Tulsa King. take out the competition the substance this balance is not working and the naked gun that was awesome now that's a mountain of entertainment welcome welcome to the no spin news weekend edition all right listen to personal story here so as i mentioned confronting evil you got the opening chapter inside the Rade a horror on what they did on that day, all right, October 7, 2003, children were murdered
Starting point is 00:01:09 and taken hostage by these savages. One of the kids was Abigail Moore-Edon, three years old, three years old, taken by Hamas. And joining us now from New York City is Liz. Hersh Naftali. She is the aunt of Little Applegal, and she's written a book. And I recommend this book very highly to you, Saving Abigail, the true story of the abduction and rescue of a three-year-old hostage. So this must be a joyous day for you, Miss Nuffali, correct? Listen, it's a day of great joy and hope and heartbreak. I mean, it's been two years. And what we're seeing are young men, sons and fathers coming home,
Starting point is 00:02:07 and there is so much beauty in that. But we also know that, as you said earlier, there's still 26 others that aren't coming home alive, and they need to come home and be buried. But so it's one of those mixes of both like the most, amazing what President Trump and his team was able to accomplish was to bring these people free, but there are still people that need to come home and be buried. Rest assured, they will be.
Starting point is 00:02:35 They will be. By this time tomorrow, I expect that all of that will be done. Now, let's get to your niece. Now, and correct me if I'm wrong, because I had to read your book very quickly. So it's three kids and a home, two parents, right? Yes. Okay. Hamas savages kicked the door in and killed the parents and kidnapped the three kids.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Pretty much that's what happened, right? Actually, just a little change that they came in while my niece was putting the three kids in a safe room because missiles were flying and they murdered her in front of the three kids, three, six, and nine. And they ran outside and their father was a journalist and he had taken photos and he was running back because he had done this before. but he realized this morning, October 7th, 2023 was a terror attack. And he picked up Abigail and ran. The four of them were running, and he was murdered by the terrorists,
Starting point is 00:03:30 fell onto Abigail, and a six- and nine-year-old brother and sister ran back to their home and hid in a closet for 14 hours next to their mother's dead body. And Abigail, we thought had been killed, but she had actually miraculously survived and then was taken as a hostage
Starting point is 00:03:47 with another family into Gaza for 51 days. Okay. What happened to the kids who went into the safe room? The kids in the closet, they were rescued by what we would consider Navy SEALs after 14 hours while there was still a war going on in their community on October 7th. So were these Israeli forces that rescued him? Yes. Okay. So they're safe. But little Abigail, three years old again, is gone, kidnapped, out of there. And the parents are dead, killed in front of.
Starting point is 00:04:20 of their own offspring. It's just talk about confronting evil. I mean, my God. Okay. So Abigail gets out. Tell our audience how that happened. So Abigail was a hostage for 51 days with women and children. They were released at the end of November. There was a deal that was done by the Biden administration, brokered by the Qataris, and by the Egyptians. And when we saw Abigail on the third day of this release, I knew that she was safe. But a few days later, it broke down. And then nothing happened until 2025 when President Trump came in and he was able with Steve Whitkoff and his team to get that next deal, which we saw at inauguration time, started to bring home more hostages. Right. That was a deal that I mentioned. That deal began,
Starting point is 00:05:16 just so you know, I don't even know if you know this. About three weeks. after Trump was elected president. And it took about a month, five weeks for it to come to fruition. So Abigail's release, she comes home to Israel. Who takes care of her? So, Bill, like when you say she comes home, like her house was destroyed, this neighborhood, this community, destroyed by Hamas terrorists. So she does come back to my niece who did survive across this community,
Starting point is 00:05:50 on October 7th, she and her husband and their three kids miraculously survived. And she and her siblings went and lived and now live with them. And they live in a different part of the country because where they live, they can't go. And Abigail is being taken care of beautifully by her aunt and uncle, but without her parents. Okay. So the three children are reunited. An aunt and an uncle are caring for them. Now, you would say that maybe this is they live.
