Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly.com, premium members, welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, April 2nd, 2020. Fight for your freedom and for your health. Another rollicking program tonight, I think. Please have a pen and paper down. We're going to give you some very useful information that you can pass along to your friends or keep in a file so you know the truth about the pandemic, which I think is about as an important story as I've ever covered. All right. So as we went over yesterday in methodical detail, and I hope you will watch if you haven't yesterday's broadcast, and I laid it out in the message of the day and, you know, I'm pretty
Starting point is 00:00:55 much on top of this. Trump is now being used by the Democratic Party and the anti-Trump press in trying to harm him, but by extension that harms the country. So instead of we're all in it together, we've got to fight the virus, we may not like Donald Trump, but we're going to cooperate with him, we're not going to tear him down, it's not happening. We documented yesterday, the Boston Globe, the New York Times, CNN, NBC News, the usual suspects. This is creating hatred and division even more in our country because we're all under strain. All right, so let's get to the facts.
Starting point is 00:01:38 So as you have heard a million times on right-wing radio and Fox News, the president did stop flights from China on January 31st. That, and I'm going to take credit, was nine days after I gave the warning to you. you and to the world that this pandemic was going to be a serious story. I did that on January 22nd. Now, no other country had banned flights from China before the president did what he did, except North Korea, which locked down its border to everybody. Nobody goes to North Korea. So it was more of a symbolic gesture. They did that in mid-January. China, also banned flights from, I'm sorry, Italy, Italy also banned flights from China on January 31st after Mr. Trump. Okay, so you have the United States and Italy, only countries in the world that are basically saying, we see the threat that early on January 31st.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Now we did a search, my crack investigative team here at Bill O'Reilly.com, on whether any work, world leaders spoke out, sounded a warning. Now, Donald Trump did not sound a warning other than stopping the flights, which was pretty significant. And remember, Joe Biden and others took shots at him for doing it. But he didn't go around saying, this is going to be hell. We got to stockpile this. We got to do that. President did not do that. And I did not call for that. And I don't know anyone else who did. Because we did a search, and we can't find one world leader who did that. You are listening to a free excerpt from Bill O'Reilly.com's No Spin News broadcast, where you can actually see me. We'll be right back after this message.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty free.
Starting point is 00:04:14 With billions in precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from Better Business Bureau. You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-5-7576 or text bill to 99-88-99. Again, that's 866-3-2-6-5576-56-5576 or text bill to 99-88-99. So a very interesting soundbite happened on CNN yesterday. Gavin Newsom, about as left wing as you can get, the governor of California, doesn't like Trump at all. Listen to what Newsom said about the president and the pandemic. Go. But let me just be candid with you.
Starting point is 00:05:05 I'd be lying to you to say that he hasn't been responsive to our needs. He has. And so as a question, as a sort of an offer of objectivity, I have to acknowledge that publicly. Now, of course, the CNN people don't know what to do. Oh, my God. So Newsom, they don't have any problem. And that's the largest state in the union. I think the fair assessment of Donald Trump is this.
Starting point is 00:05:32 He was warned by his national security people that this pandemic could happen. He was warned late January. He called Xi, the president of China. She said, no, don't worry about it. We got out of control. Okay, she lied. Then when it got worse, Trump took the action stop and the flights. But he didn't want to panic the markets.
Starting point is 00:06:02 He didn't want to panic the world economic system. So he took a probably more optimistic viewpoint that maybe in hindsight he should have, but it wasn't anything terrible. It was, all right, we're going to handle it. But he didn't say, we got a stockpile X, Y, and Z. You didn't do that because I don't think anybody in the government told him that was necessary. And Donald Trump is not a medical expert. It's not what he does. All right. So that's the honest assessment. And then when it started to do it. explode, it looks to me, according to Gavin Newsom, that Trump is trying to help, anybody needs help. That's my assessment of it. Now, if that's not good enough, don't vote for
Starting point is 00:06:46 him. Donald Trump was tipped off that Joe Biden was thinking about selecting Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer as VP. And I do believe Governor Whitmer will be by selection. You're looking at her. So Trump says, quote, she's a new governor and it's not been pleasant. We've had a big problem with a young woman governor. You know who I'm talking about from Michigan. We don't like to see the complaints. All right. So Whitmer, very cleverly, has set herself up as an anti-Trump politician. Michigan has got a big problem with the virus. So Biden is going to put her on ticket because he needs Michigan and he promised to put a woman on there. That is my prediction. Hang tough. And here's an announcement.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. So I have to go back now to the 70s, 1971 in particular.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Let's see that picture. There I am. 1971. Okay. Look at the hair on them, huh? In three weeks, that's what I'm going to look like. Because I can't get a haircut. Now, can't get your nails done, but I don't get my nails done. Okay, I'm not one of those guys. I don't get manicures or pedic, whatever, maybe. No. But I do get haircuts, and I can't get one.
Starting point is 00:08:52 So you can't get the haircuts. You can't have personal grooming with nails and whatever. You can't go to gym, but you can work out at home. But, you know, in a gym and a lot of that, socialization. you can't do that. Can't get an ice cream cone unless you go into the grocery store. Remember the ice cream trucks? They start up around now for the kids. Little bell. The kids run out. Everybody's happy to get the ice cream. No more. Uh-uh. Not going to see the ice cream trucks. Can't go golfing in many places here on Long Island. You can golf in some of the courses. But you can only
Starting point is 00:09:23 one to a cart. So to give you a cart and you can walk the course, but only by yourself. Can't go out and a foursome. So there is some golf going. going on. Some of the Jersey shores closed down. Some of the other beaches have closed down. You know, I like going to the beach. I still do. You know, in my case, I own the beach, so I can go to the beach. I'm lucky. I'm very, very lucky. No dating. No dating zone. So, now you've got to date by Skype or whatever they do. I don't know what they do, but no dating going on. You know, Easter's coming up and families can't get together. It's not smart to do do that. And even taking a new dog to see other dogs can't do that. So the terror dog, he
Starting point is 00:10:10 doesn't, she doesn't like to do the dog park thing. It's way too much for the Tara dog. So I, it's all right. I don't have to deal with it. Now, it is a shame though, you know, that the holiday season and Holy Week and all that's been impacted, but there really isn't anything we can do with that. So we just have to, you know, by phone. I mean, it's a very, very tough thing. But don't get down. Don't get depressed. Use your downtime, as I said, to talk to people on the phone, go out, buy people's supplies that need them, older people, do as many good things as you can, learn, and then think. Think, think, think, think, think. So that's what I'm going to do this weekend. I'll be checking in. And as I told you,
Starting point is 00:10:53 we have hundreds of thousands of people coming in here now, because we're telling you the truth about the pandemic, where other news agencies are not. We're not using any for political reasons. We're looking out for you as we always do. So please tell your family and friends that this is the place to be, all right? Costs a little money, not a lot. Well worth it with all the discounts we give you. And I want you to have a peaceful weekend. Peaceful. We'll see on Monday.
