CNN brings on Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has become the media face of the virus. Now, Fauci himself is a very entertaining guy, and the media likes it, because Fauci is undisciplined in what he says. Go. The U.S. has 30% of the world's reported coronavirus cases and almost 20% of the reported coronavirus deaths. Sanjay Gupta said, this is all because we got started

too late in the U.S. Is that right? Do you agree? You know, it isn't as simple as that, Jake. I'm sorry. I mean, to just say this is all happening because we got started too late. Obviously, if you look, could you have done something a little bit earlier, would have had an impact, obviously. But where we are right now is the result of a number of factors, the size of the country, the heterogeneity of the country. I think it's a little bit unfair to compare us to South Korea, where they had an outbreak

in Daegu, and they had the capability of immediately, essentially, shutting it off completely in a way that we may not have been able to do in this country. All right. Now, that sounds pretty reasonable, right? No. The headline pulled out of there. and put on the left-wing media sites, which is 90% of them, is Fauci says, could we have done something a bit earlier? Would it have had an impact? Obviously. Okay. Now, Fauci should know that the despicable Jake Tapper, as intellectually dishonest the man that there is on the media, because he portrays himself as a reporter. He's not a reporter. He's a political left-wing hack.

And always has been, okay? Fauci should know that Tapper's baiting him. Because here's what Fauci said about the coronavirus on Newsmax, January 21st. Go. Bottom line, we don't have to worry about this one, right? Well, you know, obviously you need to take it seriously and do the kinds of things that the CDC and the Department of Homeland Security. are doing, but this is not a major threat for the people in the United States, and this is not

something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about. Okay. That's January 21st. So if that's what the lead doctor on infectious diseases for the federal government is saying, how would President Trump know any different? How? Now, the next day I said, you better watch this virus. All right. Now, I wasn't contradicting Fauci. I was basically seeing a geopolitical storm developing. And, of course, we have that soundbite.

Now, the strategy has changed from small ball ventilators, respirators, masks, medicines, that's all gone. All right? The new strategy, which comes from K Street in Washington, from a democratic think tank, all right, is Trump's incompetent because that's everybody understands that. He's incompetent. And Americans died because he's incompetent. Period. That's what it is. Now, the Trump people know this. It's obvious. And the press, that's the mantra. Press pops it out. New York Times, CNN, New York Times over the weekend, Trump knew he didn't do

thing, all right. Very well coordinated. We've gone over this and over this. The Democratic apparatchniks in Washington and in Boston work directly with the national meeting. Okay. So the president then takes last night's press conference on the virus to basically fight back against the press. There's a two-pronged war. There's the war against the virus itself. And then there's a war against the press that's trying to destroy President Trump over the virus. So they run a montage, they being the Trump administration. Roll it. People should be more concerned right now with the flu in this country. A lot of people are concerned about the coronavirus because they're hearing a lot of news about it right now.

But the reality is comparing it to the flu, for example, it's not even close to being at that stage. What if it is worse? Is this a moment where maybe countries put politics aside, a little bit of pride aside, and do we have U.S. officials? Should U.S. professionals such as yourself get involved? How worried should Americans be about coronavirus? Coronavirus is not going to cause a major issue in the United States. Okay, and it went on and on, and a million different things. So the press was outraged that Donald Trump used the virus presser, press conference, for this. They called it propaganda. Not really propaganda. Those were things that were said, and there's a ton more.

So the lead story today is the blame game. As you know, the Democratic Party, the media, they're blaming Donald Trump. The virus out of control is his fault. He doesn't know anything. He's the devil. On and on and on and on. Trump administration is now blaming China and the World Health Now, that is a crew attached to the UN, the United Nations, that's funded by all the countries in the world. Of course, most countries don't give them anything, but we give them about $500 million a year. It's a lot of money. Now, the World Health Organization, for whatever reason, likes the Chinese government in Beijing. And when the virus first appeared in December of last year, December 2019, the World Health Organization really wasn't at

aggressive investigating it. It kind of took the word of the totalitarians in Beijing that it was under control, wasn't that bad, no person-in-person transmission, all of that. So the WHO said, oh, okay, yeah, all right. And it turned out that that was all a bunch of lies. And by the dereliction of duty, the WHO helped the lies. They should have been in there. They should have been look at themselves. They weren't. So Donald Trump is blaming the W.H.O. Roll the tape. Today, I'm instructing my administration to halt funding of the World Health Organization while a review is conducted to assess the world health organization's role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus.

All right, I would have done the same thing. Absolutely would have done the same thing. Why are we giving money in this organization when they're that incompetent or corrupt? So we'll investigate and then we'll either resume funding it or not, depending on the findings. So Donald Trump knocked off the $500 million a year the USA gives to the World Health Organization directly. Didn't say, I'm stopping it forever because he can't. Congress has to make that determination. but he says, I'm suspending because we're going to investigate why the WHO enabled China to lie to the world, which they did. Remember, the WHO objected to President Trump stopping

flights from China and from Europe. They objected publicly to it. Remember that. That's a key. So if your president, you're not going to stop the 500 million going in there to investigate what the hell is going on. Of course you are. If you're responsible, And also remember, the far left was pounding Trump for being soft on China. But now they've reversed it. Okay. So Nancy Pelosi, who I said yesterday, I'm revising my opinion. I used to think she was misguided.

I think she might be evil. She might be an evil individual. So she says, quote, we can only be successful in defeating the global pandemic through a coordinated international response with respect for science and data. But sadly, as Trump has since day one, the president is ignoring global health experts. Yeah, he did. He ignored the WHO, global health experts, and he stopped the flights from China. Madam Speaker, yeah, he ignored them. You object to that now? In hindsight, objecting? Are you? Absurd. But Pelosi knows she could say anything she wants and get away with it

because the media never covered. Not here. And I'm pointing out again, as I did yesterday, that on February 24th, the day before Mardi Gras, remember, Mardi Gras infected thousands of people in New Orleans. Nancy Pelosi told the people of San Francisco to go to Chinatown and have dinner. because the restaurants there were suffering the day before and now Nancy Pelosi is saying Trump didn't do this Trump didn't do that he ignores science and you know what the ignore science is all about global warming because Trump's not on the climate change train he's ignoring science and now they're trying to tie that into here so Pelosi as absurd and as hypocritical as any human being could be but nobody

knows it but you. Because it's not even being reported on the Fox News Channel or any of that. They don't take the time to analyze what's really happening in this country. Christian Aminpour works for CNN, I think, still, and she does something for, not NPR, PBS. All right, put her quote on the screen. Defunding WHO in the middle of a pandemic is like pulling the plug on firefighters in the aftermath of 9-11, unquote, Christiane Aminpoor. Now, again, that is a one world. Ms. Aminpour is a leftist, doesn't like the United States dominating, wants everybody the same in the world. But my job to point it out.
