Hey Bill O'Reilly here, and we have for you a special, a no spin news special.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Because we're taking a few days off, but we don't want to leave you bereft. Another word of the day. So the summer of 2024, one of the worst in modern American history. And yet Biden, On the debate stage, that was a catastrophe. Butler, Pennsylvania, President Trump almost killed. It was on and on and on and on. And so we're going to look back on our coverage.
Starting point is 00:01:20 And I like to do this because of our accuracy level. So what we told you real time, 2024, I'm going to replace some of it. And you're going to see how we framed it and whether we were accurate or not. It's like a report card. You know, it's like a final exam. We handed it in. We get a grade. So I think you like it.
Starting point is 00:01:48 And the summer of 2024 was not the summer of love. That's for sure. So let's roll a tape on that. I told you beginning in early March that something big was going to happen to influence the 2024 presidential vote. You remember that. I've said it probably too many times. Well, last night was it. That was it. That was huge. That was the worst presidential debate performance by a candidate in our history. It was pathetic. It was depressing because this man is in charge of all of us, and it is dangerous. He should not be in that position. And there is no doubt about it anymore. Let me prove my case.
Starting point is 00:02:52 So we begin with the two men entering the debate arena. They hate each other. No eye contact, no handshake. No handshake at the end. They despise each other personally, big time. Trump looked a little tired, okay? But he didn't look bad, and they were shooting him tight, which means you saw close-ups of him. You didn't notice this, but I did.
Starting point is 00:03:23 They very rarely, CNN, shot Biden tight. Biden was very pale. His voice was raspy, and when he started to decline in the debate, very quickly, there was something put out that he had a cold. But that did not stop him from going to the Waffle House after the debate. But he did not look good. Okay. The moderators, Dana Bash and Jake Tapper, were told before the debate, and this is anonymous source, and you don't have to believe it. But I know it's true.
Starting point is 00:04:02 They were told by the new CEO of CNN to not allow their liberal ideology to be demonstrated during the debate. They were ordered not to do that. And the reason was that CNN is in so much desperate trouble, they are now below 500,000 viewers in prime time. Remember, I did six million viewers on the two runs at Fox News for the factor. So the debate begins, all right? And in the first minute, the first minute, Biden makes a big verbal mistake. Go. The economy collapsed.
Starting point is 00:04:52 There were no jobs. Unemployment rate rose to 15%. It was terrible. And so what we had to do is try to put things back to. together again. That's exactly what we began to do. We created 15,000 new jobs. We brought out in a position where we have 800,000 new manufacturing jobs, but there's more to be done. 15,000 new jobs, of course. He meant 15 million new jobs. Pretty significant mistake. I've made mistakes like that. I've misspoken. But that's a big
Starting point is 00:05:29 one, 15,000 new jobs we've created, come on. And he didn't hear it in his mind to correct himself. When I saw that, I went, going to be a bad night for the President Biden. All right. Then, in 10 minutes into the debate, I want to be very precise here, so you follow what I'm following 10 minutes in the president of the United States totally collapses go we have a thousand trillionaires in America I mean billionaires in America and what's happening they're in a situation where they in fact pay 8.2% in taxes if they just paid 24% 25% either one of those numbers they've raised 500 million dollars billion dollars I should say in a 10 year period we'd be able to wipe out his debt we'd be able to have
Starting point is 00:06:25 help make sure that all those things we need to do, child care, elder care, making sure that we continue to strengthen our health care system, making sure that we're able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I've been able to do with the COVID, excuse me, with dealing with everything we have to do with, look, if we finally beat Medicare. sensible. Jibberish. Now, it's painful to watch that. For me, I know a lot of people despise Joe Biden. I don't personally. I think he's the second worst president of history. I've said that too many times. I'll back that up in my upcoming book. But I'm sitting there going, remember, everybody in the world's watching this. And he's going, trillionaires, no billionaires, no billion, no million, and then we finally beat Medicare. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:07:30 What does that mean? And he's throwing out stats that are absolutely false, but they both did that. Okay, but you go, uh-oh. And I knew then that Joe Biden is finished. He is not going to be on the ballot in November, I predict. And if he is, it's going to be a landslide for Trump. So the Trump people want him to be on the ballot now after that. Okay, so that was 10 minutes into the debate, but that was just the beginning of the verbal chaos.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Go. There had to take out student loans that were ballooning, that if they were engaged in nursing, doctor, anything having to do with volunteers or investment in America, over millions, billions of dollars in private investment in enterprises that we are growing. By the way, we brought awful lot of people the whole idea of computer chips. What I did, for example, he wants to get rid of the ability of Medicare to, for the ability to, for us to be able to negotiate drug price with the big pharma companies. Well, guess what?
