Welcome to the No Spin News Thursday, June 20th already, 2019.
Take your country back.
Busy Newsday, we had everything for you.
Iran causing trouble, and it's important to understand the big picture here,
why this is happening, and what the USA might do.
All right?
So the very perceptive column by my favorite column is Victor Davis-Hansson.
And he basically says Iran wants.
to provoke a war because the mullers know they're going to be overthrown if their economy
continues to deteriorate in the face of U.S. and other country sanctions, which are imposed now.
So Iran wants to get into some kind of confrontation with the USA to mobilize the radical Islamic
world, I think that would be accurate, and stave off this economic.
Armageddon. It's an interesting theory. I think it has a good chance of being true.
Now, on our side, what do we do? This drone that the Iranian shot down, that's $100 million
taxpayer dollars. Boom. So I was on Bernie and Sid, W.A.B.C. Radio this morning. Of course,
they asked me about it, and I said this, go. If you are a U.S. president, and very few people understand this,
The process can get out of control very easily, and it got out of control in Iraq, and we all saw that under Bush the Younger, got out of control in Vietnam under Lyndon Johnson.
So you have to basically say, okay, now what do I want to accomplish here?
Yes, they're being provocative, the mullahs, but we know that.
We know that they're not a responsible government.
They sponsor terrorism.
They do all kinds of terrible things to the world.
We know that.
So what is our goal here?
Do we want to destroy the country?
We can do it.
But there'll be unintended consequences all over the place.
Do we want to slowly strangle them with economic sanctions?
We're doing that now.
See, that's happening now, which is why Iran is doing what it's doing, slashing out.
So I don't really know this is a very interesting test of President Trump's leadership and his view.
Okay, so President Trump called in congressional leaders to the White House today.
They met with intelligence officials.
They discussed the Iran situation.
As of airtime, we don't know if anything is going to happen directly to hurt Iran.
Here's what I would do if I were president of the United States.
Okay, you already have sanctions imposed.
I would impose 100% sanctions.
That means that the United States of America does not do business with Iran or any other country that does business with Iran.
All right, so out to Los Angeles, second largest city in the country, enormous problems there.
First, a quick break.
If you are over the age of 50, I have an important message for you.
There's a true alternative to AARP, the liberal retirement group, that lobbies in favor of progressive policies.
For less than $20 a year, an AMAC membership gives you members-only pricing on car insurance,
roadside assistance, discounts on hotels and travel, cell phone plans, discount dental plans,
and on and on and on and on.
So please join more than one million fellow Americans right now at amac.us.
That's amac.com.us.
And yes, I am a member.
Visit amac.us, amat.us.
So citywide in L.A. homeless is up between 12 and 16% a year.
It's way more than that.
Almost like San Francisco, similar permissive politicians running the show, no rules.
They allow the drug addicts to run wild.
That's what's driving the homeless situation there.
and now there's an effort to recall Mayor Eric Garcetti, again, far left guy, okay, because Garcetti
can't control the homeless, can't control it. So downtown L.A., which is apart from most of the
residential areas, all right, is overrun. And a drug addicts, primarily drug addicts, and typhus is
there. I predict bubonic plague will soon be there, rats all over the place, insects,
I mean, it's really gross.
Really gross.
So there's a recall effort to get Garcetti out because Garcetti's the mayor.
And Garcetti didn't know what he's doing and doesn't care.
All right.
Like San Francisco, drug addicts know they can congregate together on it's easier to buy drugs,
easier to take drugs.
They got pals doing the same thing.
They don't have to pay any rent.
They can sit there in a tent and wherever they are.
They share everything, including needles, which, of course, spreads AIDS, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
All right, these are huge camps now, thousands of people.
We like you, if you want, sign copies of the United States of Trump.
Get those orders in now.
Because I'm going to already have 35,000, 35,000 advance orders for that book.
Just on Bill O'Reilly.com alone.
That doesn't count Amazon or Barnes & Noble or any of them.
So it's going to be a big book.
And a lot of people are going to want sign books for gifts, Christmas or birthdays, whatever.
If you get them in now, I can do that and we just put them right there to be sent out and you'll get the books first.
But if you order a signed book after September, then there's that big backlog.
See?
So we'll take another quick break.
I'll be back with my thought of the day, which I think you're going to find interesting.
But I could be an egomaniac.
and I want you to kind of tell me whether I am or not.
So let's roll it first.
Here's an exciting announcement.
The first ever cruise through history
will be held next spring.
It's the opportunity to share your values,
beliefs, and things you hold dear
with the ones you hold dear.
Now, the ship will sail the Mediterranean out of Venice,
then the eastern Mediterranean coast
visiting Croatia, Greece, and finally Israel, all with Glenn Beck as cruise director.
We'll take a guided tour of the Holy Land, looking forward to that.
Beck and I'll do a couple of shows together, along with David Barton, Rabbi Lepin, and Beck's
buddy, Stu.
Please visit the website, come sailaway.com, come sailaway.com for details.
And finally tonight, the final thought.
That's a little redundant.
Finally tonight, final thought, but that's the way it is.
So I've been telling you that my analysis, major analysis this week,
was the President Trump at a good night on his Tuesday launch.
Raise a lot of money, $25 million a one day.
That's a lot.
But he was looking back too much.
Spent on too much Mueller time.
Remember Miller time?
This is Mueller time.
We got it.
You won.
And now, in order to win a tough reelection fight, which it will be,
you've got to really spell out what you've done and what you want to do
and how we're going to get to the place you want to be.
So that takes time and it takes clarity.
So today, in the Wall Street Journal's lead editorial, it says,
quote, the other paradox of the Trump presidency
is his low approval rating despite a stronger economy.
Poll show his approval rating on the economy is above 50%,
but his overall approval, 44% in the real clear politics average.
The difference is best explained by Mr.
Trump's polarizing behavior, which is alienated, in particular, college-educated voters
and Republican women.
In the latest Wall Street Journal, NBC poll, Mr. Trump is underwater with white college-educated
women by a remarkable 20 percentage points, unquote.
So, you know, basically, okay, style is hurting Donald Trump.
Not to his core.
Core loves what he does, but to the people who are not ideologically engaged.
So my advice, issues, issues, issues.
Now, you can hit back because you're going to have to.
If you're President Trump, you're going to have to hit back.
But then you zip back to, hey, you know, do you really believe the Democrats are going to have a strong economy when they want to raise taxes and impose socialistic stuff?
Do you really want to do? Is that what you want?
So that's the pathway to re-election for Donald Trump.
Whether he does it or not, I don't know.
maybe after reading the United States of Trump, do you think it'll read it?
Do you think it'll read it? I don't know if Donald Trump will read it. He's not a big book reader.
And I'm sorry if I'm egotistical, but I know by just watching and listening, that what we say here on bill o'Reilly.com on the no-spin news, pretty much gets picked up everywhere, which is a compliment, but I could be delusional.
I hope I'm not. Have a good weekend. Anything happens in Iran? We're right on it.
And we got lots of great stuff for you this week.
Again, we pile stuff on every single day.
So please check back and we'll see you soon.
