Starting point is 00:00:00 Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the Nostman News, Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023, stand up for your country. Well, the Trump case in Manhattan is now downgraded to a fiasco. And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. So befuddled district attorney, Alvin Bragg, did not call the grand jury in today. He let them stay home. And remember, today was supposed to be the big day for an indictment of Donald Trump. So who knows what's going on?
Starting point is 00:00:53 I can only guess. All right, this is an alert that I'm not basing this on anything other than speculation. Bragg has a problem with the statute of limitations on these charges against Trump in New York State. You got a problem, a major, major problem. The misdemeanors, two years, Trump allegedly used money he did not declare. to pay Stormy Daniels not to talk about him. Okay, two years on that.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Bragg's trying to bump that up to a felony by saying it's tied into Trump's elections, and that would be a felony of five years, but even so, he didn't bring the case in time. So now Bragg faces a situation of incompetence if he spends all of this money that New Yorkers have to pay. and arrests Trump and brings them up and all of that to New York.
Starting point is 00:02:00 And then it's thrown out like that, then Bragg is finished. He's finished anyway, but he's finished quicker if that happens. I think that's what's holding it up. Now, the Daily Mail, which is not a reliable source of anything, says that Trump will now be arraigned next week. okay next Wednesday but
Starting point is 00:02:30 he was according to the Daily Mail was supposed to be indicted this Wednesday so there you go the rest of the press doesn't really know meanwhile the nation's becoming even more divided politics are
Starting point is 00:02:44 becoming even more hateful so the progressive left of which Alvin Bragg is a standard bearer has succeeded again in fracturing this country, and it's not necessary. It's not necessary. Everybody knows that Trump paid Stormy Daniels.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Okay? So what? Bragg does not prosecute violent criminal felons in New York. He doesn't prosecute many of them. Let's it go. Throws it out. And now we got this? So everybody knows it's politics.
Starting point is 00:03:27 There's no two-size to that story. So I was on Hannity Radio today, and we have it posted on Bill O'Reilly.com. And I basically walked through, even if Bragg does indict, case is never going to get to court, ever. And so why are we doing this? And I'll remind you, and I'm sure you know already, the feds looked into it, declined. And Cy Vance, the previous DA in Manhattan, looked into it, with decline. Come on. This is just ridiculous. So the only people that are prospering in a country
Starting point is 00:04:02 because of this are the media. And not even big time. The TV ratings were not stellar last night. Okay. There are some look-ins, but not a lot. But the media will benefit, and that's all. Now, the two camps that I mentioned hate each other so much. I can't even describe it at this point. So yesterday we saw supporters a brag who won Trump and Cups, roll the tape. Guilty, guilty, guilty. Guilty, guilty. Guilty, guilty.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Yeah, due process, right? They got the American flag there. what America stands for. Those are fascists. Guilty, guilty, guilty. How do you know? You don't know anything? No due process. And then you had, you know, the Trump supporters go. And we believe what's happening is wrong and that there's nothing that would entitle Alvin Bragg to go after President Trump the way he is. It's ridiculous. It's not going to hold muster. Okay. And down in Mala Lago, there were some Trump supporters lining the roads there. And again, this is division. It doesn't do the country any good.
Starting point is 00:05:22 at all. Meanwhile, Putin and she, of course, they're going to capitalize on this. And it does give cover to Joe Biden, and I'll get to him in a minute, who absolutely is doing nothing, while vexing problems and interest rates went up another quarter today because of Biden's inflation. I mean, he says, sir, he doesn't do anything. It is so horrifying to me that this man does absolutely nothing to solve any problem that we have. Okay, so let's just recap. I was going to use Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, but I'm not. Because they just don't matter.
Starting point is 00:06:04 The late-night comics, I'm like, I had the soundbites all ready to go, but what's the point, right? So this Trump thing's a low-level beef, no matter who it was. It wouldn't matter if it was Sally or Rolling. or whatever, it's a low-level beer. It would never see the light of day in New York if it went for Trump. Everybody knows that, okay? It's having a deterrent,
Starting point is 00:06:29 a terrible effect on the country, all right, deleterious effect, word of the day, on the country. And where is it going to get bragg? It's going to get bragged out of a job. I mean, he's done, in my opinion. And finally, Bill Clinton overcame a lot worse than this, Okay, you know, you remember.
