Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Monday, January 6th, 25. Happy New Year. And we will continue to stand up for our country. So, big news day. I've got a couple of things to tell you that I think will rivet you this evening. I don't think I'm being over hype. But we've got some very good information for you. Justin Trudeau is out in Canada. I'm not going to spend a lot of time on that because it's Canada.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And it's not going to be the 51st state as Donald Trump has been poking them. But Canadians and Americans have the same problems, basically. High prices, woke nonsense, and Justin was attached to Joe Biden, though he's gone. By Josh, see you. Can it be wise to elect a much more moderate traditional government than these crazy left wingers who just come in and destroy stuff. And that's why Donald Trump won the election, because Biden was such a disaster. And we got a lot to say about Mr. Biden tonight. So I just got off an eight-day road trip. The final part of it was a meeting with President Trump at Marlago,
Starting point is 00:02:18 and I'll tell you all about that as well. But we begin tonight with an absolute outrage. And it's has changed my opinion of President Biden. I didn't like him as. a president I felt he's a second worse in history now I don't like him as a person and I could be wrong because he's so diminished but I don't like you Joe but what you just did over the weekend was uncalled for so the radical leftist George Soros was given the Medal of Freedom by Biden and that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo so the Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian award in the USA. There's another one called the Congressional Gold Medal that's up there as well.
Starting point is 00:03:05 And the definition of the Medal of Freedom is to be presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity values or security of the United States, world peace or other significant societal, public, or private endeavors, unquote. It was established in 1963 by President Kennedy and it supersedes all the other honors before it. So Biden has a list of people, I'll tell you some of them in a moment, that were awarded it this year, Saturday, January 4th. But George Soros got it, got the middle. It's 94 years old. He didn't show up. He said his son, Alexander, who now runs the Soros Empire, down to D.C. to pick up the medal. Okay. Now, if you don't know Soros, I mean, I've been analyzing this guy for decades.
Starting point is 00:04:01 I mean, I pinpointed him in a very early book called Culture Warrior as a massively destructive force in the United States. And he is. There's no two sides to this story if you're a clear thinker. If you are a left-wing loon, like apparently Joe Biden is, then you can be angry at my analysis. But if you're a fair-minded American, it doesn't matter whether you're a Democrat or Republican. This guy is dangerous, this Soros. So I searched around, and I found a soundbite that really encapsulates my anger towards Soros.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I delivered it on June 8, 2022, go. In 2002, French authorities charged him with insider trading. He was convicted and fined three million. dollars in France, which he had to pay. Now, the U.S. does not extradite because there was no jail time involved. He was tried in abstention. So he stayed in the USA, but I had to pay the fine. 2004, Soros pledged millions of dollars to MoveOn.org, a vicious left-wing group, to oppose the re-election of President Bush. Then he really swung into action. Between 2018 and 21, and George Soros financed Radical Cook County State Attorney Kim Fox, who remember her,
Starting point is 00:05:28 and Chicago is one of the most dangerous places in the country, largely because of Kim Fox and Lori Life with the mayor. Also, the city of St. Louis falling completely apart, he financed the city attorney Kim Gardner. He also financed George Gasson, as we told you, and the Radical Philadelphia DA Lawrence Crestner. He put in more than $8 million. to these campaigns, George Soros. He also gave Stacey Abrams, again running for governor, a million dollars, and he'll give her a million more. And how does he do this?
