Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here, welcome to the news for Tuesday, August 13, 2024, stand up for your country. So the best election coverage in the universe, not just the country, continues this evening. You are now watching and listening to it. pretty egotistical for me to say that right but what does best mean and then when i tell you what it means you're going to i think agree with me so when i say we have the best coverage this is why no deceit most important we will never deceive you no matter what happens not only in election coverage, but in our reporting on all stories. No propaganda zone. That's like the no spin zone, but propaganda is a little bit different. Propaganda is a well-thought-out campaign to deceive you.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Okay? And propaganda and deceit go hand in hand. We don't allow that, which is why you don't see campaign surrogates on this program very much. Once in a while, if there's a news value. But I don't put on mouthpieces, all right? Because it's ridiculous. Why waste your time? with that. No rooting. Now, I've made it very clear, I think Kamala Harris is a danger to traditional America. But other people see it differently. They don't want or like traditional America. They don't want to change everything. Now, I'm not rooting for one side of the other because if I do that, then I'm going to spend the coverage, and I just won't do it. All right? number four is we are always ahead of the story and I don't have to convince you
Starting point is 00:01:55 unless you just come on board that I was first on the Biden's not going to run again I pretty much 90% on my predictions are accurate because I don't base them on emotion I base them on facts so you add all that up no deceit no propaganda no rooting and we're ahead of the story presto you got the best coverage the talking points memo this evening is about how the Trump campaign is going after Vice President Harris. They're calling her now Kamala Kamilion. She is obviously moving from the far left, trying to get to the center a little bit, because the Democrats don't believe that Americans will elect a far left candidate. And we saw that obviously when she adopted Trump's no tax for tips. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:49 And her handlers are saying, look, all you got to do is get elected. Then we can go back to be in Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. But you got to get elected first. So here's how Harris is presenting herself. Go. We know our immigration system is broken, and we know what it takes to fix it. Comprehensive reform. that includes
Starting point is 00:03:20 strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship. That's so much nonsense I can't even believe that the woman is standing up there and saying it and people are, you know, these lemmings in the audience, okay.
Starting point is 00:03:37 So let's just break it down word by word. We know our immigration system is broken. Well, you've been in office three and a half years, lady. And you've denied it's been broken all that time. And now you know, suddenly, it's broken. Oh, yeah, now we know. And we know how to fix it.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Well, you made it worse. You haven't fixed anything down there. And it's because of your administration that we have this horror to begin with. It was under control in Trump's last year. These are facts. Okay. That includes strong border security, which you have lobbied against.
Starting point is 00:04:21 You, Kamala Harris, wouldn't even go to the border, wouldn't even talk to the border patrol. But now we want to be strong down there. And a pathway to citizenship. Now there, she's telling the truth. That's the only truthful thing she said. They want amnesty.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Believe me, if Kamala Harris is elected and the Democrats control of the House and Senate, all migrants, in this country, undocumented, except for those convicted of criminal offenses, will be American citizens. All of them. That's what they want. So, with this tough border stance, the Republicans are going to go, oh, Kamala Camillion based on the 1983 song by boy George. Go. man who doesn't know how it says there, a contradiction, you come and go. You come and go.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Come, come, come, come, come to me. You come and go. You come and go. Good tune. I sold a million and a half copies in Great Britain, number one there. I won a Grammy culture club and boy George in 1984, best new artists. Okay. Anyway, that's what this Kamala chameleon thing is all about in case you didn't know.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Now, the political equation of the Trump administration bringing out that Kamala Harris is changing her positions and actually stealing stuff from Trump, doesn't matter. You can state it, I would, but it's not going to matter. Because, again, this is an anti-Trump vote. Maybe 15% of people are voting for Kamala Harris. The other 85% that will vote Democrat voting against Trump. Same thing. I don't think the numbers are going to be as big. I don't think Kamala Harris is going to get close to 81 million popular votes.
Starting point is 00:06:43 but it's again the same thing on Trump. Yes or no, on him. Harris is just there. Now, if Trump accepts my analysis, and I don't know if he does or not, the way to attack the anti-Trump thing is to inject some charm into your campaign, which the former president has not done. right after he was shot and at the first 20 minutes of the Republican Convention speech, he did, but then it vanished. Now, I've been with Trump enough over the 32-year period of our friendship or acquaintanceship, whichever you want to define it, okay? The guy's funny. The guy can be very charming. He knows how to do that. It's not like Jimmy Carter, where Jimmy Carter was all front, big smile.
