Starting point is 00:01:00 Welcome to the No Spin News Weekend Edition. Also, while I was away, may have seen this, new photos were released of Joe Biden and Hunter, meeting with Chinese officials in 2013, Biden was VP then, and they were gotten by the America first legal organization. Okay, here are the photos. Now Biden said, oh, no, I had nothing to do with my son's business in China. a bunch of bull. Hunter Biden was a partner for Chinese-based equity fund perm named B-H-R partners. So he was in on it. He was making millions of dollars. And why was he in on it? Because of his father. That's why. And the father goes, Biden goes, no, no, no, no, no, I have nothing to do with it. Well, what do I explain those pictures? He's never going to explain
Starting point is 00:01:52 him. So that I raises a question, what's going to happen at Joe Biden once he leaves office? Is there going to be an investigation into all of this? Are we ever going to know the full story? Joining us now, Tallahassee, Florida, Peter Schweitzer, author of Blood Money, Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye, while China kills Americans. He's a president of government accountability initiative, and he does a podcast called Drill Down,
Starting point is 00:02:21 which is about dentistry, I believe, right, Peter? You're getting into drilling down? Yeah, that's right. That's right. I have a very provocative question for you, and then we'll get into what we know and what we don't know. You watch this stuff as much as anybody does on the planet. Do you believe that Joe Biden took money while vice president, possibly president, from his son and brother, that he took cash? Do you believe it? Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:55 And I think there's some evidence for that. So, yeah, that we do know that there were checks that his brother, James Biden, wrote to Joe Biden. This is shortly after he was vice president. And we also know that within the family, these LLCs, they set up these structures of LLCs that shifted a lot of money around. And it's very hard to know where it ends up. So I believe there's evidence for it. I believe he did it. I would also add, Bill, let's remember, the federal laws on bribery.
Starting point is 00:03:25 involving public officials say that if I pay Senator Bill O'Reilly from New York for a favor, or I pay Bill O'Reilly's kids, it doesn't matter in the eyes of the law. So ultimately, whether Joe Biden got paid in the end or not, as far as the law's concern, is irrelevant. The family got paid, and I would argue that is directly connected to decisions that Joe Biden made. All right, but it's relevant to me. I want to know if the Vice President and President of the United States took cash. Simple as that. And if he did take the cash, he didn't put it on his tax returns.
Starting point is 00:04:04 So that's another federal felony. All right. Yeah, we know if we know of $240,000 in two checks that James Biden sent to Joe Biden. We do know that for a fact. But we don't know where that money. We don't have a bank account where that money landed or anything like that. that, right? Right. Correct. All right. So we don't know what happened to the money. The checks were written. And I think James Biden at one point said he was repaying a loan. Isn't what been right?
Starting point is 00:04:36 Is that what he said? Yeah. He said he repaid a loan, although the House oversight committee who had the banking records of both the vice president and his brother say there's no evidence that the first loan ever took place, that that in other words, that Joe Biden actually sent 200,000 to his brother. Now, James Comer, one of the Republican Congresspeople leading a committee investigation, has a book coming out in a couple of weeks. I guess he's going to say what you're saying now. Maybe he'll advance the story a little bit. But when Joe Biden leaves office in 13 days, he then becomes a civilian. Do you anticipate the Trump administration is going to open up an investigation into bribery, tax evasion, these kinds of things?
Starting point is 00:05:27 Probably not. I think it's doubtful. We do know that Hunter Biden, in addition to the gun charges and the tax charges that people already know about, we do know the Department of Justice has said in filings in those cases that they continue to investigate Hunter Biden for violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act, Farah, which means that he was doing the bidding, allegedly of a foreign government or a foreign business without registering for the Justice Department. That's small ball. To me, it's small
Starting point is 00:05:57 ball. You say you don't think that the Trump administration is going to open a Justice Department investigation into Biden and Biden's money, the Vice President and President. Why not? No, I think it's for political reasons. I think that Team
Starting point is 00:06:13 Trump has decided that they want to move forward. They don't want to dwell on these issues in the past. you know, Trump for all of his bombast has always been a kind of forgiven or forget kind of guy. So I don't, I just simply think it's not going to happen. They're going to move forward. I hope I'm wrong. But I don't think I am. Well, wouldn't the easiest way to be for Pam Bondi and he would have to be under the orders of Donald Trump to appoint a special prosecutor on, you know, come on to look into what happened
Starting point is 00:06:43 so the American people will get a little closure. I mean, that does it. I know what you're saying, the New York Times and all these people, NBC News, oh, look at Trump, he's going to get the people. They've already set that up, the Trump vengeance scenario. It's already been set up. I know. But I think most Americans want to know if their vice president and president was bribed. And I think that a special counsel, and you can even get a Democrat to do it. You know, just somebody with a good legal reputation. That's what I would do if I were president. last word yeah i think you're exactly right and look the evidence is clear joe biden and his family have lied repeatedly about this from the beginning uh and if there was nothing that was done that was
Starting point is 00:07:28 unethical or illegal why would they lie so consistently and so blatantly uh about these commercial deals about joe biden's involvements or or their claim of lack of involvement the fact that no money was transferred etc etc so i agree with you i think it's something that should be done for the purpose of clarity, whether Joe Biden ends up pardoning himself before he leaves office. We need clarity and we need transparency. If the federal government is going to have any credibility going forward. All right, Peter, we appreciate it. If you get anything new, please let us know and have a happy new year. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the

Starting point is 00:09:14 We're now to find the better of the good of the good in articles of liquidation. From
Starting point is 00:09:19 from the house, and much more. With offers over-offerts, I can't go back every day
Starting point is 00:09:25 to be how much I'm going with anxia the liquidation, because it's very hot to lose
Starting point is 00:09:31 it's a Burlington, Marks, Rebaugh! Wow! You're listening to the NoSpin News
Starting point is 00:09:38 Weekend Edition. Let's go to a very underreported story that's a little frightening, I guess, China, where we can't get any information. Of course, they got a new virus there called HMPV. And it's the word that this report is using is surging. Now, I don't know because Beijing doesn't let free press operate there. But remember, COVID came out of Wuhan. We all know.
