Starting point is 00:00:28 abholing. You're listening to the no-spin News, Talking Points Edition. The Talking Points Memo is something that is happening, so I can report and analyze it with certainty, and that is the military, U.S. military, going into American cities. That is a subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo. I'll stay Chicago first. So this is a problem for the entire nation because thousands of African-Americans are being murdered in Chicago, the nation's third largest city. The mayor there, Brandon Johnson, is a nitwit, and the governor Pritzker doesn't have anything to solve the problems. We're going on now for more than a decade. Right? Year to year,
Starting point is 00:01:21 at the year. The drug gangs are killing people. No one is stopping it. Trump wants to stop it because that's a good issue for him, law and order president. But he can't send troops directly in to run Chicago at this point. So he's sending ICE agents, immigration. This is how he's getting around the Posse Comitatis Law. So this is Operation Midway Blitz. Okay, ICE agents have flooded Chicago, and they are looking for illegal aliens. clients, okay? The worst of the worst, they say, but that's not always true. I believe that's the focus,
Starting point is 00:02:08 but other peaceful migrants get caught up sometimes, and it's inevitable. It's inevitable that would happen. So anyway, the agents go in, and then the far left, Johnson and his crew, start to threaten the agents, start to say terrible things about him, and then Trump It says, whoa, our agents are being threatened. I have to send in backup to protect them. That's what's happening, okay, in Chicago. So we don't have the exact numbers yet, but yesterday the federal agents began to arrive, but your border patrol, I think some FBI, not National Guard yet, but they're coming.
Starting point is 00:02:59 Now, the intent is, okay, protect the ICE agents, but believe me, a lot of these federal troops and agents will be putting this south side of Chicago to stop the gangs. That's what happened in Washington, D.C., and it worked. That's what's going to happen in Chicago. Okay. Portland, Oregon, similar story. probably the most radical left town in America, Portland. I worked there, beautiful town.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Rains a lot, mellow, back when I was there in the 80s. Now, loons run it. And the loons allow all kinds of depravity in public. Go down a Pioneer Square, it's gross. You can't take your kids there. You know, walk along the waterfront, the Willamette River. No, can't. Too many miscreants hanging around and nothing will happen to them no matter what they do. And you have Antifa. A lot of Antifa living in a Portland area.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Okay? The Trump doesn't like Portland or Oregon, sanctuary state and city. Same thing. Senate and U.S. immigration customs, okay? But here there's a little bit of a different wrinkle because he says not only you're going to protect our agents, we're going to protect federal property. Because Antif, as you know, of it detect federal property.
Starting point is 00:04:31 So that's why we're doing it. They're really doing it because Portland's radical left sanctuary city. So the governor of Oregon, very far left woman, Tina Kotech, responds this way. Go. There is no insurrection. There is no threat to national security. And there is no need for military troops in our major city.
Starting point is 00:04:55 military service members should be dedicated to real emergencies. The members of the Oregon National Guard, their mission is to stand up and protect Oregonians, and they will do that every day, but they are not needed in the city. They are not needed here. All right, well, I disagree with the governor. I think she's just basically playing politics,
Starting point is 00:05:19 but I could be wrong. I don't think I am based upon what I know is happening. in Portland, but she's like Pritzker in Illinois, never going to say, hey, thanks. No, not going to happen. Then we go to Memphis, Tennessee, a totally different story. Governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee wants the federal response there because of the violence generated again by drug gangs. Same thing in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:05:49 These drug gangs are heavily armed. They'll shoot you down in a heartbeat. talk about evil, confronting evil. You know, my advice to anybody is don't confront these guys. He'll kill you. Same thing in Mexico with the cartels. So there is a force that is going, a federal force, it's going in to clean these guys up.
Starting point is 00:06:13 And they're working with the local Memphis and Tennessee authorities. So 150 National Guard is going to be deployed to Memphis. And they're going to be there indefinitely. And again, there is no resistance here. They Tennessee authorities by and large want the feds to help. Now, that's not everybody, but it's the majority of people. So there is a poll that says most Americans don't want the military, the National Guard, this is by NPR, to go into the cities.
