Starting point is 00:00:00 The Talky Boys memo is about this cutting $9 billion more out of the federal budget. So as you know, Democratic parties don't want to cut anything. They're fine with a $36 trillion debt. They want to raise the debt. And the Republicans have gone along passing a law that raises the debt by $2 trillion. That was what the real conservative, far-right Republicans objected to. But $2 trillion is a lot better than $8 trillion, okay, what the Democrats would do. And Trump's saying that, look, all this tariff money coming in is going to bring the debt
Starting point is 00:00:48 down. I'm not sure about that. OK, but there's a lot of tariff money coming in. There's no doubt about that. So now this week, the fight is over taking money away from NPR and PBS. In the four years that Biden held office, they got more than $200 million. It's a total waste of money. Let them compete on their own. in the four years that Biden held office, they got more than $200 million, is a total waste of money.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Let them compete on their own. Compete against me, I'm ready, I'll take you on. I don't wanna get, you don't deserve my tax money because you're not fair and you're not providing any service other than to promote the Democratic Party and liberal causes, okay? There's no doubt about that. So to advance the bill, it looks like it's gonna be 51-50.
Starting point is 00:01:28 It'll pass in the Senate with Vice President Vance, the tiebreaker. We know that Susan Collins of Maine, Murkowski of Alaska and McConnell of Kentucky will vote against defunding NPR and PBS. These people don't want Trump. That's an anti-Trump vote. I mean, tell me, the turtle, Mitch McConnell, wants this, NPR and PBS, to be funded by his
Starting point is 00:01:59 tax dollars? No. So you go, I hate you, and I'm going to vote against everything you've got. In the House, it'll probably pass too. So bye and good, good riddance, all right, to that public money going to those agencies. Now, let me just prove it to you. Can I prove it to you? So last night, you know, the All-Star Game was on, I was in and out, but there was a
Starting point is 00:02:20 documentary on PBS. It's called Trump's power and the rule of law It was frontline. You know frontline used to be good and now it's a left-wing Thing. All right It's like 60 minutes 60 minutes used to be good. Now, it's a left-wing thing that happens so frontline as an one hour and 22 minute documentary I watched about 20 minutes, it, it was boring. And I knew where they were going, that Trump's a fascist.
Starting point is 00:02:50 He's using his position as president to violate, break laws, whatever it may be. So I asked my crew, they did a really good job, my producer and research crew, break this documentary down, here it is. An hour and 22 minutes on PBS last night, 10 Eastern Time. They had 19 anti-Trump guests, 19 for pro-Trumps. Okay. They spent two minutes and 18 seconds promoting Trump's point of view.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Out of one hour and 22 minutes, 82 minutes, two minutes, 18 seconds, the rest was anti-Trump. Here's a taste of it. Go. Trump would send a message to the lawyers, attacking powerful law firms that had crossed him in the past. We're going to sign some executive orders. What they've done is just terrible, and it should never be allowed to happen again.
Starting point is 00:03:56 He ordered the firm's security clearances revoked, that they be denied entrance to all federal buildings, their government contracts canceled. This is just gangster stuff. I mean, it really is. This is mob-style intimidation, because what it is saying, nakedly, is that I can essentially destroy the law firm.
Starting point is 00:04:26 All right, so that guy's Eugene Robinson, hates Trump, far left columnist for the Washington Post, MSNBC commentator. Now it would be okay to use him if you had somebody going, Eugene is full of hooey like me coming up behind Eugene. That'd be okay, but they just stack it, all right? So why should I pay for that?
Starting point is 00:04:49 Why should you pay for that? Let Eugene pay for it. I'm not paying for it. So this is a very good thing that's happening this week. I mean, enough's enough with this, all right? PBS, let me say it very clearly, PBS and NPR are a disgrace. Yeah, they have the four tops on sometimes, and I like that, but the management who runs
Starting point is 00:05:13 PBS and NPR, disgraceful. Dishonest, intellectually dishonest, ideologically. All right, and there is craziness on the right, too. All right, and there is craziness on the right too. When I say that, some people go, oh, you can't say, of course I can say that. So I wrote a message today on BillOReilly.com. It's free. You should go there every morning and get it. And I said, who has more loons, the far left or the far right? Now I got a lot of the idea, what's the far right?