Starting point is 00:10:11 So now there's another virus over there. What is that? It says that most cases are a mild, but young children and adults over 65 with weakened immune systems, you know, could be very adversely impacted. Cough fever, nasal condition, shortness, and breath. This is all HMPV. And you get it by just being in proximity to a person who has it, just like COVID, identical, but not as bad as COVID. So they say this is coming from the. world health organization which nobody believes so i don't i'm just reporting anyway uh i asked my
Starting point is 00:10:50 staff to review the covid stats uh 11 percent of u.s children have the new vaks 21 percent of adults have it 44 percent of adults over 65 this is the new vaccine i don't have that i got the old vaccine i think i got four of them but i didn't get the new one but when i want to know what's going on So let's bring in Dr. Daniel Hoff. He's an MD, a PhD, director of the St. Louis University Center for Vaccine Development. So what's going on in China, you know? Well, what we know is that they've identified increasing cases
Starting point is 00:11:30 of human metadumovirus this season. But it is coincident with the beginning and ongoing respiratory season. in the northern hemispheres. So this happens every year that we do have flu-like illnesses increasing, caused by multiple different types of viruses, and HMPV is one of them.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Influenza in our area. Why is it always China where these things are breaking out? Is there a reason that China's ground zero? We don't really have any evidence at this point that there's a significant outbreak just since yesterday, yesterday when you had asked me to be in this interview. There's newer information indicating that it looks like the rates of HMPV have increased, but similar to what they normally do during the respiratory season.
Starting point is 00:12:31 So we shouldn't be worried here? I shouldn't be getting my mask out of the mothballs. Is there any? I don't think not at this point, not for HMP.M. anyway, certainly whenever there's a patient in a hospital with an infectious disease and they're very sick, it's standard around the world to take precautionary measures such as using masks and isolate the individual patients. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:03 So no worries now, but keep an eye on it, right? That's the advice. That's always true. We always have to be vigilant for new outbreaks. Now, one of my writers got COVID over Christmas, and his whole family got it. But it's not as bad as the COVID that we had a few years ago. Is that where we are? Yes, that's predominantly related to the fact that so many people have been vaccinated and or infected.
Starting point is 00:13:31 And particularly, the combination has led to very strong immunity against the earlier strains of the virus. But the COVID-19 virus is continuing to circulate, and it's continuing to mutate. And so the vaccines that we had before aren't going to work as well as new ones that are a better match for the new viruses. Did you get the new virus vaccine? I did. At the same time as my flu vaccine this year. All right. So it's worth considering then.
Starting point is 00:14:08 your opinion. Definitely, especially in people that have higher risks of disease, such as compromise immune systems. Or just getting older and age, the very young age spectrum. Yeah, you and I don't have to worry about that aging thing. Maybe you don't. Last question for you. So Robert Kennedy Jr. is an anti-backed sky. You know what he said in the past. He's going to go in front of the Senate, try to convince them to confirm him as head of the health department here in the United States. Would you vote for him if you were a senator? I probably would not, but my thinking about him is that he's certainly an unconventional candidate to lead a complicated organization like HHS. But I will work with who
Starting point is 00:15:04 whoever the new leaders are, to do the best that I possibly can to continue to protect the U.S. public from infectious threats. All right, but you don't have any problems with the vaccine, generally speaking, correct? With, I'm sorry, what vaccine you're talking about now? COVID vaccine. Oh, I don't have any problems with it, no. And I've got... And he does, so there would be a pretty...