Starting point is 00:06:53 by 37% do, 47% don't. I don't trust NPR at all. But I'd say it's 50-50 in this country because people don't understand the history of it. And let me enlighten everybody now. This is very interesting. It's why I say you always should watch the no-spin news
Starting point is 00:07:14 or listen on the radio with a pen and paper. I'm going to give you three examples of presidents that have done what President Trump is doing. doing, which is why the president of trouble went in the courts. First one was U.S. Grant, 1871, fascinating. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.
Starting point is 00:07:43 That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver. Tharu, the only dealer I trust, American Hartford gold. and you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty-free. Starting point is 00:08:11 and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau, you can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-3-2-6, 556.5.6. or text bill to 998899. Again, that's 866-326-5576-5576 or text bill to 998899. Maybe it's just a phase you're going through. You'll get over it. I can't help you with that.
Starting point is 00:08:42 The next appointment is in six months. You're not alone. Finding mental health support shouldn't leave you feeling more lost. At CAMH, we know how full. frustrating it can be trying to access care. We're working to build a future where the path to support is clear, and every step forward feels like progress, not another wrong turn. Visit camh.ca to help us forge a better path for mental health care.
Starting point is 00:09:07 And we write about this in confronting the presidents. So Grant takes over for one of the worst presidents, Andrew Johnson. He's the guy who came in after Lincoln was assassinated. And he, Grant, was a decent man, and he knew the Ku Klux Klan in the South, particularly South Carolina, was just running violent roughshod over blacks. So in 1871, Grant sent federal troops to South Carolina and arrested at least 600 Klansmen and killed a bunch of them. You didn't hear about that, but believe me, they disappeared.
Starting point is 00:09:50 And it broke the back of the clan until the 20th century when it resurrected again. Grant knocked it out. There was no outcry from Congress or anybody else. Grant said, look, you've got to protect American citizens. Just like protect American citizens in Memphis and Chicago, right? Right? Okay. In 1957, President Eisenhower sends 1,000 paratroopers, 1,000 paratroopers to Arkansas because that state was not enforcing integration in their schools.
Starting point is 00:10:32 So, 1,000 paratroopers, full gear, marching to Little Rock and say, hey, you're going to do what you're told to do by the federal government. And then JFK in 1962 sends troops at the University of Mississippi, James Meredith. Okay. And the next year to the University of Alabama, that was the George Wallace thing. So, Grant, Eisenhower, JFK, when they felt American citizens were being abused, then the troops. That's why Trump will win every court challenge. Oregon is suing Trump, they'll lose.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Now, you'll find the usual crazies. They'll find a judge. The judge will be a stay. You know how. The game plays. But once it goes to the Supreme Court, they keep precedent. Okay. And that's the memo.
Starting point is 00:11:30 You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News. Talking about his memo is another hectic day for Mr. Trump. So he begins, Quantico, Virginia. That's the headquarters of the Marines, have the eyes there, too, outside of D.C., of course. And he and Secretary of War, it's not Defense Secretary anymore. Pete Higgseth telling the generals, they can't be fat. Got to be in shape. And no more political correctness and no more DEI and no more anything.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Okay. And, you know, anybody surprised by this? You shouldn't be. Donald Trump does not like the woke stuff and either does Secretary Hegg, Seth. So I'm going to play you one sound bite on this. It's not that controversial. I'm looking to see if there's any subversion about this message, and we'll have that tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:12:35 But here's what the president said today. Go. We're bringing back a focus. back a focus on fitness, ability, character, and strength. And that's because the purposes of American military is not to protect anyone's feelings. It's to protect our republic. And it's the republic that we dearly love. It's to protect our country. We will not be politically correct when it comes to
Starting point is 00:13:02 defending American freedom. And we will be a fighting and winning machine. Okay. So then the president goes back to the White House and makes an announcement that's fairly important about lowering drug prices. So this, particularly for senior citizens, is a big, big issue. And Trump has made a deal with Pfizer. There's going to be some kind of Trump-R-X thing. You can get all this on the Internet and all of that, but you're going to be able to buy prescription drugs in particular for a lower price, according to President Trump. Roll it.