Starting point is 00:07:40 and all that, but boy, he was not comfortable with people. Trump came, walk into a room, I've seen him do it 100 times. He's got to take a little bit of that and use it on a campaign trail if he wants to tamp down that hate Trump vote. All right, let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I
Starting point is 00:08:18 trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty free. Please call 866-326-55-7576 or text bill to 99-88-99.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Again, that's 866-3-2-6-5576 or text bill to 998899. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post, wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast, listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Finally, on the talking points tonight, the polls don't matter now at all. They will matter September 15th. You know, we always recommend that you have a pen and paper watching or listening to the NOSPA news.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Because that'll be five days after the debate, and people will digest what they saw in the debate, and then the polls will start to matter. From September 15th to Election Day, I'll report on the polls that I believe are honest. But now, they don't matter at all. So if you're experiencing angst about polling, that's self-destructive. Okay? It doesn't matter. And finally, it could go either way.
Starting point is 00:10:21 You know, we had the poll question on bill O'Reilly.com, and the majority of people said, yeah, Kamala Harris can win. And she can. Trump should win. He's got it all over her on the issues. but she could win. And that's a memo. All right, Calma Harris didn't do anything today that we know of publicly.
Starting point is 00:10:43 Donald Trump, same thing. All right. I don't know whether they're relaxing planning. I don't know what they're doing. Last night, Donald Trump went on X with its owner, Elon Musk. Roll it. Our country is becoming a very dangerous place. And she is a radical left, San Francisco liberal.
Starting point is 00:11:03 and now she's trying to protect, now she's looking like she wants to be more Trump than Trump, if that's possible. I don't think it's possible, but she wants to be more Trump than Trump. No, I don't think so. Country becoming a more dangerous place, yes. Economically and the collapse of social order. Absolutely, that's true. Okay, she's radicalist, San Francisco liberal. True, it's two, all right.
Starting point is 00:11:31 She's trying to project now that she wants to be more Trump than Trump. No. Okay, so nothing else new on that X thing. Big audience. Big audience. Trump was smart to do it. Elon Musk is now a supporter of his. Now, before that interview aired, the EU.
Starting point is 00:11:51 I don't like the EU. I got to tell you. I mean, I understand the economic and, you know, combination. I got it, but I have no use for them. So they threatened Elon Musk. The EU threatened them. A guy named Theory Breton, Frenchman, Commissioner for Internal Market of the European Union, writes a letter to Musk, saying this, quote,
Starting point is 00:12:15 Therefore, we are monitoring the potential risks in the EU associated with the dissemination of content that may incite violence, hate and racism in conjunction with major political or societal events around a world, including debates and interviews in the context of elections, unquote. Well, that could be anything. So then theory goes on to say that if the EU thinks that Trump said anything insightful, they're going to take sanctions against Musk, the threat letter. This is really insulting. Elon Musk is running a company, all right?
Starting point is 00:12:58 That company is a practiser of free speech. I don't care what Theory Breton thinks about anything. Why would I? I live in Brussels. He's a snob. Why would I care about it? But to threaten an American citizen because you don't like or you think something's insightful?
Starting point is 00:13:20 Now, this is all about the stabbing in Great Britain. And Great Britain's not even a member of the EU. You remember they pulled out because of the unlimited migration. So English people said, no, we don't want that. And we're out. But this African stabbed these little girls in Northern Ireland, in Northern England, and now the far right. And if you think America's got far right, you ought to see these people in Great Britain, talk about far right. They're out there in fomenting violent demonstrations.
Starting point is 00:14:01 That's what this is all about, because the EU is very worried about this. It's happening in Germany. It's happening in other countries. Where the far right is using the migrant chaos, which is everywhere, by the way, even Sweden. passed very strict laws against migrants coming into that country, even Sweden. Okay? That's what this is all about. So the EU would warning Musk, you better not say anything about these illegal aliens,
Starting point is 00:14:32 or we're going to knock you off the air. We, Bill O'Reilly.com, can't get our outfit, our organization on in a lot of these EU countries because they don't believe in free speech. So Americans run over there to Europe Oh, we're going to Europe for the summer We're going here, we're going there Just know where you're going there Not America
Starting point is 00:14:56 They don't value free speech over there Now I'm blanketing the whole continent Some countries are way much Way better than other countries About that Okay, Time Magazine So remember Time Magazine if you're Above 40 years old
Starting point is 00:15:14 Was the dominant news magazine in America at one time circulation above 4 million okay and it was a weekly I had a subscription to it it was good they did a good job okay now the circulation is out of 1.3 million and they only publish twice monthly not weekly and most of that at 1.3 is online you cannot buy Time magazine on a newsstand you got to subscribe to it all right so in addition to that is that owned by Time Warner anymore. It's owned by Salesforce, Inc.
