Starting point is 00:00:30 Ryan Reynolds here for MintMobile. With the price of just about everything going up, we thought we'd bring our prices down. So to help us, we brought in a reverse auctioneer, which is apparently a thing. MintMobile, Unlimited, Premium Wireless. How did it get 30, 30, a bit to get 20, 20, 20, 20, a bit to get 15, 15, 15, just 15 bucks a month.
Starting point is 00:00:48 So, give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch. Upfront payment of $45 for three month, plan equivalent to $15 per month required. New customer offer for first three months only. Speed slow after 35 gigabytes of networks busy. Taxes and fees extra. Thank you very good presentation, I thought. Caroline Levitt, 27 years old, youngest press secretary in history.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Been with Donald Trump for a while, worked on his campaign. It's from New Hampshire with the San Alms-Clems College, very good school, I think. Ran for Congress in New Hampshire, lost, but very articulate. She spoke a little too quickly today, but we can excuse that because she was nervous first time, big crowd. I'm going to use three of her sound bites throughout the program. But all in all, I think she handled so very well for 27-year-old. I'm thinking back, when I was 27, I did. couldn't possibly have done that. So she's way ahead of me where I was. Anyway, there were two
Starting point is 00:02:07 dominant themes in the press conference today. The first was immigration, of course, and the second was the suspension of some domestic spending announced by the Trump administration. We'll deal with the immigration first. Okay, so there's hysteria. being created by the media. And Ms. Levitt was very precise in answering a number of questions. She said, look, I've answered question four times. And she did. And here's the pithy part. Go. Every day, Americans are safer because of the violent criminals that President Trump's administration is removing from our communities. All right. So that is the Trump line, but there's something new here. So the Trump administration is defining all migrants who illegally enter the
Starting point is 00:03:05 United States as criminals. Now you remember on the books it is a civil offense. Are you a criminal if you get a speeding ticket? No. So this is a little bit of a change and it makes it easier to deport anybody that Trump administration wants to deport because they're basically saying, look, they're all criminals. That was new today and way, way different than what we have had in this country for, I don't know, since Ronald Reagan's amnesty, right? And I know why the Trump administration is doing it because they don't want to get involved with, well, this one did this and this one did that, and that one isn't there and this one isn't here. They don't want to do that. They want to say, look, if you enter the United States illegally or overstay your visa,
Starting point is 00:03:59 you're a criminal, and we have the right, the federal government's right, to deport you. That's it. Okay. And that's going to cause controversy. Now, there's a lot of misinformation lying, I guess, and I'm going to give you one very interesting story. So in Chicago, which is a sanctuary city, a guy who runs a public school system is named Pedro Martin. teen as very left-wing guy okay and he doesn't like any of this ice deportation stuff at all here's what he said go so we had individuals that came to one of our schools hamline elementary school
Starting point is 00:04:38 that presented credentials that are that and shared that they were from ice and so our our staff followed the protocols we're very clear we've been we've been training our principals our security regards, any front-office staff to make sure that, making sure that they know that we are not to share any information with anybody from the Immigration Department of Rice? Okay, so he's a sanctuary guy, but he didn't tell the truth about what happened. All right? So ICE agents did not go to the Hamline Elementary School. There were Secret Service agents who went because there was a threat that was being
Starting point is 00:05:21 investigated in the area, and one of the alleged people who were issuing the threats had something to do with Hamline School. So the ICE chair, Tom Holman, immediately lashed out against Mr. Martinez. Go. Well, Peter Martinez lied. He lied to the city of Chicago because he knew your secret service agents, because I talked to the people involved. They left their credentials. He knew exactly who were they. there, so he lied. Again, sowing fear in the immigrant community. And it looks like he did lie, Martinez. But I'm not sure. There might be some subtlety there that I don't know of, but right now it looks like he lied. And so did the governor of the
Starting point is 00:06:07 state, Pritzker, who is another far-left sanctuary guy. So Pristair issues a statement, says, quote, after a week of Republicans sewing fear and chaos, the first reports have raised in Chicago are at an elementary school, targeting children and separating families is cruel and un-American. Well, that's not what happened. And Holman called out Governor Prisker. Go. And Governor Prisker, rather than calling ICE and asking us, did this happen or did it not happen, he goes on social media and terrifies elementary schools, the ICE agents are walking in there. No, he accuses me at terrifying the community. No, he terrified the community. He terrified the children. You know what I used to yesterday?
