So will Donald Trump bring in the National Guard and other federal authorities to Chicago to control the violence?
I think he will. But it's going to cause a major amount of trouble. It's different from D.C. because the federal government runs the District of Columbia, where Chicago is part of the state of Illinois.
Illinois has authority, Springfield.
over Chicago. But that'll work itself out in the courts. The right thing to do is to stop
the murder in Chicago. Let me repeat. I'm the president. I do the right thing. You've got to
stop the mass killing. The people who run Chicago do not care about stopping the mass killing
at all. That's Prisker the governor and Johnson the mayor. They are
ideological people. They live in a bubble of progressive ideology. They are not problem
solvers. Okay. So in the last five years, in Chicago, nearly 4,000 human beings have been
murdered. Eighty-four percent of them black. Four thousand
Okay. Now, that alone, in America, that should never, ever happen.
Over this Labor Day weekend, ready for these stats? Okay. Sixty-one people in Chicago were shot.
Sixty-one. Nine dead, 52 injured. Any arrests for any of the 61 shootings? No, not one arrest.
Nobody got arrested.
This is, when you say, where are the police?
The system to protect Chicagans who are vulnerable has collapsed.
There is no order in the poor neighborhoods of Chicago.
None.
And if you are a killer, you will get away with murder.
There's a million reasons why the police department is under.
undermined, the city council undermines punishment.
It goes on and on and on and on.
It's a lot.
Same here in New York, where I am.
Same in L.A., San Francisco.
It's all progressive stuff.
But the fact remains that you have people being gunned down on a daily basis,
and the politicians won't stop it.
So who's going to stop it?
So on July 23rd, 2020, five years ago,
Here's what I say, though.
You stop it by moving in the National Guard.
That's how you stop it.
Now, you don't have to keep them there forever,
but you reorganize your policing in those neighborhoods.
And once the Guard is there,
the people will feel protected and come forward,
and maybe you get a coalition of religious people and civic people,
and they put pressure.
Everybody knows who these drug gangs are.
It's like they don't know them.
They know.
Okay, that was five years ago.
Nothing was done.
Because it was Biden.
You know, Trump had a little window, but he chose not to do what I discussed it was for President Trump in his first term.
He asked my opinion about it, and I gave it to him.
Here it was.
And Biden couldn't care less.
He didn't even, you know, know, know anything.
So, Trump deployed the National Guard in D.C., another chaotic mess on August 11th.
Here's what happened.
So far, about 1,500 arrests, okay?
156 illegal guns, fees.
Year-to-day comparisons since the National Guard went in,
40% drop in violent crime.
40%, 82% drop in carjackings,
11% drop in property crime.
Even the progressive mayor of D.C. Muriel Bowser says,
hey, this has worked.
Washingtonians are more protected and feel safer.
And it's a truth.
Now, you won't hear the truth from the Washington Post or from, and most of the television networks.
No, they're not going to say that.
They're going to say, Trump's a fascist, he's addicted, you know, you're going to say them all garbage.
Okay, so what has to happen now is a message.
and I think President Trump's going to send a message that if you are an elected official anywhere
in this country and you put your own people in danger, let's face it, the U.S. economy is under
stress, national debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping
the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and
silver, through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious
metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you
roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty free. With billions in precious
medals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau,
You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do.
Please call 866326-55-7576 or text bill to 99-88-99.
Again, that's 866-3-2-6-5576-56-5576 or text bill to 998899.
You put your own people in danger.
federal government's going to step in and protect those people.
Roll the tape.
Either you support the Constitution or you do not.
And this president has literally trampled on the sensibility of what our democracy is all about.
And so, you know, the city of Chicago, I can tell you this emphatically, we are not going to accept or nor are we calling for the occupation of our,
city by federal troops.
There are people who live in our communities.
There are neighbors.
There are friends.
And we now have a president and a federal government that's going after them, hunting people
down and disappearing them off the streets.
Men with masks are grabbing people off the streets and taking them away.
And that's just shameful.
Okay.
So those are the two that are responsible for the chaos.
Ritzker is talking about, of course, ICE agents because they will accompany the National Guard in there
because some of the violent criminals in Chicago, as with every other city, are illegal migrants.
But you have two men who are simply saying, we're just not going to do it.
Okay, if Mayor Johnson interferes in any way with Donald Trump and the federal government's intrusion, because it is,
into Chicago, have him arrested.
Arrest him.
