Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Tuesday, June 11, 2014, stand up for your country. Well, Hunter Biden had to stand up in the courtroom and hear the verdict, guilty. Three federal felonies. His father of the president is, uh, visiting Rojobah, Delaware, where Hunter is tonight. And I don't begrudge Mr. Biden that. I would do the same thing, if it were my son.
Starting point is 00:00:42 There were some questionable things said by President Biden. I'll get into that. But all in all, you want to stand by your family members if you can't. So Hunter Biden will be sentenced September October. not going to prison. Get a slap on a risk, probably community service and probation, that kind of thing, exactly what Donald Trump will most likely receive as well. Now, this is not unexpected. I know people were speculating about Delaware juries and all that, but look, Hunter Biden's guilty. Everybody knew it. His own word said it. They couldn't let him off. His lawyers played
Starting point is 00:01:26 the substance abuse excuse, as I wrote in the message. of the day on Bill O'Reilly.com this morning, but it absolutely didn't work. Look, compassionate people do feel sorry for drug and alcoholics, drug addicts. But you cannot excuse them hurting other people because they're addicted to have a disease. You can't excuse it. That's ridiculous. That's anarchy. Hunter Biden actually got his girlfriend addicted to crack cocaine. He gave her the substance time at time, and she became an addict. Hunter Biden has a five-year-old daughter. Now, he's sober, okay, that he doesn't see, according to the daughter's mother, totally ignores the little girl.
Starting point is 00:02:13 In lieu of that, the Biden family go, oh, we're so proud of Hunter, the man he is today. Well, the man he is today, and there's been no pushback on this, totally ignores as a five-year-old daughter. That's worse than the gun felonies, in my opinion. The gun thing is just stupid. You know, he deserves to pay a price for it, to send a message. But a five-year-old girl, five-year-old daughter, you don't do anything for her? No. Now, I'm not proud of that.
Starting point is 00:02:43 I'd never be proud of that. And I wouldn't say anything. In fact, but the Biden family is a different entity. They go about life in a far different way than traditional Americans. do. So it's wrong to judge Joe and Hunter Biden as far as the long run is concerned. I don't know what's in their hearts. All I know is what I can see. And what I can see is not good. Maybe extenuating circumstances with the jury, as I said, said, no. He did it. He's going to pay a price. Now, President Biden, one more thing, says, well, we're going to appeal.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Peel what? Don't you understand, Mr. President, that this whole thing is embarrassing to your family? Your son should have pleaded this out and avoided that trial. You said, I did it. I'll take my punishment. What is this? What's the matter with you, people? I mean, just on an embarrassment.
Starting point is 00:03:47 You know, why go through the appeal? Appeal what? He did it. Does it matter? No. But you can't have drug addicts lying on applications for guns. You just can't. You're the big gun guy, aren't you, Mr. President? We don't want any guns.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Well, your son was a crack addict and he lied on a form. So you should say, okay, got what he deserved. Now, Hunter Biden, is the first presidential child ever to be convicted of a crime in this country while his father was in office or her father. I think Alice Roosevelt Teddy's daughter was close, but it was low-level stuff as you'll read in confronting the president's. Alice was lively. Let's just put it that way. All right. So that's the Hunter Biden, Joe Biden's story for today. We'll have a follow up tomorrow when I accumulate more information about it. The talking points,
Starting point is 00:04:52 memo is an important one tonight. Because it has to do with Donald Trump's main deficit, the main thing against him, that may prevent him from being president. Okay. It is the January 6th controversy. So as you know, the Democrats and some independents believe that Donald Trump incited January 6th. He wanted violence. He wanted a riot. He wanted all. that. The evidence shows that is false, and I'm going to produce the evidence tonight. However, it's going to be a campaign issue, no matter what. It's the big thing that they're going to hit Trump with right between the eyes. Okay, so let's walk through this. The week before January 6, 2021. Everybody knew that there was going to be a large pro-Trump demonstration. President knew,
Starting point is 00:05:59 Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi knew, mayor of D.C. knew. National Guard knew, cops knew. Everybody knew. Okay? So what should have happened is that everybody was on high alert. And the National Guard would call in ahead of time to protect not only the Capitol, but other key places in Washington. That's what should have happened. It did not. Remember, Donald Trump has not been charged with inciting insurrection
Starting point is 00:06:34 or doing anything like that. So if there was direct evidence against him, as the Democrats pro-Port allege, that certainly would have been under Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictment. But it isn't. That's a key piece. Okay, so the first line of defense in D.C. is Mayor Muriel Bowser.
