Starting point is 00:00:00 So the best election coverage in the universe, not just the country, continues this evening, you are now watching and listening to it. Pretty egotistical for me to say that, right? but what does best mean? And then when I tell you what it means, you're going to, I think, agree with me. So when I say we have the best coverage, this is why.
Starting point is 00:00:40 No deceit, most important. We will never deceive you no matter what happens, not only in election coverage, but in our reporting on all stories. No propaganda zone. That's like the no spin zone, But propaganda is a little bit different. Propaganda is a well-thought-out campaign to deceive you.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Okay? And propaganda and deceit go hand in hand. We don't allow that, which is why you don't see campaign surrogates on this program very much. Once in a while, if there's a news value. But I don't put on mouthpieces. All right? Because it's ridiculous. Why waste your time with that?
Starting point is 00:01:19 No rooting. Now, I've made it very clear, I think Kamala Harris is a danger to traditional America. But other people see it differently. They don't want or like traditional America. They don't want to change everything. Now, I'm not rooting for one side of the other because if I do that, then I'm going to spin the coverage and I'm not, I just won't do it. All right?
Starting point is 00:01:42 Number four is we are always ahead of the story. And I don't have to convince you unless you just come on board that I was first on the Biden's not going to run again. I pretty much 90% on my predictions are accurate. Because I don't base them on emotion, I base them on facts. So you add all that up. No deceit, no propaganda, no rooting, and we're ahead of the story. Presto, you got the best coverage. The Talking Points memo this evening is about how the Trump campaign
Starting point is 00:02:14 is going after Vice President Harris. They're calling her now Kamala Camelian. She is obviously moving from the far left trying to get to the center a little bit because the Democrats don't believe that Americans will elect a far-left candidate. And we saw that obviously when she adopted Trump's No Tax for Tips. Okay? And her handlers are saying, look, all you got to do is get elected. Then we can go back to be in Bernie Sanders.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Elizabeth Warren, but you got to get elected first. So here's how Harris is presenting herself. Go. We know our immigration system is broken, and we know what it takes to fix it. Comprehensive reform that includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship. And that's so much nonsense I can't even believe that the woman is standing up there and saying it and people are, you know, these lemmings in the audience,
Starting point is 00:03:28 okay, so let's just break it down word by word. We know our immigration system is broken. Well, you've been in office three and a half years, lady, and you've denied it's been broken all that time. And now you know, suddenly, it's broken. Oh, yeah, now we know. And we know how to fix it. Well, you made it worse.
Starting point is 00:03:52 You haven't fixed anything down there. And it's because of your administration that we have this horror to begin with. It was under control in Trump's last year. These are facts. Okay? That includes strong border security, which you have lobbied against. You, Kamala Harris, wouldn't even go to the border, wouldn't even talk to the border, control. But now we want to be strong down there. And a pathway to citizenship. Now there,
Starting point is 00:04:25 she's telling the truth. That's the only truthful thing she said. They want amnesty. Believe me, if Kamala Harris is elected and the Democrats control the House and Senate, all migrants in this country undocumented, except for those convicted of criminal offenses, will be American citizens. all of them. That's what they want. So, with this tough border stance, the Republicans are going to go, Oh, Kamala Camillion based on the 1983 song by boy George. Go. Two Dixotechions, you come and go, you come and go. Come, come, come, come, come to me, you come and go. You come and go.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Good tune. Sold a million and a half copies in Great Britain, number one there. I won a Grammy Culture Club and a boy George in 1984, best new artists. Okay. Anyway, that's what this Kamala chameleon thing's all about in case you didn't know. Now, the political equation of the Trump administration bringing out that Kamala Harris is changing her positions and actually stealing stuff from Trump doesn't matter. You can state it, I would, but it's not going to matter.
