Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Bill O'Reilly here Thursday, July 25th. We're taping a special today because I got to have some time off. I'm in a coma. I'm not actually in a coma, but mentally I am. You can't see that, kind of like Joe Biden. So we have a special. We have three elements to the special. So we're going to go over my initial analysis of the Trump-Biden debate and what I said.
Starting point is 00:00:34 You'll, I think, be very interested to hear it. Then we're going to go over my special report on the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. And thirdly, we're going to re-rack the Biden-drops-out situation. now this is historically important you know that in quite a short period of time for this country and its people but i want to remind you about what we report so you can stack it up to the absolute garbage you see on a lot of television news it's just awful it's the worst in tv news history now today. So I want you to make a comparison. And when watching, you might take some notes, but we are in business to serve you and to give you honest information. So that
Starting point is 00:01:36 being said, let us roll this special report. I'm working Fridays. I thought that was behind me, but it's not because of the history that was made last night in the presidential debate in Atlanta, and I was all over the place, way over-exposed, TV, radio, you name it. But right now, you are going to witness the best analysis of that debate in the world. I promise. And if I'm overstating it, you let me have it. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. All right, let's go.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Talking points memo. I told you, beginning in early March, that something big was going to happen to influence the 2024 presidential vote. You remember that. I've said it probably too many times. Well, last night was it. That was it. That was huge. That was the worst presidential debate performance by a candidate in our history. It was pathetic, it was depressing, because this man is in charge of all of us, and it is dangerous. He should not be in that position, and there is no doubt about it anymore. Let me prove my case.
Starting point is 00:03:08 So we begin with the two men entering the debate arena. They hate each other. No eye contact, no handshake. No handshake at the end. They despise each other personally, big time. Trump looked a little tired, but he didn't look bad, and they were shooting them tight, which means you saw close-ups of him.
Starting point is 00:03:37 You didn't notice this, but I did. They very rarely, CNN, shot Biden tight. Biden was very pale. his voice was raspy and when he started to decline in the debate very quickly there was something put out that he had a cold but that did not stop him from going to the Waffle House after the debate but he did not look good okay the moderators Dana Bash and Jake Tapper were told before the debate and this is anonymous source so you don't have to believe it, but I know it's true. They were told by the new CEO of CNN to not allow their
Starting point is 00:04:25 liberal ideology to be demonstrated during the debate. They were ordered not to do that. And the reason was that CNN is in so much desperate trouble, they are now below 500,000 viewers in prime time. Remember, I did six million viewers on the two runs at Fox News for the factor. So the debate begins, all right? And in the first minute, the first minute, Biden makes a big verbal mistake. Go. The economy collapsed. There were no jobs. Unemployment rate rose to 15%. It was terrible. And so what we had to do is try to put things back together again. That's exactly what we began to do.
Starting point is 00:05:18 We created 15,000 new jobs. We brought out in a position where we have 800,000 new manufacturing jobs, but there's more to be done. 15,000 new jobs, of course. He meant 15 million new jobs. Pretty significant mistake. I've made mistakes like that. I've misspoken, but that's a big one. 15,000 new jobs we've created.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Come on. And he didn't hear it in his mind to correct himself. When I saw that, I went, going to be a bad night for President Biden. All right. Then, in 10 minutes into the debate, I want to be very precise here, so you follow what I'm following,
Starting point is 00:06:12 10 minutes in. The president of the United States totally collapses. Go. We have a thousand trillionaires in America, I mean billionaires in America. And what's happening? They're in a situation where they, in fact, pay 8.2% in taxes. If they just paid 24% or 25%, either one of those numbers, they'd raise $500 million, billion, I should say, in the 10-year period.
Starting point is 00:06:39 We'd be able to wipe out his debt. We'd be able to help make sure that all those things. we need to do, child care, elder care, making sure that we continue to strengthen our health care system, making sure that we're able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I've been able to do with the COVID, excuse me, with dealing with everything we have to do with, look, if we finally beat Medicare. sensible. gibberish.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Now it's painful to watch that. For me, I know a lot of people despise Joe Biden. I don't personally. I think he's the second worst president of history. I've said that too many times. I'll back that up in my upcoming book. But I'm sitting there going, this is... Remember, everybody in the world is watching this.
Starting point is 00:07:37 And he's going, trillionaires, no billionaires, no billion, no million, no million, and then we finally beat Medicare. What does that mean? What does that mean? And he's throwing out stats that are absolutely false, but they both did that. Okay, but you go, uh-oh. And I knew then that Joe Biden is finished.
Starting point is 00:08:02 He is not going to be on the ballot in November, I predict. And if he is, it's going to be a landslide for Trump. So the Trump people want him to be on the ballot now. after that okay so that was ten minutes into the debate but that was just the beginning of the verbal chaos go there had to take out student loans that were ballooning that if they were engaged in nursing doctor and anything having to do with volunteers or investment in America over millions billions of dollars in private investment in enterprises that we are
Starting point is 00:08:41 growing. We, by the way, we brought off a lot of people, well, the whole idea of computers. What I did when, for example, he wants to get away with, get rid of the ability of Medicare to, for the ability to, for the, us to be able to negotiate drug price with the big pharma companies. Well, guess what? We got it, we got it down in $15, excuse me, $35, and I'm going continue to move until we get the total ban on the total initiative relative to what we're going to do with more border patrol and more asylum officers. President Trump, I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don't think he knows what he said either. Now, Trump was fairly gentle about the verbal gaffs last night. He was restrained Donald Trump. And that was a good
Starting point is 00:09:36 strategy for him because this is like you know somebody down on the ground getting kicked and there's no doubt about it um it's all right it's tragic that's what it is now biden had maybe two or three good moments in 90 minutes here was his strongest moment go he sat there for three hours three hours watching begging being begged by his vice president and a number of his colleagues in the Republican side as well to do something, to call for a stop, to end it. Instead, they've talked about these people being patriots and great patrons of America.