Starting point is 00:06:57 All right, here's what she said before January 6, 2021. Quote, to be clear, the District of Columbia is not requesting other federal law enforcement personnel and discourages any additional deployment without immediate notification to in consultation with the Metro Police Department, if such plans are underway. And then Bowser is quite clear that she did not want the National Guard on the streets of Washington. That's the first line of defense. The second line of defense is the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who has direct supervision over the Capitol Police and the grounds of the Capitol. Donald Trump believes, and it said, that he asked the Speaker if she wanted National Guard troops.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Go. I go for 10,000 people to the mayor of Washington, D.C., Nancy Pelosi, both of them, Nancy Pelosi and to the mayor of Washington, Washington, and they turned it down flat. Okay, that's what Trump says. Now, up to this time, Pelosi. Pelosi hasn't said anything, but the new Speaker of the House, Hakeem Jeffrey, as a Democrat, has said, that's not true. What Trump just said, what you just heard, is not true. Go.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Well, the fact that Kevin McCarthy continues to blame Speaker Pelosi is just such a sick and cynical act of diversion and distraction. We know that the person primarily responsible for the insurrection that occurred on January 6th is the former twice-impeached president of the United States, Donald Trump, who incited that riot. It seems that the Speaker of the House, Mr. Jeffries, is lying, and let me prove it now. Stay with me here. Nancy Blossey has a daughter, Alexandra. She is a documentarian. She produced a, uh, film called The Insurrectionist Next Door. It was released October 15th, 2003, last October.
Starting point is 00:09:28 The Insurrectionist Next Door, Alexandra Pelosi. In that documentary was an inflammatory statement by her mother. It was edited out of the documentary. No one saw it. But through the Freedom of Information Act, Congress got the clip that was edited out. The House Oversight Committee got it. Here is the clip Nancy Pelosi on January 6, 2021, talking to her chief of staff, Terry McCullough. Go. We have responsibility, Terry. We did not have any accountability for what was going on there, and we should have. This is ridiculous. You're going to ask me in the middle of the thing, when they've already breached the inaugural stuff, should we call the Capitol Police? I mean, the National Guard? Why weren't the National Guard there to begin with? they thought that they had sufficient no there's not a question of how they had but they don't know
Starting point is 00:10:50 they clearly didn't know and i take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more smoking gun again her daughter Pelosi's daughter alexandra edited that out of the documentary So no one would see it or hear it. And it was only uncovered through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Starting point is 00:11:23 That should be a huge story. Trump campaign should be running with that all day long. You heard about it? I bet you hadn't. I bet you the first time you heard and saw it was tonight on the no-spin news. Okay. At the same time, Pelosi was in,
Starting point is 00:11:42 admitting that she made a huge mistake, the Democratic leader of the Senate, Chuck Schumer was saying this. Go. They have not denied it. I spoke to the Secretary of the Army. He stood in a full OK to give the National Guard and he said it was not denied. I'm going to call up the FECR secretary of DOD. All right. So Schumer didn't know what was going on. It wasn't like he was coordinating with Pelosi. And he's still to this day, Schumer, doesn't know what's going on. There's no clue because he doesn't want to know. All right. Now, we investigated this way back when, all right? And we ran a soundbite on January 4th, 2022 from a guy named Cash Patel.
Starting point is 00:12:35 All right? Cash Patel was the chief of staff in the Pentagon under President Trump. He was the liaison between the White House and the Pentagon. We interviewed Mr. Patel right here. Go. Donald Trump said, hey, on the 5th of January, I called the defense secretary and asked that he suggests that 10,000 guard troops be moved to Washington. And that's true. We confirm that. You know that's true, right? Yeah, I was in the Oval Office. when we had that conversation with the President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense, and not only was it 10,000, it was 10 to 20,000. Okay, and that is the reason that Jack Smith, the Democrat Special Counsel, did not charge
Starting point is 00:13:26 Donald Trump with insurrection or any of that. Okay, so now you know the truth, as Paul Harvey once said, the rest of the story. But this goes on, because in the next four months, you are going to hear charges from Democrats, probably from Biden himself, and it might happen at the debate that Trump was responsible and wanted the violence that happened at the Capitol on January 6th. You're going to hear it over and over and over and over. And every time you hear it in your mind should be three letters, L-I-E. There is no doubt now. There's no two sides to the story anymore. more. That is what happened. Now, to be fair, because that is my job. Donald Trump made a
Starting point is 00:14:24 major mistake in not acting quickly enough to condemn that riot. And still to this day, he goes out and says that the protesters who broke in weren't all that bad or whatever words he uses. That is a mistake. Number one, he should admit, yes, I didn't act quickly enough. I didn't. And I'm sorry, I should have acted quicker, but it was confusing. I was getting all kinds of different reports. So it took me more time than it should to make a decision. He should admit it. Because the American people would forgive that. Wouldn't you? I mean, with all the chaos that was going on, He did not act quickly enough. Just tell that to the American people.