Starting point is 00:06:53 So Trump, he's still in the ballpark, and that's a memo. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week, I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the President of the United States.
Starting point is 00:07:21 These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about. the juicy details in the world's politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. I was bringing John Solomon. Now, I like John on a program because he's a CEO and editor of Just the News. And John is conservative. he wouldn't argue with that. But he's a reporter. And, you know, I've been following him for many years, and I watch just the news, and I see John. And I check out what he says, because I never take anything that anybody says on face value. We always check. And John checks. So I asked John to
Starting point is 00:08:37 look into the House Republicans who are furious about this Trump situation and bring in to tell you and me how this Trump alleged prosecution, which now, as I said, is a fiasco, is going to play out in Congress. So you got anything for us? What's the headline, John? I do. Listen, I think that in the next two weeks, you're going to hear of a new whistleblower, or a new set of whistleblowers. They're going to explain why Hunter Biden's case never got to a decision on whether he should be indicted for taxes. Listen, the proof is sitting out and open. We have his emails where he acknowledged he didn't pay taxes. The guy who gave him the money, he said he didn't pay his taxes. There is going to be an answer why this tax case wasn't brought.
Starting point is 00:09:19 And when people get that answer, I think they're going to further have that erosion of trust in the system. I think you tweeted out earlier today. The American judicial system is near collapse. I think that's very true. When the American people no longer trust the system, they see it as a political tool instead of a legal tool. They lose trust in the system. It does collapse. I think we're at a very sensitive moment.
Starting point is 00:09:40 And I think what Republicans plan to do is, All right, you want to take on Donald Trump with really bogus charges that some judge is going to throw out? Wait till you see what we drill into at your Justice Department. I think that's where it's going. That's what I said they won. And the tweet that I said was, look, Americans believe, or at least used to, that there's equal justice under the law. And there isn't now. Okay?
Starting point is 00:10:03 So criminals are actually favored in cities like New York and L.A., in Chicago. I mean, they have far more rights than the victims. I mean, that's insane. And if you bring a lawsuit into civil court, you better have a million dollars, because that's what you're going to pay the lawyers. And the judge may or may not uphold the legal contract. I just say, I don't care. They do what they want to do. And if you want to appeal, you better have another million dollars.
Starting point is 00:10:28 So our justice system has fallen apart. But I said on day one that the Republicans in the House of Representatives are going to now ramp up to show the Democratic Party and the progressive left. You want to do this to a Republican. Here's what we're going to do to you. It's almost like revenge, right? It is. Listen, just like physics, every reaction creates an equal and opposite reaction. Republicans are going to swing the pendulum back at Democrats,
Starting point is 00:10:56 and it's going to be uncomfortable, and there's a lot of vulnerabilities. There's an amazing corruption trial going on in the Illinois State House with their House Speaker, Madigan, and literally 20 years of corruption that's going to be erred in a lot of ways. I think Bragg's going to be hauled before Congress if he does pull the trigger on this indictment and be asked to answer for why do you let felons go and downgrade felonies for violent crimes, but upgrade a misdemeanor to felony when you're going after a political enemy. And then I think the third question comes in. And I think in the last two weeks, James Comer has made some really significant gains. You said to me about a year ago, and I'm not, I 100% agreed with you. Hunter Biden doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:11:34 It only matters what Joe Biden did in the scandal. they are getting closer and closer to showing money moving into foreign accounts, into business accounts, business accounts, and the family members' accounts, and family members' accounts, into Joe Biden beneficial things, such as paying his bills or paying off debts for him. That pattern will ultimately end up at the president's door if they substantiate the bank records. Now Joe Biden has to explain two things, why he had a crooked system and why he looked into the camera and lied to us. That's what's going to matter to the American people. Republicans have the bullseye marked on the map now.