Starting point is 00:08:48 We got it, we got it down in $15, excuse me, $35. And I'm going to continue to move until we get the total ban on the, the total initiative relative to what we're going to do with more border patrol and more asylum officers. President Trump? I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don't think he knows what he said either. Now, Trump was fairly gentle about the verbal gaffes last night. He was restrained Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:09:18 And that was a good strategy for him because this is like, you know, somebody down on the ground getting kicked. And there's no doubt about it. It's, all right, it's tragic. That's what it is. Now, Biden had maybe two or three good moments in 90 minutes. Here was his strongest moment. Go. He sat there for three hours, three hours watching, begging, being begged by his vice president
Starting point is 00:09:50 and a number of his colleagues in the Republican side as well to do something, to call for a stop, to end it. Instead, he talked about these people being patriots and great patrons of America. In fact, he says he'll now forgive them for what they've done. Until obviously talking about January 6th, Trump really didn't have a meaningful reply to that other to blame Nancy Pelosi for failing to call on National Guard, which is true. Pelosi even admitted that, and we extensively reported on that. But that was a high point for Biden. saying that Trump didn't do it even three hours.
Starting point is 00:10:26 That's true. That's true. Okay. Now, on the Trump side, his strongest moment was pounding Joe Biden over the southern border, will it? And because of his ridiculous, insane, and very stupid policies, people are coming in and they're killing our citizens at a level that we've never seen. We call it migrant crime. I'd call it Biden migrant crime. They're killing our citizens at a level that we've never seen before.
Starting point is 00:10:57 And you're reading it like these three incredible young girls over the last few days. One of them I just spoke to the mother. And he just had the funeral for this girl, 12 years old. This is horrible what's taken place. What's taken place in our country. We're literally an uncivilized country now. He doesn't want it to be. He just doesn't know.
Starting point is 00:11:18 He opened the borders. That was devastating. And remember, he could have been worse if Trump had said the President of the United States has not called any of the victims of the migrant crime, which he hasn't. We went over Lake and Riley. We went over all of that. Just today, a young girl in Syracuse, New York, was murdered. Migrants charged with it. So, Biden then, is in a spot, right? He needs to rise up because that's a reason. That's the most emotional thing about the whole debate is the violence stemming from the open border. I want you to listen to this sound by very, very carefully.
Starting point is 00:12:03 This is the worst statement I have ever heard or read in all of my research on the presidents, the worst statement by a president of the United States. Roll it. Look, there's so many young women who have been, including a young woman who just was murdered and he went to the funeral and the idea that she was murdered by by by an immigrant coming into they talk about that but here's a deal there's a lot of young women are being raped by their by their by their spouses brothers and sisters by just it's just ridiculous are you kidding I really don't know what to say there's a lot of women young women being raped by their in-laws
Starting point is 00:12:57 brothers and sisters. Does a rational human being say that? No. It's not about cognitive decline anymore, it's about rationality. That man, Joe Biden, does not know what he is saying, or doing, in my opinion. That was frightening. In Toronto, every arrival is a statement, and nothing says it better than this. Cadillac Optic was the number one selling luxury EV in Canada for 2025. Find your rhythm across a seamless 33-inch display and an immersive 19 speaker
Starting point is 00:13:34 AKG surround audio system. This city demands agility and optic delivers with precision to make every drive extraordinary. Let's take the Cadillac. Find out more at Cadillac Canada.ca. Luxury sales claim based on S&P Global Mobility Canadian New Vehicle Total Registrations
Starting point is 00:13:49 for calendar year 2025 for the Cadillac definition of luxury. Then he said this. Go. We significantly increased the number of asylum officers, significantly, by the border patrol endorsed me, endorsed my position. Well, at 933, the Border Patrol Union issued this statement on X, quote,
Starting point is 00:14:11 to be clear, we have never and never will endorse Biden. Now, all the liberal papers and everything like that, Trump's lies, Trump's lies, Trump's lies. Okay, you saw it, you heard it. flat out, there's Joe. Now, I'm not going to do balls and strikes on lies and exaggerations. That's insane. Okay? But the union, in the middle of the debate, goes, no, we never endorsed them and we never will.
Starting point is 00:14:43 He doesn't get any more clear than that. Okay. So the closing statements, I was going to play you the closing statements, 38 seconds, but I'm not going to do it because they're so pedestrian, they don't mean anything. Usually a closing statement in a debate is like to make you sore. Both Trump and Biden, it was just the same old, okay? So I'm not going to bother playing it. Let's go to reaction.
