Starting point is 00:00:00 Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the latest edition of Looking Out for you. Let's get started. I think I'm going to make a fool of myself in the next few minutes because I have to get into analyzing a political party. And I don't like to do that because I don't like either political party that much. I'm a registered independent. And the reason I am is because I'm not a party apparatchnik. I'm a problem solver.
Starting point is 00:00:38 And I want vexing problems like drug addiction and high taxes and terrible food and ridiculous foreign policy on and on. I want them to be solved. And neither party is real interested in that. For example, we should have had a what they call comprehendage immigration reform decades ago. But they didn't want to do it. We should have had Social Security realigned decades ago because the government knew was going to run out of money.
Starting point is 00:01:19 But they pinheads on Capitol Hill and they're afraid. They're afraid. So I don't like to tout any political party. Right now, Donald Trump is the most controversial president by far in U.S. history. There's nobody even close. Teddy Roosevelt probably be second, but he's way back. And when he got out of there, the country loved him. I don't know whether that's going to be the case in three and a half a year with Donald Trump or not.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Could be, possible. But anyway, his opposition, Trump's opposition, hates him generally, just hates everything he does. And you would think that there would be then an alternative put forth, but there's never an alternative put forth by the Democratic Party. The best they could do was Joe Biden, who's the second worst president in the U.S. history. And if you're confronting the presidents, we'll see why. It's fact-based. And just picture this. Just picture Kamala Harris, if she were elected. You think she could sit across from Putin and negotiate anything?
Starting point is 00:02:31 Come on. It's ridiculous. Putin wouldn't even return Biden's calls. So I find myself diminishing the Democratic Party a lot. Because I feel it's so far progressive level. that it damages the country. Whereas the Republican Party pretty much stays where it is. Traditional, don't want to do a lot, way too cautious.
Starting point is 00:03:01 But I'd rather have that than these nuts on the left, these loons. Now, I'm going to run you five sound bites here. Okay, and this is all from the left, and then we'll talk about each one. The first is from Congresswoman Jayapal, Washington State. 2025, June 9th. Roll it. I have one word for you today. Enough, enough of these mass ice raids
Starting point is 00:03:30 that are sweeping up innocent people of every legal status, tearing apart families and our communities. We all know that the immigration system is broken and that the American people want a fair, humane system that actually allows people to be able to work. Now, if you trace back Ms. Jaya Powell's political utterings, she didn't object to the open border at all. Not one time.
Starting point is 00:04:05 She let me come on, everybody come. Everybody in the world just come on in. That was her point of view. And now she's bitching that ICE is too tough. It's up to her. It wouldn't meet any borders. Doesn't want them. A lot of people in Democratic Party exactly like that.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Okay, sound by number two. Eric Swalwell, all right? This is insane. Go. I don't know if Donald Trump is or is not a Russian asset. I do know that at press conferences like this and like at Helsinki, he certainly acts like one. And that is cold comfort for anyone in the United States, particularly in our military, that the commander in chief would be so flattering of and so charming to a ruthless dictator like Vladimir Putin.