Starting point is 00:10:17 In fact, he says he'll now forgive them for what they've done. He's obviously talking about January 6th. Trump really didn't have a meaningful reply to that other to blame Nancy Pelosi for failing to call in National Guard, which is true. Pelosi even admitted that, and we extensively reported on that. But that was a high point for Biden.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Saying that Trump didn't do it even three hours. That's true. That's true. Okay. Now, on the Trump side, his strongest moment was pounding Joe Biden over the southern border, rolling. And because of his ridiculous, insane, and very stupid policies, people are coming in and they're killing our citizens
Starting point is 00:11:04 at a level that we've never seen. We call it migrant crime. I call it Biden migrant crime. They're killing our citizens at a level that we've never seen before. And you're reading it like these three incredible young girls over the last few days.
Starting point is 00:11:18 One of them I just spoke to the mother and he just had the funeral for this girl, 12 years old. This is horrible what's taken place. What's taken place in our country we're literally an uncivilized country now. He doesn't want it to be. He just doesn't.
Starting point is 00:11:34 know, he opened the borders. That was devastating. And remember, he could have been worse if Trump had said the President of the United States has not called any of the victims of the migrant crime, which he hasn't. We went over Lake and Riley. We went over all of that.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Just today, a young girl in Syracuse, New York, was murdered. Migrants charged with it. So, Biden then, is in a spot. right? He needs to rise up because that's the most emotional thing about the whole debate is the violence stemming from the open border. I want you to listen to this sound by very, very carefully. This is the worst statement I have ever heard or read in all of my research on the presidents. The worst statement by a president of the United States. Will it?
Starting point is 00:12:34 Look, there's so many young women who have been, including a young woman who just was murdered, and he went to the funeral. And the idea that she was murdered by an immigrant coming into, they talk about that. But here's a deal. There's a lot of young women are being raped by their in-laws, by their spouses, brothers and sisters, by just, it's just ridiculous. Are you kidding? I really don't know what to say. There's a lot of women, young women being raped by their in-laws, spouses, brothers and sisters. Does a rational human being say that?
Starting point is 00:13:19 No. It's not about cognitive decline anymore. It's about rationality. That man, Joe Biden, does not know what he is saying. or doing, in my opinion. That was frightening. Then he said this. Go.
Starting point is 00:13:42 We significantly increased the number of asylum officers. Significantly, by the way, the Border Patrol endorsed me, endorsed my position. Well, at 933, the Border Patrol Union issued this statement on X, quote, to be clear, we have never and never will endorse me. Biden. Now, all the liberal papers and everything like that, Trump's lies, Trump's lies, Trump's lies. Okay, you saw it, you heard it. Flat out, there's Joe. Now, I'm not going to do balls and strikes on lies and exaggerations. That's insane. Okay? But the union in the middle of the debate goes, no, we never endorsed them and we never will. He doesn't get any more clear than that.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Okay. So the closing statements, I was going to play you the closing statements, 38 seconds, but I'm not going to do it because they're so pedestrian. They don't mean anything. Usually a closing statement in a debate is like, to make you sore, both Trump and Biden, it was just the same old, okay? So I'm not going to bother playing it. Let's go to reaction. It's one of those powerful Democrats in the country is David. with Axelrod. He works for CNN. He was the architect of Barack Obama's victories and the probably closest advisor to Obama, even now. Here's what Axelrod said. I think what it says to a lot of people, a lot of active Democrats, is, man, we can beat this guy, but I don't know if we can beat
Starting point is 00:15:20 him with the press guys. Scott, we haven't hurt for you. You can't beat him with Biden. All right. MSNBC, it was a funeral. Okay. Joy Reid, you know. You know MSNBC, okay, you know what that is. Rule the tape. Joe Biden's job was to reassure them tonight. His job was to calm his party to make them feel that, yes, I can do this. I have four more years in me. I have the ability and the stamina and the strength to do four more years.
Starting point is 00:15:55 He did not do that. He did the opposite of that. He made them more panicked. incredible saving from a woman who everything's about race white supremacy Biden's the greatest not anymore apparently CNN also almost a funeral go that was painful I love Joe Biden I worked for Joe Biden he didn't do well at all he did not do well at all but he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence of the country and of the base, and he failed to do that.
Starting point is 00:16:34 The only one we could find, besides Jill Biden, that thought that Joe Biden did well in debate was Governor Gavin Newsom. Go. Well, I thought on the substance, he won the debate. I'm old school. I'm old-fashioned. That's what matters to me. Now, just keep that in mind because Newsom is being considered to replace Joe Biden,
Starting point is 00:16:59 which would be good for the Republicans and Trump because Newsom is wrecked California. And for him to say a statement like that, you know what you're getting. All right. Newspapers, full-screen newspapers. Here is the LA Times, quote, headline. Biden's verbal stumbles Trump's morals of an alley cat. Six debate takeaways. Reuters news service.
Starting point is 00:17:27 President Biden struggles as Trump. Trump stretches truth in first debate. I'm sorry, Biden falters as Trump unleashes falsehoods during the presidential debate. They're also similar. Here's a Boston Globe, very liberal paper. President Biden struggles as Trump stretches the truth in first debate. It might be the same guy right in all of these. All right.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Then the New York Times, which is absolutely panic now. Trump's debate performance, relentless attacks and falsehoods, doesn't even mention Biden, doesn't even mention it. Washington Post lost 77 million last year. Biden stumbles in fiery debate as Trump spreads falsehoods. All right, that's fair reporting, right? Fair headlines from newspaper industry around the country? I got a million of that. And then on the other side, the right, the conservative, as gloating. Go. Well, the reality is, I mean, the discussion beforehand is, were they going to drug him up? I think they give him a lobotomy instead.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Well, look, I think they're going to desperately try to get Joe Biden off the ticket because he was such a disaster tonight, but they can't. It's too late. All right. I wouldn't be gloating if I were the Republican Party. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. national debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Please call 866-326-55-7576 or text bill to 99-89-89-again. And that's 866-326-5576-5576 or text bill to 998899. Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist, and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Every week, I'll sit down for candid conversations with Washington's most powerful disruptors, lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the President of the United States.