Starting point is 00:06:20 live happily ever after, but they can't possibly live happily ever after, can they, after all they've seen and been through? No. And, you know, when you tell people this story, and I've kept telling the story for now almost two years of what happened, it really, it touches people because a three-year-old child was taken as a hostage after witnessing her parents' murder. And here she is now a five-year-old and she goes to school, but everything that she has is, is based on a trauma of October 7th that she will carry with her for the rest of her life. Does she have manifestations of that? I know you're in very close touch with the family. Is it nightmares or is there anything about what she went through that is demonstrative today?
Starting point is 00:07:07 Listen, she knows she was a hostage. She knows that she was starved. She knows she was kept in the dark. She knows that there was no food and no hygiene. But she also, when she hears a loud boom and a loud sound, she does go like this because she was a hostage in a building that for 51 days, the area was being bombarded by the Israeli Defense Force as they were trying to, you know, bring home hostages at this child was suffering from it. So there are things like that, but, you know, she's a child. And what we are letting is for the things to come out from her naturally and to just give her the love. And what I've learned is, I'll just tell you, we had popcorn one day and she said, I got to eat popcorn one time in Gaza. And you think to yourself, that was her memory that one day she got to eat popcorn
Starting point is 00:07:55 in Gaza. And so when you know that, you know that she remembers everything. Oh, absolutely. Never forget it. The older children, do they have any kind of flashbacks that are consistent? You know, they're very closed at this point. They talk with their aunt and who are their parents, but it's really, we're letting it come out naturally. I got it. I got it. So they're not a child psychiatry or anything like that. You're just kind of letting them be kids, and then when it comes out, you'll deal with it, correct?
Starting point is 00:08:32 Right, but just keep in mind, all children that were affected by October 7th in Israel, thousands and thousands of children all have therapists, as do my family. And they were assigned by the government? By the government and by, it's been done both privately and with the government. privately and with the government, but literally everybody, Israelis are traumatized. You know, we talk about this great day and we talk about everything, but I know for our family until Abigail was released, we could not even begin to move forward. And I know for these families, they can just start to move forward with their loved ones home,
Starting point is 00:09:05 but it's a nation that is waiting to move forward emotionally. So you live in New York City. I'm right outside the city boundary. And then you see what happens at Columbia and about the demonstration. and the far left people, hate Israel, always have. How do you process that? Look, since the beginning when Abigail was taken, and I really say stolen, she was stolen on October 7th as an orphan.
Starting point is 00:09:36 And people then said to me when people were tearing down the posters and defacing a little child, I pitied them. I thought how sad that that is where people are and so hateful. And I, for two years, even when Abigail was taken, I was fighting for an end of the fighting, but it started with bringing back all of our hostages that were stolen. And Abigail was one of those, a three-year-old child. So one of the things that I will tell you is I believe, and President Trump has said this, and Steve Whitkoff has said it, is that we have to reject hate.
Starting point is 00:10:07 And that is hateful. What is going on in those campuses is hateful. And I look at myself and so many hostage families as looking, how do we actually bring a piece, which President Trump is dedicated to, that makes it safe for kids on both sides. So the irony of this moment, Bill, is that I believe that the work that we are doing and we can be different politically, but we are coming together, which is saying enough hate and how do we move forward and bring peace to the region. I don't know if you're going to get through to the real fanatical Mandani wing.
Starting point is 00:10:39 I mean, that must be painful for you as well. See that a guy might be elected the mayor of the city in which you live who can't stand Israel and you'll never convert them no matter what you do. Look, I've learned in this process. I'm going to talk to people who want to know the truth and want to work together. And I will say this that throughout my travels in the states, in New York and the world, there are truly a lot of really good people. And I believe they are not the, they are the majority and the minority of people that you've discussed
Starting point is 00:11:11 that are very loud and very vocal, I can't convince them to be on the side of truth and justice. So I'm going to talk to people who could be very different politically, very different nationally or religiously, but that want to know the truth and accept that on October 7th, there was a terror attack in Israel. And it affected Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Those people didn't care. They just wanted to kill. Well, that is the truth. So, Liz, we appreciate it very much. Again, the book is, Saving Abigail, the true story of the abduction and rescue of a three-year-old hostage. And you really want to know the truth, as Liz just said, you read this book. And we wish you to best, Liz.