Starting point is 00:04:57 So Swallow's trying to tell you that Donald Trump's a quizzling. Look at the word quizzling. It comes from Norway, okay? I'm trying to tell you that Trump is putting Russia's interests ahead of the USA. I mean, it's just you look at the guy. And this is what he puts out there. It's what the Democratic Party puts out there. You don't hear any Democrats going on, that's probably not true.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Third soundbite, the most powerful Democrat in the country, Senator Charles Schumer. Last Friday, Doge forcefully gained access to the Treasury Department's payment systems and to the most sensitive information of virtually every U.S. citizen. Donald Trump basically handed Doge the Social Security data of virtually every American citizen. Donald Trump, he gave, Donald Trump gave Doge access to America's personal tax refund data. Well, I don't know one American who has been contacted by Doge
Starting point is 00:06:05 who has any kind of in writing and nothing. I haven't. Have you? Do you hear from Doge? They call you up about your Social Security or your taxes? No. Okay. So no idea what he's talking about. What I do know is that we have a $37 trillion debt. The United States is carrying a $37 trillion debt. And Schumer does not want any cuts in spending at all unless they're in defense. Okay? None. No entitlement cutbacks. No reform in Medicare, Medicaid, nothing. Spend, spend, spend, spend, spend. And remember, Biden was the biggest spending President of American history, by far. Schumer is fine with it. Just keep spending and spending and spending.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Well, that means that United States will go bankrupt, as a matter when, not if. Because if we get to a point, we're not going to be able to meet your interest obligations on U.S. savings bonds, on U.S. Treasuries. These are what we sell in the worldwide market to get money to operate here. Truman don't want to cut back anything, nothing. And this is a party that's supposed to be respected, the Democratic Party? All right, that is self-destructive, which is what I think Democratic Party's slogan should be. We're Democrats and we're self-destructive. And here comes the communist Bernie Sanders.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Go. We have a racist society from top to bottom impacting health care, housing, criminal, housing, criminal, justice, education, you name it. And clearly this is an issue that must be dealt with. But in terms of criminal justice, what we have got to do is understand the system is broken is racist. Yeah, so criminal justice is racist so that we don't now, Bernie Sanders, prosecute crimes anymore.
Starting point is 00:08:08 We let the minority community, mostly, just steal as much as they want, beat you up, you know, cities are devastated. That's a fact. And we can't arrest and prosecute these people because the system's racist. Because, you know, if you arrest a black or Hispanic or any minority at all, it's not fair. No.
Starting point is 00:08:35 So you let them go. You let them steal as much as they want to steal. And you don't punish him. Well, it gets punished. society. Innocent people get hurt. Businesses go down. Cities get wrecked. And there's burning as a racist. This is a party that you support? No prosecution of criminals? That's what you support? Come on. Finally, Congressman Mike Quigley Trans thing. Go.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Trans kids deserve to play sports just like their peers, and Congress can't borrow them from the field. All young people should be able to benefit from team sports, building character, developing friendships, and improving their mental health. Organizations like the NCAA International Olympic Committee and State Athletica boards have included trans athletes for years. Instead of following their lead, my colleagues want to codify hate and discrimination against all trans kids in all sports. All right. So the Democratic Party, the entire party says you're a guy, biologically stronger than a woman, you want to be a girl. You have that right in the United States. So you take your little hormones, you do what you do. Okay? Democratic Party wants to pay for all that, by the way, but that's not there yet, but they want it to. Then you get on the athletic field under the woman banner, even though you're not a woman,
Starting point is 00:10:17 and you compete in lacrosse, okay, in soccer, flag football, swimming with women who are not as strong as you, physically. Fine. That's good. Let's do that. Come on. Come on. This is insane.
Starting point is 00:10:48 So that's why the Democratic Party, no matter how bad you think Donald Trump is, or how inefficient, whatever, where do you go? At least Trump's trying to do stuff. Did President Biden try to stop the war in Ukraine? No. Did he take any action? after Hamas slaughtered Jews on October 7th? No. Did he cut spending?
Starting point is 00:11:17 No. Did he protect the borders of the United States? No. On and on and on. This is your party? This is what you want? So it comes a point in history where an extreme situation like this
Starting point is 00:11:40 leads to a Donald Trump. That's exactly what happened. And how can you criticize Trump when you got nothing? Because you haven't deviated from those insane policies one bit. So I'm reading this book, The Gods of New York,
Starting point is 00:12:05 okay? is by a guy journalist Jonathan Mallor. I write for, I think, New York Magazine or one of the liberal journals. But he's a good reporter. A little tilt left, but that's fine. I mean, you can tell the difference between his commentary and his reportage. So the guys in New York are all political book. All right, but it starts 25 years ago, maybe 30 years ago.
