You're listening to the NoSpin News, Talking Points Edition.
So the Talking Points this evening is President Trump's moderation over the weekend.
Okay.
Interesting.
So there's four areas, the first are on tariffs.
And I had always said when the tariffs took place that we would not know if they were successful
until the end of the year.
Well, the end of the year is about here.
They have been successful in raising money for America.
They have not been successful in driving down prices.
So it's a split decision.
And the prices are what's going to hold up the Trump administration for the next 12 months.
You've got to get them down to win them in terms.
Okay.
So over the weekend, President Trump said he's going to drop tariffs on beef, coffee, tropical fruit,
bananas, avocados, coconuts, pineapples, oranges, tomatoes, tomatoes, peppers, limes, vanilla beans, mangoes,
fertilizers, and other stuff.
This is an attempt to drive grocery store prices down.
Now I learned over the weekend that the reason that beef steak and ground beef is so high is
because we used to buy a lot of Mexican meat.
But we can't now because there's some kind of parasite thing down there.
And the United States Agricultural Division says they can't import Mexican beef.
Right away, the price of beef goes up.
It's all about supply and demand, as you don't.
Okay?
I didn't know that.
But some hideous bug or something that is infected, the cattle in Mexico, and we can't buy that cattle.
Boom, our prices for beef go up.
That's what that Argentinian thing was all about.
So now we're going to buy beef from Argentina.
I don't know, it might be too late on the beef front.
The others, I think, will fall pretty fast.
Okay?
Okay. So I can afford anything I want to eat. I'm lucky, fortunate, and I know it. But I'm not eating a lot of steak and ground beef. You know, I'm doing it to do my part to drive prices down. Oh, you're chicken, fish, shellfish, shrimp, you know, that kind of thing. But I can't remember the last time I ordered a $75 steak in a restaurant.
No. And again, I can afford it, but if everybody thought the way that I did, then meat
and meat prices would not be nearly as high. So that's just me. I mean, that's what I do.
All right. So that's a change. The tariffs are being lifted to try to get American food prices
down. Second, Mamdani. So you remember that President Trump called him a communist,
and he was going to withhold all federal funds from New York and drive this guy nuts.
That was on November 3rd Truth Social.
Well, over the weekend, he said, well, I'm going to work at a meeting with Mam Dani.
Mammie wants to meet with Trump.
Of course he would.
Billions of dollars of federal money flows into New York City.
So there'll probably be a meeting.
Here's what the president said, quote, the mayor of New York,
would like to meet with us, we'll work something out.
He'll come to Washington.
We want to see everything work out well for New York in moderation, right?
So Mamdani will probably get his meeting in here.
This was a surprise, not that wasn't surprising to me.
But this one was, Maduro, the dictator, heinous dictator, awful,
in Venezuela. So, as you know, the United States moving the USS Ford aircraft carrier down there
and other ships, saber-rattling about Maduro. Well, now the president is saying he'd consider
talks with Maduro. Maduro's desperate. Now, he knows his life is like this. So Maduro
all we'll have to talk to him.
And I don't think there's going to be a lot of moderation here.
I think President Trump will say, look, time to get out, Nick.
We'll let you go where you want, but you're not going to be there much longer.
Go the hard way or the easy way.
That's probably what that conversation is going to be.
Okay.
I'm guessing.
Don't have any direct knowledge, but I know.
No President Trump, as well as anybody knows him, and I would think that would be the message.
But he won't deliver that message.
The president won't until he sees Maduro face to face.
That's not going to be a public thing.
Finally, Epstein in this situation, the president was against.
When I talked to him on St. Patrick's Day of this year, he wasn't against releasing the data from Epstein that the Department of Justice has.
because we talked about it, that he was against releasing it.
Now he's not against releasing it again, but who knows tomorrow?
This changes back and forth.
But here's what you need to know.
President Trump knows exactly what the DOJ has.
Exactly.
I understand there are a few references to him in the Epstein data.
But they're not anything that would be.
be embarrassing or bad. And this is the problem that Epstein knew thousands of people and associated
at a very high level with people in New York City. If you just dump the data, then all of those
names will be out there, and then people who don't like those names will try to hurt other people,
families too. That's what I told President Trump. If it's vetted,
For example, Epstein flew down to the Virgin Islands where he owned property.
There's a manifest that has to be filed.
If your name's on the manifest, that comes out.
Justice Department got to put it out.
That's vetted information.
You're on a plane with Epstein.
I have no compunction about that.
And then if the press asks you why you're on a plane, you got to tell them.
Okay?
But if you're just in a meeting with Epstein and five, seven other guys or gals and you don't have anything to do with them, it was a business meeting of some kind, why should your name be put in that poison ground?