Starting point is 00:05:47 Well that would be the Klan, the Proud Boys, you know, those people. So who is more? More people associated with the far left or the far right? I say the far left because of the urban situation, the cities, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, New York, Baltimore, DC, on and on and on. They're run by leftists who are elected. So I think there are more far left loons in this country than far right loons. One of the far right poster gals for extremism is Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Now she tried to derail President Trump selling weapons to NATO, who would then give those weapons to Ukraine to defend itself against the heinous Putin. Marjorie didn't want that to happen, even though the USA is making money from it, okay, and is giving the Ukrainian people hope that they'll survive. No, Green doesn't want it, because Green doesn't want any money from the United States going to anything,
Starting point is 00:07:03 any conflict overseas. So I'm saying to myself, this is not a majority position in the Republican Party. There is an isolationist crew, but not, it's not large. Okay, well, polls say that. But on a historical basis, what is green things going to happen when Putin starts to invade other countries? It's not going to stop in Ukraine. If we surrender, like Biden did in Afghanistan, Chinese are going to Taiwan. Green doesn't care. It doesn't care.
Starting point is 00:07:38 That's just stupid. Okay, I'm sorry. There's no other word. We live in a global economy. You can't have communist nations or dictators like Putin running wild, slaughtering children and women. You can't have it. No Frills delivers.

Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business,
Starting point is 00:08:24 pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Ice. So attacks on ice of 700 percent according to the Department of Homeland Security in the first six months of this year as compared to the first six months of last year. Raw numbers 79 assaults on ICE agents as opposed to 10. The reason is that far-left politicians
Starting point is 00:09:04 are inciting this violence. Here's an example. Go. This is Gestapo-like behavior, where plainclothes officers wearing masks are terrorizing immigrants who are doing the right thing by going to court, following up on their immigration proceedings, and trying to come into this country lawfully, which is through asylum. Now, that is Congressman Dan Goldman, who doesn't understand what the Gestapo was. If he were sitting here in a debate, I would say,
Starting point is 00:09:45 well, what was the Gestapo in the Third Reich? What did they do? You don't know. But the inflammatory rhetoric, unstable people, lights the fuse of violence. There you go. All right,186. And that number is up to July 5th.
Starting point is 00:10:13 And immigrants being held in ICE custody, 57,186. And that number is up to July 5th. And immigrants being held in ICE custody, 57,186. Now will all of them be deported? I don't know. And we'll get to that in a moment. Disturbing story out of New England. Okay, here's what happened. A guy named Chris Landry, 46 years old, legal US
Starting point is 00:10:48 resident, five children. He works in manufacturing. He lives in Peterborough, New Hampshire. He goes to Canada on vacation. He drives up there. He comes back through the port of entry of Holton, Maine, which I've been to. It's the furthest point north in Maine. He presents his credentials to the Border Patrol in Holton, Maine. They say, you're not allowed back. Traveling with three of his children, they let the kids in and they're older, so they go back to New Hampshire, but Mr. Landry is still in Canada. He is being denied entry back here. Why? Because he in 2007 had a pot beef, not a big one, but he had marijuana possession.
Starting point is 00:11:46 All right? And that was 18 years ago. Since that time Landry says he's been to Canada many times. No problem. But now there is a problem. Now I looked at this and I said, this is wrong. If you want to bring him before an immigration court, okay. Okay. If that's what ICE wants to do, I don't have object to it. I think it's a waste of money. But on a humane basis, man, it's five kids. And they're all US citizens. They all live in New Hampshire. And you can't get back? No. Sorry. No. That is cruel, and it doesn't protect me or my family or you or your family. Does it? Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Joining us now is probably the most astute immigration lawyer in the country. And I'll back it up. He represents Melania Trump and her family. He did represent John Lennon when the U.S. Department of State tried to deport him on pot charges or drug charges. Michael Wiles comes to us from New York City. He's also the mayor of Englewood, New Jersey, so he's a busy guy. All right. So I'm assuming Melania is not going to be deported, right?