Starting point is 00:06:11 because, again, this is an anti-Trump vote. Maybe 15% of people are voting for Kamala Harris. The other 85% that will vote Democrat voting against Trump. Same thing. I don't think the numbers are going to be as big. I don't think Kamala Harris is going to get close to 81 million popular votes. But it's, again, the same thing on Trump. Yes or no, on him.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Harris is just there. Now, if Trump accepts my analysis, and I don't know if he does or not, the way to attack the anti-Trump thing is to inject some charm into your campaign, which the former president has not done. Right after he was shot, and at the first 20 minutes of the Republican convention, speech, he did. But then it vanished. Now, I've been with Trump enough over the 32-year period of our friendship or acquaintanceship, whichever you want to define it, okay? The guy's funny. The guy can be very charming. He knows how to do that. It's not like Jimmy Carter, where
Starting point is 00:07:29 Jimmy Carter was all front, big smile and all that, but boy, he was not comfortable with people. Trump came walk into a room. I've seen him do it 100 times. He's got to take a little bit of that and use it on a campaign trail if he wants to tamp down that hate Trump vote. All right. Finally, on the talking points tonight, the polls don't matter now at all. They will matter September 15th. You know, we always recommend that you have a pen and paper watching or listening to the no-spin news. Because that'll be five days after the debate, and people will digest what they'll.
Starting point is 00:08:10 they saw in the debate, and then the polls will start to matter. From September 15th to Election Day, I'll report on the polls that I believe are honest. But now, they don't matter at all. So if you're experiencing angst about polling, that's self-destructive. Okay, it doesn't matter. And finally, it could go either way. You know, we had the poll question on Bill O'Reilly.com, and the majority of people said, yeah, Kamala Harris can win. And she can. Trump should win. He's got it all over her on the issues. But she could win. And that's a memo. The EU.
Starting point is 00:08:57 I don't like the EU. I got to tell you. I mean, I understand the economic and, you know, combination. I got it, but I have no use for them. So they threatened Elon Musk. The EU threatened him. A guy named Theory Breton, Frenchman, Commissioner for Internal Market of the European Union, writes a letter to Musk saying this, quote, therefore we are monitoring the potential risks in the EU associated with the dissemination of content that may incite violence, hate and racism in conjunction with major political or societal events around the world, including debates and interviews in the context of elections, unquote. Well, that could be anything.
Starting point is 00:09:43 So then theory goes on to say that if the EU thinks that Trump said anything insightful, they're going to take sanctions against Musk, the threat letter. This is really insulting. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. national debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver, through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door, or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your
Starting point is 00:10:33 existing IRA or 401k, tax and penalty-free. With billions and precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau, you can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-55-7576 or text bill to 99-89-89-again. And that's 866-326-5576 or text bill to 998899. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week, I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the President of the United States.
Starting point is 00:11:32 These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. Elon Musk is running a company, all right? That company is a practiser. a free speech. I don't care what theory Breton thinks about anything. Why would I? I lose in Brussels. He's a snob. Why would I care about it? But to threaten an American citizen because you
Starting point is 00:12:11 don't like or you think something's insightful. Now, this is all about the stabbing in Great Britain. And Great Britain's not even a member of the EU. You remember they pulled out because of the unlimited migration. So English people said no, we don't want that. And we're out. But this African stabbed these little girls
Starting point is 00:12:37 in Northern Italy and Northern England and now the far right and they if you think America's got far right you ought to see these people in Great Britain talk about far right. They're out there in fomenting violent demonstrations. That's what this is all about because the EU is very worried about this.
Starting point is 00:13:00 It's happening in Germany. It's happening in other countries. Where the far right is using the migrant chaos, which is everywhere, by the way, even Sweden has very strict laws against migrants coming into that country. Even Sweden. Okay? That's what this is all about. So the EU would warn him, you bet it's not say anything. about these illegal aliens or we're going to knock you off the air. We, Bill O'Reilly.com,
Starting point is 00:13:31 can't get our outfit, our organization on in a lot of these EU countries because they don't believe in free speech. So Americans run over there to Europe. Oh, we're going to Europe for the summer. We're going here. We're going there. Just know where you're going. Not America. got. They don't value free speech over there. Now, I'm blanketing the whole continent. Some countries are way much, way better than other countries about that. Okay, Time Magazine. So remember Time Magazine, if you're above 40 years old, was the dominant news magazine in America at one time. Circulation above 4 million. Okay? And it was a weekly. I had a subscription to it. It was good. they did a good job okay now the circulation is down at a 1.3 million and they only publish
Starting point is 00:14:26 twice monthly not weekly and most of that at 1.3 is online you cannot buy time magazine on a newsstand you got to subscribe to it all right so in addition to that it's not owned by time warner anymore it's owned by sales force ink this is unbelievable sales force and Inc. is an American cloud-based software company based in San Francisco. They know nothing about journalism. Nothing. Okay. So they put Kamala Harris on the cover of the latest Time magazine.