Starting point is 00:20:22 These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world. Listen to Podforce One with me, Miranda Devine, every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. Trump, again, was restraint. That now going forward would be a strategy he might, Consider. He doesn't need to attack Biden any longer. Everybody has it now. Any honest person has it. You'll still get the zealots. You'll get the zombies. You'll get them. They'll vote for Biden. But any honest person knows that Joe Biden is finished. Okay. And he is. So Trump doesn't have to hammer him. You know, he can certainly point out what he wants to point out. But looking forward about what Trump. going to do for the American people would be a better strategy for him in my opinion all right now
Starting point is 00:21:23 i was on tv both before and after uh the debate on news nation which is a network on the rise and the reason it is is because they are making a attempt to balance things all right so i go on chris quomo's program he's an ardent liberal um a traditional guy who will challenge that kind of thinking and you see it. And it works. Okay. And you don't see that on Fox. You don't see it on MSNBC or CNN much. You don't see it anymore. So there was a fact check by NewsN nation anchor Elizabeth Vargas. Go. He said it was a made-up story that he said there were very fine people on both sides in Charlottesville. He's on camera saying exactly that. He said migrants are living in luxury hotels, they are not. They're living in hotels in New York City. They're definitely not
Starting point is 00:22:20 luxurious. All right, on a Charlottesville thing, I wrote the United States of Trump, a best-selling book, number one on the New York Times list, and I investigated exactly what happened there. All right? Apparently, Ms. Vargas did not read that book, so I had to fill her in. Go. The fact checked on News Nation was wrong. I'm sorry to say it, but I wrote a book, the United States of Trump and the good persons on both sides remark was made in the context of taking down Confederate statues. That is the truth. Documented truth. So Trump was talking about the demonstration in the first place was fueled by one side wanting to take down Confederate statues, the other side not wanting to do that. And Trump said, there are good people on both sides. It wasn't saying that the Nazis
Starting point is 00:23:19 who rolled into town were good people. How many times have you heard that? How many times? And that's why the press has lost all credibility in this country. Okay, now for another perspective, and I'm going to give them some room tonight. The always engaging, Bernard Goldberg, joins us now from North Carolina. He is the purveyor, as you know, of bernardgoldberg.com, very provocative website, fact-based, which we like. All right. So Goldberg has been listening to me Bloviate for 22 minutes. What say you?
Starting point is 00:24:04 First, I would like to express my gratitude to Joe Biden because by comparison, he makes me look almost okay, almost okay. Now, I jot it down just five quick points, and I'll race through them, Bill. Biden wanted the debate to dispel concerns that about his age and about his mental fitness for office. big mistake because his age and mental fitness for office are the only thing people are talking about today two when CNN and the New York Times and other liberal journalists call his performance a disaster even calling for him to drop out of the race you know the Democratic Party is in full panic mode point number three Biden surrogates including Josh Shapiroir,
Starting point is 00:25:01 who you just mentioned, we're all over television today, saying, yes, he simply had a bad debate night. No, no, no, no, no. That was a bad debate night is when you get something wrong, maybe a couple of things wrong, and it's fixable. Joe Biden's mistakes were not fixable and are not fixable, because what was revealed to us in real time on live TV was how much and how far.
Starting point is 00:25:31 he's deteriorated. Two more quick points. Fact checkers are all over Donald Trump today. It won't matter. All that matters, the only thing that matters is that Biden came off as mentally unfit for office, and Donald Trump came off as relatively sane. And finally, Democrats now have a real Kamala Harris problem, because if Biden does not appear on the ballot, if he does drop out, out and she doesn't get the nomination, you're going to be, you're going to hear yelling and screaming all over the place about racism and sexism. And it's going to be coming from left-wing Democrats. What they usually aim at Republicans is going to be aimed at the Democratic Party by Democrats, karma. All right. In your opinion, who would be a more effective candidate right now
Starting point is 00:26:29 at this point of history, Biden or Harris? You know, why don't you ask me if I'd rather get poked in the eye with a fork or stepped on by Haystack's Calhoun? A wrestler, by the way. Nobody knows Haystack Calhoun except me and you and some old people. He was a wrestler. It was a killer, Kowalski. 601 pound wrestler.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Listen, from a Democratic point of view, that's not a flip a coin and they're both bad. Hads they lose, tails they lose. From Donald Trump's point of view, it might as well be Biden because people have seen something that they cannot unsee. All right. Now at top, I said, Tapper and Bash, the two moderators of CNN were ordered not to let their ideology show. I believe that is 100% true. How do you think they did? Yeah, I thought they asked reasonable questions, even good questions.
Starting point is 00:27:37 What I didn't like about it, and it's not their fault, it's the problem of the format. They asked questions, the candidates answered whatever they wanted to answer, ignoring the questions entirely at times. There was no fact checking, so anybody could say anything and get away with it. it and then they go on to the next question i don't fault them for that but it was not a good look okay if i had been the moderator of that i never would have agreed to those rules but i if i were forced by gunpoint to do it i would have said you didn't answer the question and i can't do anything about it that's what i would have said into the camera now i said i didn't think it was a bad debate even though all your points are valid i predicted they wouldn't
Starting point is 00:28:25 answer the questions. They didn't answer the questions. Trump took my advice. I told in a message of the day on Bill O'Reilly.com, the smartest thing Trump could do before he answered any question was to pose his own question, okay, which he did. And he corrected Biden, and he threw stuff at Biden back before he went into his answer. That was smart. I didn't mind the debate. It wasn't boring to me. And all, that's my, that's it for me. I don't want it to be boring. I can assess, all right? I'm smart enough to do that. You disagree, right? No, no, I disagree. You said you enjoyed the debate, if I recall correctly. Yes. Yeah, I think it was a very important debate, one that needed to be had and seen by the American people. But to enjoy something like that,
Starting point is 00:29:16 look, I'm not voting for Joe Biden. Let me make that clear if it needs to even be said. But I felt I almost felt bad for the guy. No, I said that's the top too. I didn't enjoy his suffering or his meltdown. That's not what I enjoy. You enjoyed the show. You enjoyed the show. I sat there and I wasn't bored like I am in 90% of the television news presentations.