Now, maybe Johnson wants to get arrested.
Maybe it wants to be a martyr.
Okay?
But, again, this is about sending a message.
Pritzker, he's too shrewd to do that.
Okay?
He's going to try to parlay this like Newsom, same thing,
into a presidential run.
That's what he's trying to do.
All right, so summing up,
this situation in Chicago should have been dealt with
Five years ago when I said what I said about National Guard, it was ignored by Biden administration.
And now there are what another 2,300 dead or what?
I mean, it's just, it's staggering.
And you know, the poor people in Chicago, they're never going to rise up.
They're never going to support Trump because they are brainwashed.
They live in a bubble.
They can't step back and see the description.
that these progressives are heaping upon their own neighborhoods and their own family.
You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News.
I'm a simple man, you know, that.
And I don't know why people vote for politicians who screw up, who destroy their
environment, cities, who raise their taxes, who hurt them, who won't prosecute criminals.
I don't understand it.
But I really do.
I don't understand it emotionally, but intellectually, I do understand it, and I will explain it now.
But first, some examples.
State of California, Largerson, a nation, beautiful place from top to bottom.
In my opinion, I've been to every county.
All right.
Since Gavin Newsom, the governor, has been in office six years, it has gone from a budget surplus to $32 billion in debt.
That is just an abysmal record.
And what did the state get for the $32 billion in debt?
All of that massive spending.
You tell me, because I don't know.
But 1.2 million people agree with me because they've left California under Newsom.
1.2 million people.
Bye.
And it's hard.
It's hard to leave.
I was discussing that today with Hannity on this radio program.
We posted out on Bill O'Reilly.com.
Hannity split from New York.
You should come down there to Florida.
Well, I'm running three corporations, and I've got family obligations, everything else up here in New York.
I can't just say, hey, see you later.
I don't like the politics, and I don't.
But I'm going to fight it out here for a while.
It's not forever for a while.
But in California, $1.2 million?
I mean, and now this guy wants to be president?
So where are we going to move?
Ireland, the Bahamas?
San Francisco spent $25 billion in homeless drug addicts, $25 billion on these narrative wells, miscreants, running around the streets, ruining the city.
Has anything improved? After the $25 billion spent? No. Failure. Gross failure. Okay? Then we have Chicago.
The past 10 years, almost 7,000 people have been murdered in Chicago.
And it's the third largest city.
And the carnage continues.
Look at the Labor Day stats we reported on yesterday.
Yet, no accountability.
They elect loon after loon after loon.
Lori Lightwood, we thought she was the worst.
Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Mayor Chicago's worse.
No, we don't put anybody in jail.
It's racist if you put anybody in jail.
Yeah, no, no. Let the gangbangers just mow down anybody they want. You don't think these black
neighborhoods are terrorized by these drug gangs? They are. But the people keep voting for people
like Brandon Johnson. Okay, one more. New York. So more than two million people have left
the city and state of New York since 2015, 10 years. Okay? And that'll be more because we have
having added in 2025 yet.
More than 2 million people.
I'm out of here.
Hannity's one of them.
Okay?
And the reasons are highest taxes, social disorder, general chaos, terrible schools in the poor neighborhoods.
In the wealthy neighborhoods, the schools are okay.
But we are spending more than $35,000 per pupil in New York public schools.
35,000 a year on one kid.
Catholic schools maybe spend 13,000, 14,000,
and you'll get a better education than Catholic school,
and they'll take you even if you're Muslim.
Now.
So, failure, failure, failure, failure.
Democratic Party props all this up.
You don't hear Democrats criticizing any of these cities at all for anything.
And that's why Democratic Party is so much trouble.
okay and finally new york city is facing a communist mayor as you know so on ma'am donnie i said to hanity
this could be the biblical sodom and gomorra that's what this could be that there's a a theological
uh reason that an extremist who will destroy new york city he will you think he's got bad
people now, this guy is off the chart. Maybe that has to happen. Maybe you have to blow it all
up before people say, I'm not voting for failure any longer. Okay, summing up, progressive leadership
doesn't work anywhere in the world, never has, never will. I've been to Cuba, I recently
returned from China, as you know, been to Russia, been to communist Eastern Europe when it was
control by the Soviet Union. I have seen it up close. Doesn't work. Progressive leadership.
You're listening to a special edition of the No Spin News.