You're listening to the No Spinoos News Weekend Edition.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I was bringing a guy who is monitoring the media. I didn't have a lot of time to do that last night because I'm unbelievably busy. Tim Graham is the executive editor of Newsbuster. He's a friend of this program. And I want to let everybody know that, that Tim has really helped us out. So I got a sheet in front of me. I want to talk about this Mary Bruce, who is a chief White House carous. for ABC News. I did not see this, but apparently she was doing what, while reporting on the Gaza situation.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Well, she can't give credit to Trump. Mary Bruce was well known to us for somebody when Joe Biden was president. She was always just glorifying everything that he did. Now they have to both sides everything. You know, this, yesterday, most of the networks, this was a day, when you saw so much touching video of reunions of these hostage families um and so obviously this is something Donald Trump caused so this was about the best press day Trump has had but somewhere in there somebody's got to not let him get all the credit sometimes they tried to balance it out and said, now let's go to the Palestinians and their happy reunions. Well, but to some degree, there is a difference between the two sides, right? Is that most of these Israelis were captured at a concert or something.
Starting point is 00:15:51 A bunch of the Palestinians that were in prison were in prison for violent crime. So I think you can't really balance those two out. Okay, and you think that Ms. Bruce tried to do that? Apparently, the anchor, Muir, had to interrupt her a call? couple of times and bring her back down to earth. Yeah, and that's really interesting because, again, usually you don't correct your reporter, you know, and I think it's, again, I think a day like this is a day when you want to stay positive. You could, you could sit here and say, well, we're not sure that this ceasefire
Starting point is 00:16:28 will hold. You can be pessimistic about whether Hamas is going to actually disarm. So, but on a day like this, when people have come out after more than two years in a horrible hostage situation where they were tortured or starved or, you know, where kept in tunnels could, you know, hadn't seen the sunlight. This is just a, it's a good news day. It's a good news day. So to try to rain on that parade, it's not the right day. Okay. But they didn't do it overtly, Even Ms. Bruce, to be fair to her, said that Trump's role was critical in this and whatever. Chrissian Amunpur, CNN, had to apologize. Now, we all know if you know this woman's history, but around a long time.
Starting point is 00:17:23 She's very pro-Arab. She's a Persian herself. But she's very, I want to be fair here. skeptical of Israel. Let's put it that way. So what does she apologize for? Yeah, I'm trying to be fair, Tim, you know. Well, you know, she grew up the first 11 years of her life in Tehran, and then they moved
Starting point is 00:17:52 to England, and then later they came to the United States. She's been at CNN for more than 40 years and has been a foreign correspondent for a large chunk of that before she came sort of this, the CNN. host yes we we have chronicled numerous times and especially since october seven twenty twenty three where she's very solidly come down on the palestinian side of things and this was certainly true yesterday where she was so out of tune with the way the day was going that she actually said that the israeli hostages were probably treated better than the average Ghazan. Again, tortured, starved, many of them ended up dead. It was just astonishing.
Starting point is 00:18:39 As I reported yesterday, CNN ordered their talent, their air talent, not to bash Trump on this story. That was a direct order given by Robert Thompson, who's in charge of CNN. So Amman Poor kind of got around that by not mentioning Trump, but trying to make a comparison. as you just said, an equivalency between how the Ghaz and civilians are treated, with the heavy hand of Israel, of course, as opposed to how the hostages were kidnapped are treated. But she did apologize, and that's because she wants a paycheck, right? It's a little bit like, if we can imagine, you remember, some of us remember, 1973, 74, when the Vietnamese, the American POWs came home from Vietnam, and you imagine some
Starting point is 00:19:35 anchorman saying, well, I'm sure our American POWs were treated nicer than the average Vietnamese. I don't think that would have been received well. And that was really just a terrible and tone-deaf thing to say. She was asked about just the situation in the ground that sadly the Western journalists weren't given enough access to go into Gaza and bash Israel, like they didn't bash Israel when they didn't have perfect access? Well, look, CNN has lost most of its audience and credibility because of its stance hating Trump and propping up the progressive movement. There's no doubt that that has happened.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Let's look to the future. So my analysis is this ceasefire between the media and Trump. is going to be less than maybe 36 hours. And then we'll be back to ISIS, the Gestapo, and the John Legend crew will then get back to what they do every day. Do you disagree with that? No, I think that their standard mode of operation is, yes, Trump is evil and anybody trying to enforce the immigration laws is evil.