Starting point is 00:13:45 As you know, the United States is paying sometimes 10 times more than other countries for drugs, and a lot of excuses were made for that, but it went on for many years, many, many years, decades, and it's not going on any longer. We're going to be paying the lowest price. Well, we'll see. And I hate to use that cliche, we'll see. That's what all the pinheads on television. Oh, see.
Starting point is 00:14:08 say. But I don't know. I mean, I don't know if it'll work or not. I think it might. And that's big. The President Trump can slash us drug prices. But remember, he's on a clock. He doesn't have three years to do it. He's got one year to do it. Because the midterms loom. And that's for sure. Same thing with the food prices and the groceries and all that. You got a year. quick. Now, in addition, the Gaza 20-point plan, and again, you can go and look at it. I don't have time to go over 20 points, but I'll summarize it for you, is in motion. And Hamas announced today that they're looking at it or whatever. Got to understand one thing. The Hamas terrorists that live in Gaza and control that area of Palestine, Hezbollah controls the West Bank.
Starting point is 00:15:08 So there's two terror operations that have the Palestinian people, they're holding them hostage. Because if you're a Palestinian, you live in the West Bank, you live in Gaza, and you say, hey, I don't like you, Hamas, you're dead. That's it. So the Hamas people run Gaza. They don't want to stop the fighting because then the money from Iran stops. if there were peace, and Hamas terrorists are out of business. I open my book, Infronting Evil, with the October 7th attack, which is coming up. Okay?
Starting point is 00:15:53 And I put you right in the middle of that thing, so you understand the mindset of evil, Hamas evil. That's how we opened the book, but we put you right there. Hamas does not want to stop this. And there's not a lot of outside pressure on Hamas to stop it. So I'm not pessimistic, I'm agnostic, I don't know what the next step will be. Here's what I do know. This was a nice try by President Trump.
Starting point is 00:16:25 And for those who hate him, particularly in a Jewish community, I mean, a man is trying. Biden never tried, ever. And Netanyahu's in a win-win position here. Doesn't you know how to go along with this. Fly Air Transit, Seven Time winners, Champions out of game. Fly the Seven Time World's Best Leisure Airline Champions, Air Transat. Did you lock the front door? Check.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Close the garage door? Yep. Installed window sensors, smoke sensors, and HD cameras with nightvig. No. And you set up credit card transaction alerts, a secure VPN for a private connection, and continuous monitoring for our personal info on the dark web. I'm looking into it. Stress less about security.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Choose security solutions from TELUS for peace of mind at home and online. Visit TELUS.com slash total security to learn more. Conditions apply. But if Hamas rejects this, then Netanyahu is going to go in and kill them all. And that's going to mean a lot of civilians are going to get killed. because the Hamas people hide behind and, you know, the drill. So Netanyahu either gets a deal or he gets to eliminate the rest of Hamas.
Starting point is 00:17:45 No downside for him. Now, there are two main things. Within 72 hours of a peace agreement, a cease fire, all the hostages and the bodies of the dead hostages have to be released, 72 hours. Okay. And then Gaza is to... to be rebuilt under an international commission
Starting point is 00:18:09 headed by President Trump with an assist from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. So they're gonna set up like a corporation. And Trump's vision has always been, and he ran this by me shortly after he was elected last November, to make it a tourist destination because it's right on the Mediterranean and to have all this Arab investment
Starting point is 00:18:34 money coming in from the Gulf to build these big hotels and to give a structure to the Palestinian people so they can earn a living. It is a good vision. If you travel to the Middle East, there are resorts on the Red Sea. Alexandria, Virginia is trying to ramp up in that area, Malta, the island of Malta in the Mediterranean. You can do that. Turkey's got a very nice tourist coastline. And that's Trump's vision. Now, whether any of it is going to happen, who knows?
Starting point is 00:19:09 Because, again, terrorists are terrorists. That's what they're named for. They hate Jews. They want to kill Jews. And that's a memo. You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News. Talking about his memo, New Pole, by our pal John McLaughlin, who's an honest broker, but he does lean right.