Starting point is 00:13:09 She's okay, counselor? She's safe, Mr. Riley. And it was my late father, Leon Wilds, who passed away a year ago, who actually represented the famous Beatle against the Nixon administration at the time. Right. Quite a legacy. Crystal shepherding is practiced forward on Madison Avenue. Okay. So I'm this guy in Chris Landry and I come to your office or I send a representative, I send my wife or whoever in and say,
Starting point is 00:13:41 look, you got to get me back into the USA. This is ridiculous. What do you do specifically to solve this problem? Thank you. Thank you again, Bill, for having me on. Listen, the Controlled Substance Act of 1971 schedules marijuana as a schedule one drug. As bad as it gets, such a conviction has catastrophic consequences even for green card holders. Departing after a conviction, even with a green card,
Starting point is 00:14:13 he was a green card holder, the gentleman, since he was three years old, subjects him to what's termed to be inadmissibility charges on his return. Now, that means that Mr. Landry can be returned to the United States. He has a green card, so he's entitled to a day in immigration court. I want you to know a few hours ago, I had a U.S. citizen who consulted with us because he was concerned about his being returned to the United States. He would be heard in a federal court.
Starting point is 00:14:45 But Mr. Landrieu would be eligible for a waiver. They don't have to mandatorily incarcerate him if they want to. The law allows them when it comes back because it's a controlled substance crime that he was convicted of. But what we would be doing would be a few things. First, we would look to see if we could
Starting point is 00:15:06 have the crime vitiated. We would look to see whether or not there was a constitutional problem. All right, all right, but don't get, just right now, he gotta get back to Peterborough, New Hampshire, okay? He's entitled to a day in court. All right, so what would you do,
Starting point is 00:15:22 and he should hire you, so you would do an emergency petition right away Try to get it in front of an immigration judge is how would you win? He would come to the United States. He would go off, but they won't let him in Counsel they they they will let him in somebody has to negotiate that they admit with all right when you say they You pick up the phone, who do you call to get this guy back? We call ICE and we ask for them to have him return to the United States.
Starting point is 00:15:55 He does not make a formal admission. And they issue what's called an NTA, a notice to appear in a remote facility. Okay, all right, so you call them up on a phone or is it an email or a registered letter? We would call up ICE because of the profile of this matter and ask... Would you get anybody on the phone though immediately? Are the people there to answer your call? You would.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Yes, we would go up the chain of command. The decision has to be made. So you're confident if this guy hired you, you could get him back within hours? Within a day. Within a day. All right, he's already been out two days. He's already been out in Canada two days. Which is unconscionable for a green card holder with five US citizens.
Starting point is 00:16:37 That's why I'm doing this story. That's why I'm doing it. You know me, for many years, I don't want chaos in our immigration thing. I think Joe Biden is the worst president on immigration in our history, by far. There's no even close second. And I've been saying this for decades, that you've got to regulate immigration into America. But this one comes under humane, right?
Starting point is 00:17:06 Of course. Now here's my next question. Family unification is a bedrock of our immigration policy. Okay. The left, the hate Trumpers, are now portraying Homeland Security eyes as having no interest in humanity, fairness, human right, or any of that. All I want to do is kick everybody out. Is that true?
Starting point is 00:17:34 It's not true. I'm a former federal prosecutor myself. I'm actually a proud Democrat and a mayor, a five-term mayor in New Jersey. I don't like some of the things that they're doing. We're representing a wine company in Edison, New Jersey, that was raided a few days ago. I don't like the people that they're picking up or how they're doing it.