Starting point is 00:15:51 This is unbelievable. Salesforce Inc. is an American cloud-based software company based in San Francisco. They know nothing about journalism. Nothing. Okay. So they put
Starting point is 00:16:06 Kamala Harris on the cover of the latest Time magazine. It's a little bit like Joan of Arc, right? And they write a puff piece article about her. Now, she insulted Time Magazine because they asked her for an interview, and she said, I'm not going to give you an interview. They get a puff piece anyway.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Quote, suddenly, she seems matched to the moment. A former prosecutor rang against a convicted felon. A defender of abortion rights rang as a man who helped overturn Roe v. Wade. a next generation Democrat running against a 78-year-old Republican. Perhaps above all, she has given Americans one thing the overwhelmingly told
Starting point is 00:16:52 pollsters they wanted a credible alternative to two unpopular old men who've held the job of the past eight long years, unquote. That sounds like a real objective assessment, right? It's it. The woman who wrote it,
Starting point is 00:17:10 and this is another great story, is named Charlotte Alter. Hey, Charlotte. Okay. Who is she? She's the daughter of the notorious Jonathan Alter. Remember that name? This is a far-left loon who worked for Newsweek magazine, who embraces every single liberal tenant there is with no dissent, ever. Charlotte is his daughter. And she's writing a piece on Kamala Harris. You know, you would get more honest coverage from Mad Magazine than Time Magazine. Nobody knows any of this. They don't know who's running Time Magazine. They don't know who Charlotte Alter is. It's just propaganda after propaganda after propaganda.
Starting point is 00:18:06 All right. Next Monday, the DNC Convention opens in Chicago. All right. And it's at McCormick Place Convention Center on the west side of the city. And Monday, Joe Biden will speak.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Why on Monday? Because they want him God. So the first night, Joe's going to talk about his legacy, which maybe that's 10 minutes. If he can read the prompter, I don't know. he's out. And then they go in. Now, they have not, very unusual, have not released the DNC
Starting point is 00:18:41 a schedule of speakers for the week. We know Kamala Harris will be Thursday night, the keynote. But we don't know. The only guy we know is Jason Carter, who's Jimmy Carter's grandson. He's going to talk about his father's legacy. Here's the problem. Tens of thousands of very obnoxious protesters, some of them violent, are going to be at the DNC, according to the Wall Street Journal. That's not my estimate. Okay, in journals, pretty good, pretty accurate. Tens of thousands. This is what happened in 1968 with the anti-war movement in Chicago at the DNC convention.
Starting point is 00:19:30 And now all hell broke loose. remember the Chicago 7, tear gas, the military, all of that. This is going to be a big story, I think, because these people aren't going to Chicago to protest peacefully. They're not. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before.
Starting point is 00:20:01 And we're here to cover it from all size, especially on the topics the mainstream media won't. So if you're a political junkie on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home, new episodes of the Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day. Make sure you tune in. You can find us at Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce 1. Every week, I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful
Starting point is 00:20:38 disruptors, lawmakers, lawmakers, and even the president of the United States. These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce 1 with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. Joining us now from Irvine, California, Heather McDonald, from the Manhattan Institute, who recently wrote a piece about Chicago. And I don't think, Heather, the police there in any way, shape, or form are capable of handling these kinds of demonstrations. Am I wrong? Well, you're absolutely right, Bill. It's not that they're not capable, but they won't be allowed to handle them, because now cops are operating under a very, very different
Starting point is 00:21:31 environment than in the 60s. They, the 60s won, the forces of law and order lost. And now cops are worried all the time about being caught on video camera using force. It can be lawful force, but the public