Starting point is 00:12:07 going after what did joe biden benefit from his son they're making some real strides okay so this is a classic example of be careful what you wish for progressive left and democratic party because now the incentive and it was always an incentive by the republicans let's be honest about it to show the biden family was corrupt they wanted to do it they are and do it but now it's on steroids yeah because of the of the trump situation now let's advance it a little bit further. So Alvin Bragg, if subpoenaed by a congressional committee, whether it's Comer or Jim Jordan or whoever, okay, he has to appear as a law enforcement agent, correct? He does, yeah. I mean, otherwise we'll end up with another Steve Bannon prosecution situation.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yeah, he'll show up. He'll probably do the Bob Mueller thing. I can't talk about things under investigation, but he'll have to show up for sure. Okay, but he can't talk about his the abysmal record of not prosecuting felons. He can, they're going to ask him about that. And then, you know, when they start to ask him about Trump, he's never going to say, yeah, I did this because of political reasons and he's not going to say it. But here's what's interesting in this. His predecessor, Cy Vance, the DA in Manhattan before Bragg, hated Trump.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Way back. Way, way back. No doubt. Okay. buys him wanted to hurt him all day long he would not bring this case that's right okay so a legitimate question to brag would be you know and you ran over your predecessor's decision and i think the congressional committee will have that um why did you decide to go the opposite way yeah i mean he'd have to answer something like that uh based upon the law but again i think you're
Starting point is 00:14:06 right, he'll try to dance and this and that, but he'll look so bad in the process. There'll be a place of vulnerability for him that he can't hide behind investigations. What did you do for the $3,000, $500,000 that George Soros gave you? What sort of conversations did you have with George Soros? How often do you talk to people in the political world about your job? And I think that's an area that these prosecutors are becoming much more vulnerable. And I've been going, I sued in St. Louis, another Soros Funded Prosecutor, Kimberly Gardner. got all sorts of extraordinary documents, two years later, showing how politics were infusing
Starting point is 00:14:42 her prosecution decision. That's an area that I think Republicans told me, if they get a help and brag, it's going to be uncomfortable. He's not going to be able to say, I can't talk about its investigations, politics. I'm glad you mentioned Gardner, the DA of St. Louis, which now is the highest homicide rate in a country. Now, she was fired by the Missouri Attorney General, but she's still there. What's the status of that? It's funny. I just had Andrew Bailey, the Attorney General, on my show a little bit of go. He said, listen, we're going through the litigation process. We're going to win. We're going to meet the dereliction of duty standard that Missouri has to meet.
Starting point is 00:15:16 She'll be gone by the end of the year, and it will send a message not only to Missouri, and it's going to send a message to any Woke DA. You can lose your job if you don't enforce the law. Okay. I want to remind everybody, I'm going to be on Justin News with John Solomon tonight on his show. this is kind of a Len Lee's thing here comes on the nose bin news i like the deal i get the better end of the deal yeah now last question joe biden hadn't said anything about this about the trump thing at all nothing right um and it's it that was smart for him not to inject himself into this either as merrick garland merrick garland said anything it's a state beef but this gives joe
Starting point is 00:15:56 Biden cover because the whole attention again of the media is focused on Trump now, not Biden's dereliction of duty, which we're, you know, we've been proving almost every day. And so this is a good thing for Biden, correct? It is, yeah, it is for short term until that boomerang that you talked about starts to speed up and all of a sudden his family and their members are asked to take the fifth or raise their hand in Congress because that's the ultimate poison bill. Let's put Hunter Biden and James Biden and every Biden who got a check from China on the witness stand and see what they say
Starting point is 00:16:29 and that's the moment where this the comfort level he may have for a few months he buys himself a little time but as soon as Republicans get to that point it's going to be very uncomfortable for Joe Biden and Haley Biden so Beau Biden's widow Bo Biden's widow
Starting point is 00:16:45 takes up with the brother Hunter and now the accusation is she received $35,000 from a Chinese concern. So they'll certainly call her. Now, she'll be a sympathetic figure, I think, but I could be wrong about that. But you know, you've got that three Bidens in there. You know, Joe Biden's brother, Joe Biden's son, and Joe Biden's former daughter-in-law. So what a mess. And there's a mystery bank account that James Comer uncovered last week. It's just called Biden.
Starting point is 00:17:19 They don't know whose money it is, but it gets a big chunk of that money. A lot of speculation where that might go. I keep an eye in that mystery bank account. My investigators are working real hard and that they seem to have some idea what it might be. All right, John. Thanks very much. We'll see you later on just the news. We really appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here to cover it from all sides, especially on the topics the mainstream media won't. So if you're a political junkie, on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home.