Starting point is 00:12:32 So those of us have been around, we know what's going on. And the reason I'm reading the book is because a man donning. I mean, I want to know what happened in the New York City mayor's office on the streets with the police and other big events to put this man in the proper context of New York history. So the gods of New York, if you're interested, this is a good book for you to check out. It just came out. And now, what have I learned? A lot on Koch and how tortured a man he was. I didn't really, I knew he was a flamboyant guy and edgy, but he was tortured.
Starting point is 00:13:21 And not as much on Giuliani as I thought it'd be. Giuliani was largely successful running New York City. I don't think the left wants to acknowledge that. But anyway, the mosaic is helping me. Even though New York City today, in 2025, a lot different than just 25 years ago, the year 2000, right before 9-11, way different. And that is causing a lot of upheaval. So many poor people have moved into New York City.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Some of them are here legally. many of them are not, but they're poor. And the cost of living in New York City, even in the Bronx and Brooklyn and some of the rundown areas, is high. And these people can't make it. They're on skills. They're not educated. They really can't make money for anyone. The key to having a prosperous economic life for all Americans is one key. you have to make somebody else money that's what you have to do even if you're a waiter an uber driver you have to be good enough and responsible enough at what you do that you're making who's paying your check a profit that's it if you're a pain in the neck if you can't
Starting point is 00:14:54 speak english if you can't do the basic tasks like how many times have you ordered food from a restaurant because I'm speaking for myself now and somebody answers the phone they're not being paid a lot of money you know that they cannot take your order you have to say it four or five times it just can't absorb it and sometimes I'll just go look you know I'll I don't get angry it's foolish I'll say I'll call back or something like that but I mean I my limit is three If you don't get the order by three, and I mean it's in person, too, then I'm gone. Because that sends a message to me in a place out of control. But what I'm trying to tell you is that even in the lower earning jobs, you got to perform.
Starting point is 00:15:47 My first job is Carvel, Old Country Road, Westbury. 17 years old, in high school, I want to make a little extra coin. okay I go in a Carvel and I got to be able to make the Sundays and the milkshakes and I got to be able to know what to do and I got to be able to do math when I take the money and make the change and I did it. I was good. I was a good employer, employee. And a guy who hired me, you know, I was making a buck 30 an hour, which was minimum wage back then. And you know, he gave me a raise like 15 cents an hour, but I was happy. They knew that was an acknowledgment.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Anyway, the city has changed, and that's why a guy like Mandani could be mayor. So many poor people, and they say, I can't make it, so you've got to give me stuff. You have to give me free rides on the subway and bike. You have to give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me. And I go, sure, sure, I'm going to do that. that's it that's what he's got is he going to do it no will he bring up the poverty level no but these people they just say okay well we'll vote for him interesting story on long island and new york city about criminal migrants so 40 MS-13 gang members uh that's
Starting point is 00:17:24 the El Salvadoran gang, violent gang, that have been terrorizing Long Island, have been arrested, okay? And in Nassau County, Pete, a very good organization, by the way, hauled them all in, attempted murder, weapons, drug charges, you name it. Swept them off the street.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Okay? And they got them in parks and all over the place. Stead's a big gang place for them, ice slip out in Suffolk, they're around. So this is a very good thing. 40 gang members incarcerated. And what will happen is they'll be charged, but the ICE will be informed and it'll be deported. The feds will take them.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Now, violent crime caused by migrants in New York City and on Long Island is a very serious situation, much more serious than you think. because the press plays it down. Newsday plays it down. Local news, I don't know what they're doing these days. New York Post is on it. They're aggressive on reporting it. But the stats are just stunning. So in New York City, they had 3,219 migrants arrested.