Starting point is 00:19:33 He is President Trump's pollster. But his data pretty solid over the years. Thousand likely voters, John asked. Male 48, female 52, that's the voting rolls. First question. I think the United States is going in the right or wrong direction. Right direction 35, wrong direction 57. Now, that does not mean that Trump's doing a bad job
Starting point is 00:19:56 because a lot of that wrong direction is directed at, radical progressives. So we can draw from that other than the majority of Americans are really happy with the state of the Union as it is now. Generic ballot, U.S. Congress. This is the midterms in November 26, Republican 47, Democrat 41. Oh, undecided 12. Now, I'm not sure about that number, but if it's true, Republicans should be very happy. happy. Third question. All things being equal, do you prefer free market capitalism or big government socialism? Capitalism 65, socialism 11. Thought that number would be higher, don't know, 24. And the don't know is an interesting number here because those people don't know the difference between
Starting point is 00:20:49 capitalism and socialism. They don't know anything. They're bubble people. A lot of them. Okay, A ton of them. What would you describe as the most important issue the U.S. is facing? Economy 41%. There you go. Social, 24%. That's, you know, stuff going on in the culture. Security 17, inflation 23.
Starting point is 00:21:19 So you add up the economy and inflation, and you get 64%. That's what's going to tell the midterm. And that's crucial for President Trump. If he loses one or both houses in Congress, it'll be very rough for him. So, got to be honest here. Final question, how would you describe the U.S. economy getting better, 34, getting worse 60, don't know six. Not a good number. So the Republicans come out with two good numbers and one bad number here from the McLaughlin poll.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Unemployment is not a problem in this country right now. It's 4.3% for August, and it was 4.2% last year. It's the same. Most people are working. In my area, in Long Island, people are hiring. They need help. You know, it's not $100,000 jobs, but you can make a living. But the consumer paying more from insurance.
Starting point is 00:22:27 More for utilities, more to commute, pay, pay, pay, and the taxes are up to here. All right, in New York. You guys in Texas, Florida, Tennessee, you don't have to deal with that. We do. And the big population centers do. So, going to be big changes in a year. This poll is just a snapshot of where we are right now. There are going to be huge changes in this country in a year,
Starting point is 00:22:52 which is why you want to stay with us on bill o'Reilly.com. and the no-spin news, enormous changes. And you know, my prediction is about 90%. Where do you see? A lot of things are going to happen, happen fast. Stay here, we will always tell you the truth, and that is the memo. You're listening to a special edition of the no-spin news.
Starting point is 00:23:19 So the blame game is what they do on television. Trump did it. Oh, no. The Democrats did it. So boring. so tedious, so ridiculous, but it happens every single time. And a poll out today from The Washington Post says 47% of Americans say Trump and Republicans are responsible for the government shutdown.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Okay, 30% say the Democrats are responsible. Now, The Washington Post, but maybe it's true because that's what the media puts out there. and even though nobody watches the media, it all gets on the Internet and people pick it up, they don't know. And I'm not being super-silius, word of the day. Okay, I'm not. They just don't know. People are busy.
Starting point is 00:24:08 People have to work. They're kids. They're running around. They can't be sitting there on their butts analyzing the government shutdown. I understand that. That's why you watch me and listen to me on a radio. Because I cut through all the BS, and I'll tell you, unless in an hour, what the truth is about your world.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Okay, so according to Washington Post, that most people brain talk, does it matter? No. Four weeks from today, nobody will even remember this. Do you remember the last year? I've been shut down. I remember it. I had to cover it, but not.
Starting point is 00:24:43 It's kind of fuzzy. Okay, so the most honest appraisal of what happened to lead to the government shutting down this week was made by me, aren't I humble, on News Nation Cuomo last night? Roll it tape. Okay, so here's what happened. You'll remember that the last time around, Senator Schumer gave in to President Trump, at least that's how it was portrayed, and Schumer got hammered from all sides, and couldn't leave the house for three weeks. So that was not going to happen again, Cuomo. Not with AOC right there.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Not going to happen. So the guy who really knew what was going to happen in advance, and you should get him on tomorrow, is Federman, the senator from... Yeah, I'm trying to get him. I'm trying to get them. Okay. So he signaled to all of us who pay attention, and that probably be about six or seven individuals in the media, that this was not going to go well. And here's why it didn't. So under President Biden, about 15 million foreign nationals crossed into America, many of them, perhaps most, on asylum claims. But they didn't go through the ports of entry,
Starting point is 00:26:07 and they didn't do what they were supposed to do to claim asylum. In the Democratic vision for funding health care, all of those people. Schumer knew that Trump and the Republicans were never going to sign off on that, ever in a million years. Yet he brought it in any way.