Starting point is 00:29:44 That's a fair point. Right. That's all I want it. Because it's canned. And I know both Canada's and I know both candidates and I know. know what Trump did in four years, and I know what Biden did in three and a half, and there's no, there is no comparison there. Final question for you. I believe now what's going to happen is that the progressive left, which takes a huge hit tonight, last night, and I'll deal with
Starting point is 00:30:12 this in a final thought, are going to pull out every smear, everything they can, and directed at Trump in the next two and a half months. They're just going to try everything that. can. Whether it's true, whether it's not true, it is going to be unbelievable attacks on Trump. Do you see that coming? Yes, but not only from the hard left, from the progressive left, I saw it coming today on TV from Trump surrogates. They start out by saying he had a bad debate night and immediately, immediately transitioned to all the things they don't like about Donald Trump. You said Trump surrogates.
Starting point is 00:30:54 You mean Biden surrogates. You saw the Biden surrogates. I'm sorry. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Biden surrogates. Thank you. And they're mainstream Democrats. They're not the hard left.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Yeah, but they're not going to get into you had sex with a porn star while your wife was pregnant. I mean, you heard Biden say that. Right. I mean, that was. It was desperate. It was desperate. Right. That was demeaning that office to an extent.
Starting point is 00:31:22 I mean, you could argue Bill Clinton, but that's what you're going to see. Can I make one more point quickly? Sure, sure. You remember during Watergate Bill, when it was closing in on Nixon, Barry Goldwater, Senator Barry Goldwater from Arizona, along with the Republicans leaders of the House and Senate, went to the White House. They didn't tell Nixon he had to resign,
Starting point is 00:31:49 but they said you have no support in Congress, virtually no support for the impending impeachment proceeding. 24 hours later, Nixon resigned. I was trying to think of who has the gravitas, the stature in the Democratic Party, to go into the White House and say, Mr. President, it's time to leave. I could only come up with one name, Barack Obama. That's right. And he met with Biden today, I understand.
Starting point is 00:32:16 And that's the message that he delivered today. Barack Obama told him he got to get out. But you'll have to drag Jill Biden out, screaming and kicking. Totally agree. Totally one. She is the, if there's a villain in all of this. Oh, she's absolutely. All right, bernardgolberg.com.
Starting point is 00:32:36 I am demanding that you go to Goldberg's website. Thank you, Bill. But I have no enforcement capability, Bernie. I can demand, but everyone will, they can give me the middle face. I want people to fear what will happen to them if they don't follow your suggestion. Yeah, no, but I have no enforcement power at all. All right, thanks, Bernie. Very good discussion.
Starting point is 00:33:01 We appreciate it. So on its object of Kamala Harris, here's what she said after the debate. Go. First of all, what we saw tonight is the president making a very clear contrast with Donald Trump on all of the issues that matter to the American people. Yes, there was a slow start, but it was a strong feeling. finish. And what became very clear through the course of the night is that Joe Biden is fighting on behalf of the American people, on substance, on policy, on performance. Joe Biden is
Starting point is 00:33:32 extraordinarily strong. Yeah, sure he is. I mean, it's just like, you just have to close the door. Get off my lawn. It is Saturday night, East Coast, 9.30 p.m. as I report, you. Another bad day for America. And there's nothing else you can say about it. This is a situation that has happened before in our history. Everybody knows that. Very similar, by the way, to what happened to Teddy Roosevelt in 1912 when he was giving a speech and somebody walked up and shot him in the chest. The speech paperwork was inside his jacket, saved his life. And Teddy, when he on and completed the speech. And it was the same kind of madness that we are experiencing now more than 100 years later. And it's never going to stop. So when you hear people in
Starting point is 00:34:33 the subsequent day say, oh, this or that, a rifle is, or gun, that, it's never going to stop. Hators are haters. They'll find a way to commit violence. And the government can't control it. And that's the truth. Now, the logistics of it all, As we are in airtime, the would-be assassin has been shot to death by the Secret Service. He was outside the perimeter of the rally. He was on a building. And apparently some people saw him climb up to the top of that building with a rifle and tried to get the attention of police, but were unsuccessful.
Starting point is 00:35:09 That will all be investigated in subsequent days, as will, who the guy was and whether he had any help. And it'll be fascinating to find out who the would have. be assassin, actually was, and if there was anyone else involved. Secret Service did what it could do. I do believe that there's going to be scrutiny on the service for not making sure that the buildings surrounding the site were clean. But again, that's not vital tonight. All of those things will reveal themselves.
Starting point is 00:35:38 What is important is a reaction of Donald Trump, President Biden, President Obama, and the American people. So we'll start with Mr. Trump. And you saw the blood on his ear a couple of inches from death, headshot. He said from the hospital on Truth Social, quote, I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement for the rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally was killed,
Starting point is 00:36:15 also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It's incredible that such an act can take place in our country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound. Shots and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding to play, so I realized then what was happening. God bless America.
Starting point is 00:36:45 A factual statement. All right, no rancor. I believe that Donald Trump, as anybody would be, is angry and very, very sad. And there may be another wounded civilian as well. We're trying to get the details on that. So the first one to react on the Democratic side was President, former President Obama. He beat President Biden to the punch, as they say, in a cliche. day. Somebody went on TV, and he issued a statement that, you know, was okay. Nothing wrong with it at all.
Starting point is 00:37:22 But he should have issued it sooner. And I actually tweeted that. You can read all my tweets, by the way, on bill o'Reilly.com. But I'm not criticizing Mr. Biden tonight because he did one very noble thing. He said, I want to call Donald Trump. I have tried to call him. And obviously, we understand why Mr. Trump can't take a phone call. Can you understand that? He seems get his ear stitched up or whatever. But Obama reiterated, I'm sorry, Biden reiterated twice that he wants to talk to Donald Trump. And I hope that happens.