That's what I told Cuomo on Wednesday.
You might remember that.
Chris Cuomo on a news station, I said, look, you know, you can use this stuff to smear people to really hurt them.
Cuomo goes, I don't care.
I want to see it.
And I said, well, that's not right.
And he goes, no, let the people decide.
How can the people decide?
We don't have investigative abilities or subpoena and superior privileges.
We don't know.
All we know is what's there.
We can't put it into context.
And the Justice Department is not going to get down a thousand names and explain every one of them
because they don't even know half them.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.
national debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.
And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.

we'd love to talk business see what I mean so this thing is just it's out of control now
it'll get more out of control and we'll report on it honestly so anyway those are the
four moderations over the weekend tonight the president addresses McDonald's owners
operators and suppliers in Washington he's got to talk
about beef, right? Donald lives and dies off beef. So that's what's going on tonight.
You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News. The talking points memo is about the
Don Row Doctrine. So everybody knows about the Monroe Doctrine, 1823, President James Monroe,
basically saying to all the European powers, hey, the Western Hemisphere is our, the United
States of America's sphere of
influence, you stay out. James Monroe, not particularly a macho man, not particularly a strong
president, but here he dug in because they, uh, in Washington, D.C. didn't want Britain coming
back or France or Spain or Portugal or Holland or whoever setting up shop here. All right.
Now, they couldn't prevent it totally because there were colonies.
You know, in South America, everybody, every country speaks Spanish except Portugal, except Brazil.
They speak Portuguese.
Why? Because Portugal ran Brazil.
And all the other South American countries are run by Spain.
And that's where the language difference comes.
So Monroe basically said, hold it.
We're going to take unilateral action if you get out of the line.
Now, we have a lot of countries in this eminacy are getting out of line.
Enter Donald Trump with the Don Roe Doctrine.
Very serious.
Okay.
There are four nations that are deeply involved in the drug trafficking.
They are, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador.
And they are killing those nations, millions of people all over the world, and hundreds of thousands here in America over the last five years.
So I'll give you the stats in a moment.
So the President of the United States has moved the USS Gerald Ford, our largest strike carrier, to the Caribbean.
And he has sent with that aircraft carrier eight Navy surface ships.
okay, 15,000 American troops
and the Air Force base at Puerto Rico
flying around the clock
USF 35 stealth bombers
who's a serious business
and he sent in a message to all four of those countries
that are not going off
now in two of the countries Venezuela and Maduro
and Colombia
has got a left-wing president
the U.S. Intel says
those leaders are trafficking drugs.
They're making money trafficking drugs.
Okay?
There's not that accusation against Shinebaum in Mexico
or Obedoer before her,
although Obedoer, I'm telling you, shaky.
But Shinebaum, there isn't not that accusation,
but she will not stand up to the cartels,
which control more than a third of the country.
Outright control it.
So there's no police, no military, it's cartels.
Shinebaugh does nothing.
She's afraid for her own personal safety.
If I were her, I'd resign and I'd move someplace else
because you shouldn't be the president of a country
if you're afraid of the criminal element, come on.
So it's up to the United States to do something about it,
but many Americans don't want to.
want to. President Biden had no interest at all in this. None. He helped the drug cartels. He opened
the border so they can make more money with the flood of narcotics coming in here, including
fentanyl. But I didn't care. I didn't care what they did. They ran wild for four years.
Trump cares. And I talked about this with the president one-on-one in a dinner in his first term.
And I said, the only way you're going to stop this is using the U.S.
military. So President Trump designated the drug cartels as terrorists. That means he doesn't have to
get congressional approval to take military action against them. And so far, 22 vessels have been
blown out of the Caribbean Sea in the Pacific. 83 people at least did. Democratic Party
doesn't like it. Rand Paul, a Republican, senator from Kentucky, doesn't like it. They want to due process.
Well, it's impossible.
Due process doesn't work.
It never works when you have international smuggling operations.
So you either want to solve the problem or you don't is only one way to solve it.
And that is to eliminate the terrorists who are running the cartels.
And that's what is happening.
Now, Americans are very, very slow to catch on.
If you go out today after watching this broadcast and you say,
Hey, what about the Don Roe Doctrine?
Do you know what's going on?
What?
What?
Because the networks and the cable are too busy reporting about Epstein, what might be there?
Oh, yeah.
No.
Hey, we're setting ourselves up for a military conflict here.
Nah.
Come on.
We got to get Epstein.
So the cartels in Mexico, they kill hundreds of thousands.
of people down there.
And nobody is safe.
They'll kill a governor and the mayor and the journalists and everybody.
And the judges can't sentence them because they'll get killed.