Starting point is 00:15:32 Well, that is what does concern me. the fact that there's talk of reducing funding for infectious diseases and vaccine development work, because what I worry about is that with decreased funding, we won't be as ready for the next pandemic. Yeah, you've got to stay. There are more coming. Okay. Dallad, doctor, thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:15:57 We appreciate it. Stay strong. And if anything happens on a China thing, we'll check back in with you. Okay. Thank you very much. Here's a gem from the No Spin News Vault. His name is Victor Davis Hansen. You know him.
Starting point is 00:16:12 He's got a new book out called The End of Everything, How Wars Descend into Annihilation. I'm reading the book. I'm in a chapter with the ASTEPs, okay? Because I'm a history guy and I like all this stuff. So Professor Hansen, he teaches at Pepperdine, he's at the Hoover Institution, he's a busy guy, busy guy, but he's taken time out to join us now from Palo Alto, California. So number one about the book, I'm enjoying the book, but, you know, this is a hardcore history book. So people should know that. It's not contemporized. But the message certainly is,
Starting point is 00:16:48 because a lot of people feel that the USA is in steep decline on a number of fronts. Do you believe that? I do, and I didn't write the book for that purpose, but once I looked at these examples of Thebes and Carthage, and as you said, the Aztecs at Tenochitia and, of course, Constantinople, there were certain themes, Bill, that once powerful states or nations were in decline and yet in denial, they felt that they were as robust as ever, that the enemy wouldn't dare attack them, that there would be allies on the horizon to save them, that even if they were attacked, the nature of their enemies were not, they weren't existential, they didn't want to destroy them, who would want to do that.
Starting point is 00:17:32 And yet, so when I finished, I wrote an epilogue and looked at various places around the world where... Are you ready to dairy-free your mind? Starting point is 00:18:13 Oxyclean MaxForce spray tackles tough, set in stains the first time. Adulting is hard. Fighting stains shouldn't be. Oxyclean Maxforce. It's not clean unless it's oxyclean. There are bad actors like that, but more importantly, there are once powerful nations that don't reinvest in what once made them powerful, and yet they're in complete denial about their vulnerability. And I think the United States fits that pretty well. But I think a lot of the voters are worried.
Starting point is 00:18:41 I mean, my mail reflects that. I get thousands of letters. And it reflects that if Joe Biden, and I believe this myself, because I ought to be up front when I do my commentary, I believe another four years of Joe Biden will damage this country almost beyond repair. And I have a book coming out in September called Confronting the Presidents
Starting point is 00:19:02 where we evaluate every president, all 45, and where they help or hurt the country. Joe Biden has hurt the country so dramatically in three and a half years. He ranks up as his second worst president next to James Buchanan, the guy who totally booted the Civil War. Okay?
Starting point is 00:19:20 So another four years of a Biden who cannot even function on a day-to-day basis, and if he dies or incapacitated, Kamala Harris, because she's not going to kick her off the ticket, all right? Then I'm saying to myself, it's over because there are no restraints then. Biden's got some restraints now, which is why he issued the executive order on the border. He'll have none that. And so we'll have every front.
Starting point is 00:19:45 It'll be socialism. That's what I think is in play here. Socialism. Do you see it the same way? Yeah, I do. What's new about Biden is that the border was always poorest, but it was never non-existent. He's destroyed it as a concept. And we always had high crime spikes, but we never had a period where crime was legitimized as sort of a critical
Starting point is 00:20:09 legal theory or critical race theory that the oppressed had certain rights to take what wasn't theirs, for example. We've never borrowed a trillion dollars every 90 days. I mean, if he's going to be elected at that rate, we could borrow another 16 trillion. There is limits to that. And when we have all of this natural wealth and energy and food and people and we're not utilizing it or we're utilizing it in a destructive way. I'm very worried about the military, 45,000 recruits short. When you look at the people who are not joining Bill, they're the very demographic that died at double their numbers in Afghanistan and Iraq in the demographic. So they have done something and we could get, I don't want to get into it, to alienate white males from the interior or the rural areas of America
Starting point is 00:20:55 that traditionally were willing to go to god-awful places to serve their country. And so there's a lot of things going on that are very, very dangerous. And I agree entirely. And you know this as well as anybody. You saw the parallel with the Roman Empire that once the Romans could not recruit among Roman citizens and had to hire mercenaries, that was the beginning of the end of the empire. And now we don't have enough people to fill our military roles, whereas China and Russia are accelerating their military presence to a degree probably never before seen in their history.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Now, Joe Biden, if you trace his past in the Senate, he was never a left-wing bomb thrower. Now he is. What happened? Well, I think there was a Faustian bargain made in that 2020 primary race where they had all of these extremists, but it just. Corey, Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, et cetera, and they were all felt to be not competitive against Trump. And so there was an idea that they were all, remember, almost in unison they dropped out.