Starting point is 00:15:18 But he wasn't behind it. He didn't want it. And now we have the proof thanks to Alexandra Pelosi. And I don't give her credit because she tried to hide the truth and protect her mother from the American people. And that is the memo. You want to comment, bill at bill o'Reilly. dot com, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name and town, if you wish to opine. By the way, one footnote to
Starting point is 00:15:50 this, because I'm a historian, the National Guard showed up at the Capitol at 5.40 p.m., four hours after the initial protesters broke in. Boy, let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, and even the president of the United States. These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. All right, President Biden, as he said, is in Delaware, consoling his son, discussing things with his son's lawyers. They issued a statement, same statement. They're proud of Hunter, as a man he is now, or some other stuff like that. Okay, last night a very busy. bizarre thing happened at the White House. I feel like I'm picking on Joe Biden, but I have to report the news. I have to report what happens.
Starting point is 00:18:19 So there's a concert, Juneteenth concert. Juneteenth is a celebration of African-American values, all right, and strengths. And so there was a concert at that concert, Gladys Knight, Patty LaBelle, Doug E. Frisch, and a man named Kurt Franklin, who you're going to hear in a second. And it was a show. So Mr. Franklin takes the mic. Roll the tape. So they're all roller tape again. They're all in the boogaloo, there's Kamala, or maybe that's a swim, I don't know, it's some dance. Everybody's moving, because it's a nice tune, not Joe.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Joe's just standing there, and he has this look on his face. I don't know if he can zero in on the look. It's like, where am I? Look at it. Look, everybody is there, and they're all like this, but not Joe. He's vacant, V-A-C-A-N-T. You're not swaying to the music, as Johnny Rivers once sang? No.
Starting point is 00:19:48 It really was bizarre. Did I watch that tape, you know, about a minute, 90 seconds of it? I went something wrong here. Nate Silver, you don't know him, but he used to head up a crew called 538. which is a political analysis firm. Disney bought it out. Nate Silver left that company, but is still a political pundit.
Starting point is 00:20:19 So he says that Biden is in serious trouble. Quote, Biden just hit a new all-time low in approval, 37.4% at 538 yesterday. Dropping out would be a big risk, but there's some threshold below. which continuing to run is a bigger risk. Are we there yet? I don't know, but it's more than fair to ask.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Yes, you are there yet. With job approval sinking into the mid-30s, you are there. Okay? And the Democratic Party knows it. Now, my prediction made six months ago, maybe more, is that Joe Biden will not be on the ticket. And something's going to happen. Something's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Might be the debate. We'll see. But that's Nate Silver. And he's a Democrat. He likes those Democrats. Jill Biden. All right. So Jill is over in Normandy and comes back for one day to sit at the Hunter Biden trial.
Starting point is 00:21:24 Didn't do Hunter any good. Jill Biden is Hunter's stepmom. Okay. So it costs the taxpayer more than $300,000. to shuttle Jill Biden back from Normandy to Delaware and then back to Normandy. She went roundtrip on a private jet, just her and the Secret Service guys. I really don't want to pay that. So round trip commercial business class would run about $7,000.
Starting point is 00:21:59 That will be reimbursed by the Biden people to the government, but 345,000 gets billed to me and you. No. No. This is wrong. Trump didn't do anything today that we know of. He doesn't put out a public schedule like Biden does. He's going to have some meeting on a Thursday, some business thing,
Starting point is 00:22:31 and then he's going to Detroit. over the weekend for a big People's Convention rally. That's where Trump is. Gallup poll, this is very interesting. So Americans are divided into three political categories. Conservative, liberal, and moderate. Moderate, independent, I call it. All right?