Starting point is 00:15:06 It's a little bit like Joan of Arc, right? And they write a puff piece article about her. Now, she insulted Time Magazine because they asked for, for an interview and she said, I'm not going to give you an interview. They get a puff piece anyway. Quote, suddenly, she seems matched to the moment. A former prosecutor running against a convicted felon, a defender of abortion rights, rang as a man who helped overturn Roe v. Wade, a next generation Democrat running as a 78-year-old Republican. Perhaps above all, she has given Americans one thing, the overwhelmingly told her postures they
Starting point is 00:15:47 wanted a credible alternative to two unpopular old men who've held the job of the past eight long years unquote that sounds like a real objective assessment right it's it the the woman who wrote it and this is another great story is named charlotte alter hey charlotte okay who is she she's the daughter of the notorious jonathan alter remember that name this is a far-left loon who worked for Newsweek magazine who embraces every single liberal tenant there is with no dissent
Starting point is 00:16:29 ever Charlotte is his daughter and she's writing a piece on Kamala Harris you know you would get more honest coverage from Mad magazine than Time magazine. Nobody knows any of this.
Starting point is 00:16:52 They don't know who's running Time magazine. They don't know who Charlotte Alter is. It's just propaganda after propaganda after propaganda. All right. Let's get on the sanctuary cities. So you have been very explicit here in saying it's simple. This is a quote from Senator Vance. We're going to end sanctuary cities.
Starting point is 00:17:12 So how are you going to do that? Well, look, why does Sanctuary? cities exist, Bill, because they get a lot of federal money in order to serve illegal aliens over American citizens. This is really about cutting off the money spigot here. You can, of course, you know, wave the magic wand and... You and Donald Trump would say, we're not sending any federal money unless you cooperate with ICE. That's pretty simple. I think you, exactly. That's exactly right. And you guys are going to do that? You're going to implement that? Because in his first four years, Donald Trump did not do that. Bill, I think that we have to. And I think that to defend
Starting point is 00:17:45 Donald Trump in his first term here, Bill, you have to remember, one, a lot of the Republican Party was fighting him on his immigration agenda. I think that'll be much different the second time around. And the second thing, Bill, is you mentioned the ACLU lawsuits. A lot of the litigation, a lot of the immigration enforcement was stalled in the first few years of the Trump administration. And he still got a lot done to be clear, but he could have gotten more done if the courts hadn't been fighting him. A lot of those court cases have actually worked through the system. in a way that's favorable to immigration enforcement. A very fundamental principle of immigration enforcement law
Starting point is 00:18:20 is the president gets to do what he wants to do. He has broad discretion to enforce our immigration laws. And I think Joe Biden demonstrated that. That's exactly right. You know, Joe Biden wouldn't enforce the law. It's an impeachable offense, in my opinion, but, you know, because the Democrats control of the Senate, they didn't even bother it.
Starting point is 00:18:38 All right, let's get on to another interesting statement that you made. that I want, this is Senator Vance again, I want to expand the child tax credit, I want to stop those surprise medical bills. All right, now the expansion of the child tax credit, that's obvious. But you agree with the Democrats on that. And that's not a bad thing, all right?