Starting point is 00:06:05 He does it through political action committees. All of these donations to the progressive far-lefts are legal. And finally, the midterm elections. Currently, Soros is the top individual donor on the progressive side for the 2022. midterms. He's contributed 126 million so far. Now, George Soros, in my opinion, has led to the deaths of thousands of Americans. How can I back that up? All right. He supports open borders. Soros. He gave this April, 2004, the Fund for Policy Reform, $60 million. He gave another astronomical donation to a PAC called Democracy, a super political action committee that, again, supports all
Starting point is 00:07:12 kinds of non-punishment for criminals. Soros supported a PAC that wanted to defund the police in Minneapolis after the George Floyd riots, on and on and on and on. Okay? And we're talking hundreds of millions of dollars now, going into these places, which matters. As far as the campaign is concerned, he funneled more than 15 million of future forward USA, which tried to get Kamala, Harris elected, and he gave Harris victory fund, $1.2 million.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Now, all of this money, nobody gives money like this, and he targets. Okay, so Alvin Bragg, the guy who tortured Donald Trump, the guy who won't prosecute criminals in New York City, he gets money. I mentioned Kraser in Philadelphia, Gasson in Los Angeles. Fox in Chicago. Now, when you don't prosecute criminals, violent criminals, they go out and they hurt other people. When you don't stem the border chaos, when you allow 14 million non-U.S. citizens in here unvetted,
Starting point is 00:08:35 you're going to have violence, you're going to have terrorism, you're going to have drugs because drugs come in with the migrants. source behind all that. And Biden gives them the Medal of Freedom? This is a slap in every single American's face. This is the middle finger. Now, I don't know whether Biden even understands any of what I just told you. If he were here with me right now and I said,
Starting point is 00:09:03 Mr. President, why did you give George Soros a Medal of Freedom? I do not believe he would have a cogent answer. I do not believe that all the stuff I just gave. you about the massive amount of money to go into progressive far-left organizations. He couldn't calibrate it. But I'm not cutting him any slack.
Starting point is 00:09:22 This is a disgrace. What he just did, Biden just did on Saturday. Of course, the media ignores it. I ignore it. Oh, no, I'm not even going to mention. Wall Street Journal did an article today on it,
Starting point is 00:09:38 on All These Medal. One sentence on Soros. One sentence, just said financier, George Soros got the metal. Everybody knows what this is. Final point. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.
Starting point is 00:10:07 That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver. through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. In confronting the presidents, I say that Biden's the second worst president ever, next to James Buchanan, the guy who, totally booted the Civil War. There was dissent from my co-author, Martin Dugard. He doesn't think Biden was that bad. It's in a book. You can read it.
Starting point is 00:11:57 I win. Nobody can justify this. Nobody. All right. It's just, I could spend five hours. here documenting where Soros' money has gone and how it has hurt, killed, maimed American. And there's no denying it. But it's Biden, who is the real villain here.
Starting point is 00:12:33 As I said in the beginning, changed my opinion of the man. Other recipients, Bono, Hillary Clinton, I don't mind Hillary Clinton. I know Steele dossier, I know Libya, but it's a political thing for Biden, that doesn't wrangle me. Magic Johnson, Denzel Washington, Anna Wind Tower, okay, it's fine. I don't have any problem with that. Okay, last Thursday I was summoned to Marlago for a meeting with President Trump. I didn't know what the meeting was. I was, and I'm going to tell you about my eight-day road trip, which was, began in California,
Starting point is 00:13:19 and originally I was going to fly back to New York from Los Angeles, but then I got summoned. And so when a president of the United States asks you to do something, and four have asked me to do things. for president, it's like, you do them. I mean, unless it's something illegal, you know, it's, that's just it. I'm a patriot. The president wants to talk to me, I talk to him or her, as the case may be. Okay, so I fly from L.A. to Miami, and I'll tell you about Miami, and it's not good.
Starting point is 00:13:57 And I drive up to Marlago in Palm Beach with my son. we show up at Maelago on Thursday night. And I, again, I had no idea why I was there. I jokingly said, hey, if I'm going to make this trip all the way up there, you're going to give me dinner, right? And he said, yeah, I said, okay. So I knew I was going to get something to eat. So I walk in, and it's a very good staff up there.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Trump's got a very good staff, and they're very polite, and they're younger. And so one of the aides says, look, the president liked to see you. So we go over to his office. He's on the second floor. I walk up. And there's a cabinet meeting right in place going on. You've got six advisors there. Now, he didn't say it was off the record that I was at the cabinet meeting, but I'm not going to get specific about it until I speak to him again.