Starting point is 00:20:52 It's very strange that law enforcement is like an evil force, but that is where they go. Now, the only way they don't do that domestic stuff again is if some of these Israel, the ceasefire, doesn't go as well as we would hope. And in that case, then they might say, well, for Trump, this is all coming apart. I mean, we have seen, you know, over 10 years,
Starting point is 00:21:15 this whole pattern of network news coverage of Trump is usually 89, 90, 91, 92% negative all the time. It was negative coverage of Trump on the networks after he was shot. So we can always predict that they're going to return to form and be negative about Trump. I agree. I think that the public, though, knows what the game is now and doesn't have any effect on anything other than a real dumb people who live in a bubble world and they hear things. on social media that get picked up. But the majority of American voters, they know what the game is, and they've made their decision.
Starting point is 00:22:01 And the media, obviously, has declined in an unbelievable way. I've been in the business 50 years, and this is the end of it, I think. It's the end of network and cable news, just a matter of who survives the longest. There's no growth anyplace. Nobody growing, and it's predictable, it's dull, and it's not. fair. One more question. Trump did congratulate the media on a trip back to the United States and said, you were fair and this and that. I thought that was a pretty effective statement, but I didn't see it much. I didn't see it around a lot. Ever heard of gold belly? It's an
Starting point is 00:22:43 amazing site that delivers the best of America's iconic foods right to your door anywhere in the USA. Yeah, I mean, let's guess with the average people in their audience who they expect to be anti-touchings. Trump. They don't want to show a clip of Trump saying you were pro Trump today or you were
Starting point is 00:24:53 fair to Trump today. They don't want the media to be fair to Trump. They want the media to wage war on Trump. That's what they expect. And as you suggest, that's one of the reasons why polls show that people don't see the media as fair and balanced or as accurate because they can understand that these people have a severe animus against the president. And it's going to get worst, there's going to be vengeance now because the president is succeeding. And when you succeed, and I'm the poster boy for this, they come at you as hard as they can come at you because they're so angry about that success. Hey, Tim, thanks very much. You really appreciate it. Here's a gem from the no-spin News Vault. Now, the opposition to Trump's Iranian decision
Starting point is 00:25:45 didn't always come from the left, there were some conservative people who didn't like it, and they're isolationist people. One of them is Eric Bowling, I think, I think it, because I can't quite make out, Bowling's point of view, roll a tape. Let's be on, so MAGA kind of has always believed
Starting point is 00:26:07 that Trump was not going to be involved in foreign wars. This is a bit of a, well, a certain faction of MAGA believes that this is a tough pill to swallow that we're actually bombing another country, especially because could it lead to World War III? Okay, so joining us now is the effervescent Eric Bowling from West Palm Beach, where he's tanned, locked, and loaded. He does a program. And never been out for the... And thank God.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Thank God for that. He does a program bowling on Real America's voice. So, bowling, are you for or against the bombing? Well, just yes or no? Yes, I am for or against the bombing. Let me explain. If I may, I was against the bombing because I hate the idea of an American pilot in harm's way. Okay, so you at first, at first you were against it.