Starting point is 00:22:56 Not swaying one way or the other based upon personal beliefs. They're open to hearing what the arguments are. Three. So Gallup takes a survey of 1,024 adults about what ideology are you. First question. Thinking about social issues, would you say your views are conservative, 32%, moderate 32, liberal 33? Wow. Now, 10 years ago, it was conservative 24, moderate 35, liberal 30.
Starting point is 00:23:33 So conservatives have made the biggest gains in 10 years on social issues. Countries becoming more conservative, as I predicted it would. With all this woke garbage? Okay? No. Thinking about economic issues, are you conservative 39, moderate 35, liberal 23. Sorry, socialist, Bernie Sanders. 10 years ago, conservative 42, so that's a slight drop.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Moderate 34, about the same liberal 21. All right. So conservatives outnumber liberals, but it's fairly close. It's the moderates who will decide the election. Starting point is 00:25:31 suing or threatening to sue Joe Biden because of his executive order trying to limit migrants coming across the southern border. So you wants an open border. I said it's the ACLU is no longer First Amendment organization. That's how it started at. It's a socialist organization. Oh, Riley. All right, let me prove it. You ready? Okay, number one. And these are quotes taken from the ACLU itself.
Starting point is 00:26:05 The American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana announced today. First payments of a guaranteed monthly income program that will provide financial support to individuals and families whose lives have been significantly impacted by racist policing. thing. Mass incarceration and criminalization of poverty. That means that the ACLU wants to give criminals money because criminals are the victims, not the people that they hurt and steal from. No, they themselves are the victim. That's number one. If that doesn't drive you away from the ACLU nothing will. Second, quote, guaranteeing universal paid family leave could help reduce the sacrifices required of any parent. Fathers have a major role to play in making this dream a reality.
Starting point is 00:27:02 So the ACLU wants money in an extended way given to people who have babies. That's socialism. So is the first one. Third one. The ACLU has suggested the following to make education more equitable. Remove financial barriers to enrollment. That means free college. Adopt guaranteed admissions. That means no testing. Everybody who wants to go to college goes. Improve access from community college to a four-year degree. That means no fees at all. So I show you wants no fees to any college. Government picks it up. All that's socialism, that a socialist outfit. They want the government to control cradle to grave what you do. Home ownership costs, not buying a home, maintaining a home. And this is why I think Biden, if he does make it,
Starting point is 00:28:00 will lose. Okay. They are up 26 percent since 2020. Okay, remember Biden took over January 2021. COVID came in, a year before that. So the cost of maintaining your dwelling is up 26%. The average U.S. single family home costs you $18,000 to maintain it a year. And that doesn't count property taxes or all that. That's just shingles and stuff you got to do to keep the home. heat, air conditioning that's in there, okay? That's up $1,500 a month since Trump. Hurts, combine that with food and gas. So home insurance, energy, internet, cable, everything's up, up, up, up because of the
Starting point is 00:28:57 Biden inflation. Here are the highest home ownership costs. Utah, Idaho, Hawaii. Montana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, California. So if you look at all of those places, they're either heat or air conditioning, you have to have to survive. Okay, you ever hear of an actor named John Legu Zawa? I'm not saying his name right.
Starting point is 00:29:30 You know him, there he is. Okay, he was in Carlito's Way, John Wick, let me give it another shot. John Legu Zamo. Okay. John Leguizamo. I got it. John Leguizamo. Okay, so John is a socialist.
Starting point is 00:29:46 And he wants equity. He wants non-white people to get preferential treatment. And he took out an ad of expensive ad in the New York Times, touting that, quote, I know everyone is exhausted about inclusion, but not us who are not included. So that's why I took this ad out in the New York Times. White peoples were only 58.9% of the population, but overrepresented in top positions across the board.
Starting point is 00:30:18 They are the decision makers in tech banking, corporations, medicine, streamers, and Hollywood. America is better when it is inclusive. It is more profitable, more creative. Let's not give up. I'm still woke. Are you? No, I'm not. And I'm sending Legazama a not woke mug, just to annoy him.