Starting point is 00:37:56 All Americans should hope that happens. The two men talk in a civil way and say, look, let's stop all the rancourt, let's just run on our records and our vision. And stop this. Now, in times like these, Americans, and I mean, I can't tell you how many emails and texts I get from family and friends and from everybody.
Starting point is 00:38:17 It's always the same theme that everybody's just sad, not angry so much, but sad. There are people who are angry, and I understand both emotions. But it's just like, you know, we're a great country. Why does it keep happening? Well, there's something that all of us can do. And that's my theme tonight, and it will be all of next week. We've got to stop the hate brigades on television. and imprint to a lesser extent.
Starting point is 00:38:46 We've got to stop these people. And you and I can do it. We can stop the hate brigades. Now, who are there? And I'm going to name some of them in a moment. They're the people that throw out on both sides, but primarily on the left. The stack is about six to one, in terms
Starting point is 00:39:07 like Nazi, fascist, racist, anti-democracy, routinely throw it out, whipping up emotions against the individual they are targeting. That is a hate brigade. These people, some of them, are paid by big corporations to hate. Now, I've been doing commentary for 27 years. I don't do hate. I do criticism. I try not to do, I had Dominum, very, very rarely will I bring that argument in, because my arguments are usually fact-based are stronger than the arguments against me. I win the debate, almost 99% of the time. As you know, you guys have watched me for a while.
Starting point is 00:39:58 But the haters go on, and they try to destroy the opposition. All the MAGA people are idiots. All right? They're beneath contempt. If you like Trump, I'm not talking to you. You can't work in Hollywood if you like Trump. These are the haters. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to turn into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics.
Starting point is 00:40:23 President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here to cover it from all sides, especially on the topics the mainstream media won't. So if you're a political junkie on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home, new episodes of the Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day. Make sure you tune in. You can find us at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, I'm Caitlin Becker, the host of the New York Postcast, and I've got exactly what you need to start your weekdays. Every morning, I'll bring you the stories that matter, plus the news people actually talk about, the juicy details in the worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post wrapped up in one snappy show.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast. Listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Okay, so let's get specific. MSNBC is the most hateful network in the history of the United States. It is run by Comcast, NBC News. Comcast is a very profitable corporation out of Philadelphia. Its CEO is a guy named Brian Roberts, who I hear is a decent man. But Mr. Roberts allows hatred every single day, pays for it on MSNBC.
Starting point is 00:41:46 The primary offenders on that network are a woman named Joy Reed, who is branding people racist almost every hour on the hour, in my opinion. Lawrence O'Donnell, for years, brings a level of scorn to, anyone he disagrees with politically. The horrible person, in my opinion. And there are others, too. But those two consistently do it. Reed and O'Donnell.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Now, Brian Roberts is responsible for that. Not Reed and O'Donnell. They're making big money doing it. Selling that hate. Comcast writing a check. How about ABC News? Their nightly news is responsible. Good Morning America, responsible.
Starting point is 00:42:46 How about the view? A lot of hate. And the chief cheerleader of that hate is Joy Behar. And she has been doing this for decades. Decades. And she gets a check every week from Disney, which is run by a man named Bob Iger. Okay?
Starting point is 00:43:13 Iger is apparently okay with Joy, uh, Behar, who's been there forever. Hating, hating, hating, hating, hating. Am I wrong? Now we go over to CNN. Two names. Jim Acosta. Is there anyone who hates Donald Trump more than this individual? On and on and on and on.
Starting point is 00:43:44 They had to move him out of the White House because he was so hateful and put him on a weekend. A woman named Abby Phillip, this Philip's specialty is branding people racist. She did it to me, just like Joy Reed. That's her game. We disagree with you, you're racist. Okay? CNN has a new CEO, an Englishman named Mark Thompson.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Now, CNN's brand is ruined. Okay, Mr. Thompson is not in there to save it. He just laid off 100 more people. They're not coming back. And the reason they're coming back is because they can't out-hate MSNBC. So the far-left loons who want this stuff, they go to MSNBC because MSNBC is more hateful than CNN. So CNN's left with no one.
Starting point is 00:44:44 And that's why I've never seen lower numbers. It's just incredible what's happening over there. How about Lynn Cheney? when Cheney about as hateful a person as you could possibly get the voters of Wyoming threw her out three to one how about Jennifer Rubin you know this woman
Starting point is 00:45:13 Washington Post she's a pundit on you don't get more hateful than that woman and I had my go around just Google Bill O'Reilly Jennifer Rubin you'll see what she's guy. Because I gave her a chance to redeem herself. Okay. So what everybody should do is write letters to the CEOs of any organization that you find hate on. And there's right-wing hate, and on Monday on the NOSPN News, I'll run a montage
Starting point is 00:45:49 of hatred on the right. I'm going to do it. Because it's not as common as what's on the left, but it's there. Vitriolic, we want to destroy you. But tonight, because Donald Trump came within an inch of losing his life, we're concentrating on the Trump haters. Roll the tape. Not only are they planning on a civil war, if they have to do that, but he's spelling it out.
Starting point is 00:46:24 specifically how and what they're going to do and how he's going to get revenge, how he's going to attack his enemies, all of these things. And when he talks about race, we know, and I'm going to tell you again today, Donald Trump is a pure racist. And I am worried that the attack is going to be on people of color. So maybe he didn't read Mienkopf, but he kept a collection of Hitler's speeches by by his bed according to his first wife in a vanity fair article and you can hear it in his words you can see it at his rallies that's exactly the direction he's going he's going doubling tripling down on fascist hitler like rhetoric and i guess i'll just ask you from somebody who's sitting outside of the media window what is it going to take to get to
Starting point is 00:47:22 the media to take seriously the fact that Donald Trump is acting like a Nazi, talking like a Nazi, and now posting like a Nazi. So is there any doubt why the level of hatred against Donald Trump and Joe Biden? The level of hatred against Joe Biden is high and Barack Obama. but with Trump it's on steroids another cliche but it is day in and day out and day out those people I've known Trump I wrote a book on the United States of Trump I've known him for 35 years he's not a Nazi he's not a racist his four years in office did more economic good for black Americans than any president in our lifetime
Starting point is 00:48:18 And that includes Lyndon Johnson, with real wages going up for African Americans. I mean, because I know so much, because I know most of these people, and I'm not in the business to put them out of business, I'm not saying pull them off the air, I'm saying to the CEOs, you better tell them to knock off the hate. I'm not organized on boycott. I'm not doing any of that. I'm reporting the truth to you.