Starting point is 00:18:54 total of 5,000 times that are re-arrested and re-arrested and re-arrested. And they do everything. They sell dope, they muggings, shoplifting, you name it. And if you compare that to the amount of migrants who don't commit crimes, obviously, most people are not committing crimes that come into the country illegally other than the crime of illegal entry. But that doesn't diminish the danger. I mean, when you've got 5,000 crimes committed by 3,200 migrants, come on. Now, in Nassau, they cooperate 100% the local authorities with ICE, not in Suffolk County because there's a judge involved with that and they have all kinds of rules and regulate. It's a lot easier for the migrant criminals to operate in Suffolk than
Starting point is 00:19:53 is in NASA. And of course, as we all know, New York City doesn't cooperate with ICE much at all. Despite Mayor Adams saying he's going to, they don't. They don't. So if you are a gang member from El Salvador, Venezuela, or wherever, you can hide in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Nobody's going to find you. And even if they do find you doing something illegal, they're not going to call ICE. In NASA, they will. Okay, that's a difference. Where would you rather live? I'd rather live in Nassau, and I do. I don't want to live in an anarchy-strewn situation
Starting point is 00:20:33 because ideological loons won't obey the law. I don't want to live there. Now, Suffolk can go either way. So I'm urging the Suffolk County Police and the county executive and organize yourself. organize it, fight to power, cooperate with ice, county to be safer. I think that's a fair analysis. Look, I hire a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:21:04 And the hardest working people that I hire are foreign nationals. Absolutely. They're the hardest working people that I hire, people born abroad. Now, I ask them, we do what we can, due diligence. And we have to see their paperwork, their Social Security number, all of that. And they provide it. If they don't, I don't hire them. But I got to tell you, they're the best.
Starting point is 00:21:34 They are the best. So I am not anti-immigrant. I would give more green cards out if I were president, you know, legitimate working papers. But you got this criminal stuff? No. No. On politics, we're still obsessed with the mayoral race, as we should be. A lot of people are going to get hurt if M. Donnie wins.
Starting point is 00:22:04 A lot of people are going to get hurt. But he's ahead. So there's a new poll out, Gotham. I don't know what this is. Gotham polling and analytics. Apparently AARP, the Senior Citizens Group, commissioned Gotham, do a poll on a. mayoral race. I can't vouch for this crew. But I'd give you the results. But I can't say that I have confidence because I don't know them. All right. Fourteen hundred likely voters in New York
Starting point is 00:22:33 City. Who do you support for mayor? Mamdani, 42% Cuomo 23. Sliwa 17, Adams 9. Okay, so if Adams drops out, which I believe you will, that nine goes over to Cuomo, it's still 42, 32. with Sleawleywood 17, because this is a party town. Curtis is a wage in a good campaign, but tough for Republican in New York City. Second question in the poll. Which candidate would you choose if you don't have your favorite? Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:16 So if Mandami was not there or whatever. Adams 35, Cuomo 24. Adams beats Cuomo, but not in the straight pole. Favorable, unfavorable, Eric Adams, 25 favorable, 63 unfavorable. That's death. That's why I think Adam's going to drop out. Remember, Adam's got to spend millions of dollars that he doesn't have.
Starting point is 00:23:41 And if he decides to stay in, he's going to have to pay that. He doesn't have money. All right, favorable, unfavorable, ma'am, Donnie. 47 favorable, 47 unfavorable. But nobody knows really anything about them. But, you know, Sliwa, 32, favorable. That's all Republicans. Unfavorable, 52, pretty much all Democrats.
Starting point is 00:24:05 It's a party deal there. Cuomo, favorable 38, unfavorable 51. And he hasn't been able to dent that, Cuomo. So I, you know, look, I still think that it's not a lock for Mam Dani. All the polling contradicts me, your humble correspondent. But I do think that Adams will drop out in September, and that will skew it a little bit. There'll be a lot of float around.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Curtis marshalling his money to do a TV campaign. That could very well help. And then let me just clarify something of what I say of we're going to suffer if Mandami gets elected. He's 33 years old. He's never really had a serious. serious job. This is the toughest city in the world to run, New York City. There's no tougher place on the earth to run than this. And he's going to walk in. The cops are going to hate him
Starting point is 00:25:01 because he called the police agency the NYPD racist. They're going to hate him right off the bat. Okay? And that's huge. Then the people pick up the garbage, the people do city services, all of that. I mean, they're just going to go, look, this guy's an amateur. And then he's going to try to tax everything that moves. I hope he tax a rat, okay? Everything that moves is going to be slapped. Remember, Albany doesn't have to sign off on a lot of stuff. He can do it himself by executive order.