Starting point is 00:30:49 So here's the mistake that this guy makes. And I think he's a good guy. I don't know him. He thinks that promoting skin color is going to lead to efficiency. That never happens. Okay. It has to be a meritocracy. It has to be the smartest people get the job. Now, that's not always the case in America. I know it. You know it. There's a lot of nepotism. There's a lot of favoritism. And there are people of color who don't advance as a way they should. Absolutely true. But you don't make laws promoting skin color advancement. That's not democracy. You try to reform the companies and industries that aren't giving people of color a fair shake.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Okay, smart life is a good one. Hamburgers and hot dogs, fairly cheap, throw them on the grill. You go to the game, got the hot dog, got the hamburger, shake shack, all of that, McDonald's. We are a nation of hamburger and hot dog eaters. But that isn't really a good thing for you. So NBC News analyzes hot dogs versus hamburgers as far as nutrition. Quote, from a calorie standpoint, the hot dog is the winner.
Starting point is 00:32:25 But from an overall perspective, the hamburger is a better eating option. The four-ounce burger is about six times the amount of protein. as a hot dog, but about a quarter of the sodium, salt, unquote. Okay, I have no quibble with that. I think that is true. I like both hamburgers and hot dogs. I am partial to kosher hot dogs. I got a great kosher deli near me, but I don't, it's once every two weeks. I go in there, I get mustard on it, light crout, always the best. I go to the Gans at the Dodger Yankee game on Saturday night.
Starting point is 00:33:10 I didn't go for the hot dog or the burger. And Yankee Stadium has great food. So I went for, you know, something healthier than that. But I like them. But I almost chart it. One burger a week. Hot dogs once every two weeks. And I feel a lot better.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Because when I eat that stuff, you get older, it's harder to digest. It kind of weighs you down, you know what I mean? But I wouldn't throw them out, you know, because it's part of life. You just don't want, you don't want to be eating kale. Oh, kale. Ooh. I like green beans. I had green beans last night.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Green beans are good. Cale, makes me shudder. Smart life. All right. Doomsday, 48% of the American people. public believe they will live to see climate change destroy Earth. Whoa, it's coming. There's a poll by avocado green mattress. I don't know about this. 5,000 American participants evenly split among the states. All right, avocado green mattress. And it says that 48%
Starting point is 00:34:27 of Americans believe they'll see climate change destroy the world. Here are the highest states, Hawaii, Vermont, New Mexico, Washington State, Minnesota. People there are deathly afraid of climate change. Me, if it comes, it comes. What am I going to do about it? All right, I'm not a polluter. I use as less energy as I can. Stay in history, June 11th, 1979.
Starting point is 00:34:52 John Wayne dies at age 72 of stomach cancer 45 years ago. He was born Marion Robert Morrison, May 26, 1907, family moved to L.A. in 1916. He went to USC, and then he got into Hollywood, big strapping guy, good-looking, 100 films, 200 TV shows. He was very, very charismatic. One best actor, Oscar for true grit, but his best movie, in my humble opinion, was his last one, the shootest in 1976 roll it you hold it right there give me a wallet they get a little easy with that cannon mister just throw me a wallet yes sir a little something extra belly ache, you boob. Give me that wallet. Just the wallet.
Starting point is 00:36:08 I can hardly move. You done shot a hole in my stomach. I appreciate that. You're gonna leave me here. Well, it's quite obvious that's what you were gonna do to me. Get out of the way. Mr. You better find yourself another line of work. This one sure don't fix your pistol. Unbelievably charismatic and strong on camera. There are only four actors who I have put in that John Wayne category. The Duke himself, Clint Eastwood, Spencer Tracy, and Sean Connery.
Starting point is 00:36:55 So, Clint Eastwood. dies on this day, 45 years ago. Back with a final thought on Caitlin Clark in a moment. Okay, so the woman basketball player, Caitlin Clark, is in the pros now after a fabulous career at the University of Iowa, not pick for the Olympics in Paris. Roll the tape.
Starting point is 00:37:17 What was your level of disappointment, not hearing your name on the roster? Honestly, no disappointment. Like, I think it just gives you something to work for. You know, it's a dream. you know hopefully one day i can be there and uh i think it's just a little more motivation uh you remember that and um you know hopefully in four years when four years comes back around you know i can be there was a good statement i'm not sure i believe her i i would have liked to have seen her on the team as
Starting point is 00:37:41 you know an alternate at least i mean it's good for the united states so miss clark uh signed a deal worth about 340 000 that's big money in the w nba um the base salary of a rookie in the NBA, the men's league is 12 million. But the women's league doesn't draw nearly as much, and they don't have the big TV money. And there's a lot of jealousy directed at Caitlin Clark.