Starting point is 00:14:58 But I'll tell you, generally speaking, and I get plunked. down the middle of a cabinet meeting with tariffs being discussed and Panama and Greenland and inflation and Xi and Putin, you name it. And Mr. Trump is asking for my opinion, which I gave him. And some of it was against what the other people in the room were saying. But it was all, it was light. I kept it light. It wasn't any of that. I just, well, maybe you look at it this way.
Starting point is 00:15:39 I'll tell you, it was the most fascinating evening of my life, politically speaking. That's how, and it was really unbelievable. And about halfway through the cabinet meeting, the president said, where's your son? I said he's out with your secretaries, and I hope he's not causing trouble. You just bring him in. I mean, and for 20 more minutes, and he's a political science major. But anyway, it was very, very instructive.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I wrote a column on it. It is posted on bill o'Reilly.com. It's called Trump Ascendant. So you'll get more of it there. And then we did have dinner. It was good. Food at Mar-a-Lago is excellent. And that was a lighter tone at dinner, but some media discussions and things like that. You know, I think the president values my opinion because my opinion is independent.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Not along any ideological party lines, as you know. But it was three hours, and boy, did I learn a lot. And I will be able to use what. I've learned in these broadcasts. Okay, today is January 6th, four years since the attack on the Capitol, the riot there. Here's some stats. Fifteen hundred eighty-three people have been charged in that riot. Two hundred fifty have been tried and convicted.
Starting point is 00:17:16 One thousand twenty defendants pled guilty or had their cases moved for some reason. Two of the rioters have been acquitted in a court of law, only two, all right? 670 out of the 1583 were sentenced to prison, but we don't know their status. They won't tell us, and I think Trump will, when it gets in, are you aware, is your sentence is over, or is it time, sir? we can't get a definition on it. Now, the controversy is that Donald Trump may pardon some or all of the January 6 rioters. Here's what I would do. Upon taking office, I would appoint a three-judge panel, no ideology in the judge's background,
Starting point is 00:18:14 just excellent jurists, take them out of law schools, whatever, vet them. Three, there to review every case. all 1,583, those that the judges, two to one, would be the majority, okay, say, hey, not fair, in our opinion, pardon right away. But there are cases where Americans assaulted police, hurt police, and did grave damage to our system. And judges say, no, that's a fair thing to do. And then all the judge's rulings would come to Mr. Trump himself, no middleman, and a president made a decision.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Fair? Okay. Jimmy Carter's funeral, as you know, he died Sunday, December 29th, 100 years old, oldest president ever. All this week, he will be honored, as he should be. Thursday, January 9th, is the funeral. Trump, Biden, Bush, the Younger, and Bill Clinton will be there and a show of respect for the office of the presidency. That's what this is about.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Not about Jimmy Carter's performance in office, not about anything else. Respect for the office. Okay, so it looks like it's all going the right way to me. You know Janet Yellen? Treasury Secretary outgoing, she says, hey, if we don't get this debt under control, the economy is going to collapse. And she's right. So she issued a statement, quote, Treasury currently expects to reach the new limit, this is the debt limit, between January 14th and 23rd, at which time it will be necessary for the Treasury to start, taking extraordinary measures. I respectfully urge Congress to act to protect a full faith and credit the United States because the government can't pay the debt.