Starting point is 00:48:59 On why this happens. Once the level of hate, and you can see it in history, you can see it. Violence follows hatred. And we have now, In our country, Comcast, Disney, CNN, and many others, paying for hatred. Come on. You can oppose Donald Trump just on facts. You don't need to call him a racist or a Nazi.
Starting point is 00:49:41 You don't need to say that stuff that he's going to put everybody in jail and be a dictator and all that. Kamala Harris the other day. Oh, he says he's going to be a dictator on day one. This is Kamala Harris, the vice president. That's not what he said, lady. Okay? He said he's going to be a dictator in taking out the executive orders that Joe Biden signed
Starting point is 00:50:07 that Trump believes are harming the American people. And he has a perfect constitutional right to do that. Kamala Harris, even though you don't know what the Constitution says. Now, I'm not being hateful toward Kamala Harris, I'm stating a fact. Kamala Harris is going to publicly say that Trump wants to be a dictator on day one. She either doesn't understand or doesn't care about why Trump said what he said, or it's too dumb to know what the situation really is. That's it.
Starting point is 00:50:38 There's no other ground. Now, I'm going to opt for it doesn't care. He doesn't care what she says. So anyway, something good may come out of this. I'm going to wrap it up. Something good might come out of this. The hate brigade has to go. And millions of American people are going to have to mobilize
Starting point is 00:51:03 against the corporations that are paying for the hatred. It's as simple as that. And I'm going to lead it. I'm going to lead the brigades. All right? the good brigades against the hate brigades. So on Monday, we're going to have a, you know, obviously we'll know a lot more about the attempted assassination.
Starting point is 00:51:27 We'll know a lot more about reaction to it. We'll have all that. And as I said, we'll have a montage of haters on the right that want Joe Biden destroy it. They want them out anyway. Put them in a coffin. Okay? But we are going to continue to say, here are the addresses.
Starting point is 00:51:50 Here's how you do it. I'm going to give you all that item for you. You can easily get it on the Internet. And if millions of Americans start to rally around the hate brigades and say, no, enough, we want differences of opinion. We want robust debate. That is healthy and good. But if you're going to pay for hatred, you're going to have to pay a price with we,
Starting point is 00:52:13 the decent American public. Is that too much to ask? Am I doing the wrong thing? Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name in town. All right, that is our special report. I'm sorry I had to bring it to you under these circumstances. We are going to be ahead of the game.
Starting point is 00:52:32 We are going to have more information than anyone else, just like we have had more information about Joe Biden than anybody else. Thank you for always supporting Bill O'Reilly.com. We will see you on Monday. Special edition of the NoSpin News Sunday, I think it's July 21st, right? I've got a delirious here. So I'm on a beach, 2.30, 245, boom, this goes blowing up. You know, I like the old days when you didn't have this to the beach.
Starting point is 00:53:07 And I'm looking down and I'm going, what's this? And I knew what it was. I knew. So President Biden announced in the middle of a Sunday, strange, that he's not going to run for re-election. Interestingly enough, and then calls, attacks poured into me from all over the world, and a Russian acquaintance of mine, all right, said, we had the news in Russia.
Starting point is 00:53:37 The Russian media reported it before the American media. Now, I can't verify that, all right? But I went, oh, it's not out of question because people knew, all right? So I wrote a column that columns on the website, Bill O'Reilly.com, and I posted a column seven hours before Joe Biden quit, and it basically says Joe Biden is through, all right? This is the end. I quoted the doors. I hope you read the column because people now are looking at me strangely.
Starting point is 00:54:12 They're going, uh-oh, is this Karnak, the magnificent, and old Johnny Carson thing. And I'm going to explain how I knew all of this was going to come down and our reporting verifies it. All right. So it's not that I'm exaggerating or doing anything like that. We can verify everything to say. So let's walk through it. Okay. So President Biden's been in the federal government for 52 years.
Starting point is 00:54:38 He's 81 years old. He has never really been in charge at the White House, as we have extensively reported. It has been the people around him that run the government, and they are progressive people, very, very far-left people. You do not know their names. Even though I've reported their names five, ten times to you, you can look it up on bill o'Reilly.com. It's a tight cabal of people that opened the border, that ignited inflation. Biden himself is just a figurehead. Yeah, he went to a few meetings.
Starting point is 00:55:08 but he never really had grasp of the executive branch. And the best assessment of that recently is he has not even fired or suspended that of the Secret Service, who will have to testify tomorrow. We're all over that. Okay, that woman should be suspended like that after President Trump was shot eight days ago. It's been quite a series of eight days, has it not? I mean, you live in history here. All right, anyway. So Biden calls it quits. Why? Did anybody tell him, anybody force him? No. If you go back to the debate, I wrote a column after the debate that predicted this was going to happen a little bit quicker than it did. I didn't factor in Jill Biden. Jill Biden, she, her opposition to her husband resigning, kept this going for longer than it would ordinarily have.
Starting point is 00:56:04 You have a disastrous performance like the debate, you go, because you know that Americans see that, and you're not going to be able to overcome that. But Jill Biden, absolutely, and she has 100% control over her husband. 100%. No one gets to Joe Biden without Jill Biden being there. And I mean, talking calls, texts, no one. And Jill Biden told the White House staff, absolutely not. We're not going.