And not only the cartels kill those people, they kill their families.
Come on.
By the end of 2003 in Venezuela,
the blood was flowing because Maduro was, according to U.S. Intel, working with the drug cartels.
It was murder after murder after murder, and none of them solved.
And the same thing in Colombia.
Colombia, a country on the Caribbean Sea, all right, and then it does have Pacific port,
they get $15 billion, $15 billion a year they make from drug trafficking.
Colombia. Ecuador is the highest murder rate in the Western Hemisphere. Do you know that?
The once peaceful country, Galapagos, right off Guayaquil, not now murder or everywhere.
Okay. So that's where we are. And in America itself, we Americans spend more than a hundred billion dollars a year on illegal narcotics, 100 billion.
We are the problem.
We are enriching the cartels.
500,000 Americans at least have died from drug overdoses in the past five years.
Half a million.
Okay?
And still, nothing being done about it.
Some dealers are put in jail.
Some.
Not here in New York City.
You can sell heroin on the street.
You won't get anything.
Drug addicts run wild.
They sit there and inject themselves in front of schoolchildren.
They steal, they shoplift, they prostitute themselves.
They're homeless.
Most of the homeless are drug addicted.
They ruin neighborhoods.
They pollute the environment.
Nothing happens to them.
Nothing.
It used to be America would sanction those drug addicts.

Available wherever you get your podcasts.
The fight back starts here.
And yes, bring the popcorn.
Progressive left, no, no.
It's a disease.
No, treatment.
Most of the drug addicts, according to every study, don't want treatment.
They want to get high.
They want to live their lives in a state of inebriation.
That's what they want.
And if they have to steal, they'll steal.
Child abuse and neglect, because many of these drug addicts have children, off the chart.
The state do anything once in a while to take the kids away, and then where do the kids go?
some lousy foster home, because the parents are high, it just drives me nuts, okay, because this country
is responsible for all it is horror. And if you're buying drugs, you are helping a cartel.
Okay? So I expect Trump to continue to crack down. He's got three years.
years left. He hates this stuff because his brother died of alcoholism. And I've had addiction
and alcoholism in my family as well. And I hate this stuff. And I'm glad the president
listened to me. When I had that conversation with him, what was it, six years ago,
to one way, only way. And now it's happening. And that's a memo.
You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News. So the Prime Minister's
Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman comes to the USA, big dog and pony show, sorry about the
cliche and Salman and Trump are buddies. Salman's investing a trillion dollars into the USA. So he says,
all right, so they go all over what they're going to do, and we'll get into that in a moment,
but they're having a good time. Big dinner.
last night. And today, it carried over to today. This is big because Saudi Arabia is extremely
wealthy, can help the USA economically, can help the USA with Putin and Iran. So there are our
pals now. Under Biden, they were not our pals, which is a better situation. I think you know.
So there is President Trump, most powerful man in the world, sitting next to bin Salman, who doesn't
believe in the free press at all. And if you ever were rude to him in Saudi Arabia,
your head would be rolling in the sand. All right. Enter chief White House correspondent for ABC
News, Mary Bruce. Okay. Now, she's been on the case since 2021. She is a notorious Trump Bader.
And Mary did not let us down yesterday.
Roll the tape.
Is it appropriate, Mr. President, for your family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia
while your president, is that a conflict of interest?
And your royal highness, the U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated
the brutal murder of a journalist.
9-11 families are furious that you are here in your office.
Who you with?
Who are you?
Who are you with?
And the same to you, Mr. President.
Now, who are you with?
I'm with ABC News, sir.
You with who?
ABC News, sir.
Fake news.
ABC fake, this is one of the worst in the business, but I'll answer you a question.
I have nothing to do with a family business.
I have left, and when I've devoted 100% of my energy, what my family does is fine.
They do business all over.
They've done very little with Saudi Arabia, actually.
I'm sure they could do a lot.
Okay.
Now, the questions were legitimate.
I would have asked them, but not in the accusatory way,
Miss Bruce did. She was not looking to elicit information. This is the key. When you are a White
House correspondent or any other valid repertorial job, your task is to get information to the
American public. That is not what Mary Bruce wanted to do. She wanted to gotcha. She wanted to
embarrass. You could hear it in her voice, the tone. Where was it? Now, here's what she could have
said. This is what she could have said. Mr. President, in a calm matter, is there any validity
to your critics saying that your family is making big money in Saudi Arabia? Simple question.
Any validity to that?
It's not accusatory.
And then, to the leader of Saudi Arabia,
you know, Mr. Crown Prince or Mr. whatever you want to call it.
Is there any validity to the United States intelligence operations
believing that your government assassinated a journalist?