Starting point is 00:20:25 People buy bonds, people invests in America. They get paid every month. This episode is brought to you by San Pellegrino Chau. A new kind of flavor of sparkling water. The kind made with real fruit juice, a pinch of Sicilian salt, and the sparkle of the Italian sun. With no added sugar,
Starting point is 00:20:46 and just 10 or less calories per can, enjoy with love from Italy. By San Pellegrino Chow now. I just mailchimp my marketing. You mailchimped your what? I mailedchimped my marketing with AI to create an effective marketing campaign in minutes. No, mailchimp and way.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Yes, mailchimp in way. Now I can hyper-personalize my campaigns across email and SMS. You can do all that with mailchimp. What did I just mailchimp and say? Mailchimp your marketing. Marketing with the number one AI powered email marketing and automation platform, Intuit MailChimp. Number one, based on publicly available data on competitors, customers. Plans vary. SMS available as add-ons.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Visit MailChimp.com. And we're running up so much debt that we're not able to pay the interest rates, and if we can't pay, we default, and the economy collapses. We all get this. We all understanding this. So Congress has to raise the debt ceiling. Conservatives do not want to do that. Listen to me. raise the debt ceiling, and then hope and pray that Donald Trump follows the advice of Musk and Ramoswamy and cuts spending by about 20, 25%. Not going to be easy with the military situation, and Social Security, Medicare, all of that. We got to cut it. Therefore, the spending, federal spending, will start to
Starting point is 00:22:16 come down, which will bring the debt down, because we can start to pay off some of what we owe. You do that by cutting deals in ANWR and federal lands where the energy is coming out. U.S. government needs a piece of all the profits that the companies get to pay the debt down. That's one way. But this has to be addressed by Donald Trump. I think he knows it. Bad. And it's not reported.
Starting point is 00:22:53 You don't know. People go around with the debt, the deficit. They don't even know what the difference is with the debt and the deficit. The debt is what we owe. All right? Right now, it's $38 trillion, something like that. Biden added $7,6 trillion. Trump in his four years, $6.7.
Starting point is 00:23:10 So Biden spent a million more, a trillion more than Trump. Barack Obama, $7.6 trillion, he added to the debt in eight years. We've got to stop this. Congress got to pass balanced budget amendments. New Orleans Her Attack Update, 42-year-old Shamsuddin Jabbar, Houston, near Dewell, dead, but not before. He murdered 14 people in a vehicle, hurt 35 others. Very strange.
Starting point is 00:23:41 We can't get any updates. on the people who were hurt in New Orleans. Authorities down there aren't given any updates. That's strange. Sam's Hoodin Jabbar is found with an ISIS flag. He's a crank. He's a kook. But he's dangerous. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:57 And, you know, when the story broke on January 1st, there was a report that the vehicle used in this terror attack came across the southern border at Eagle Pass, Texas. and the conservative media went wild with that. Not true. I'm going to say it again. The irresponsible press is not just left wing. You've got to wait and check.
Starting point is 00:24:33 You have to. Fox had to retract and all of that. I mean, how many times is this? going to happen. JetBlue. Find 2 million by the Department of Transportation. Finally, Pete Buttigieg at the four years. We'll find them two million because they can't be on time. Everybody knows, you know, since I broke the story in a viral way, JetBlue doesn't have enough people. They don't have enough employees to get their blank and planes off the ground. All right? Department of Transportation, you should be fining them every day. For the hell,
Starting point is 00:25:11 they put their passengers through. Every day they should get fined a million dollars. They go out of business, good. Buddha judges sits around the... And finally, in his last week, oh, we'll find him two million. Two million? That's nothing.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Oh. Now, the new guy, the new Secretary of Transportation is Sean Duffy. Another Fox guy. He was a congressperson of Wisconsin. You better get tough there, Mr. Duffy. because this is out of control, not just JetBlue. These airlines are abusing Americans, and it's got to stop.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I'm watching this. Smart life. Okay, I don't know how to put this. This is going to be a turbulent year. Why? Because unexpected things are going to pop. Economic things, stock market, dicey. All right?
Starting point is 00:26:16 I do believe Trump will get the prices down somewhat. We got nuts overseas. We got problems. You need an insurance policy. Starting point is 00:27:38 it's 95 bucks a year which works out to $8 a month this is like chunk change and this is going to our society our country is going to be more and more complicated for you to protect yourself so I'm not going to do this tout again all right as far as the detail here. But I just shake my head. If you're not protecting yourself, and don't think that these big companies are going to protect you, these insurance companies, when you file a claim, you're going to have to fight them. And we can tell you where to go and how to fight. Okay, Bill O'Reilly.com, premium membership, concierge membership. We hope you consider it. If you have gift cards from Christmas and Hanukkah, we'll take them. U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek, Murthy says, booze causes cancer.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Getting big pushback from this. I don't drink. No cracks about Irish people. Please. I've had alcoholism in my family. I don't need to drink. If I drank, I'd be in the penitentiary. I think everybody knows that.
