everybody in my house is safe that's my number one job on earth is to keep the people around me safe and I do
Starting point is 00:40:56 all right now it has cost an enormous amount of money to save holly's life and so i did not have pet insurance right i didn't i should have um and that was my website so then we have investigated this because obviously um would be a hundred million american a pet i mean almost that many. It's crazy. Policy advisor, policy, P-A-W-L-I-C-Y, Paw-L-C-Y-L-C-Y.com, that is an advisory internet site for pets, and they give you different avenues of ensuring your pet. Take what you want. But if your pet gets sick, An event was very, very honest to me, because you have to be. You can't be deceiving me. That's not a good course of action.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Most pet owners would have put Holly down. Because they didn't have the resources to save her, they didn't have it. Not $40,000. And it's going to be more because the medication is ongoing. Now, I couldn't do that. I just, I just couldn't. I don't even think about it. It wasn't even a hard decision for me.
Starting point is 00:42:22 But I was thinking about people who didn't have resources, that if you have a pet that you love, particularly if the pet's not old, because the older the pet is and insurance gets out of control, you look around. It averages about $640 a year. This is what our researchers come up with for dogs, about $400 for cats. That's what the insurance averages, the cost. And, you know, I mean, you've got to think about it. You definitely have to think about it.
Starting point is 00:42:53 So I wanted to give you that information. We're very pleased Holly is running around. I don't mind her following me around. By the way, I look down, she's little, so I don't want to kick her. But everywhere I go there's Holly and looking at me going, and Holly knows. It's really an amazing thing, but these pets know. We have no idea, but they know a lot more than we think they know. Thank you for watching and listening to the No Spin News. See you again tomorrow.