Starting point is 00:17:57 New episodes of the Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day. Make sure you tune in. You can find us at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. All right, let's go to Joe Biden's schedule today. He had one thing. He hosted a reception celebrating Women's History Month. So you'll remember that on Monday, he hosted the Ted Lasso sitcom crew. Yesterday, he hosted Bruce Springsteen and other performers, and today he's doing a reception
Starting point is 00:18:28 for Women's History Month. That's it. There's nothing else on his official schedule. Nothing. I just am, the word is flabagasted. I've never seen this. And I've been doing some heavy research on past presidents now. Woodrow Wilson was out of the box for two years because he had a stroke and nobody knew it and couldn't do anything and his wife took over the government and that was appalling but nobody knew it at the time so now we have a president whose official schedule had nothing on it you would think he would meet with his economic advisors and you know talk about the banks or have his state department crew in to talk about Putin and she or the military, the Pentagon, to talk about the drone that the Russians attack?
Starting point is 00:19:27 No. There's something really wrong here. And I'm saying that I don't know exactly what it is, but this is so abnormal. You know, I wrote a book called The United States of Trump, and when I was researching the book, and which I think the best book, if you really care, about how Donald Trump behaves, all right, it's in the book, why he does what he does. But anyway, while researching the United States of Trump, I got access to go into the West Wing of the White House, all right, physically go in and watch what happened.
Starting point is 00:20:09 It was a busy place, meeting after meeting after meeting after meeting. You know, and these meetings were on the president's daily schedule. And it was like, whoa, these guys are, and every time I was down there, that was the case. And now he'll take off, I guarantee you, he will take off for Delaware, probably Thursday night. So another four-day weekend, because he doesn't go back to Monday around midday. All right. And it's like, what are you doing? And I can't answer the question.
Starting point is 00:20:44 I wish I could. All right, let's go to Ron DeSantis, as promised. Yesterday, I said I was going to take out of Rhonda Santis today, so let's do it. And I'm trying to be as fair as possible, and if you think I am unfair in any of my commentary, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name and town, if you wish to appoint. Monmouth poll, first. Not a reliable poll, but it's the only one I got on this subject. 520 Republicans.
Starting point is 00:21:18 A question looking ahead. Who would you like to see the Republican nominee in 24? Trump, 41%. DeSantis 27, Nikki Haley, 3. Morning concert poll, console poll, another not very reliable. But this one is a big sample. All right, 3,394 potential Republican voters. Okay, Donald Trump 54.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Ron DeSantis, 26. Mike Pence, 7, Nikki Haley, 4. Okay, so Trump remains the leader by a lot, and he is gaining some sympathy in Republican circles because of all this Manhattan stuff. Now, Ron DeSantis has made two mistakes in recent weeks, right? Two. And maybe he made others, but these are the big ones. The first one was on Ukraine, all right?
Starting point is 00:22:14 where he said, quote, on March 13th, while the U.S. is many vital and national interest, securing our borders, addressing the crisis of readiness within our military, achieving energy security and independence and checking the economic culture and military power of the Chinese Communist Party, becoming further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia is not one of them. The Biden administration's virtual blank check funding of this conflict for as long as it takes without any defined objectives or accountability distracts from our country's most pressing
Starting point is 00:22:45 challenges." So I wrote a message of the day, it's posted on Bill O'Reilly.com, and I said, this is naive. That statement's naive. Putin is far more than a territorial dispute. He's trying to put together, back together, Humpty Dumpty, the fallen Soviet Union. And he's got Moldova, he's got his eyes on there, Belarus, states in the eastern part of Russia. and he's not going to stop, particularly if he wins and gets a big chunk of Ukraine. And then the Chinese are watching this because if Putin wins, they'll go into Taiwan.