Starting point is 00:56:32 We're running against Trump. blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but you'll notice in the last five days, you haven't heard anything for Jill Biden. So what happened? Okay. The polling was slipping fast. Just this morning, a Detroit news poll out of Michigan, obviously, had Biden down by seven against Trump in the swing state of Michigan.
Starting point is 00:57:03 And I can give you, you can just go to real clear politics.com, and you look at all the swing states are all in the Trump camp, Virginia, and places like that. So the Democratic machine, the people who do crunch the numbers, they knew that the slide was continuing. And then after President Trump got shot, he got a sympathy vote. And then the Republican convention was very successful. united 90% of republicans are united according to polls behind trump there's no way Biden could beat him there's no way and we'll do the numbers for you tomorrow we'll crunch him but this just couldn't do it unless Trump does something you know in the sense of a debate debacle he'd have to do something at that level okay so the numbers people are basically coming in and then Obama and George Clooney
Starting point is 00:58:00 and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Chu. You know, I call them the liberal Mousketeers. They're all getting up on by. You got to go. You've got to go. You've got to go. All right. Who could stand up to that?
Starting point is 00:58:11 Nobody. Nobody could stand up. And if you don't believe me, when my book, Confronting the Presidents comes out, you'll see what happened on Lyndon Johnson. He booted the Vietnam War. Totally booted it, Johnson. And they came to him, and they said, you can't. You know, you're going to lose.
Starting point is 00:58:29 we got to get Bobby Kennedy in here before Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in 68 all right and LBJ resigned just like Biden same exact thing you cannot go up
Starting point is 00:58:43 against your own party you can't that's why Biden had to quit it was nobody you you saw a few people on television going hang gang gang gang you know the guy in South Carolina and Claiborne
Starting point is 00:58:57 it's ridiculous It was ridiculous. MSNBC absurd, absurd, what they were doing. And I went up against some commentators. You saw it. I hope. And they're telling me, oh, no, it's all going to happen. You don't, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:14 Okay, fine. I mean, we're in a no-glot zone tonight, so I'm not going to be trying to hammer these people, but you know what I'm talking about. Okay, so Biden knew on Friday, all right, two days ago. that it was over. Kamala knew a week before that, Kamala's statement,
Starting point is 00:59:35 and I'll read it to you in a moment, Kamala's statement was written about a week ago because Kamala Harris, those people knew that Biden was not going to stay in. So they wrote the statement so they'd have it.
Starting point is 00:59:49 Joe Biden himself and Jill, wherever Jill is, I don't even know who she is. I guess she's in Delaware, at the Beach House, but you haven't seen her. But they knew Friday, and they were trying to figure out, all right, maybe a miracle will happen, maybe Trump will drop dead, you know, maybe, and then it was obvious nothing was going to happen, because over the weekend, polling came in a terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible. So today, in the middle of the day, very, very unusual. On a Sunday, very unusual, okay? They drop it. They usually do it.
Starting point is 01:00:28 If they don't want you to hear about it, they do on Friday. They want you to hear about it. They do it on Monday morning. But Friday afternoon, Sunday afternoon. So not only is Biden say, I'm not going to run again, but a little while later, and he did that on X. He didn't make a formal statement. You know, they put out a thing on X, which must make Yilan Maas very happy. And about 30 minutes after the initial statement, he comes out with another statement, President Biden does.
Starting point is 01:01:01 I want Kamala to be my replacement. Not a surprise. Not a surprise, all right? Because the money that the Democrats have raised about $250 million can't go to anybody but Kamala. And they need that money, not only for TV ads and radio ads, but they need to set up offices. They need to do a whole lot of stuff. So somebody coming in from the outside to challenge Kamala, that's not going to happen. Now, the media will tell you the exact opposite, but if you want to read, look, if you're still watching cable news for information, I feel sorry for you.
Starting point is 01:01:42 If you're watching it for entertainment, all right, I understand. But if you're watching the network and the cable news on television for information, I'll get to that in a moment. So, Biden says, I'm throwing my endorsement to Kamala. That's a smart move in the Democratic Party. They don't want to go to Chicago on August 19th with an open convention. It would be a disaster for them to do that. Because remember, an open convention means everybody in the Democratic Party
Starting point is 01:02:16 slinging mud at everybody else. Outside the convention, you're going to have the anarchists and force. You're going to have about 5,000 of them. These are the, we hate Israel people, we hate Jews, we hate America, we hate everybody. Okay? They're going to be there in Chicago. And in Chicago, police cannot control them. Chicago police can't control certain neighborhoods in Chicago.
Starting point is 01:02:40 You think they're going to control 500, 5,000 anarchists? And these plans are already made. They're getting there, and they're going to cause trouble. So you're going to have trouble on the street, then you have trouble inside, the Democratic Convention? No. Not happening. All right. So that's the big picture. Everybody has it. Bill at bill o'Reilly.com tomorrow. You know, I'll answer the mail, answer your questions, do whatever you want me to do. You can reach me, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name and town. All right. So Donald Trump issues a statement on truth social about the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Quote, Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for president. It's certainly not fit to serve. was. He only attained a position present by lies, fake news, and not leaving his basement. All those around him, including his doctrine, the media knew that he wasn't capable of being present and he wasn't. And now, look what he's done to our country with millions of people coming across the border, totally unchecked and unvetted, many from prisons, mental institutions, record numbers of terrorists. We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remanated damage he has done very quickly, make America great again. Donald Trump, July 21st. So then some other Republicans picked up on this and said, oh, Biden should not only not run for a president, but resign the office of the presidency.
Starting point is 01:04:07 I think Senator Vance was in that pool. That's not really smart. Okay? Because you don't want to give the vice president the Oval Office for four months. why would you want to do that okay that's not smart i'm not i'm not i'll advise anybody about anything you want to ask me a question i'll answer i don't care if you're republican democrat i don't care what you i'll answer honestly but these people going hey john by you should do you put comela harris in that oval office now that's what you want to do
Starting point is 01:04:45 Kamala Harris is way further left than Joe Biden but she's not going to show it now Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are thrilled about the events today you have not even seen a leftist like you will see for Kamala Harris if she wins a presidency it is beyond the pale how left wing she is
Starting point is 01:05:15 Now, Biden did what the progressives told him to do. He did. It was a lot of damage. Real wages turned around, you know, it was terrible what has happened because of the progressive policies. Common would be 10 times worse. Okay, so here's what Kamala said. She issued a statement. I said it was written way before today.