Starting point is 00:19:01 But when you say, I want to stop surprise medical bills, then you're going into the private medical sector and telling them, this is what Kamala Harris is, is spouting all the time. Well, we're going to price control food. We're going to price control big pharma. That's not going to happen because they're private concerns. Do you have a way that you could stop surprise medical bills? Well, so first of all, Bill, just on the child tax credit, to give Donald Trump some credit here, it was actually his legislation back in 2017 that first expanded the child tax credit for the first time in a very long time. And of course,
Starting point is 00:19:38 Kamala Harris bought that legislation every step of the way, in fact, voted against it. So I don't think that we should give the Democrats credit here when they say that they're pro-expanding the child tax credit. The one big opportunity in my lifetime where it happened, Donald Trump did it, Republican supported it, and Democrats fought it every step of the way. But stopping surprise medical bills, I don't think you can do that. Well, here's the way that I've thought about this bill. And we've actually worked on legislation during my time in the Senate to work on this. Take, for example, a situation that I've experienced just in my family, and I'm a very lucky guy. This is not the sort of thing that broke the bank, but it could be for a lot of middle-class families
Starting point is 00:20:16 where you go to the hospital, your wife delivers a beautiful baby, you're excited about it, and then through the process of dealing with all of the shots and the vitamins and the things that are necessary for that new baby, you accidentally, and sometimes through no knowledge of your own, go to an out-of-network provider for a particular service, and you get home with your beautiful baby a few weeks later, and you get a shockingly high medical bill, I think that there are actually real solutions that exist to be able to solve that problem. The question is, when you have these surprise and totally unforeseen circumstances, who should bear the burden of that, the immigration, or excuse me, the insurance companies or the American family? I think that it's
Starting point is 00:21:00 totally reasonable. What would the federal law look like to stop that? Well, it would basically say that if through no fault of your own, you engage in an out-of-network, you engage in an out-of-network medical provider in order to provide benefits for your family, you don't get stuck with the bill. The insurance company and the hospital should bear the burden of making sure that all of the insurance stuff is worked out. Not a new mom who gave birth to a baby three hours before and is probably exhausted. And really, it's just a question of where do you put the burden. I think it's reasonable. But look, I believe in markets and I certainly reasonable, but writing the bill, I wouldn't want to write that bill. But we're working on one right now
Starting point is 00:21:40 in the United States Senate to that effect. And I will look at it, of course. Please do. Let's go on to another quote. Senator Vance, we are going to stand up to soft on crime prosecutors. So now the federal government is intruding on the state and local governments. And you know you can't do that. So here in New York, where I am, we have the worst, the worst, Alvin Bragg. Yeah. You know, the worst. You can't touch him. Can you? I disagree, Bill. Go ahead. No, no. How are you going to get them? Because listen, if you got away, I'm right behind you. He's killing the city. Look, I think there's a carrot and there's a stick you can use with some of these local prosecutors. And again, you have to talk about the purse strings. That's where you start with this,
Starting point is 00:22:29 So, look, if you're a local prosecutor, police officer brings in the bad guy and you let a person walk Scott Free who committed a violent crime, that I think the federal government should be willing to say, look, we're not going to give you all of those law enforcement resources that exist in the federal budget. We're going to be a little bit more willing to use some discipline and how we disperse those funds if you're not going to use them to actually bring in the bad guys. You're going to strangle them. But one other point on this bill, because I think it's very important. When I talk to police officers and I say, what is your biggest problem? What are the ways in which these soft on crime prosecutors make your life harder? The thing the police tell me, it's fascinating, Bill, is they're easy on the bad guys, but they use the full force of their office to really go after the police officers who are, of course, prosecuting the bad guys.
Starting point is 00:23:17 I think that we have to ensure that our local police officers have the immunity necessary that prosecutors have, that judges have. We've got to give our police officers proper immunity so they can. can do their jobs. We protect them from these ridiculous lawsuits. We actually make it easier for them to do their job. Let's go to an issue that you and I disagree on, but maybe you have a new take on it, and that's Ukraine. So I'm a historian, and you know that, and I know what Putin's game is. It's obvious what he's done in Georgia, Belarus. He wants to restore the Soviet Union, and he's willing to kill hundreds of thousands of people to do it. from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics.

Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics,
Starting point is 00:24:42 business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast, listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. There is only one force on earth that can stop this man, that's the United States. And we have NATO help. Okay. So I am a person who says you've got to stop Putin in Ukraine. And that means you got to arm the Ukrainians and you have to give them humanitarian aid. Am I wrong?
Starting point is 00:25:20 Well, here's where I disagree on some of where you're at, Bill. I don't think that we can arm Ukraine indefinitely because I think that what it is ultimately done is one, it's subsidized the Europeans and allowed them to not take responsibility. And it also, there's no real end in sight to our present Ukraine policy. So let me sort of start where we do agree. I don't think that Russia should have invaded Ukraine. And we have to give some due credit here to our good friend, the former president, where everybody accused him of being in bed with Vladimir Putin. But when Donald Trump was president, Vladimir Putin didn't invade his neighbors. He did, of course, during the administration of Obama, the administration of Kamala Harris and the administration, even of George W. Bush, of course, a fellow Republicans.