Starting point is 00:29:04 I don't drink. Never have. But the government now said, federal government says, look, if you drink on a regular basis, you up your chances of getting breast cancer, esophagus cancer, liver, mouth, all kinds of stuff. Okay, that's what they say. Is it going to stop people of drinking? No. But you ought to know it. Secondly, experts. I think this is BS myself, but I got to report it. Expect a cup of coffee to cost $12 by the end of this year. Well, who's going to buy that? Not me. I'm not a big coffee drinker either. And when I do, I drink the little thing in the, you know, cost me a 30 cents. But 70% rise in coffee prices because of droughts and rain and fear and loathing in big coffee producers like Colombia, places like that. Brazil, Vietnam.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Anyway, they're trying to scare everybody that coffee will be $12 a cup by the end of this year. I don't know why. Are you that rich? But that's me. This day in history, January 6, 1919.
Starting point is 00:31:44 President Theodore Roosevelt dies at the age of 60. Pretty young man. All right? From an ambulism at his home in Oyster Bay, Sagamore Hill, right down the street from me. Teddy was a great man. He's on Mount Rushmore, as you know. served two terms they took over for McKinley after he was assassinated in 1901, was re-elected in 1904, and we go over this in confronting the presidency. He was a great man because he lifted America up. Like Ronald Reagan, very similar to Reagan, he lifted the country up. He was an honest man. He was an environmentalist. I mean, I just came back from Yosemite. I'll tell you about it in a moment. Teddy was out there. And Teddy was just to me, really an excellent leader.
Starting point is 00:32:34 And you may not know this, but he was fifth cousin, Teddy Roosevelt, to Franklin D. Roosevelt. And when FDR got married to Eleanor, Teddy gave away the bride. Wow, that marriage did not turn out that well. Again, in my book, you'll see why. But Teddy Roosevelt died 106 years ago today. Back with my trip in a moment. Okay, final thought. So here's what happened.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Day after Christmas, we have a traditional celebration here on Long Island, as we always do. Very nice. And go to Mass, and we have a nice dinner, and my sister does it a great job doing all that. For me, we'd have sandwiches. And then on December 26, my son and I fly from New York to San Francisco. to go to Yosemite National Park and stay at the Awani Hotel. Awani Hotel is one of these park residences
Starting point is 00:33:41 built in the 1920s. I've always wanted to stay there. Now, I've been to Yosemite before. It is so dramatic. Those peaks, and they gave me a room because they liked me overlooking the peaks. I had to look up. Whoa, it was so stunning.
Starting point is 00:33:58 and I did pictures of it on Bill O'Reilly.com. The problem was when we land in San Francisco, we rented a car from Enterprise. I wanted a four-wheel drive, large car, because we had to go into the Sierra's to get to Yosemite. They said, okay, but then they didn't have it when I showed up.
Starting point is 00:34:18 That's not unusual. Rent a car companies, well, we don't have. What are you going to do about? They give me a no-wheel drive. Kia. I had a drive through a snowstorm to Yosemite. Harrowing. It reminded me of my drive in Romania. I did it. But boy, oh boy, was I angry at Enterprise. Ooh, what can I mean? So we get there. We have a great time. Then we go from Yosemite to Monterey Carmel. perhaps the most beautiful area in the country.
Starting point is 00:35:00 If you haven't been to Monterey, California, and Carmel, we've got to go. Stunning. Anything that's down a big sur, ooh. And my friend owns the best restaurant in California, the Sardine Factory, John Steinbeck. Oh, man, so great. Then we go from Monterey Carmel to L.A. Nice drive through, you couldn't go down PCH because there was another mudslide or something. So you had to get down to Central Valley.
Starting point is 00:35:36 I like the Central Valley, California. Zip into L.A. I wrote a column on the disintegration of Westwood by UCLA. A message should read that.