Starting point is 00:22:08 And the deal was that they knew that Joe Biden was cognitively challenged then, but he had a reputation of old Joe Biden from Scranton, and he would provide the proper veneer. But in exchange in that Faustian bargain, he was to outsource major appointments and even policy directives to the team that had been around Barack Obama. And I think that's what we got. He was supposed to be old Joe Biden from Scranton.
Starting point is 00:22:33 And then we've got Susan Rice, the Obama's, Eric Holder, and the foreign policy, Ben Rhodes, and all of those people who I think are directing the policy of the Biden administration. I think the bombers feel that they were the frontier, they were the pathbreakers into socialism, and they were restricted because they had to, they were the first people to be that radical. And now they feel a tinge of regret that we could have done so much more had we been more bold. But now Biden is this empty vessel that offers us an opportunity.
Starting point is 00:23:07 And that's what they're doing. All right. That's a good explanation, as they've heard. But remember, under eight years of Obama, he wasn't a bomb throwing far left guy. He deported more migrants than any other president in history. He didn't open the border. He was weak in foreign policy. There's no question about that.
Starting point is 00:23:27 And then his economics, you know, the Obamacare, you can make an argument on both sides. But it wasn't, you know, a punitive time for the American worker. Now it is. Do you believe Biden made that Faustian bargain, as you put it, consciously? This episode is brought to you by San Pellegrino Chau, a new kind of flavor sparkling water. Starting point is 00:24:50 I think it's the latter. I think his wife is playing sort of the Edith Wilson role and that she's got gatekeepers around him, but he was not aware of, I don't think he's aware of all at all of what he's saying or doing. I think you're right. Jill Biden is a villain, I think. But in Afghanistan, no cognizant president
Starting point is 00:25:14 would have done what he did. Barack Obama never would have done that. Never. In a million years, would he have done. abandon all of those weapons, put Americans and Afghans who helped the USA at risk, and turned over government to the Taliban. Barack Obama would not have done that. No, but there were people around Brock. He did. And remember that as we left, we had the pride flag flying from the embassy. We had a gender studies program at the University of Kabul. We had George Floyd murals. So we
Starting point is 00:25:45 were culturally imperialistic, but we didn't have the military heft. So that we, We suffered from both being culturally arrogant and then militarily weak. But no, that was from the people around Joe Biden, and he just signed off onto it. We've got a lot of radical people around him. I do think that Obama was very transparent when he once said, do you regret you didn't do things in which you ever liked a third term. And he famously said, well, you know, if I could just stay in my basement and phone it in without having to do the work, but I could phone in my directives, that would be.
Starting point is 00:26:20 an ideal third term. I think that was really something that we should have taken seriously, because I think that's where we are now. Yeah, but if he wants a third term, all he's got to do is put Michelle out there, and Michelle would probably win. Now, on the other side, democracy on the ticket, Trump is a fascist, everybody's, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is going to be put in a camp. This is cartoonish stuff. But do you think that some of the folks buy it? I think they will. I think when you look at these conspiracies theories or whatever they are, we forget they worked. I mean, Donald Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 as a result, probably of collusion. And none of those people were ever prosecuted that hired Christopher
Starting point is 00:27:11 Steele, Perkins Co, GPS, DNC. That was illegal to hire a foreign. national and then create that dossier and the laptop people when anthony blinkin rounded up those 51 authorities and that empowered joe biden in the debate and i think that had some bearing on the election none of those people were ever have ever apologized they've never admitted they lie to the american people anthony blinkin suffered no downside so when i look at these conspiracy theories they all seem to have had some utility and it suggests to me that whether you call them october or whatever, we're going to see a lot of them. You mentioned one, and I think there's going to be this narrative that Donald Trump is going
Starting point is 00:27:51 to end democracy, he's going to put people in camps, they're going to have all sorts of frenzy. I think another one is going to be that actually he's more debilitated than Joe Biden. He slurs his word. People in private meetings say that he's no more. Yeah, Trump does too much media. That's not going to go. I'd like to bring you back sometime this summer just to talk about. about your state, California.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Right now, there's a movement in California, as you well know, to block referendums that are on the ballot, okay, on crime and taxes by the far, far left legislature in Sacramento and Governor Newsom. They wanna stop the people from voting on crime, safety, and lower taxes. It's an unbelievable story that goes
Starting point is 00:28:42 to the totalitarianism of the left, but I don't have time to do it tonight. But will you come back sometime this summer and chat with me about it because you know a lot about that? Absolutely, Bill. I'll be happy to. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Thank you, Professor. Really, the book is The end of everything, how wars descend into annihilation.