Starting point is 00:25:33 And so he's going to try to get money from people who have it, the affluent people to working people and give it to the people who are poor. And those are the people that are supporting mandamus, poor people. And we have plenty of them in New York City, as you know. And a lot of them giving up hope. And he said, look, I can't compete. And I've said this before. I don't want to be repetitive.
Starting point is 00:25:54 But I want stuff. Give me stuff. Because I can't earn it. I won't earn it, whatever. So I want you to hand it to me. And that's what Mandani's rap is. Castro, the same thing. DeVos Castro, same thing.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Most people in Cuba in 1959 were very poor. Batista was a dictator. He was stealing all over the place. Castro came up and said, look, these guys are corrupt. They're, you know, stacked against you. You vote for me. I'll give you stuff. And instead, Castro took everything away from everybody.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Nobody got anything. And that's what will happen for four years if Bandami gets in there. There's a difference between loyal opposition and sedition. Great words sedition. Now, I'll get to it a moment. But loyal opposition is, look, I don't like Donald Trump. I don't like him. I didn't like Joe Biden loyal opposition.
Starting point is 00:26:48 So I thought Biden was incompetent And I believe I've made my case Beyond any reasonable doubt There are millions of Americans 75 million Who thinks Donald Trump is irresponsible too And they don't like his bluster They don't like anything about him
Starting point is 00:27:05 Nothing wrong with that Nothing wrong with not like a Biden Or not like a Trump If you're an American, you're the right to do that That's called dissent And we honor that in this country those of us who are sane, honoring. But there's a line.
Starting point is 00:27:23 And the line, when you cross and try to undermine your own country, when you root against your own country, when you want your country to fail, that's sedition. And back in the 19th century, John Adams, a country is still forming, you go to jail for that. So it was serious. So if you were trying to overthrow the government like Aaron Burr did, you charged with sedition. And he was.
Starting point is 00:27:58 We got off, but it was close. Now that is we have the media, the hate Trump media, but that's sedition on display 24-7. So if you really want to know when you practice what it is, you just watch television news. We hate Trump, so everything does bad. But there's a more important aspect to this, and that is the Democratic Party. So we do some research on this. First, I'm going to set it up with a soundbite from conservative Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas. Go.
Starting point is 00:28:32 They don't want peace, and that is sad. We should all want peace in Ukraine. I believe we're going to see that. And I think President Trump is doing everything humanly possible to achieve that peace, and not a single Democrat is cheering him on, they're all rooting for America to fail. That's really sad. So we said, okay, Ted Cruz, not a single Democrat,
Starting point is 00:28:56 and we researched. Not one elected official in Washington on the Democratic side or governor has supported anything that Donald Trump has done to try to stop the murder in Ukraine. I won. Does that make any sense to you?
Starting point is 00:29:17 That sedition? Now, you've got to make that call. You have to make this sedition call, not me. Certainly, I don't think that people who are that blind or hateful looking out for their country, I think they have a neurosis. But the entire party? You know, when Biden did rarely something that was positive, I said it.
Starting point is 00:29:44 So he tried to bring down medicine prices, Biden. That was a good thing. Democrats won't give Trump anything. So I'm going to play you some soundbys. I'll back it up. Three people I've chosen are Chris Murphy, a senator from Connecticut, obviously Democrat,
Starting point is 00:30:02 hates Trump. hates his guts. All right. Corey Booker, Democrat in New Jersey, you know him. I wouldn't say that Booker is in the category of Murphy. I think Booker is a little bit more reasonable, but certainly no, he's never going to say anything good about Republicans or Trump. And the third is Senator Chris Van Hollen, Maryland Democrat, who despises Trump.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Okay? Roll the tape on that. That meeting was a disaster. It was an embarrassment for the United States. It was a failure. Putin got everything he wanted. This is a president that said he could solve this war. ended in one day and it's many, many months now.