Starting point is 00:27:02 And, and, and, and me further explained that I was against it because we had complete, or not we, I'm sorry, I correct myself because Trump did the same thing prior to the bombing. Israel had complete control of the airspace over Tehran, over the whole country of Iran. They were getting things done. I loved what they were doing. They were relentless. People were saying, okay, you know, you made your point in Israel. No, no, no, no. They were going to finish the job.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Now, did they have the 200 mile into the side of the mountain bunker busters? They didn't at the time. And then the my side or my brain, this side of my brain would say, okay, well, sell it to them. Sell Israel, the bunker buster bomb. Sell them in the mop, MOP. train a pilot. I don't care if it takes a month. Train the pilot how to fly it. How's this? Get a dual citizen, an Israeli-American pilot to fly it over, drop the bottom. You wouldn't have our fingerprints out. None of that would ever happen in any way at all because we are the only people in the
Starting point is 00:28:04 world that have that technology. We're going to hand it off to Israel. And there's not going to be any pilots that are not under the supervision or the panel. have gone, never, ever going to happen. Now that the bombing, now that the bombing has happened. Yes, yes. Okay. Now I look back at so far, and we're, what, 36 hours out, and it looks like a surgical strike that was precision. It was, as Pete Hagsett tells us, it obliterated the nuclear capability. We all know that. Are you for it or against it now? If it goes no further, Bill, I'm absolutely for it, and I think it's going to go no further because of what Trump said, You revolved. Air Force One, Marine One, and saying Israel and Iran, they don't know what the F they're doing, use the word. And I think he told the world, that was won and down and we're done. And it was, it was magical. It was almost spiritual. I think back to the day, Trump was shot in the ear in Butler, Pennsylvania. Bill, just bear with me one second. One inch either way. Now, I'm not just saying one inch towards his head would have killed the would-be next president, but one inch away from his ear. And it was.
Starting point is 00:29:12 wouldn't, yes, it would have been an assassination attempt, but wouldn't have the massive implications it does. But those of, if you believe in God, if you believe in the higher power, if you believe in the spirit, whatever you believe in, there's a reason he got hit in the ear and not taken out and not missed them completely. And this may be the reason, because what he did in the last 36 hours made the world a safe place. Okay. So now you've evolved on that. But you're still essentially an isolationist. And you don't support U.S. funding Zelensky in Ukraine. Or am I wrong on that? No, you're 100% right. You're 100%. You don't want any money going to Ukraine, right?
Starting point is 00:29:52 Correct. Okay, correct. So if we pull out back and Putin takes the whole country, which is what he wants to do, then you know China goes to Taiwan takes that. Is that okay with you? I mean, is it okay? I think a smart president would beef up our chip capacity chip producing capacity in the United States because frankly Taiwan, the best interest to us in Taiwan is their ability to produce Silicon Valley type chips. If we can
Starting point is 00:30:22 up our game with Nvidia and the other chip makers, even Taiwan semiconductor for that matter, I think it's none of our business if China takes it on. So you let Taiwan go, you let Ukraine go. Why would they stop then? Why wouldn't Putin then go to
Starting point is 00:30:38 Moldova? Why wouldn't China then move into South Korea and help the nut in North Korea destabilize that. So in isolation is basically saying, look, you know that that's, that's a little. No, you don't know. You may have, have eyes on the prize with their other countries in Europe. There's no guarantee of anything other than my eyewitness report when I was in China. And I can tell you the 100% certainty, if Putin's allowed to take over Ukraine, then China will march into Taiwan. That's what will happen, 100%. So if you're okay,
Starting point is 00:31:12 with that. How will that affect you, Bill O'Reilly? How it will affect is it causes chaos in the world. It destabilizes the entire world. When you have two, when you have two, it's a crazy world. Hey, when you have two totalitarian regimes expanding and taking over foreign countries, invading and taking over, you do not have a safe world. you cannot hide in Idaho and worldwide economy will just be battered and you think it's bad now the conflicts where do you see the chaos that those totalitarian nations will cause if not restrained and this is history bowling and you can't argue history with me because I'll you know I'll dissolve you into pudding but it's history all right isolationism has never worked particularly in a society now that's intertwined planet-wise.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I don't necessarily think of a total isolationist. I'm a anti-war, America-first human being. But America is not going to be first. China will be first. We still are a part of NATO. And I've never said remove ourselves from NATO. But you don't want military action. Well, if you really don't want Putin to take Ukraine, put them in NATO.
Starting point is 00:32:35 And then you've opened yourself a whole. Put Putin in NATO? Putin's not going to go into NATO. Put Ukraine in NATO. Put Ukraine and NATO, allow Ukraine to enter NATO. That would then, that would give Putin justification. If you allowed Ukraine into NATO, that would heighten Putin's justification to the Russian people, to the only people that can stop them at this point.
Starting point is 00:32:58 All right. So now you have, you're an isolationist. Bannon is, Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson is. 20th Century Studios presents, a legendary movie of that, Springsteen, deliver me from nowhere. Don't, no, God, Sam, Scott, Gus, maybe we were born to run. Golden Globe winner Jeremy Allen White.