Starting point is 00:26:01 So let's give some credit. I don't think Vladimir Putin would have invaded Ukraine if Donald Trump had been president and he had some deterrence established. I agree with that assessment. Not saying you disagree. There's some magic between Putin and Trump that nobody, I've asked Trump 15 times what it is. He won't tell me. But I think it's tough, but I also think that Donald Trump is smart when he engages with people, Bill. he actually talks to them and engages in real diplomacy. But let's go back to like, what do we do now? Okay, so we're in the situation now.
Starting point is 00:26:28 What do we do now? Okay. So here, every European country says that they're going to spend at least 2% of GDP on defense. Most of them haven't actually honored that commitment. So what needs to happen in my view is that NATO, Europe, needs to focus on Russia and Ukraine so that America can pivot to the real challenge for us, which is China. And I don't think, Bill, unfortunately, that we have the manufacturing capacity. Because we shipped our industrial base overseas, we don't make enough artillery shells. We don't make enough Patriot Interceptors to support the war in Ukraine indefinitely.
Starting point is 00:27:04 So we have to ask ourselves, where can we focus, where do we have to focus? And my view is, let's focus on China and let's force the Europeans to carry more of their share. I hope you guys will rethink this thing. Trump knows he can't say publicly what is going to do, but I think this is really vital because this Putin, he's really a mentally unbalanced man, in my opinion. You cannot let him win there. But I'm confident if Trump got in, there would be some day taunt there. Last question for you. I hear you, Bill, and I understand just one final point on that if I might. Sure, sure. I think certainly Russia is in a world of her. I also think Ukraine is in a world
Starting point is 00:27:48 of her. And again, we have to ask ourselves, can this go on indefinitely? I don't like the Biden administration approach of basically saying, we're just going to keep on doing this thing, however long it takes with no strategy, no end in sight. I think Donald Trump actually does have a plan to bring about an end of the conflict. Of course, you're exactly right. He's not going to telegraph it. But I think that Donald Trump is actually the president of peace and stability in the world. We're going to see that when we reelect him. Hopefully, because stability and the world is paramount and we got to stop these people all right last question this is a little bit lighter so you and Oprah winfrey were best butts all right and uh Oprah on the uh tv last night
Starting point is 00:28:34 at democratic convention she wasn't mean to you she mocked you about the cat lady stuff which believe me is about as inconsequential a statement as i've ever seen i knew what you were trying to do you were mocking liberal feminists who you know, don't really respect the family unit. However, Oprah's up there. She helped your tremendous success, literary success. Did you see it? And what is your reaction to it? Well, first of all, I don't know if it's tremendous literary success compared to you, Bill. I think you probably sold more books than anybody I've ever talked to. Believe me, your books are classic. And to get Amy Adams into your movie, I mean, my God.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I mean, Opie did a good job, Ron Howard. He did, he did. Amy was lights out and I mean, but Oprah helped you and loved, liked you. I mean, you guys had a good relationship and now there's Oprah up there. I don't know what Oprah actually said. I was trying to figure it out, but she was in Mississippi and then she's someplace else. I don't know. But what was your reaction personally to it? You know, I try not to take this stuff too seriously, Bill.
Starting point is 00:29:43 When you enter the public arena, people are going to attack you. I wish Oprah all the best. and I wish, more importantly, that Oprah had talked about what Kamala Harris has done instead of what Kamala Harris will do. My criticism of yesterday is the entire theme of this was about what Kamala Harris, her vision, what she will do when she's been the sitting vice president for three and a half years. We have higher inflation, higher housing prices and lower wages because of it. These people have got to stop talking about Kamala Harris as if she hasn't been the vice president for three and a half years. So I'm going to keep it, whether it's Oprah or anybody else, I'm going to keep it focused on policy. I wish Oprah all the best, but I want her candidate to lose because I want the American people to thrive.