Starting point is 00:23:20 So this is global here, Governor DeSantis, who undeniably did a good job in Florida, but so did Jeb Bush. Okay? It takes a lot more than governing a state to be the president. It takes a lot of vision. So that was one mistake. The second mistake was when he commented on the current controversy involving Donald Trump, rolling. So you're talking about this situation with, and look, I don't know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair. I just, I can't speak to that. But what I can speak to is that if you have a prosecutor who is ignoring, crimes happening every single day in his jurisdiction, and he chooses to go back many, many years ago to try to use something about porn star hush money payments, you know, that's an example of pursuing a
Starting point is 00:24:24 political agenda and weaponizing the office. And I think that that's fundamentally wrong. So the mistake there is the words porn star, okay? And Trump got angry about it. Because, yeah, DeSantis is saying it's a corrupt prosecution, clearly, but he's also disparaging Trump by bringing up the porn star stuff. Trump saw it as disrespectful and ungrateful because Trump did help DeSantis become governor the first time around. And then Trump, of course, does what Trump always does, you know, snipe back and said, well, your background and where do you see what happens to you? None of that helps. anybody in the Republican Party.
Starting point is 00:25:13 And Ron DeSantis has got to understand if he wants to be president, he needs the Maga Votas. He's going to need him if he gets a nomination. So he should go out of his way not to disparage Donald Trump, to float above any insults that may come his way, in my opinion. Okay. That's the DeSantis stuff. Again, he did an excellent job in Florida, but being president. It takes a lot more than that. Americans favored country in the world and least favorite country in the world.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Ready? This is Gallupol. Canada wins most favorable. We have an 88% favorable opinion of Canada. Americans do. Russia is the least favorable. With the exception of North Korea, we don't even put them in because we know what that is. So only 9% of Americans, 9% have a favorable opinion of Russia.
Starting point is 00:26:16 And, you know, some of them you can see on cable TV, but 90% of Americans are, no. Mexico, the most dangerous country right now, to the United States, even more dangerous than Putin and she. Okay, so Monday, the State Department is. issues a warning about what's going on in Mexico. They say that unlawful or arbitrary killings by police, military, and other government officials are happening in Mexico. That means the authorities are killing people, okay? Forced disappearance by government agents.
Starting point is 00:26:55 That means authorities are kidnapping people in Mexico. Harsh and life-threatening prison conditions. So if you go down to Mexico, you get in trouble. You're going to get the hell kicked out of you in a prison. you may not get any food. Okay. Arbitrary arrest or detention. They don't have to have charges. It could haul you in on anything they want. Restrictions on free expression and media, including violence against journalists. Okay, so can't get any reporting in Mexico because the cartels will kill you. If you report on them accurately. Serious acts of government
Starting point is 00:27:27 corruption, that means almost everybody's paid off down there. All right, now I've been telling you for years. If you're going there, okay. I'm not. For two reasons. Number one, they know me there. And number two, I can't give my money to that government. Obrador, the president, this is interesting. He says, quote, about the State Department's report, it isn't true. They're lying with all due respect. It's nothing but politicking. They don't want to change. They think they're the government of the world. This is the USA. It's not worth getting angry about. That's just the way they are. Okay. Well, I don't see anything the State Department has said that's untrue. It's all true in Mexico. But Overdor did
Starting point is 00:28:23 say, this is fascinating to me, that the hush money investigation, his term, regarding Trump, is bogus, is politically motivated. So he got, somehow he's got a decent relationship with Trump. Overdoor. California. So I love California, I've said many, many times. I think it's most beautiful state, I just can't, every time I go there, it's just geographically everything you ever want. Anyway, it's an insane place politically.
Starting point is 00:28:59 So now, California Public Safety Commission has approved a bill that would ban police dogs in California because they're racist. The police dogs are racist. So you can't use them in arrests or anything like that. The bill would ban the use of police dogs for arrest, apprehensions, crowd control due to racial bias and violence against black Americans and people of color. The dogs are racist in California. Sacramento also wants to ban some food, Skittles, hot tamale candy, double bubble gum, and others because those foods contain chemicals that are toxic and dangerous. This is AB418.