Starting point is 00:06:49 They saved children. Okay, so you see how this is devolving. All right, each side is entrenched. They're going to say and do whatever they want to say and do. It's my job to ferret out the truth, and the truth is at Holman's right, and Pritzker and Martinez are not telling the truth. They're not. Now, the media is never going to call them on it because the media doesn't like
Starting point is 00:07:17 the Trump immigration program, but I will. In addition, you had a big press thing with Selena Gomez. So Selena Gomez is a young actress, 32 years old. She born in the United States, so were her parents. Okay, so she's not an immigrant or anything like that, but she's tied in to the whole immigration thing. Roll it. I just want to say that I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:07:53 All my people are getting attacked. The children. I don't understand. I'm so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can't. I don't know what to do. I'll try everything I promise. Now, obviously, the young woman is sincere, but nobody's getting attacked.
Starting point is 00:08:22 No children are getting attacked. No children are being separated. But this is where we live now in the United States of disinformation. Now, she's not faking it, Ms. Gomez. She's genuinely upset. Although they took that post down, they probably are manager quickly. But I don't believe that she's a phony or a bad. bad person or anything like that. She believes, because it's what she's hearing, that the Trump
Starting point is 00:08:54 administration is attacking immigrant children. This is bad. Okay. Summing up, propaganda is overwhelming any kind of rational thought in this country at this point. It's my job to stop that as best I can, and I will continue to do it. All right, Catholic Charities is another propaganda story. So there are 168 Catholic charity affiliates in America. 168. Some of them are activists. Some of them are. No doubt about it. But some of them are just charity concerns. I give money to Catholic charity. But I don't give money to the far left loons. I give money to the charities that I know are helping people. Okay. Now, Catholic charities in 2020, last data available, got 1.5 million in federal grants. Why do they get that money? Because
Starting point is 00:09:51 there are migrants who are ill. Are you ready to dairy free your mind? This summer, melt away your dairy-free expectations with so delicious dairy-free frozen desserts. Starting point is 00:10:24 You set the table, put on a playlist, even made the lasagna from scratch, and now you're wearing it. OxyClean MaxForce spray tackles tough, set in stains the first time. Adulting is hard, fighting stains shouldn't be. OxyClean Maxforce. It's not clean unless it's OxyClean. All right, or who have lost track of family members
Starting point is 00:10:43 or who need food and shelter. They're there, and Catholic Charities helps them. Is there anybody that thinks that's a bad thing? I don't know any sane person who would think that's a bad thing. So the government, and $1.5 million is nothing, particularly when you break it down to 168 separate agencies. But there is an agency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
Starting point is 00:11:11 that is a left-wing agency and they issued a advice tape to migrants. Go. First, do not panic and do not run away. If you are frightened and feel like you need to leave, you can calmly walk toward the exit. If you are stopped, you may ask if you are free to leave. If the officer says no, do not try to exit the building. If you are questioned, you may tell them you want to remain silent.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Two, you have the right to remain silent. You do not need to speak to the immigration authorities or answer any questions. If you are asked where you were born or how you enter the United States, you may simply refuse to answer or remain silent. Now, that's not what Catholic Charities should be doing. It isn't. That's getting into politics. And that woman should be fired immediately. And we'll watch it.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Her name is Barbara Graham. Out of here. Because you're not doing your job. Your job is to help people, not give them advice on how to circumvent the law. But anyway, the right, the far right, is demonizing Catholic charities because you go on the Internet. And this is not,
Starting point is 00:12:37 their main goal. This is the extreme element of it. Now, yes, should the bishops tell them to shut up? Absolutely. The bishops are never going to do that. Never. That's what we have. We Catholics. All right. Now, here was the other big thing about the press conference today with Caroline Levitt. So the Trump administration has announced going to freeze some money that has been given out in grants and loans. It has to. The Biden administration is the biggest spending administration in history by far, by far. And you've got to stop it, and you've got to look and see if the money is being used responsibly. That's what the Trump administration is doing.