Starting point is 00:30:26 All right. And just keep this in mind. Vice President Harris has been on the federal scene for seven and a half years. Four in the Senate, no bill got even voted on that she was associated with, none. And then as Vice President, as everybody knows, she backed Biden 100 percent on her. all those failed policies. So I wasn't too bad, right? I know your people were saying O'Reilly's too mean and all less, but I wasn't too bad, was it? Not bad at all, man again. I'm honored to speak with you. I've been a big fan for a long time, so hopefully we can do it again. All right,
Starting point is 00:31:01 Senator. Anytime and my best of the president. Thanks for taking the time today. Thanks, Bill. Take care. Okay, so I hope you enjoyed it. Please let me know what you think. Bill at bill O'Reilly.com, bill at bill o'Reilly.com, name and town. Be brutal, as they say in the movie, the producers. If you think I booted it, let me know. All right, but I was, I learned a lot myself, and that's what I always want to do. Smart Live, booze. Some most people drink, most people I know drink, I don't drink, never have. And I got a lot of racist comments, like, you're Irish and you don't drink. I'm not offended. I guess I should be when people say, oh, you're Irish, you don't drink?
Starting point is 00:31:48 Like, every Irish person is an alcoholic? I go, no, if I drank, I'd be in a penitentiary, which is true. So if I tried to assess, I'd be up doing time. So anyway, I'm not a big booze guy. And because I haven't drank throughout my life, I estimated I. I have saved $1 million or more. Now, if you want to go out to drink in a decent place, it's $15 for a cocktail, maybe $20. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Why are you doing that? Now, I have a rule that I will not deal with intoxicated people. If you're drunk, I'm gone. Eat a little buzz. I don't care. It's up to you, a little wine or beer, whatever. But I don't interact with people who are needed. abbreviated. I don't. And if I see them getting in a car, I'll stop them, physically
Starting point is 00:32:47 stopped them. But I'm not, drugs I hate. I hate it. And there's no comparison between taking narcotics and having a glass of wine or a beer. None. They try to make it that way, but it isn't. Okay, I wanted you to know where I'm coming from when I report this story. So according to UK, going back to Great Britain, Biobank, they surveyed 135,000 adults studied them for 12 years their drinking habits. Their findings. Light drinking associated with a higher risk of cancer and other health problems, especially in low-income errors. Okay. Moderate drinking linked to higher risk of death.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Cancer and all other causes. Heavyer drinking means you're going to die soon. Cardiovascular, cancer, you name it. So Dr. Rosario Ortolla led this study, stated there's no beneficial association for drinking. None. Nothing good about it. That's his point of view. All right, there's a Gallup poll here in the United States.
Starting point is 00:34:06 all right it's conducted in july and found out 45% of americans all americans all right believe drinking alcohol in moderation that's one to two drinks a day unhealthy up six percentage points from last year 17 percentage points up from 2018 okay so half the population goes we know it's bad and But a lot of people just, they want to relax or to drink. You know, it's interesting, I can always tell when I get mail and somebody's drunk. Always, and it goes right in the bin.
Starting point is 00:34:51 But I can always tell. That's the smart life segment. And I'm not going to tell you not to drink. I'm not. Not my job. I'm not even going to advise. I tell you to cut down on the sugar. And if you're boozing it big, I'll tell you to cut down on that.
Starting point is 00:35:11 But if you want to have a glass of wine or a couple of beers, I mean, I've got no problem with that. All right, San Francisco. So August 1st, the last Denny's, which was on Mission Street, if you know, near Union Square, if you know the town. And I know it very well. Closed. So no more Denny's in San Francisco. Why? Because people were coming in.
Starting point is 00:35:35 They were ordering the Grand Suc. slam, and then they were running out the door. They weren't going to pay. Because they knew two things. That nobody's going to chase them out of Denny's. No personnel is going to chase them down the street. And even if they did, and they were caught, San Francisco wouldn't prosecute them. So why not go to Denny's or any other restaurant, eat your fill, and run out the door? Denny said, we can't do business here.