Starting point is 00:27:21 so you tell me who's playing the cards in an upright position and that's exactly what happened Biden is a villain here because he changed the whole thing as far as asylum is concerned if you in the past before Biden were a foreigner in danger that you were going to be killed or imprisoned because of your belief system you could apply to asylum you had there were rules you had to do and come here once you got here under that asylum Banner, then you were entitled to whatever the government programs are, you're entitled to go to school, entitled to Obamacare, whatever. When Biden allowed 15 million in unsupervised, and I don't know the exact number that applied
Starting point is 00:28:12 for asylum, they haven't put it out yet, but it's probably the majority, because that was the con. All right, the cartel smuggled the people up, and they said, look, when the board is Patrol confronts you and you can surrender to them just say you want asylum and Biden will let you come right in and that's what happened now the bigger picture is the Democratic Party wants socialized medicine they want Washington to run the whole entire health care system like Canada like Western Europe so that's why they support free health care or subsidized health care for pretty much everybody this is a another
Starting point is 00:28:51 step in that direction. So those of us who are honest and know what happened leading up to this, know that there's no way the two sides could have ever agreed on the health care for migrants. Okay, it was never going to happen. And so, therefore, his fault, but it's the fault of the Democratic Party because that party knew by insisting that all migrants be covered who claim asylum, okay, that Republicans would never do it. But they knew. This was all contrived. Now, what should happen going forward is it should be a negotiation
Starting point is 00:29:41 about the 15 million that Biden left in and what they are entitled to or not. And that negotiation should be done in good faith. and new legislation has to be passed. Joe Biden wrecked the entire immigration system in this country, destroyed it. It's got to be rebuilt. Even though Donald Trump succeeded
Starting point is 00:30:05 and closing the border and ISIS now rooting out, a lot of the people who shouldn't be here, the whole system is wrecked. You have to start again, and that those talks should be ongoing. That's something for Congress to do. Okay. So I hope everybody understands what this is all about, because you will never hear that analysis anywhere else on television in this country. Maybe, and if you do, let me know, bill at bill o'Reilly.com, bill at bill o'Reilly.com, because I'd like to bring the person who does it on the program. All right. So the nuts and bolts of all this is that there's supposed to be a what they call a budget,
Starting point is 00:30:50 deadline once each fiscal year. But that has broken down. So now it's four or five of them every few months. We've got to go over the budget, the spending. What are we doing? What are we doing? What are we doing? That's got to be fixed, too. It's absolute chaos. Even this bill, when they come to an agreement, they will, they'll extend. It's temporary. You got to deal with it again another three months. It should be once a year to reconcile spending that Congress is approved because things change. That's what I have it. Once a year. That's all. Not eight times a year. Okay. Finally, the Senate is different than the House. House passed the extension. Goes to the Senate. You need 60 votes. And that's because of the filibuster rule. This goes way back to 1917.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Didn't used to have a filibuster rule that, and it was on and on. And that's what led to the Civil War, is that they could never come to a vote about slavery because of South, we just refuse. All right, so nothing could improve. And then in 1917, it said, okay, you need 60 votes in the Senate to pass most legislation. Not all, but you'd have to read the Senate rules are crazy, arcane. So it's a different situation, and Trump can't get sick. 60 votes. So he's got 55. Rand Paul, I got a letter about Rand Paul. He doesn't want any
Starting point is 00:32:27 spending. That's why he votes again. He's not voting for the Democrats. He's both rotten. I'm not voting for any spending. So he's a Republican senator. So anyway, you're not going to get 60 votes. But what you will get is the government has to reopen. It will. And then we'll go on to the next round. And it's got to stop. You have to reorganize this.