Starting point is 00:13:28 Well, the press hates this and barrage Caroline Levitt with questions about it. Here's what she said. Again, people who are receiving individual assistance assistance, you will continue to receive that. And President Trump is looking out for you by issuing this pause because he is being good steward of your taxpayer dollars. Okay. So again, the left wants no inhibitions on spending, generally speaking. And the Trump administration is going to clamp down on it. And that's, I think it has to happen.
Starting point is 00:14:04 You can't have a $37 trillion debt and think that your country is going to remain strong. All right, joining us now is the best guess we could find on any of this. His name is Gordon Sondland. You may remember he was the ambassador to the European Union for two years, the first Trump administration. joins us now from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Let's start with the deportations first. This is obviously shaking up the Western Hemisphere. You've got a very liberal government in Brazil.
Starting point is 00:14:37 They're rattling cages. I think the capitulation in Colombia sends a big message to everybody. How do you see it? Well, let me pivot to more of a macro issue, which is, I think President Trump has changed the transition playbook forever, for every president, regardless of party. And you know, there was a lot of consternation as to why he wasn't signing. on to the normal transition process. And now we can see why. Because there was a lot of work going into all of these various initiatives, 30 or 40 of them all launched at the same time,
Starting point is 00:15:13 that were not shared with the current administration, which they would have been had he signed onto the normal process, which meant people would have been able to undermine him before he got out of the gate. So you kept thinking. So you believe that the Trump administration didn't share any of this with the Biden administration because the Biden administration would have leaked it to the press and created hysteria. Is that what you're saying? Among other things, I think also what we all refer to as the deep state would have already started to put things into motion to put sand into the gears. And that's why they kept things at Mar-a-Lago. They kept things quiet. They had their landing teams ready. And that's why you saw
Starting point is 00:15:53 not only shock and awe in terms of the launch of all of these initiatives, but shock and awe in terms of HR moves in getting rid of people who would have had their hands on the levers of power. And that's why now when the president needs to threaten, unfortunately, a foreign leader to do the right thing, which is take your own citizens back, there isn't a lot of bureaucracy pushing back on that. He sends a tweet, scares the ever-loving daylights out of the guy within two hours, as you pointed out, things go backwards. And this is how. how you have to conduct foreign policy when things have gotten so bad in the last four years. Sure, it's an emergency. There's no doubt about it. And I don't, as I said, I don't think most
Starting point is 00:16:41 Americans understand how bad the Biden administration was, how derelict in their duty they were, by not upholding the federal law in place on immigration. But you also have the perception around the world that Donald Trump's a dictator and he's going to come into our country and he's going to cause trouble for us. And that's something that he has to mitigate, correct? Well, he has to mitigate it, but when you peel back the layer of the onion bill, we didn't go into Colombia and start a fight. We simply said these people, your citizens, snuck into our country, we just want to send them back. And it's the president of Columbia that started the fight. Now, just imagine for a moment that we sneak into Colombia. You're going to wind up in
Starting point is 00:17:24 a Colombian jail. You're not going home on a presidential aircraft. And I mean, as I pointed out, the phony excuse that they're in handcuffs and that's, you know, some kind of human rights violation. And these are the worst, the worst. You're going to let them run around a plane unattended? I mean, it's ridiculous. I get a kick out of the fact that every time I go to Mexico on vacation or as a tourist, I'm going to a very, you know, usually very high-end resort in one of Mexico's nicer places. I'm planning to spend a ton of money and the Mexican customs authority give me the third degree like no one else. And I'm there to help their economy. And yet, on the other hand, people want us to be tolerant of someone simply sneaking across the border. So hypocrisy
Starting point is 00:18:14 has its finest hour. With all due respect, Mr. Ambassador, you shouldn't go to Mexico. I'm never going here again because they're an enemy to America. They hurt us and they kill people here. And they won't do anything about it. So no Mexico for me. And the Caribbean's got a lot of lovely resorts and a lot of good countries down there. Let's shift off. Food for thought. Yeah. Let's shift over to your expertise here. So I think the situation in Ukraine is worsening for Keith. And that's an advantage to Putin, unfortunately. Because Putin doesn't care how many Russians are dead. He does care about the ruble collapsing in his economy and jambles. He cares about that. But he didn't care about the dead. So Trump has now got to,
