Welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, January 9th, 2020, Fight for Your Freedom.
So let's do Iran first, then we'll do impeachment, then we'll do the rest of the stories,
including a new poll on the Democratic presidential nominees.
President Trump did a good job in tamping the whole story down.
People are not as hysterical as they were earlier in the week.
The only hysteria is Nancy Pelosi driving a husband.
House vote that says that the president has to confer with Congress before taking any military
action. Of course, that would be impossible. You wouldn't have gotten Soleimani or even Osama
bin Laden. The problem with conferring with Congress over military action is that there'll be
leaks. It'll leak out. You know, everybody knows. Both parties do it.
So as soon as the president says, you know, I might hit this person or that country, bang.
It's in the news media, and the country, of course, knows.
So that's ridiculous, and it's not going to go anywhere.
And Pelosi's just doing it to annoy Trump.
And this is what the woman does, and we'll get into that with the impeachment.
I mean, she's not really the Speaker of the House anymore.
She's the leader of the resistance.
I met her once, Nancy Pelosi.
She did not know who I was, and this was.
when I was bringing in record ratings for the O'Reilly Factor.
She didn't have any idea who I was.
Which I don't care. I didn't, I thought it was funny.
Now, her husband was with her. He knew exactly who I was and all that.
He was like this.
So to say the woman's detached and to say that she's not really looking out
for all Americans is the truth. She's very effective.
you know, getting her votes, Democratic votes in the House, but this whole thing's going nowhere.
And, you know, Soleimani would be alive today if President Trump had to confer with somebody before smoking him.
You know, the guys are terrorists. He's dead. Good. You know, Al-Baghdadi, Osama bin Laden, all the rest of them.
See you. You're trying to kill Americans. You get what you deserve. You deserve. You deserve.
what you get. There you go. You are listening to a free excerpt from Bill O'Reilly.com's
No Spin News broadcast, where you can actually see me. We'll be right back after this message.
Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post
columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week I'll sit down for candid
conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers,
lawmakers, and even the president of the United States.
These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world.
Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify,

You don't want to miss an episode.
All right, 55% of Americans say killing Soleimani makes the United States less safe.
This is in USA Today, but it's deceiving, which is why USA today is going out of business.
It's not an honest broker of information anymore.
It's a shame when it first started, I remember they even had a TV show that was this big thing,
national newspaper, going to be fair, and it was fair for a while.
But then Ginnett blew it.
Ginnett's the parent company, and now it's a part of the resistance.
Anyway, the headline again is 55% of Americans say killing of Soleimani makes U.S.
less safe.
Then they ask the poll question.
Do you support or oppose the United States killing Iranian general Soleimani?
Support 42, oppose 33.
So 42% yeah, good.
I'm glad he's dead.
33.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
then how does that square with the headline?
Because there's a little subtle thing, well, do you think, you know, this makes us safe?
Well, they might attack back.
You see what I mean?
But the headline is less safe, not most Americans support the killing of Soleimani.
This is corruption.
Press corruption.
Mike Lee, a senator from Utah, Rand Paul, senator from Kentucky, both Republicans.
They don't want.
military confrontation in Middle East. And the Democrats blow that up. But those senators are entitled
to their opinion. And the people in Utah and Kentucky can either vote them out or keep them in.
I don't. So what? So what? Mike Lee and Rand Paul don't like military action abroad.
Okay. I think it's healthy in any political party that you have different points of view.
I don't know why that's a big deal.
There was a Ukrainian jetliner that took off from Tehran flying back to Ukraine, and it blew up in the sky.
Those of us who understand what Iran is, immediately suspected foul play.
That has been semi-confirmed.
It looks like Iran shot the civilian airliner out of the sky, killing 172 people.
Now, it says, shot down by mistake.
I can't imagine a mistake of that magnitude, maybe.
But remember, Iranis planes going in and out every day.
I mean, Toronto's a big city.
It's a mistake.
There's more to this, I don't know.
I'm not going to speculate.
late. I did when I heard about the plane crash, knew it wasn't just a plane crash because of
mechanical failure. We all knew that. Now we know the Iranians shot it out of this guy.
Why they did it, that I don't know. Stay away. Stay away. You know, certain places I will not go.
Iran, obviously the top of the list. I won't go to the
Mexico. Not I'm not going. About opportunities I was there a couple years ago. Not going.
All right, impeachment. So it's over. Nancy Pelosi not aggressively giving the articles of
impeachment passed by the house on a partisan vote, not immediately sending him over, sent the signal
to people that something shady here and there is. So now, uh, he's,
her own people, Feinstein, Senator Feinstein, Democrat from California, goes, hey, send them over,
Nancy. So she has to. And she will, but it's over. The story's over. Nobody's talking about it.
Nobody cares about it. Everybody knows President Trump's not going to be removed from office.
And the senators like Murkowski and Collins and Romney, who might, might have, you know,
given Trump a hard time, the Republican senators, they're not going to now. Because the court of
public opinion has ruled. This is a farce, and it is. I expect next week there'll be some
Senate stuff on impeachment. Then it'll be gone. You are listening to a free excerpt from
Bill O'Reilly.com's No Spin News broadcast, where you can actually see me. We'll be right back
after this message. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got
exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that
matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics,
business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post
wrapped up in one snappy show. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast.

All right, here's the final thought of the day. So we got a lot of breaking stuff. And because
of the campaign, that's going to continue for the next 11 months. I now am going to do updates
throughout the evening. All right. So after the no-spin news is over, if something happens,
I'm going to go audio and visual, right, and do a pop, two, three minutes on whatever's
happening. We're going to do that consistently. Now, the reason that it's easier to do it is
because I'm now doing radio to the extent where we do a new AM commentary and we do the afternoon
and we post all that on the site. But I'm constantly in the news cycle now. So we're going to do
that for you guys. So when there's a big story, come here. We will have a banner telling you when I'm
going to be up talking about it or we may even have it up by the time you get here. So that's new.
And that's my pleasure to give you a 24-hour news service.
You guys have made it all possible.
That's it.
I'll be checking in over the weekend.
Anything big happens?
You'll see me.
I'll come on and we'll do it.
And we will talk to you again on Monday.