Starting point is 00:17:54 But this president is returning on his promise to go after those hardened criminals. When they realize there aren't as many bad people in this country, they are expanding the net. I don't like how they knock on doors. Even in my city, they're knocking on doors and they're saying it's the police and they say, what do you want? Well, we have gifts for your kids. And then they go in and they arrest somebody. All right. But there's always abuses. I mean, that's not a policy not a soul, but I want to get the bigger picture here. So let me let's review Number one if if this guy
Starting point is 00:18:30 Hires you you think you can get it back in 24 hours He would go before that he'd have a hearing in an immigration court to review We would negotiate all right you negotiate his status And then and then he would end up having to be heard in an immigration court. And you're confident you would win the case? Oh yeah, I mean, Bill, this is a gentleman with five children, US citizens.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I got it. I'm just trying to get- There's so many remedies available to him to defend himself. Okay, so right now, he's not getting good advice from anybody because they could have already called you and there are a lot of other immigration attorneys skilled ones in New England who could have done the same thing. Of course, he could have done this years ago. He
Starting point is 00:19:15 should have done this without leaving each time he came back he faced this jeopardy. Right, he didn't protect himself as the way he should. All right. So now after this segment, which will go worldwide, I kind of think that what you just said will happen. I can't guarantee it, but we'll do a follow up tomorrow and we appreciate your time very much, Mr. Wiles. Thank you very much. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. Check us out on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you get your podcasts. Also on our YouTube channel, at Presidents Daily Brief. Also on our YouTube channel, at Presidents Daily Brief. My pleasure. Thank you, Bill. Okay. NBC News. So look, I know that I've been way too repetitive on the media, but it has declined in such
Starting point is 00:20:56 a dramatic way. So they do a report on illegal aliens, undocumented migrants, whatever you want to use, being held in detention centers around the country. The crux of the report is that they're being abused. The migrants are being abused by the Trump administration. Here is a full screen. This isn't a television product. This is on their website, NBC News website.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Quote, immigrants being held in immigration customs enforcement detention centers in at least seven states are complaining of hunger, food shortages, spoiled food, detainees and immigrants advocates say. They say some detainees have gotten sick. Others have lost weight. One facility, an incident involving detainees, reportedly broke out because of food." Okay. Now ICE immediately, same day, this came out July 14th, yesterday, issued this statement, quote, fake news. Any claim there is a lack of food or subprime conditions at
Starting point is 00:22:04 ICE detention centers are false. All detainees are provided proper meals, medical treatment, have opportunities to communicate with their family members and lawyers. Meals are certified by dieticians. Ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of individuals in our custody is a top priority at ICE. Okay, so we decided to find out who's telling the truth. NBC News or the Homeland Security Department. Here's what we found out. Number one, most of the sources NBC News used are anonymous, which means you can't back on it.
Starting point is 00:22:39 If they're afraid to put names on it, you can't believe it. They do have three prominent names in their report. First one is Alfredo Calderon. Okay. He has been detained for a year. He's a Salvadoran. So you got to figure Alfredo doesn't like being detained. Right?
Starting point is 00:22:59 Okay. Number two, Jennifer Norris. She's an attorney at the Immigrant Defenders Law Center. What's that? Far left group, open border group. Jennifer wants everybody in, nobody help. Third, Vanessa Torres, okay? She's a lawyer for the American Immigration Lawyers
Starting point is 00:23:19 Association, another far left group. So what NBC News did is it stacked anonymous sources, you don't know who they are, and far left people who want open borders and everybody in. That was the basis of their entire article. Is this unusual? No. The reporters went out, they wanted an article to say there's bad food and conditions at the ICE detention centers, and it's easy to get that. And that's what they did. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:53 An update. We don't have much on this guy. We reported on yesterday, Chris Landry, who lives in Peterborough, New Hampshire, was denied access back to the USA. He's got five children because of a pot beef. He's a legal US resident. Senator Maggie Hassan is now involved. We are following that story closely.
Starting point is 00:24:15 We do expect he will be back as we had an interview yesterday with an immigration attorney. But look, I am a big booster of Homeland Security and deportations, but mistakes are made sometimes. And when they're made, they have to be corrected. Right? Yes. So I debated Hanna about this today. Pretty interesting. And post it on BillOReilly.com. We get an update, we'll give it to you. All right, here's another update. So you remember the two New York City police
Starting point is 00:24:48 officers who were assaulted and was caught on videotape, so they did it. On November 13th, 2023, 18 months ago, there's the assault, okay? Two men were charged with a felony assault in the second degree. Today they were in court. Their case was adjourned for the 19th time. 19th time by D.A. Darcel Clark. Okay? That means they're out on the street till September 3rd. This is coming up on two years now.