Starting point is 00:18:53 a more difficult problem with Putin than he would if the battle was a stalemate, which it isn't. And Trump knows that. He actually said that to me. He said, you know, Russia's when I said, I know they're winning, but you have to make it painful for them to win. But now, the specter of more economic sanctions against Russia, that's what Trump came out last week and said. How do you see this going down? I actually think Putin is going to regret doing what he did for the simple reason that if he winds up at Donald Trump's pleasure by retaining any amount of Ukraine that he was able to take since the invasion, and I don't know if that's
Starting point is 00:19:38 going to be the case or not, but let's assume that it is. The payment he's going to have to make for that is a structure that guarantees Ukraine ironclad security. If that's short of joining NATO, It'll be some kind of a NATO compact umbrella, but the deal will be very simply, okay, you get X, Y, and Z. You never get another inch. And if you take one more inch in the future, all bets are off and we go toe to toe immediately with the United States and NATO all in with Ukraine. So you're locked. It's all over. When is that deal?
Starting point is 00:20:16 Are they going to go to Iceland and me? Do you have any scenario that might happen in the next month or so? I think it's going to happen very quickly because I think President Trump believes it's his personal duty to stop the bloodshed. He sort of promised it. Absolutely. That's one of his big signature items to try to get something there. And then he might get the Nobel Peace Prize if he does, at least nominated. All right. So that's all conjecture.
Starting point is 00:20:42 We can just guess at that. Greenland. So this is another thing. I wrote a message of the day on Bill O'Reilly. where I was making fun of the Gulf of Mexico being the Gulf of America now. And Greenland, again, I changed the name to Mara Koldo because it's, you know, but there is the lithium, and that's what this is all about, because China has the lithium market worldwide to make the machines and the United States want the world dependent on China.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And so we need the lithium there. But instead of negotiating a deal, which you could do, I think you could probably do in a week with the Danes, you know, he goes, ah, we might take it over. Is that the right way to do it? Well, look, if you speak fluent Trump speak, what you realize is he's taking what is a very complicated deal and putting it in words that everyone can understand. He doesn't mean it literally when he says, we're going to buy Greenland. It doesn't mean he's going to write a check and they're going to have. hand us a deed to Greenland. What it really means is we're going to get in bed with Greenland more than we've ever been in terms of military. I know that and you know that, but the folks in Europe
Starting point is 00:21:59 don't know. Yeah, they don't know. And the Danes are running around. I mean, it's certainly, that's the first thing that's an awaken them since November. So cold over there. But I think it also shows me that Meta Fredrickson does not know how to manage Trump the way Georgia, Maloney of Italy knows how to manage him. Whatever it may be. Americans don't care. We just don't want conflict. I think that'll work it out. I think they'll work out something economically, right? They're already talking. Absolutely. That's what I think. Panama is the same thing. That guy down there is going to give Trump what he wants, but Trump goes in and says, hey, we're going to take it. So I don't know. I actually had a conversation with the president long about this.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I say, you don't have to humiliate, the guy's going to do what you want. But it seems like Donald Trump wants to create that chaos. He feels it's easier to get a deal out of that once he creates this hysteria. Am I wrong? Well, there's something else going on here as well. He's showing our adversaries, our true adversaries, and none of these people are our adversaries. They're actually our friends. He's showing, you know, Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, particular, that he is not effing
Starting point is 00:23:15 around. When he says something, he means it. And he plans to take immediate action. He is a check your watch, not your calendar kind of president. And that's what we've needed for the last four years. Okay. I understand the messaging. But final thing. You were based in Brussels as the EU ambassador, correct? Yes. The Belgians have been one of the worst offenders and not paying for it. NATO defense, right? The Belgians are very careful people, let's put it that way. What is their justification for not paying the 2%? You must have spoken to them about it.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Because they can get away with it. We haven't pressed them. So it's the big middle finger from Brussels to Washington, D.C., that's what it is? I don't even think it's the middle finger. The country is broke. That country is really broke. Why is Belgium broke? It's a little Benelux country. What are they got? Four million people there? Why is it broke?