Starting point is 00:15:14 It's one of those powerful Democrats in the country is David Axelrod. He works for CNN. He was the architect of Barack Obama's victories. and the probably closest advisor to Obama, even now. Here's what Axelrod said. I think what it says to a lot of people, a lot of active Democrats, is, man, we can beat this guy,
Starting point is 00:15:33 but I don't know if we can beat him with the press guys. Scott, we haven't heard for you. You can't beat him with Biden, all right? MSNBC, it was a funeral. Okay? Joy Reid, you know. You know MSNBC. Okay, you know what?
Starting point is 00:15:50 that is. Rule the tape. Joe Biden's job was to reassure them tonight. His job was to calm his party, to make them feel that, yes, I can do this. I have four more years in me. I have the ability and the stamina and the strength to do four more years. He did not do that. He did the opposite of that. He made them more panicked.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Incredible statement from a woman who everything's about race, white supremac, presidency, Biden's the greatest. Not anymore, apparently. CNN also, almost a funeral. Go. That was painful. I love Joe Biden. I worked for Joe Biden. He didn't do well at all. He did not do well at all. But he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence of the country and of the base. And he failed to do that. The only one we could find beside Jill Biden that thought that Joe Biden did well in debate was Governor Gavin Newsom. Go. Well, I don't know the substance. He won the debate.
Starting point is 00:17:02 I'm old school. I'm old-fashioned. That's what matters to me. Now, just keep that in mind because Newsom is being considered to replace Joe Biden, which would be good for the Republicans and Trump because Newsom has wrecked California. righted it and for him to say a statement like that you know what you're getting all right newspapers full-screen newspapers here is the la times quote headline biden's verbal stumbles trumps morals of an alley cat six debate takeaways reuters news service president biden struggles as Trump stretches truth in first debate.
Starting point is 00:17:48 I'm sorry, Biden falters as Trump unleashes falsehoods during the presidential debate. They're also similar. Here's a Boston Globe, very liberal paper. President Biden struggles as Trump stretches the truth in first debate. It might be the same guy writing all of these. Then the New York Times, which is absolutely panicked now. Trump's debate performance, relentless attacks and falsehoods. Doesn't even mention Biden.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Doesn't even mention it. Washington Post lost 77 million last year. Biden stumbles in fiery debate as Trump spreads falsehoods. All right, that's fair reporting, right? Fair headlines from newspaper industry around the country? I got a million of that. And then on the other side, the right, the conservative, there was. gloating. Go.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Well, the reality is, I mean, the discussion beforehand is, were they going to drug him up? I think they give him a lobotomy instead. Well, look, I think they're going to desperately try to get Joe Biden off the ticket because he was such a disaster tonight. But they can't. It's too late. All right. I wouldn't be gloating if I were the Republican Party. Trump, again, was restrained. That, now going forward, would be a strategy. be a strategy he might consider. He doesn't need to attack Biden any longer. Everybody has it now. Any honest person has it. You'll still get the zealots. You'll get the zombies. You'll get them.
Starting point is 00:19:25 They'll vote for Biden. But any honest person knows that Joe Biden is finished. Okay. And he is. So Trump doesn't have to hammer him. You know, he can certainly point out what he wants to point out. But looking forward about what Trump's going to do for the American people would be a better strategy for him, in my opinion. All right. Now, I was on TV, both before and after the debate, on News Nation, which is a network on the rise. And the reason it is is because they are making an attempt to balance things. All right, so I go on Chris Cuomo's program. He's an ardent liberal.
Starting point is 00:20:08 a traditional guy who will challenge that kind of thinking, and you see it. And it works. Okay? And you don't see that on Fox. You don't see it on MSNBC or CNN much. You don't see it anymore. So there was a fact check by NewsNation anchor Elizabeth Vargas. Go. He said it was a made-up story that he said there were very fine people on both sides in Charlottesville. he's on camera saying exactly that. He said, migrants are living in luxury hotels. They are not. They're living in hotels in New York City.
Starting point is 00:20:45 They're definitely not luxurious. All right. On a Charlottesville thing, I wrote the United States of Trump, a best-selling book, number one, on the New York Times list. And I investigated exactly what happened there. All right? Apparently, Ms. Vargas did not read that book, so I had to fill her in.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Go. The fact checked on News Nation was, wrong. I'm sorry to say it. But I wrote a book, the United States of Trump, and the good persons on both sides remark was made in the context of taking down Confederate statues. That is the truth. Documented truth. So Trump was talking about the demonstration in the first place was fueled by one side wanting to take down Confederate statues, the other side not wanting to do that. And Trump said there are good people on both sides. It wasn't saying that the Nazis who rolled into town were good people.
Starting point is 00:21:49 How many times have you heard that? How many times? And that's why the press has lost all credibility in this country. Okay, so I summed up the debate on News Nation. last night this way. Go. Biden's not going to be on the ballot. Biden's not going to be on him. He's not. He's not going to be there, all right?