Starting point is 00:21:47 thinks any time a police officer uses force, it must be unlawful and most often racist, even if it's a white journalist that's being restrained or a white rioter. So we'll see. I mean, frankly, I'm going to be very honest.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I am hoping that the pro-Hamas hysterics are feeling particularly disruptive. And if the public and a particular Democratic Jews didn't really understand what the world looks like today throughout the year we've had of pro-Hamas hysteria on college campuses, if Democratic Jews don't understand that their intersectional allies hate them, whether it's blacks or Muslims or queers, that they all are for dismembering Israel, maybe a big conflagration at the DNC will finally drive that point home. See, I disagree with you. I don't want any violence there, and I don't want any chaos there. A peaceful demonstration would be okay with me, but I don't want anybody getting hurt,
Starting point is 00:22:52 and the cops are going to get hurt. So the Chicago cops, and they're under manned by about 20, 25 percent now, they're going to get hurt. These people will hurt them, these protesters. And you're absolutely right. The rules of engagement are that they can't stop violent protests. They can't. By law, by Chicago law, they can't even chase them. So if a protester came up to you and threw a brick in your face, and the cops will have shields, but you can get hurt, you can't chase that person and arrest them in Chicago. because this is a progressive city and state. Now, it'll be interesting to see if the far-left governor, Pritzker,
Starting point is 00:23:34 who Kamala was actually even considering as VP, will call out the National Guard because everybody on earth knows a Chicago PD is not going to be able to control these people. Do you think he will? He might, because these will not be officially race riots, You know, what we saw in Minneapolis with the George Floyd race riots is that Governor Tim Walsh fatally hesitated after the mayor, Jacob Fry, had asked him to call out the National Guard. And Governor Walsh, by his own admission, was grappling with the issue that, well, how do we restore order with the very forces of order that oppressed black people so much and are leading to this rioting?
Starting point is 00:24:22 It was all a bunch of gobbly gook. The guy waited for two and a half days before he got that situation under control. People died $500 million in damages just in Minneapolis. I mean, it was insane. But here's the problem for Kamala Harris. Let's make it personal. So she's coming into Chicago. And by the time she gets there, because she won't be there.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Like Trump stayed the whole week, she's not going to do that. we'll know the violent level of this situation. That'll be clearly established in the eyes of the world. So Harris is going to have to come in. If she condemns that, she's condemning the progressive wing of her party because they're behind all this stuff. All right?
Starting point is 00:25:07 If she says nothing, she looks very, very weak. So that's a big dilemma for her. Well, I think she'll probably, I think she would condemn it. I mean, she did cave in to the progressive wing by not choosing Josh Shapiro because he was both pro-Israel and Jewish. That he was clearly the preferable pick
Starting point is 00:25:29 would have done much better on the electoral map than Wals and is much more moderate. But I don't think she would hesitate to condemn violence. I'm not sure. But here's the tell on it. So Biden can order the National Guard in there anytime he wants. He doesn't have a way for Pritzker. They can just send him on in. Okay. And then of course Harris is going to be tied into what Biden does. So the guard goes in there and the guard is going
Starting point is 00:25:58 that's going to be trouble. That's going to be echoes of 1968. So there is a potential to throw this whole convention into unbelievable chaos. And there's one more factor. These jihadist, terrorists overseas know this. And that's why this provocation stuff is swirling around. It might be, and I hate to speculate, and I'm not speculating, I'm just raising the possibility. Boom, boom, there'll be something overseas that happens in conjunction with the Democratic Convention in Chicago. Yeah, I don't think that's completely insane. You know, the The thing is, these American protesters are total idiots. If they were smart, they would not be violent.
Starting point is 00:26:50 They would be respectful. They would protest, you know, in a completely inoffensive manner. But they're nihilists. But they're not anarchists. They're using the Hamas thing. They want to tear it all down. That's what they want. These people don't care about the Palestinians.