Starting point is 00:24:19 Because they have a huge social safety net and very little income because everyone's fleeing their tax policy. That's why they're broke. All right. So they're all bailing out of there because you can't make any money. And so they don't have any money and they won't put the collective defense. But Trump's not going to get the 5% commitment from NATO. I don't think he's going to get that to you.

Starting point is 00:25:47 If hypothetically, we said, look, we've been with you guys in Europe for the last 80 years. We've helped you. We've paid. We've had our blood treasure people. You're kind of on your own now. We'll take on the big stuff in China. You're going to have to defend yourselves. We're going to pull everything out, including our money and so on and so forth.
Starting point is 00:26:08 All of these countries that we admire where you're walking down the the street and watching people sit in the brosseries, you know, in the middle of the day, writing in their journals instead of working, these countries would have to spend 10%, 11%, 12% of their GDP on defense in order to make up for us. So what Trump is basically saying, Bill, is we have been subsidizing a very enviable lifestyle. And he said, we're not asking to pull a rug out, but they need to put up their share. That's the bottom line. Well, I think you'll get it in the end.
Starting point is 00:26:40 I mean, this is really a departure from the American government, as you said, of the last 80 years. I hope you'll come back, Mr. Ambassador. It was a very good conversation. We appreciate it very much. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for having me. Our guest, who I know very well because he's my congressman here on Long Island, Tom Swazi, Democrat, just reelected. He took a four-year hiatus.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I think it was four years you're out there to run for governor against Hokel. A Hockel beat you. It seemed like four years. It was only a year and a half. It seemed like a year and a half. It seemed like it won't because you missed me. And I wish you had beaten Hockel because it's a state of New York's a disaster. As you know, you took over for Santos, who I think is in Devil's Island someplace.
Starting point is 00:27:26 But anyway, I got some questions for you. Number one, your party was hijacked by far left people under Biden. There's no doubt about that. That's why Trump won. How did that happen? You're not a far-left guy. How did your party get hijacked by the far left? I think that both parties are prone to being hijacked by their extreme bases, both parties.
Starting point is 00:27:56 In the case of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden is not the greatest messenger in the world. I think he did a lot of good stuff, but he's not the greatest messenger in the world. And too many people are intimidated to speak. up against their extreme base. And as a result, I think the Republicans effectively weaponized the extreme elements of our party to say, like, you're all for defund police, you're all for open borders, you're all for all this extremist stuff, and it worked. There are plenty of extremists in the Republican Party, you know, Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Burburt and Matt Gates, but we did not effectively weaponize that. And the bigger spokesman was Donald Trump,
Starting point is 00:28:34 So you couldn't paint them with that brush. It was just the message he was selling as opposed to. But I still don't understand. If you're a president of the United States and you go into office and open the border and 14 million foreign nationals come in unattended, that's a far left play. Do you have any idea why that man Biden did that? Any idea at all? My belief, I genuinely believe his bill.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Joe Biden is a creature of the Senate. And he thinks that, you know, to make long-lasting change, you've got to negotiate a deal in the Senate, and to come up with a compromise. And he worked on trying to do a compromise for years. Ultimately, they came up with this compromise in February 2024. It was too late. And he did an executive order in June of 2024. I sent him a letter along with a Republican, Brian Fitzpatrick, asking him to seal off asylum applications in between the ports of entry. And he did it.
