Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the No Spin News for Monday, September 9th, 2019. Now, I have a new slogan for you. Remember, we used to take your country back, but I'm upgrading this to fight for your freedom. Now, I've got a brand new column. It's called the con, C-O-N, the con. And it's about Elizabeth Warren, how dangerous she is. So that's posted it. I hope you read it. That is our launch pad for Fight for Your Freedom. and then we'll discuss pretty much specifics throughout the week. Now, our lead story tonight is President Trump making a number of bad decisions. So we saw the Alabama thing. Now, when the storm hit the Bahamas on September 1st Sunday,
Starting point is 00:00:50 the president tweeted out, in addition to Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama were mostly be hit harder than expected looking like one of the biggest hurricanes ever almost category five be careful god bless everyone so the press objected to Alabama being put in there and then instead of just letting it go because it doesn't mean anything to anybody sort of doesn't mean anything to the United States of America the president started to argue with the press why so what and then the president brings out a map he's got a marker come on it doesn't matter it's Stupid. And I don't understand why Donald Trump, who's a supremely intelligent individual,
Starting point is 00:01:33 and you'll learn that if you read my book out in two weeks, the United States of Trump. He's a very intelligent man. Why doesn't graphs, well, what are you fighting with these morons for over whether Alabama's in the path of the storm or not? It's a 10-minute story unless you and the president elevated it, which you did. and you gave them 48 hours of hysteria. I didn't watch it, and you probably didn't watch it either, but this is the United States. It needs to be run.
Starting point is 00:02:06 This is just stupid. Second thing, we have the Taliban meeting. Now, it should be clear to everybody that President Trump is going to meet with anybody he can meet with in order to get deals that he deems beneficial to the country. what the North Korea thing is all about. So if he can meet with the Taliban, whether it's in Camp David, Maryland or someplace else, you're going to meet with him. Now, the Taliban are obviously terrorists, and you can make an argument you don't meet with terrorists. You don't elevate them. But for me, things are going on for 18 years in Afghanistan. I was there in 2007.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Now, do I believe the Taliban is going to keep their word about anything? No, I don't. Would I meet with him, to try to get some kind of deal? Yeah, I would. I'd meet with him. And I understand the downside to it. It's almost frightening in its dishonesty that the very people who object to all military action, the far left now criticizes President Trump for meeting with the Taliban and try to get a peace deal. Okay. And the third one, come on, with this. John Legend and his and his wife. I mean, really, you know, really. The President of the United States should not be engaging individuals like that on anything, on anything, all right? They live in a totally crazy world that has no something.
Starting point is 00:03:53 of reality to it. Let them, door them, ignore them. Camilla Harris, now, she's desperate. We'll be right back after this spot. You have been hearing about gold all over the news. Prices keep going up. Experts are warning. A recession is here. It's time to prepare. Starting point is 00:04:46 She's on a campaign trail, all right, in New Hampshire a couple of days ago. and some guy approaches her with a question, roll of tape. What are you going to do in the next one year to diminish the mentally retarded action of this guy? Well said. Well said. Well, I plan to win this election, I'll tell you that. It's an incredibly offensive term. and as someone who has a long-standing relationship of advocacy for our disability community.
Starting point is 00:05:30 In fact, I have a whole proposal, policy proposal on it that I've been working on for quite some time that we rolled out weeks ago. It's offensive, and you would think that in the year 2019, people would have a much better understanding of how hurtful a term like that can be, but also, the history behind it, which is a history of really ignoring the needs and the realities and the capacity of our disability community. What a bunch of bull. Well said. Well said. That's what Camilla Harris told the guy when he said mentally retarded. And then all of a sudden she goes in, and I wanted to play the whole thing, as boring as it was, to show you she's just not a truthful person.
Starting point is 00:06:15 And he said, oh, I didn't really hear it. Oh, you heard. in about eight feet away from you. You had to hear it. Well said. Well said. And then when she gets called on mentally retarded, those words, oh, you know, I mean, really, do we really want that kind of a person, have power in this country? Really? Geez. All right, we got a bunch of tough to tell you about. So in Boston, I'm going to be doing a show called Understanding Trump. It's Saturday, October 26, 1230 p.m. It's an early show. Starting point is 00:09:20 A pot is, you know, being legalized and many, look, you go out to Rocky Mountain High University of Colorado and Boulder. I mean, it's ridiculous. I mean, I want it's legal there. Washington State. So these kids are going to get stoned and, And that's what kids do in college. They get drunk and they get stoned. It's easy to get stoned and easier. I don't think there's a campus in the country that's going to sanction anybody who smokes pot even in states that don't legalize it. I will see you guys tomorrow.