Starting point is 00:25:20 They will not put these thugs in court. The Bronx. And I wonder why crime is out of control in that very poor part of New York City. 19 times, 19 times the case has been adjourned. This is not the justice system. This is a collapse. Here it might be worse. We called the cop unions and the people who are supposed to be defending the New York
Starting point is 00:25:57 City police 17 times. They refused to come on the program. We called the Police Benevolent Association, police conference of New York, the fraternal order of police, on and on and on and on. Now won't defend their own police because in New York City very few people know about this. Don't even know it. Joining us now is a retired New York City police detective,
Starting point is 00:26:26 Bo Deedle, you know him. He's a movie star now. He's in Godfather of Harlem. He play Genovese, is that who you're playing now? You some mob guy? Tommy Gambino. Gambino, Genovese, Gambino. No, no, no, Tommy Lucchese.
Starting point is 00:26:42 You got me wrong. I don't even know who I'm playing anymore. You don't even know, all right. So you're Lucchese, you got me wrong. I don't even know who I'm playing anymore. You don't even know, all right, so you're Lucchese. All right, but in your real life, you're Bo Deedle, who had a very distinguished career in the NYPD, as did my grandfather. I'm so outraged about this.
Starting point is 00:26:59 I tell you how I can't get any angrier. Can you explain this to me? It's just part of the patent bill that has happened. This is the George Floyd effect on and on with the demonstrations. Since 2020, when these pieces of garbage were able to demonstrate burn, assault, actual some murders involved, the prosecution.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Everyone turned against the police, defund the police, defund the police. Now you have in New York State, because we have to start with the state, you have an assembly and you have a Senate that will not pass any kind of bills in support of the police. They have a city council here that has taken away every aspect of what the police officers can do. Now they also have this diaphragm law. When you're fighting with someone, if you get them into a headlock, that's illegal. Immediately, when a cop gets someone in a headlock or gets on top of them, they file
Starting point is 00:27:59 a suit against them. The charges are dropped. They testify against the cop. Then you've got district attorneys, like you just pointed out with this case, these officers were beat pretty bad. There were stitches involved and everything. That's why it's a salt to a felony. And I'm outraged, Bill, listening to what you just said, that this is put off.
Starting point is 00:28:20 That's the DAs and the damn judges. When they put these liberal judges in there, I mean, a judge is supposed to make a judgment call. When you've got animals like this, if they're going to assault the police officer the way they did, imagine what they'll do to a regular person. You and me are children on the streets. Right. These people are career criminals anyway, and they know that, and they put them back
Starting point is 00:28:42 on the street. But in order to counter this Bo, you would have to have an organized police presence with demonstrations, with signs, with pressure, with the media, and you don't have anything. Not one word. They have turned us down on every request to come in and condemn this whole case, they will not do it. Do you know why? No, I don't know why, but I'm going to tell you something.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I was with Kaz Dautry, the Deputy Mayor of Public Safety last night. I had dinner up in Campionola's with him. We had dinner, and this is one of the issues that he told me he wanted me to get back on. And I promise you one thing, I told him I was gonna be on your show. And I said, I want answers, why? Now, when you go to the unions, you have a PBA, you have a DEA, I'm still a member of the DEA,
Starting point is 00:29:36 but I'm gonna reach out to the president of the PBA. And you are exactly right. There should be demonstrations going on in front of that DA's office in the Bronx. This is an outrage. And I'm really, really sorry with you on this one, Bill. That's where I came from. But now it's a moral outrage.
Starting point is 00:29:57 It's just wrong. It's indefensible. But there's more than that. It demoralizes every single police officer in the city, because they know they could be beaten, they could be next. And nothing is going to happen to them because of the Darcel Clarks of the world, but their own people aren't defending them. How can you ask people to put their lives on the line every day in a dangerous city like New York
Starting point is 00:30:29 when they know nobody's got their back? That's why, Bill, more police officers in New York City are retiring than ever before. They can't recruit people to come on to the New York City Police Department. And a lot of people don't know, if they're doing their jobs completely legally, they still could be sued civilly.