Starting point is 00:29:31 and the numbers are down from what they were when it was really bad back in the end of 2023 but it just waited too long and as a result but he too long it's three years
Starting point is 00:29:43 of damage the first year the first year was not that bad because we were still having the COVID hangover and there were not that many people
Starting point is 00:29:52 come on you know how bad it was you said it in your campaign that it was wrong no question my campaign you said it so why did he do it? Why did he do it for three years? I think he was focused on other stuff and he did
Starting point is 00:30:07 other stuff. Look, he was a major issue. The he rams, he rams through. I don't give me, Bill, Bill, COVID was a major issue when he first came into office. The economy. So what does COVID have to do with an open border? Nothing. And then he rams through regulation after, wait, Listen to me. He rams through regulation after regulation on the energy industry, rocketing inflation so everybody suffers. And then two years in, he takes that off. It takes them two years to figure out you can't strangle the fossil fuel industry and not have inflation. And he takes it out and he drills like crazy. This is Biden. So he is, well, he's the second worst president ever, in my opinion. And I know what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Let's advance it. You're the co-chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus, right, in the House, correct? Yeah, 25 Democrats, 25 Republicans. Okay. He regularly try to find common ground. But here's the problem with that. The most powerful guy in the House is Hakeem Jeffries. He's a far left guy.
Starting point is 00:31:24 He's not far left. So how are you going to get anything done? He's not far left. But I'm working for the people I represent. And I'm going to work to try and find common ground on the border. I'm going to work to try and find common ground on inflation and high costs. I'm going to work to find common ground on public safety. I'm going to work to find common ground on something the president talked about in his speech about chronic disease and protecting children.
Starting point is 00:31:52 And there's a lot of things that the president has done and said already that I don't like. but I'm not going to focus on the things I don't like. I'm going to focus on where can we find common ground to actually solve the problems we've been facing for the past 30 years. All right. Now, you wrote an article in the New York Times. Good article. I actually texted you that it was a good article.
Starting point is 00:32:13 And about Trump. And you just said on this broadcast, there are a lot of things I don't like that he's done in a week. Give me one. The pardons. You know, I'll just talk about one pardon from the 1600 from January 6th. This guy, Daniel Rodriguez, was there when they were beating up a police officer,
Starting point is 00:32:37 capital police officers on the ground. Some guys are saying, kill him, kill him. And Daniel Rodriguez takes a taser and sticks it in the police officer's neck, tasers him. The police officer has a heart attack and has traumatic brain injury as a result. This guy, Daniel Rodriguez, texted his friends and said, you wouldn't believe the stuff I just did, and I got away, and I tased the, you know what, out of the blue. He pled guilty. He got 12-year sentence, and he was included in the blanket pardons. And there's a lot of examples of that from some...
Starting point is 00:33:08 All right. That's legitimate. That's legitimate. I don't think any fair-minded American would disagree with you. Give me a policy thing, though. So we've had a lot of policy in eight days. Give me one policy thing that you object to. The one thing that I disagree with is the complete effort to eradicate a lot of the climate change stuff. You know, I have a difference with the president on that stuff. I take climate change much more seriously than he does. He doesn't look at it the same way. And I'm all for, you know, all the above and utilizing the natural gas reserves we have in our country.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Why do you think, and that breach will never be, you'll never be. you'll never reach Daytona on it. Now, why do you think most Americans have now turned against the climate change zealots? I think it's been very effectively weaponized. You know, I think that the Republicans and President Trump specifically have done a much better job of navigating the fractured media landscape. You know, it's not the traditional media that you and I grew up with, with, you know, your local paper and your local news stations and cable news.