Is it?
Yes or no?
And you can follow up with a why, or why not?
not depending on the answer. Does that make sense to you? That's how professionals do it.
It's how I've done it for more than 50 years. But I've made mistakes, and I'm going to go over
one of those mistakes that I think you'll find interesting. But President Trump knows
that Mary Bruce, NBC, CBS to a lesser extent now that it's been sold, CNN, MS, now,
whatever it is, he knows they're in business to embarrass him, not to get information, yet he still
gives them access.
For me, I wouldn't.
You know, I just wouldn't do it.
Because the Saudis already feel that the American system is ridiculous, so are the Chinese, so does Putin.
Again, if you tried that, if Mary Bruce tried that in Rihad, Riyadh,
the capital of Saudi Arabia,
it might not be around much, too long there.
So why?
Why does President Trump allow this stuff
to happen time after time, after time, after time?
And I think he just likes the joust.
I think he wants to show his supporters
that he's not going to take any BS, that he'll kick back.
I think that's what it is, but we've got it now.
And these are important things.
So summing up, not going to change.
You've got three more years of this.
I do respect President Trump being accessible to the press.
I mean, Biden, forget it.
Never in a million years could answer out of him.
And I was wrong.
Now, that's not what democracy is.
You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News.
Okay, Marist poll. I went to Marist College. It's now Maris University. Not the place that I attended. Much more liberal now. It's okay. You want to go there. You go there. Not my, I was going to say a cliche cup of tea, but I'm not going to do that. But anyway, they have a poll. And it is not a very good poll. And I'm hoping, because I know something,
people who work the poll that it gets better. For example, they, last year for the presidential
vote, they had Harris up by four going into election day. Come on. I mean, you've got to do better
than that. Anyway, they conducted a poll this month on what's likely to be the big issue
in the presidential election going forward. 28. Here it is. Lowering price is 57%.
No surprise.
Controlling immigration, 16, reducing crime 9.
Ending the war between Ukraine and Russia, 7.
Maintaining peace between Israel and Gaza, 6.
So there's no doubt about it.
I'm President Trump and his administration.
If they want to hold the House of Senate next November,
they've got to get the prices down.
of insurance, health care, car, house, and food.
Not that far away on the food.
The opposition, of course, is hysterical.
It's only about 3% that it's up.
And oils down.
But it's up to there.
They know, everybody knows.
This is not a secret.
Another poll Gallup, almost 20,000 U.S. adults.
Do you think Americans pay too much, too little, or about right, the quality of health care they receive?
Pay too much 90%.
Too little, too, about right, 8.
90%.
That's a health care thing.
And boy, oh boy, Republicans have got to get on it.
How concerned are you, your household will be able to pay for needed prescription drugs next 12 months?
extremely concerned somewhat concerned total is 37 percent okay most people think they
can make it and how much stress does health care put on you and your family
52% say a lot or some 49 not much but it is a very compelling issue got to get
that health insurance
premiums, Medicaid, and Medicare spending under control.
And that includes Obamacare.
Okay.
So I have to cover both parties.
I favor the Republican Party now because it upholds traditional values, like capitalism, like punishing criminals.
like controlling borders, whereas the Democratic Party does not support that.
However, I have to be fair, and I will be.
And I'm going to be ruthless in how I cover the next 12 months
because the Republicans have power now.
But I'm not seeing a health care proposal on table of you.
So Johnson and Thune, the two big boys in Congress,
you better get something going.
Now, one area that is beyond dispute as far as Trump's effectiveness is concerned is foreign affairs.
It is Joe Biden's birthday today.
We're going to deal with that in the history segment.
He's 83 years old.
But Biden was the second worst president ever.
If you read, confronting the president's document that all day long.
And I'll do it again tonight.
I'll document why I believe that.
Trump's been very, very effective overseas, extremely so.
Anybody who denies that just not being honest,
and I wouldn't be debating anybody about it.
Even CNN, all right, says, hey, Trump's approval on foreign policy
is drawn from 35% in his first term to 43% today.
Roll the table.
We're talking about 43% now.
That's an eight-point rise.
On the net approval rating, we're talking about a double-digit rise.
the American people like much more of what they're seeing
from Donald Trump and foreign policy in term two
than they did in term number one.
Just for your frame of reference,
Bush, the Younger, stood at 36% approval for foreign affairs
at the stage. That was the Iraq situation.
And Barack Obama had 37%
because Putin had seized Crimea, and Obama
kind of wasn't fair to him.
Obama did a good job on attacking.
the jihadists, ISIS and things like that. We documented in killing the killers. But Trump is
way, way ahead. But you're not going to win the midterms on foreign affairs. Not going to happen.