Starting point is 00:30:45 And he has this permissiveness towards Putin that is very dangerous. It's alarmed our most critical allies in NATO. Donald Trump once again got played by Vladimir Putin. Vladimir Putin got the red carpet treatment on American soil, but we got no ceasefire, no imminent meeting between Putin and Zelensky, all the threatened sanctions that Donald Trump talked about, apparently have been set aside. All right, now you can pull apart any meeting like that.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Here's a kicker on it. Murphy, Booker, Van Hollen. They don't have any solution to Ukraine. Zero. Nothing. So if you are going to say that Putin got everything he wanted, You've got to say what you would have done differently with Vladimir Putin. Not met with him.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Met with him somewhere else. What would you have done? How would you have treated him? No, we don't get that. All right, permissiveness toward Putin. This is Booker. Very dangerous. Okay?
Starting point is 00:32:00 It's your opinion, you're entitled to it. How would you treat Putin? Booker doesn't know. All right, Von Halen. He says, okay, threats and sanctions and Trump talked about have been set aside. That's not true. That's a flat-out lie. Damn, it's set aside.
Starting point is 00:32:21 They might have been delayed. And the president is walking a tightrope on that. Can't keep saying, I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it, and I'm going to do it, and not do it. However, Putin gives him just enough hope, Trump, that, all right, we'll give you another 10 days or so. I do the same thing. If you can avert a real confrontation by giving a little more time than you do it. Now, am I confident that Putin's going to come around? No. I think I'm going to punish him economically big time. And I know that Trump's administration is working on that specifics. Because they have to consult with the EU. There's a lot of people involved here.
Starting point is 00:33:07 China. Big, big, big, big key. So if you watch the No, Spinn News on bill o'Reilly.com, you know, we give you a very specific course of action against Putin, what you would have to do to break him. When you break him, you starve the Russian people who then rebel because they have nothing to eat. And that is the strategy. We're going to break your economy. People are not going to have enough to eat. and you're going to get killed. The only reason the Mullahs in Iran drew back from their new program and to stop funding terrorism to some extent
Starting point is 00:33:44 is because the mullers knew they were going to be killed by either Mossad, the CIA, bombings, drones, they were next because those plans have been drawn up. And the U.S. intel community, let the Iranians know, you're next. you're going. Can't do that to Putin because he's got nukes.
Starting point is 00:34:09 You can't say to Vlad, we're going to kill you. You can do it to the mullers. Because Vlad would use the nukes. Yes, he would. He'd mentally ill. When a book comes out September 9th, confronting evil, you see what we found out about Putin. You'll agree with me 100%.
Starting point is 00:34:29 And I know for a fact that Putin drew up war plans to use tactical nukes in Ukraine. He had him. And the only reason he didn't use them was China. Which remains a key for Donald Trump behind the scenes to try to persuade Beijing to tell Vlad to knock it out. All of that does take time,
Starting point is 00:34:53 but you have to, if you want to maintain credibility, we don't have much time left. Now, whatever Trump decides to do, whether it sanctions, whatever it may be, the Democrats are going to criticize it. They're not going to say that's right. Way to go, Don. You know, even if he gets a peace deal, here's what the Democrats will say.
Starting point is 00:35:21 I'm predicting it right here on YouTube. It's not going to left. No, Putin violated. No, it's a waste of time. Oh, they're putting the key in danger. That's what you're going to get. You're never going to get from the loyal opposition
Starting point is 00:35:36 any kind of, well, you know, that might be pretty good. Not going to do it. Thank you for listening to looking out for you. Remember to subscribe to my podcast feed. Also consider becoming a bill o'Reilly.com premium member.