Starting point is 00:27:07 They don't even know what it is. They just want to break it. Okay. And people would say, well, why didn't you do that at the Republican convention, because Republicans are to the progressive left, we're out so much more evil than Democrats are so sympathetic to you. Why are you doing it to us? And that's, I don't really have an answer to that question. That's interesting. I mean, I agree with you. I would be a little more precise. It's not just they want to tear anything down. They want to tear down
Starting point is 00:27:38 Western civilization because they see it as too white and too male. But I guess they feel like maybe it's right now you have the Democrats in power. And so if you want to change America's policy on the Middle East, which is already, as far as I'm concerned, Biden has been far too accommodating towards the Hamas terrorists. You would go after them, not the Republicans. I don't know if there's a lot of logic in these precincts. They just want to cause trouble and hurt people. And I think they will next week. We always appreciate talking to you, Heather, enjoy it out there in California and we'll talk to you soon I hope okay so what else we got tonight for you Bobby Kennedy Jr. now I told you from the very
Starting point is 00:28:27 beginning that this was going nowhere I was gonna use a sound bite but I'm tired of being right I'm exhausted from being correct all the time so I'm writing a sound bite but you know I told you this was never gonna work now we've never had them on Nino Spino's been news we gave him enough opportunity, and he said yes, and he backed out. I don't care. That was before he threw the bear in Central Park, or I don't know what he's doing. I always said, and we'll continue to say, that man did a tremendous job cleaning up the Hudson River in New York and running an organization called River Keepers, tremendous job. But other than that, he's so far out there, you don't,
Starting point is 00:29:08 you have no idea how far out there he is. And I knew his campaign was going to get nowhere. So now, Now, the courts in New York say, you can't be on a ballot because you lied about your residents. You don't live here. You live in L.A. with your actress wife. You don't live here, so you're not being on the ballot. And he can't be on a ballot in California because his VP selection is from Silicon Valley and you can't have two candidates from the same state. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:36 So he's done. He's all. Now, he'll be on the ballot, I don't know, maybe 20, 25 states. he'll get 2% of the vote, equal taken from, it's not a factor any longer. So, RFK Jr., give it a shot, didn't run his campaign well. My opinion, of course, has done good things in his life and dubious things. Ukraine, okay, there's a subset of viewers to the NoSpin News and premium concierge members to Bill O'Reilly. who I don't want any part of Ukraine.
Starting point is 00:30:16 They don't think we should be there. They don't think anything like that. I respect that. I feel differently, and I've made a pretty strong case. So now we hear that the Ukrainian army has conquered, occupied, whatever word you want, about 400 miles of Russia itself, Russian territory. So the infantry of Ukraine kind of march across the border, Okay, here we are. And according to them, and you've got to take all of this skeptically,
Starting point is 00:30:48 the Russian army broke and ran away. Possible, because they're not, the conscripts are taken out of prisons in Russia. I mean, they're not top of the line troops. So now Ukrainian soldiers are occupying a part of Russia. That's a fact. How much? We don't know. So this is another embarrassment for Putin, who's already lost, killed and wounded, about a half million in this insane invasion that gets him nowhere, okay? Nowhere. And so I believe Putin is now wants out. If Trump gets elected in November, there will be a deal, I say, within two weeks, ceasefire. And then negotiation, you know what the game is. That's what I believe will happen. If Trump loses, it's going to be more complicated.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Okay? Putin wants Trump to win because they have some kind of, I don't know what they have. You know, my conversation is private with President Trump. I've asked him a number of times, what it was with the Putin? He won't tell me. Some there, but I don't know what it is. I don't get it. Anyway, so Putin, another embarrassment.
Starting point is 00:32:09 And there you go. smart life so we're looking out for you and uh here's here's the pen right here you got to get the pen and paper now all right because i'm going to give you a good tip it's going to save you some money so one of the keys for your economic life is what you buy obviously right you have money and you have freedom to buy what you want in other countries you you don't have that freedom. But here we do. Now, the most important thing that you buy for yourself and your family is food, because you have to have food. And food prices have rocketed under Biden. We all know that. Now, Kamala will blame Trump for that, but that's insane
Starting point is 00:33:00 and a lie. Okay. So we have investigated how to cut down you spending money on food, clothing, other things that you have to have. And we went to a one-pole report. So 71% of shoppers are now searching for bargains more than ever before. 71%. And they spend an hour a week online looking for coupons and comparing prices. But we're going to cut through that for you. There are two websites.
Starting point is 00:33:40 that you should go to that will help you be a savvy shopper. First one is Rakuten, R-Kooten, R-K-U-T-E-N. R-S-N-R- as in Robert, A-K-U-T-E-N. Okay? So they help you find coupons for what you need, what you want, and they compare prices in the various stores. So Walmart, to K-mart, to Home Depot, wherever it may be. Okay, and the other one is honey, like the bee thing, honey.
Starting point is 00:34:16 And they do pretty much the same thing. Now, Sierra News is a source of this information. And we believe it's good information. So, smart life. You want to save money, significant money. You've got to do research now. You just can't walk into the grocery store or the clothing store or the sneaker store or any of that. You can't.
Starting point is 00:34:42 You've got to search because a lot of these purchases are made online. You can buy all your food online. Was it P-Pod and this kind of stuff? You can buy everything you want. They're delivered to your house. Don't even have to go to the store anymore. But you need to know what a fair price is. So, once again, Rakuten and Honey.