Starting point is 00:34:22 It's now podcasts like yours. It's like social media. It's a so much more fractured environment. And he and his team have done a very effective job of taking anything that they disagree with and blowing it up into a painting of the whole party being a wreck. So, you know, we've got to figure out how to combat that and how to make our Well, I will give you an open invitation come here and also your peer, Laura Gillen, who's a Democrat, who's the South Shore of Long Island. I was telling you, I ran into Congresswoman
Starting point is 00:34:59 Gillen at the Islander game on Friday. And you're both moderate people. I mean, I've known you guys for a while. You're not loons. But I'll tell you what, Congressman, the power in the Democratic party still lies in the left-wing zealots. And if you don't break that, down. J.D. Vance will be the next president. I don't believe, I don't believe in defund the police. No, I know that. But the powerful people, and to say Hakeem Jeffries isn't a far left guy. All you have to do is look at his record and look at his public statements. Look at the, look at how he categorize. Wait, just do this because this will, you're a guy. You went to the same high school I went to. We have a lot of coming. When those rioters and
Starting point is 00:35:47 York, that out of control. You look at what Hakeem Jeffries said. That's all you need to see. Anyway, you are welcome anytime. I want the common sense stuff. I want both sides of the story. You see us do anything you don't like. You come right back on. And we're going to book Ms. Gillen as well. Is that fair enough? All right. Thank you, buddy. Thanks so much. Nice to see you. All right. Media Madness. This is a minor story. Those of us who live in New York know New York magazine. Most people who read it are ardent liberals. Nothing wrong with that. And the magazine lists the entertainment options in the big city and all that. But it did something now that you should know about. The best coast just got better. Introducing Quantum of the Seas sailing from
Starting point is 00:36:33 L.A. this fall. Conquer next level thrills on the boldest ship in the west, like flow rider surf sessions, bumper cars, and soaring 300 feet above sea level on the North Star. Plus more than 15 dining options on board, all between discoveries in Ensenada and even overnights in Cabo. You've never done Mexico like this. Book your Boulder-Baha adventure from Los Angeles today. Come seek the Royal Caribbean. Itineraries vary by sale date. Ships Registry Bahamas. The Red Hot clearance event is on right now at Burlington, and I'm excited for the markdowns. It's all about savings on top of savings throughout the store. This is when I stock up on styles from my closet, home decor, and much more because there's up to 70% off other
Starting point is 00:37:13 retailers' prices on clearance. I mean, I'm going every day because these prices too hot to miss. Burlington deals, brands, wow. Styles and selections may vary by location. So they wrote an article, The Cruel Kids outlaid with a young right as they contemplate cultural domination. Then they put a picture on the cover of the magazine. Okay, throw that picture up. And the thesis of the article is there are no black people in the cruel kids and all the people who support Trump or white people. But the picture they took was part of the Power 30 Awards presentation that was run by a black man. And here was the original picture that New York Magazine cropped out of its publication. So you can see it as black people, and they took the mouth of the picture that New York Magazine used on its cover.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Now, in the Internet, they had both pictures or whatever. So the guy who ran this is a black man, C.J. Pearson, this is what he said. Quote, this is insane. I hosted this event, and New York Magazine intentionally left me out of the story because it would have undermined a narrative that mag is some racist cult. They also didn't include the fact that Waka Flocka and Girvanta were also there. You don't hate the liberal media enough. That's C.J. Pearson. Now, this is reminiscent.