Starting point is 00:30:48 That's like the poor cop that has a little house out in Levittown paying his mortgage or her mortgage, and next thing is they get sued civilly and they take his house or her house away. And right now what's going on, they cannot bring people on the police department. And they're lowering their standards, Bill. This is a craziness. Then we got some fool running for mayor that wants to defund the police department. And he's getting more votes than anybody.
Starting point is 00:31:15 For our audience who doesn't live in New York City and doesn't really know how intense it is, how intense it is. Describe when you were on the job, okay? And then now, how big a difference? Well, we had tremendous support. We had tremendous support from our unions, even the higher echelon of the police department. I was very active. I made over 1,500 felonies.
Starting point is 00:31:44 I was a dec officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer,
Starting point is 00:31:53 I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer,
Starting point is 00:32:01 I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I was a police officer, I with the hand radio. I did whatever I had to do to get him or her, not too many hers, but definitely get him restrained. And you know what? I said what I did and why I did it and I was supported. I was the recipient of 40 civilian complaints. I'm very proud of every one of them. And you know what? I was never founded on one of them because all I did was my job.
Starting point is 00:32:25 And I told the truth and that's it. I'm out there and I'm with my partner. I'm fighting with a guy with a knife or a gun. I want to make sure my partner goes home safely and I go home safely. And I did what I had to do, reasonable force. Today, now you got video cameras. What they do is after the cop gets punched, they take the video of the second part of the cop arresting him.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Not the original incident that occurred. And with the advent of these cell phones, that's a destruction to the police department also. Could you do the job today? Because I know you love being a detective. I mean, you like the work and all of that. Could you do it today? No.
Starting point is 00:33:04 And I think I would actually maybe break my son's arm if he wanted to become a New York City cop. I would not let him. Nobody I love will I let come on the police department. It's a disgrace of what it's become, and I feel horrible. Now you have more than 55, 60% of the police department have under five years. That means you have inexperienced people out there
Starting point is 00:33:26 that don't really want to do any kind of reaction. We used to go out there and we used to find a crime before these guys committed the crime, find the bad guys. There's no proactivity with the police. Don't get involved, drive by. I've seen them drive by many a times where they're not getting involved. Oh, crime is down because no one is reporting
Starting point is 00:33:47 Well quality forget quality of life So if you're a drug addict and you're sitting in front of a school with a needle in your neck Cops aren't gonna do anything to you No, and no that's it. You can walk on these streets right now I'm on 5th Avenue 42nd Street right by Brian Park for people around the country, the heart of New York City. You can walk out there anytime and you have people there. You can't wear watches. You can't do this.
Starting point is 00:34:11 Everyone's scared stiff. Forget about getting on a train. You know, you go on a train, you take your life in hand. My son, who's 30 years old, my son, Bo, he goes, Bo, dad, you know what I do? I do no eye contact. He goes, if I do eye contact, I can get in a fight every two minutes with people. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it.
Starting point is 00:34:28 I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it.
Starting point is 00:34:44 I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. It's the laws that Andrew Cuomo signed, Hokel comes all the way down, okay? When you have a system that is collapsed, there is no protection for anybody. Wrong? The worst thing in the world is the district attorney is supposed to be protecting those cops when they're doing their jobs. And when your district attorney, the prosecutor,
Starting point is 00:35:06 don't support you, what the hell do police officers have? They have nothing. Then you've got these judges, these liberal judges that don't care about the cops or don't care about the public. All they care about is the criminal element. This is what's wrong, Bill. And I tell you what, you talk about no spin zone. This is a spin into the toilet bowl for America across this country. Yeah, it's happening. Not just in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Baltimore, on and on. All right, but you stay safe out there. And it's a good show Godfather Harlem. It's one of the few that I actually watch.
Starting point is 00:35:46 Right. Tommy Lucchese. Tommy Lucchese. You play the gangster when your whole life you're trying to put those guys away. No, no, no. Bill, I grew up with John Gotti. I went one way, they went another way. Yeah, but you didn't like John Gotti so I Didn't like them. All right, both needle everyone. There you go Smart life. This is another important story. Please pay attention As you know, we have a concierge service on billowreilly.com you pay about a hundred bucks a year that is about ten times less that you would pay a life coach or anything like that.