Starting point is 00:29:51 So they want to ban food, but we have that at the federal level. Now, I don't know what goes on there, the FDA. But if you live in California, the government, the state government wants to control everything you do. I mean, if I want to have a little double bubble gum, I can't in California. You don't tell me I can't do that? Yeah, that's what they're going to do, California. Miami Spring Break.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Now this is another insane thing. that have been two shootings so far in spring break in Miami. Both of them on Ocean Drive, which is the main drag. If you've been to South Beach, that's where all the cafes and clubs are, Ocean Drive. The reason is that people get drunk. So now Miami Beach says it's going to ban liquor sales after 6 p.m. Okay. But if you go to a club or a bar, you can still buy liquor. So does that make any sense to anybody? No, it doesn't. And the club, clubs and bars can stay open at 5 a.m. So the solution, or at least a little bit of the public safety strategy should be bars
Starting point is 00:31:09 have got to close at 1 a.m. Okay? That's it. 1 a.m. Now, you can get plenty drunk by 1 a.m. and go out and shoot somebody. I understand. But leaving bars open on 5 a.m.? Does that make any sense to you? No. So this is just, you know, don't go to South Beach for spring break. Okay? Don't. Good chance to get hurt. Smart Life.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I am not endorsing this product, but I'm bringing it to your attention. It's called Mint, M-I-N-T, Budget Tracker. Okay, it's an app. Now, it can keep track of all your financial stuff, of how much money you want to spend every week, every month, of your bank accounts, your credit card debt, of your credit card expenditures. It's one-stop shopping for all of your finances.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I ask my producers to check it out. They say it's legit. I couldn't find an app if I saved my life. But most of my people are internet savvy. They say it's legit. So you go there, okay, you download the app, all right, mint budget tracker on your phone. And then they'll tell you what to do. You create an account.
Starting point is 00:32:37 That's a smart life. You need to know how much money you're spending, what your goals are, they do it for you. Age, study by the Harvard Medical School and Hebrew Senior Life, combination study. All right. It says that by the time you are in your 60s that you're losing mental acuity. And they do all kinds of studies and this and that. By age 55, most people can't multitask the way they could when they were 35. Now all I can tell you is about me, all right?
Starting point is 00:33:20 So I'm over this age. I'm into my senior life. I can pretty much do everything I did, all right? I forget stuff because I'm distracted and I think my memory is a little less efficient than it was. So I'll admit that. But nobody can beat me in a debate. And I'll submit to you, I'm going to be on News Nation tonight on a Cuomo program.
Starting point is 00:33:55 I am on every Wednesday. I was on Monday because of the Trump stuff, too. And Cuomo is a lot younger than I am. Okay, you make the call. You're an old guy? Cuomo. Who wins? So I'm lucky, but I keep myself in shape.
Starting point is 00:34:11 I work at it. I read a lot. You know, I'm bloviating. I write a lot. I'm acting. But this study does not apply to me. This day in history. So I just finished, as I told you, of writing, Killing the Witches. And it'll be out September 26th. So researching killing the witches, we found out an amazing amount of stuff. The basic theme of the book is Demon Possession. Okay. But the Massachusetts Bay Colony, where the Mayflower people were, you put you on the Mayflower for the voyage over. It's horrifying. When they got here, they're crazy, religious, zealous fanatics. And you weren't allowed to do anything. So 392 years ago,
Starting point is 00:34:54 today, the Puritans band in Massachusetts Bay, cards, dice, and gambling tables, which was pretty much their only diversion. Because you couldn't dance. No dancing. I guess you could sing psalms to the Lord but no crooning and no gambling and nothing you couldn't do anything for fun that led to the witch trials because the kids particularly the young girls bored out of their skulls and you'll see what happened so the banning in Massachusetts of Bay Colony happened 392 years ago today. Okay, mail segment and final thought coming up. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Let's go to the mail message board, Colleen. Bill, it's my opinion that if this brag character actually indicts an arrest President Trump, he will have done irreparable damage to our judicial system will destroy any confidence in the system for a majority of American people. I don't disagree. I do not disagree. Lee, concierge, remember, Lee gets direct access to me. Please check out that program.