Starting point is 00:38:47 The reason I'm telling you to this is my first show in the aforementioned Trump-O'Reilly history tour was in Fort Lauderdale where Donald Trump said he took the vaccine in Gabood. Remember, I told your story at the top. Okay. The Sun Sentinel newspaper snuck a photographer. into the arena before anybody was admitted by the Secret Service. The photographer took pictures of empty seats, and they put it on the front page.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Nobody's going to the drum show. Now, when that did that, I called the public, guys, and it's out of business, that whole paper is destroyed now. But when I saw this, these people never going to learn their lesson. Okay, smart life. Now, we have a concierge service you know about, Bill O'Reilly.com. You join up, you get an email directly to me,
Starting point is 00:39:44 a special email. I get a lot of letters from people who don't have any money. And if you don't have any money in America, you're host. You have no power, anything bad happens to you, it becomes a tragedy and a catastrophe. I try to help these people. Now I'm going to give you a smart life tip. if you don't have much money you know who you are you know that there are things you can do
Starting point is 00:40:11 ahead of time to protect yourself okay number one find out where your local legal aid office is that is the most important thing you can do to protect yourself legal aid is a free service most of the time. You go in, you get advice. You don't pay a fee. These good, kindly attorneys are doing it to help the poor. You get into a problem, you need legal representation, you don't have any money, you can't hire a lawyer. But legal aid will tell you what your options are. That's number one. Number two, state disability office. There are 50 of them. As you get older, going to become ill. You don't have any money. You are not going to be able to protect yourself medically. Yes, you can get Medicare. Yes, you can get Medicaid, and you should lock in on both
Starting point is 00:41:12 of those subsidies. Know your rights. But the State Disability Office is there to help you should anything extraordinary happen. Know how to get to them. Third, food bank. In almost every county in this country, there are food banks that give low-cost food, sometimes free food, people don't have any money. If you don't have any money, there's no shame in taking what you can get. That's why they're there. And fourth and final, it's know your rights as a consumer. That comes under Consumer Affairs Department.
Starting point is 00:41:58 department. There are 50 of them. Every state has them. So if somebody's pounding your door down to pay a bill and you don't have the money to pay it, you have rights. So it almost breaks my heart to read some of these letters that I get in a concierge service because if you don't have any money, you're screwed. That's it. And you'd be hosed in any country. The communist, you know, when I was in Cuba, everybody didn't have anything. They weren't. If you're poor in America, you're a lot better off than if you're middle class in Cuba. But you've got to protect yourself if you don't have any money. Smart life. Okay, final thought of the day, as I said and reported and it's accurate, the first 10 days of the Trump administration has been 100% trying to knock out the damage that the Biden administration did.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Now, the left will make an argument. That's what Biden did the first time, the day he was in the first 10 days, he knocked out all what Trump did. All right, fine. But the majority of Americans disapprove of Joe Biden's tenure. That's in stone. So Biden doesn't know it, but he doesn't know anything. Trump knows it. And Trump goes in and says, look, first thing we're going to do is try to reverse as much of this stuff as we can. We know we're going to get sued. But that's okay. We're going to make the effort. This is revenge to some extent. Some might say it's retribution. Retribution is just. writing of wrongs. Revenge is a little petty. But it's natural. It's the incline. You can see it, all right, in what people are watching, the news they are consuming. So most people now, in the news, television news world, want to see Joe Biden punished. That's why to tune it in. Punish him. He heard us. And Trump's doing that. In smart politics, I think there might be a little
Starting point is 00:43:57 back in a way and let's take a look at Ukraine, let's take a look at some of the problems we've got us off here. I hope that happens. But it's good politics. Trump, he knows. He can feel it. And Americans are angry, angry. Not the media. The media loved Biden. Loved everything he did. But that's what they destroyed themselves, as they said on Hannity. And by the way, if you want to listen to that hour, it's on bill o'Reilly.com. and O'Reilly today. You usually don't go that long, but there's a lot of stuff to talk about today. It's pretty interesting, I think.
Starting point is 00:44:34 It wasn't boring to me anyway. We appreciate you watching and listening to the No Spin News tonight. We'll see you again on Monday.