Starting point is 00:35:57 In addition, the hotel industry is collapsing in the city by the Bay, which is one of the most beautiful cities, just natural beauty in the country. in the world. So tax revenue this year, 253 million from the hotel industry in San Francisco. In 2019, before COVID, it was $408 million. It's a collapse. Revenue from rooms, they've had to drop the room rates. It's down 60 to 80 percent in the tourist hotels. Nobody's going. And they're not going because of a social disorder. Because if you walk around Union Square, you're going to be stopped 10 times, 12 times, and people are going to demand money from you. If you have children, they're going to gross the kids out. The only place that doesn't happen is
Starting point is 00:36:53 Chinatown. Very interesting. Last time I was in San Francisco. I have my son and my nephew with me, and we took the stroll up to Chinatown. No homeless, no social disorder at all, none. Across the street was a tenderloin district. There they are. Legions of addicted zombies. Just walk across the street. Not in Tintan.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Why? Because of the Tongs. T-O-N-G-S. It's a gang, criminal gang. They police Chinatown in San Francisco. And if you're bothering anybody there, you're not going to come out of there unbruised, if you know what I'm talking about. The town of town, no problem.
Starting point is 00:37:45 The rest of the town, social disorder, all over the place. And you know what? I don't feel sorry for them, the residents of San Francisco. You wanted it? You voted for them. You voted for him. by a lot. You want a progressive town, you got it. Now you got nowhere to eat. You got declining revenues all over the place. The real estate values are down. Everything's down. Plus, if you have children, you can't even go outside. You know his fault it is? Your fault. You cast the ballot.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Not everybody, obviously, but most. Outside the Democratic Convention, as I mentioned, Planned Parenthood was offering women free abortions. That's nice, isn't it? Isn't that nice? Because the Democratic Party not only is in the reproductive rights area, but they promote abortion. They think it's a noble thing, a good thing. Roll the tape. My friends, history is watching us.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Together, we must protect. abortion rights. And yes, she will restore abortion rights nationwide. Kamala Harris will sign a national law to restore the right to an abortion. She will fight for every woman and every girl. even those who are not fighting for her. Okay, fine. So Bill Clinton, abortion should be safe and rare. Now, hey, no limits, any time, any place, for any reason up until birth.
Starting point is 00:39:39 How did that happen? So I'm a Roman Catholic, you know that, all right? I respect my religion or I wouldn't be a Roman Catholic because I understand the theology of the religion. And Christianity, which is Protestants and, Orthodox and Roman Catholics, say that life begins at conception. That's what the theology believes, that we were created in the image of God. How could any Christian vote for Kamala Harris? You have to resign.
Starting point is 00:40:14 You disagree? Bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Smart life. New study by the U.S. State Department, 46% of Americans hold passports. It sets up from 30% in 2008. Here are the top 15 destinations overseas
Starting point is 00:40:33 that Americans travel to. Very interesting. Aruba, I will never go there because of the justice system. Remember that poor girl from Alabama was murdered and the Aruban authorities and even investigated. So no Aruba for me. San Salvador, that's expats.
Starting point is 00:40:51 from El Salvador going home. There's nothing in San Salvador, a very rough town. Delhi India, same thing, expats. Seoul, South Korea, same thing. These are people Korean descent that go home. Athens, Greece, nice town. You've got to watch yourself there, but it's a nice town. Nassau, Bahamas, very easy to get to.
Starting point is 00:41:13 You've got to watch yourself in Nassau now. It's a State Department warning because there's a lot of thugs running around. Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Again, that is Vietnamese who live here going home, but Saigon is fascinating. That is a fascinating city. Rome, Tokyo, Paris, their usual capitals. Manila to Philippines, that's Filipino Americans going back.
Starting point is 00:41:39 San Juan, very nice vacation if you can afford it. It is astronomically expensive. Montego Bay, Jamaica, beautiful. Watch your back front and side. a crime. Put Decana, Dominican Republic, safer, but you still got to watch it. And number one, London, England, where I'm going in a few weeks, I live there for a year, fabulous town. All right, here is the final thought of the day. So if you are a concierge member, you can write me about anything. And a lot of people are writing me saying they're panicking that Kamala Harris may
Starting point is 00:42:14 win the election. What should I do? And then they tell me their circumstance. All right, I have this much money or I live here or this is what I am going through or whatever. And then I give them a pathway. But panic itself does no good. You want some good advice. I will give it to you as best I can if you're a concierge member. So you might consider that. Do not panic. Many things will happen between now and November. Thank you for watching and listening to the NoSpin News. We'll see tomorrow.