Starting point is 00:33:20 That's it. That's the Sam. Academy Award nominee Jeremy Strong. It's a story you want to tell. I think we got that. Yeah, we got that one. Deliver me from nowhere. Only in theaters, October 24th.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Get tickets now. What are the new technologies that will change aviation? Hydrogen would be one for sure if we got there. I mean, hydrogen is not just a alternative fuel. I mean, hydrogen would change it significantly if we ever managed to break the back of that. Today, I'm speaking with Kalin Rovinescu, the former president of Air Canada, and a trailblazer in global aviation. Join me, Chris Hadfield, on the On Energy podcast. Starting point is 00:34:08 How big do you think that constituency is within the Republican Party, the isolationist movement? How big is it? I think it was huge until Trump decided to go forth with this. Like, I think a lot of we, many of us, I call Steve Bannon, the true north of the original gangster MAGA crew. He was the original don of that. And I think until Trump actually went forward in Iran with a bombing, that split people. Then they put people like Tucker. I think Tucker was more the hardliner against it.
Starting point is 00:34:45 And Steve and the Hannity and Mark Levine were very much, very much pushing for Trump to go ahead. But where are we now now? Where are we in your opinion? I think there's a there's a split in maggot that needs to be. 50-50 split? Maybe 60-40 in favor of what Trump did, maybe 70-30 in favor of the action. So you don't know. All right, because I don't know either.
Starting point is 00:35:09 I mean, I suspect that most Republicans support Trump in this action. Now, if it goes south and all of these other things happen, unintended consequences, which Iran is too weak to really make anything happen. Let's say something crazy did happen. then you would get more people would more would come over to the isolationist movement. All right, last word. I mean, they're too weak to do anything aggressively, but they're not too weak to, you know, to fortify and finance their sleeper cells
Starting point is 00:35:44 and their hooties and their Hamas and always going to have them. And attack us internally on a smaller basis, which. But that's not because of the bombing. They're already here. They just made a big bus. They just made a big bus in Connecticut. get these people here of the 12 of the 2 million Iranians who are in this country they caught 11 which is great the Biden let them all in you want ice around
Starting point is 00:36:06 Biden let them all in so they're already here they don't need an excuse okay they're here and they're not here to get a job at 7-Eleven last question for you the final word on this isn't going to be until Trump leaves office okay because it It's not like Iran, they may go away, and the army may overthrow them all, so let's hope. But Putin, he's psychotic. I mean, you're reading my book now, I know, confronting evil. And when you see how psychotic that man is, that we need a strong leader. And there have been accusations that Trump is too soft about Putin.
Starting point is 00:36:54 There have been accusations that he's too soft on him. so we're never going to have a peaceful world last word i i 100% agree by the way your book is phenomenal this is the best book thank you i i've read i just started i received it yesterday i started paging through it last and i started reading it so i want to just have a little bit of an idea what it's about it's gripping it's it's really it's your best work so far um with the maybe the exception of you throwing jp morgan and uh and in rockelor into the midst of the evil with the evil people they are evil but we'll get back we can talk about that another time but it was fascinating how you take people from this man won't be alive at the end of the day or tomorrow and
Starting point is 00:37:37 then you explain why and then you go back to the roots of the evil that's causing so much of the evil in the world it's fantastic book um where are we going from here uh i i would say magin needs to needs to get get theirself together again figure it out um and and again hopefully it's done hopefully we're finished hopefully absolutely nobody wants to He doesn't give nukes to Iran or hopefully China doesn't give nukes to Iran. They're not going to give nukes. It may escalate it and that would be bad. But I think right now Donald Trump has proven to the world that you don't dispute Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:38:10 I dispute his ideas on tariffs. And so far I'm wrong. I didn't think we should attack Iran. As of, you know, this day right now today. All right. Probably wrong. We will know to the end of the year. And I hope I'm wrong forever.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Okay. I'm going to do terrorists now. We won't know to the end of the year. Bowling, thanks very much. Everybody, check out bowling, all right, on Real America's Voice.
