Welcome to the No Spin News from Monday, June 10th, 2019. Take your country back. This is a fascinating story, this Mexico tariff story. It really is. Stay with me here, okay, because I'm going to weave a tale that really is interesting if you care about political science and the United States of America and party politics. So let's start Friday, May 31st, when Donald Trump said, look, I'm going to be. to impose tariffs on Mexico. I'm going to try to break their economy if they don't help out and stop the flow of migrants through Mexico from Central America to the United States. So we've negotiated and we've tried and it's been years and years and years. They're not doing enough

to help us and we're going to slap tariffs on them. Okay, big uproar. All the Trump haters go, no, you can't do this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. A week later, on Friday, June 7th, the U.S. announces that Mexico is now going to help, all right, one week. And President Trump says, okay, I'm not going to put tariffs on, at least not now. We'll see what the help is. The help comes in two ways. Mexico says going to move 6,000 troops to the Guatemalan border, which is 500 miles. But it's only 10 border checkpoints.

The rest of it is mountains and jungle and, you know, some people can get through there, but not masses of people. So you get 10 border checkpoints. You get 6,000 troops. It should be enough to stop it. If you don't have a valid passport, you don't get in. It's easy. That's the way you run a country.

Now, the second aspect is that Mexico will accept refugee seekers who are sent back by U.S. authorities once they cross into USA, ask for asylum, they get their information, they go, you got to wait in Tijuana, or Juarez, or Matamoros, or Nuevo Laredo. You can't wait here in the United States. Mexico says, okay, take them back. They can wait. That's two pretty significant things. All right, Democrats, going to Iowa. First, a quick break. So anyway, 19 out of the 24 Democrats, go to Iowa over the weekend for a fundraiser, and then they run around giving speeches and telling everybody, hey, I'm the greatest

guy or a gal. But Joe Biden didn't show up. Okay. Biden tweeted he was attending his granddaughter's graduation. So he couldn't go. So he could have attended it and then gone. See, private jets can get you from D.C. to Iowa in about two and a half hours. But he didn't go. Why didn't he go? He doesn't need to go. He doesn't eat Iowa. Biden doesn't eat Iowa. In fact, Biden will probably lose Iowa. He didn't care. A real clear politics right now has Biden up 33.6 percent, Sanders 2nd 17, Elizabeth Warren 8. Warren might win in Iowa. But the woman has no chance to get the Democratic nomination, so does Biden care.

You know, Biden basically, I told you this from the very beginning. He's not going to be around I much. He's doing it on his name and his association with Barack Obama. Okay, so he doesn't want to heat, though, Joe. Joe doesn't want to heat. So the Hyde Amendment says that in the United States, government funding cannot be used for abortions unless there's rape, incest, or the mother may die.

Okay? The reason the Hyde Amendment was passed in 1776 was that back then, and today as well, some responsible leaders, Congress, people, senators, whatever. So, you know, if you have 30% of our population Roman Catholic, and the Roman Catholic faith says no abortion, it's a grave sin, evangelicals as well, if you have that many people, you can't force them to pay for abortion.

And that's what you're doing by using taxpayer money. That's the rationale. It doesn't have any to do with pro-choice, pro-life. It has to do with you're forcing Americans to violate their conscience because you're taking their money and you're allowing it to be used for abortion. That's the Hyde Amendment. So for his whole life, Biden supported the Hyde Amendment. Until life.

Until last week. when the far left got all over them and go, oh, you hate women. Joe Biden hates women, poor women. And all of a sudden, so what does this tell you? You draw your own conclusion about Joe Biden, but I'm going to do a column on it this week about this whole thing. And it's not about anti-abortion or pro-abortion or belief system. It's about how this whole argument has been reframed to make people who sincerely believe life begins

at conception, pro-life people, evil. The press has managed to do that. Okay, another quick break. This one is about the Glenn Beck thing that I'm going to participate in. All right, final thought of the day, America, and those who root against us. So you expect it from the Chinese, from the Russians, from other countries jealous of the USA? expect that, right? They don't want to really see us do well. How about Americans who root against their own country? How about those? They're divided into two. The ones that really despise America, hate capitalism, think that the founding fathers were racist, white supremacists, run the country, those people. They just hate the USA. I put them at 10% maybe a little bit more now. A lot of them are just dopey college kids that don't know anything. But then there's a growing crew that despise Donald Trump so much. They're rooting against prosperity for the USA to get

him out. So every time the economy rolls in with something good, they're cursing. So he makes the deal with Mexico. So Mexico will help us a little bit more on the migrant thing. They hate it. You saw that at a topic program. They hate it. New York Times hates this because it makes Trump look strong, makes them look better and enhances its odds of being reelected. So they, in effect, are rooting against all country to get Trump out. Because a good economy benefits us all.

The owners who don't benefit are the ones who are addicted and who are too lazy to work or whatever. But if you want to work, you can work. Everywhere I go, the signs, help, help, help, help. You know, decent paying jobs. So I bet you you know some of these people. I bet you know them that every time something good happens, they're mad. They want everything to collapse.

So that Trump is not elected. Bad. Unpatriotic. Don't do it. Call it out when you see it. Bad. No excuse. You don't have to like Donald Trump.