Starting point is 01:05:38 I'm honored to have the president's adornment, and my intention is to earn and win the nomination. Over the last year, I've traveled across the country talking with the Americans about the clear choice, this momentous election. That is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead. I'll do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party, unite our nation, feet Donald Trump, and his extreme project 2025 agenda. Love that. We have 107 days to election day.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Together we will fight. And together we will win. So they're going to try to pin this Heritage Foundation, 2025 agenda around Trump's neck. It used to be the MAGA now is it going to be that. Okay. So, what we have now is fairly predictable. Trump against Kamala. The dynamic changes a little bit because Kamala has to pick a VP.
Starting point is 01:06:37 And it's an important pick for her. She can't pick another woman. can't have two women run together. She can't pick another person of color. Got to pay a white man. And Democrats and the progressors don't like that,
Starting point is 01:06:54 but they have to do it. Not only have to pick a white man, but they have to pick someone who is moderate, not a progressive. So they can sell that. Kamala's really not that far left. Two names I'm going to throw out.
Starting point is 01:07:09 And I don't have any inside info on this. but my gut tells me these guys are going to be considered. Josh Shapiro, governor of Pennsylvania, Dems Need Pennsylvania. He's a pretty efficient governor. And Andrew Brecher of Kentucky, he's a Democratic governor in a sharply Republican state, very skilled politician. Keep your eyes on those two guys. But I don't know. I'm not reporting that now.
Starting point is 01:07:37 I will have it down the lane. Now, I have, as I mentioned, since November 6th of last year, 2003, told you my audience, and that's my whole life is dedicated to giving you solid information so you can protect yourself and prosper in life. That's why I'm here. I don't need the money. Thank God. I'm here for that one reason.
Starting point is 01:08:05 So I predicted this, rule of tape. But Biden, I don't think he's going to make it. Now, I have predicted and I hold to this prediction that Biden is not going to make it. He's not going to be on the ballot, that the convention in Chicago, in the summer. Now, I told you, I didn't think Joe Biden was going to be on the ballot a year ago. his position in one year has deteriorated dramatically as everybody knows if you follow the polls if you follow any kind of information flow so i was correct about that and his own party doesn't want him to run as the sienna poll in new york shows they don't want him to run
Starting point is 01:08:51 something's going to happen but i'm not sure it's going to be Biden but i know i can feel it i can feel something's coming and that something was the debate meltdown and then the attempt of Donald Trump and now the resignation of Joe Biden so how do I know all this you ask politics isn't that complicated it's only about one thing power when you read confronting the presidents which will be out on September 10th the book is all all 45 men, and whether they hurt or help the country. And some of it is going to really stun you what they really did. But our system is fairly simple.
Starting point is 01:09:44 The federal government is run like a corporation. That's number one. But instead of making money, that's what the corporations want to do, the federal government seeks power. Once a CEO or a president or a senator or whatever it may be starts to lose power in the corporation or in the federal government, they're doomed unless they can make some kind of stunning comeback, right, like Trump has done. Trump has made a stunning comeback. Nobody will admit that, but he has. He united that convention. 90% of Republicans are behind him.
Starting point is 01:10:29 That's a big comeback for Trump. So Biden, in the Democratic corporation, lost an enormous amount of power and was up against a guy who had momentum. Now, I saw that this time last year, 23, because of the high prices for everything, the open border madness, the Ukraine war, the Iranian craziness, the Chinese causing trouble in the Pacific, everywhere.
Starting point is 01:11:08 Biden was losing power. Everywhere. So I've been doing this 50 years. When I see that, I know the person in charge is gone. It's like a baseball or football manager or coach. The team loses consistently, they're gone. It's as simple as that. There's no more to it than that. I saw Joe Biden failing in the Oval Office.
Starting point is 01:11:42 And might have been because of his mental acuity. Might have been he wasn't interested. I've never seen the man get passionate about a problem. He doesn't care that the unborn millions are being aborted, even though he's supposed to be a Catholic. He doesn't care. He doesn't care about drug overdose deaths coming through that open border, all those narcotics. He doesn't care. He doesn't care that entire communities have been uprooted by illegal immigration and states are being bankrupted by it.
Starting point is 01:12:17 He doesn't care. Now, maybe that's because he's not mentally up to care. I don't know, and I don't care. I don't care. My job is to tell you who's hurting you, and Joe Biden is hurting you. Now, for the next four months, you're not even going to see the guy. He'll eat his ice cream cones. He'll take naps.
Starting point is 01:12:42 You won't even see him. Kamala. And believe me, what the media is going to do, Kamala's going to be the greatest leader since Abraham Lincoln. because the corporate media is allied with the Democratic Party. You're going to see this tremendous surge in the comments so good, so good, so smart. And that evil Trump, she's got to be the one. Now tomorrow on the NOSPA News, we are going to analyze Vice President Harris in a fact-based way.
Starting point is 01:13:14 All right. I want to say anything else here. I think I've hit all the main points. One more point. So when I got off the beach and I got into my house, I put on the news media, TV news media. And there they all were called in on a Sunday. And they had to fill hours a time.
Starting point is 01:13:42 And they didn't know what to say. And I switched around. We got my thumb, bup, blah, blah, but none of them knew what to say. After they got by the facts, that Biden's not going to run again, and Kamala is probably going to get it. And Trump was being Trump, they don't know. They didn't give you what I just gave you. Because they don't know.
Starting point is 01:14:06 They don't know. They're there, but they don't know. To watch the full episodes of the No Spin News, visit Bill O'Reilly.com and sign up to become a premium or concierge member. That's Bill O'Reilly.com. Sign up and start watching today.