Starting point is 00:36:05 It will make you money. You become a concierge member to billowrilly.com. If President Trump is indicted for paying a non-disclosure agreement, then he will become a martyr. Okay, in some circles, that's true. Randall Brown, Collierville, Tennessee, curious what your thoughts are regarding President Trump calling for protests if he is arrested. but President Trump should always use the word peaceful. Always. Mary Hamlet, Fresno, California.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Bill, it's disturbing to me that my liberal friends want to see Trump taken away in handcuffs. They hate them. They hate them. Stephen Esposito, Boston Spa, New York, your guest, Brett Tallman. It's the reason why I'm a premium member. I learn more watching you, including your 10 minutes
Starting point is 00:37:00 Mr. Talman than I would ever watch, learn watching any stupid network. I like the stupid network thing. All right. Otto Fafoli in Chatham, Illinois. One of the best segments illuminating the Trump situation in an understandable format. O'Reilly. Thank you. I thought that was a very, very good segment.
Starting point is 00:37:24 You premium concierge members, if you missed Brett Talman's interview, please watch it. You get it anytime you want or get a transcript. Then you will understand exactly what is going to happen if Trump is arrested and indicted. Stephen, I don't live in New York, L.A. and Chicago, I live in a small city in Kentucky. We don't get much crime. We have churches, high school football games, family-oriented parade, schools that educate. Bill America is not doomed. The liberal cities are doomed. Not a bad point. It's a big difference between rural America and urban America.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Frank Rowe, concierge member, just joined up. I'm so fed up. with all the cable news. Good to listen to you again, Bill. I've become a concierge member. Frank, it will improve your life immediately and you will make money on your decision. Anthony Renzuli, New Jersey. Been a fan since I was a child, loved that it's been news. I decided to rent killing Jesus, the movie. I thought it was incredible. Holy Week coming up, killing the Jesus pay-per-view movie. It's like $3.80 or something. Really, really good for the whole family. So, just a tip.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Okay, I'm going to tell you about Team Normal in a final thought, so I don't want to do that. But we have a special, the United States of Trump, and killing crazy wars. Both books together, okay, 1295. Hardcover, okay? Excellent. You'll love both books, I think. Word of the day, do not be a Philistine, P-H-I-L-S-T-I-N-E, do not be a third. esteem. Back with a final thought on Team Normal in a moment. Okay, so final thought of the day is
Starting point is 00:39:07 our campaign, which is a fun campaign, but it has a message, obviously, about Team Normal. We got this from Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who delivered the Republican response to the State of the Union on February 7. Will it take? The dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy. So we took that and made Team Normal and Team Crazy. So Team Crazy is on MSNBC. That's where they are.
Starting point is 00:39:46 And they go other places too, but that's central headquarters. Team Normal is here. Okay? What does Team Normal mean? What does that mean? It means two things. Number one, that you love your country, stand up for your country, the theme I say every day. And you demonstrate that by believing essentially that this nation is noble.
Starting point is 00:40:13 We've made our mistakes. We're in a downslide now, no doubt about it, but we're a noble people. And you can prove that 50 different ways by the billions with the billions. of people that we've freed all over the world. Eastern Europe would not be free, and us, we did it. World War II. South Korea would be enslaved right now, wasn't for us, okay?
Starting point is 00:40:43 The Civil War. Okay, look how many hundreds of thousands of northerners gave their lives to free the slaves. That, you know, very rarely is that even, mentioned so appalling to me so we are a noble people not all of us about 15% those are the team crazy they want to destroy the nation they hate America but we are team normal here the second qualification to be team normal is that you seek the truth now I've told you a million times people believe what they want to believe I still get now almost every
Starting point is 00:41:27 day from people, and they're well-intentioned people, I don't get angry, saying that January 6th, the invasion of the Capitol was okay. It wasn't. Okay, I don't care how they rationalize, sightseers, or whatever they're saying, it's bull. You don't do that. Anywhere, you don't do that to a 7-Eleven, much less the capital of the United States. If there's no trespassing, there's no trespassing. So people believe what they want to believe. But on Team Normal, we seek the truth about everything, okay? Love of country, we are noble, and we seek the truth.
Starting point is 00:42:15 If you're in there, then you want the hat, you want the shirt, you want the mug, you want the bumper circle, because people will ask you, what's Team Normal? You walk outside with the gear, you're in a conversation. And it's not ideological. You can be a Democrat, a Republican, and an independent. You can be a Whig. Remember the Whig Party. You're bringing it back.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Team normal. I hope you'll check out to Bill O'Reilly.com store and gear on up. Thanks for watching and listening to the NOSBIN News. We'll see you tomorrow.