Mm-hmm So I get a letter from Florida. It says quote Looking for advice. I understand you recommend not to invest on the internet However, three years ago, I started a small account two thousand dollars and I made regular deposits in a stocking account
Starting point is 00:37:18 Coinbase it loves to tout how secure and protected they are but I had a great difficulty assessing I was just at out how secure and protected they are, but I had a great difficulty assessing my account. It was locked out on two occasions through no fault of my own. To get to the point of my request for assistance as a concierge, remember I have requested an accounting for all the missing funds. Now approximately $12,000 I get to run around. Now we're trying to help this guy, but here's how hard it is. We don't know where these people are, and the FBI doesn't know where they are either.
Starting point is 00:37:51 They could be in India. They could be in Taiwan. They could be anywhere on the planet. And the concierge, remember, doesn't know where they are. He just sent them money. Don't. Don't. Now, I don't know whether we're going to be able to find Coinbase. I don't know. Yip, yeah, I can't. It's not a bank where you can walk in. It's not Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, where you got a staff. It's not a local person with an office who can look out for your money.
Starting point is 00:38:35 It's some internet thing. $12,000? Now, there are two reasons why this happens. One that people are just gullible. But I have gone over this before. Do not do business on the internet at all. If you want to order from Amazon, yeah, that's fine. But do not invest.
Starting point is 00:39:03 I don't even do the crypto stuff. I'm telling you, I'm not doing it. All right, smart life. Here are the world's richest people. They don't do business on the internet. Elon Musk, 347 billion. Mark Zuckerberg, 258. Ellison Larry Ellison, Oracle, 251 billion.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Bezoszos 243 bomber founder of Microsoft 174 and then the last five you see Warren Buffett ceiling big name on it You know, look these guys made their money because it's a change now. It's like In confronting evil. I've got the robber barons. When the US economy started to revolutionize into the modern stuff, these guys made so much money. Same thing in the tech. They all made their money in tech, all right? And they got more money
Starting point is 00:39:56 and that's what Bernie Sanders doesn't like. So this weekend, I'm gonna try to get some lobster because it's one of my favorite foods. I don't know why. My mother loved it. And I've always loved lobster. You get a little butter sauce with lemon and you know, blah, blah, blah. You got to crack it. I mean, I don't want to be wrestling with these lobsters.
Starting point is 00:40:15 But the problem is that the restaurants and a lot of the fish stores, they jack the price up. So I call my people up in Massachusetts and Maine. I say, what's a lobster? No, we're getting plenty of lobsters. We got a big great season of lobsters. They're harvesting the lobsters all over the place. But the prices are going up because people don't know what the supply chain is.
Starting point is 00:40:43 And the restaurants go, OK, let me give you an example. Before the pandemic, in Montauk, New York, big fish port, a lobster roll, about $35 in a restaurant, where you sat down. Less if you wanted to take it out, about $35. Now it's double in many places, double. But the lobster prices have come down. But they're not going to tell you that. Okay? And if people like lobster, they want the lobster. Not me. I'll eat fluke, even though fluke's not cheap. But I'm not
Starting point is 00:41:18 paying, I'll pay $25 for a lobster roll, and I know the places to get them for 25 bucks, and you're good. Because they just put them in a little hot dog roll. It's not like they give me anything special. It's the lobster cut up. So anyway, I'm gonna hunt down a lobster. I'll pay about 18 bucks a pound, two pounders the best. I'm gonna have a nice little dinner.
Starting point is 00:41:41 And that's a key when you're under working hard and under stress, reward yourself, something like that. Hot fudge sundae, you know, reward yourself. Don't overdo it. But if you like a nice steak or something like that, but you can get it if you're smart. It's like detective work. Don't pay 60 bucks for a lobster roll. Thank you for watching this edition
Starting point is 00:42:06 of the No Spin News. I'm Bill O'Reilly. New Sunday column on addiction, gambling, and Internet. I'm going to write all about that, and then we'll see you again on Monday.