Tucker Point's memo this evening is President Trump, the activist. So he's a very different
kind of president. Everybody knows that, but they don't know really why. So you got to go back
to Teddy Roosevelt in the early 20th century. Roosevelt had a vision of the country.
we should be robust, we should be patriotic.
I have a letter written by Teddy Roosevelt that says,
no more German, American, Irish, American, or all Americans.
He was very, very centralized in his view of the country.
And he was also outraged by the robber barons,
the very wealthy people like Morgan and Rockefeller and Carnegie,
who was scooping up billions of dollars while workers died.
That is in confronting evil.
Teddy Roosevelt's fight against the robber barons.
So, Roosevelt was a very activist president, and he was a populist just like Trump.
Not really a Republican.
He called himself a progressive that word meant far different back then than it means now.
But Roosevelt wanted vast change.
Trump is in the same category.
I don't even know if the president understands how similar he is in style to Teddy Roosevelt.
He harkens back to Andrew Jackson, Donald Trump, and there is a lot of similarities there.
I wrote a column last week on Alexander Hamilton being re-Trump is his reincarnation.
So this isn't new, but it's stunning because it hasn't happened in so long.
In modern times, after World War II, we haven't had any activist president.
None.
Reagan wasn't an activist.
He wanted certain things, but he wasn't trying to redesign the whole stuff.
system, Trump is. That's very important for you and every American to understand. He wants to
redesign the country, the strong power center in Washington, D.C. So tariffs are number one.
So Donald Trump in his first four years did very well in the economy, and people's wages rose,
as you know, particularly black Americans. But we were still paying out billions, hundreds,
to billions of dollars to foreign countries, and Trump was seething because he said, this isn't fair.
We're the big dog consumer. Why are we paying money to Luxembourg? Okay, so he stopped it by the
tariffs, because all even it out, they'll have to pay us to get their products sold in America.
That's what that is all about. He did it because he wants more manufacturing jobs,
making more stuff here rather than hotel jobs, fast food jobs, Uber jobs.
He wants the higher paying jobs, and he believes that's the way to elevate the middle class.
And if it works, okay, that will happen.
But we don't know if it's going to work.
And of course, Trump's opposition doesn't want any change at all.
None.
And that includes some Republicans.
They want to keep it the way it is.
I don't like the way it is.
I would rather have more high-paying skilled jobs in America.
And if you've got to threaten companies abroad to get them back here, it's okay with me.
But Trump's opposition hates that.
They hate the terrorists.
It's another lawsuit.
I'll get to it in a moment.
Why?
It may work big time for America.
Now, we are an impatient people.
So Trump's got about six more months to see if president.
Races go down, and wages goes up, and more jobs are plentiful.
Okay?
That's it.
And February, March of next year, if the American consumer is suffering,
then the Democrats have a very good chance to take at least one house in the midterms.
Trump knows that, but he's gambling.
And the other presidents would never have done it, ever.
The other activist is public safety.
So Donald Trump has disdain for liberal governance.
D-I-S-D-A-I-N. D-S-D-A-N.
D-D-A-N.
He believes they're weak.
He believes they don't care about public safety.
He believes that the poor are getting murdered literally.
And nobody's doing anything about it.
So he will.
But then he gets into the balance of power.
So the states were designed to run themselves.
but what happens if a state won't run itself,
won't protect its own people,
like Illinois and Chicago,
like Louisiana and New Orleans,
like L.A. and California.
These places do not protect their citizenry.
New York City does not even punish filing criminals.
You can hurt another human being in the city,
and I'll prove it to you later on,
and you just walk free.
I mean, that's anarchy.
Trump has vowed to change.
That's a popular issue for him.
The mega people like that issue.
Mega people on the terrorists, they're not quite sure.
This one, about 98% are with them.
Okay, overseas, Donald Trump wants to make deals.
The problem is that he's dealing with a madman, Vladimir Putin.
Now, China is exploiting that.
You saw it this week, and we'll get to that today.
China's exploiting Putin's madness.
By basically sending a signal, we're going to help Putin.
in Ukraine and other places, we're going to help them.
We're going to help them. Weak destruction.
That is really a tough one for Donald Trump.
I'm deeply involved with that, as you know, very hard.
When you're dealing with a totally out there person,
who doesn't care about life and death,
as long as he's not going to be killed.
Okay, so you can see that all of this is on one man's desk in the Oval Office.
It's a very tough time in U.S. history.
And nobody knows, and I mean that, nobody knows, how this is going to end.
And that's the memo.
Thank you for listening.