Starting point is 00:22:14 He's going to do what LBJ did in 68. He's going to retire, all right, health reasons. The vote of the convention, Biden will give his delegates to whoever the chiefs. In Chicago again. Right. In Chicago again. With the pro-Hamas nuts causing as much problem as they can. It'll be chaos.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Because they're really anarchist. It's going to be chaos. But Biden is not going to be, he's not going to go up against Trump in November. It's going to be someone else. And my money is on Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania. You know, I could be wrong on that, obviously, but that's my money is on. In Toronto, every arrival is a statement. And nothing says it better than this.

Starting point is 00:23:23 When Westcham first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different. People thought denim on denim was peak fashion, inline skates were everywhere, and two out of three women rocked the Rachel. While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when Westjet welcomes you on board. Here's to Westjetting since 96. Travel back in time with us and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years. The world feels increasingly unstable. Between global conflicts and skyrocketing debt, smart investors are ditching the dollar for hard assets like gold.

Starting point is 00:24:53 866 501-501 or text bill to 65532. Or click the link in the video description. scripture. Another bad day for America. And there's nothing else you can say about it. This is a situation that has happened before in our history. Everybody knows that. Very similar, by the way, to what happened to Teddy Roosevelt in 1912 when he was giving a speech and somebody walked up and shot him in the chest. The speech paperwork was inside his jacket, had saved his life. And Teddy went on and completed the speech. And it was the same kind of madness
Starting point is 00:25:40 that we are experiencing now more than 100 years later. And it's never going to stop. So when you hear people in the subsequent day say, oh, this or that, a rifle is, or gun, that, it's never going to stop. Haters are haters. They'll find a way to commit violence.
Starting point is 00:25:58 And the government can't control it. And that's the truth. Now, the logistics of it all, as we are in airtime, the would-be assassin has been shot to death by the Secret Service. He was outside the perimeter of the rally. He was on a building. And apparently some people saw him climb up to the top of that building with a rifle and tried to get the attention of police, but were unsuccessful. That will all be investigated in subsequent days, as will, who the guy was and whether he had any help. And it'll be fascinating to find out who the would-be assassin actually was and if there was anyone else involved.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Secret Service did what it could do. I do believe that there's going to be scrutiny on the service for not making sure that the buildings surrounding the site were clean. But again, that's not vital tonight. All of those things will reveal themselves. What is important is a reaction of Donald Trump, President Biden, President Obama, and the American people. So we'll start with Mr. Trump, and you saw the blood on his ear, a couple of inches from death, headshot. He said from the hospital on Truth Social, quote, I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement for the rapid response on the shooting that just took place
Starting point is 00:27:24 Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally was killed, also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It's incredible that such an act can take place in our country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felled the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding to place, so I realized then what was happening. God bless America. A factual statement. All right, no rancor. I believe that Donald Trump, as anybody would be, is angry and very, very sad. And there may be another
Starting point is 00:28:10 wounded civilian as well. We're trying to get the details on that. So the first one to react on the Democratic side was former President Obama. He beat President Biden to the punch, as they say, in a cliche. Somebody went on TV, and he issued a statement that, you know, was okay. Nothing wrong with it at all.
Starting point is 00:28:38 But he should have issued it sooner. And I actually tweeted that. You can read all my tweets, by the way, on bill o'Reilly.com. But I'm not criticizing Mr. Biden tonight because he did one very noble thing, said, I want to call Donald Trump. I have tried to call him.
Starting point is 00:28:54 And obviously we understand why Mr. Trump can't take a phone call. He can't understand that. He seems to get his ear stitched up or whatever. But Obama reiterated, I'm sorry, Biden reiterated twice that he wants to talk to Donald Trump. And I hope that happens. All Americans should hope that happens.
Starting point is 00:29:15 The two men talk in a civil way and say, look, Let's stop all the rancourt. Let's just run on our records and our vision. And stop this. Now, in times like these, Americans, and I mean, I can't tell you how many emails and texts I get from family and friends and from everybody, it's always the same theme that everybody's just sad, not angry so much, but sad. There are people who are angry, and I understand both emotions. But it's just like, you know, we're a great country.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Why does it keep happening? Well, there's something that all of us can do. And that's my theme tonight, and it will be all of next week. We've got to stop the hate brigades on television and imprint to a lesser extent. We've got to stop these people, and you and I can do it. We can stop the hate brigades. Now, who are they? And I'm going to name some of them in a moment.
Starting point is 00:30:12 They're the people that throw out on both sides, but primarily, on the left. Okay, the stack is about six to one. In terms like Nazi, fascist, racist, anti-democracy, routinely throw it out, whipping up emotions against the individual layer targeting. That is a hate brigade. These people, some of them, are paid by big corporations. to hate. Now, I've been doing commentary for 27 years. I don't do hate. I do criticism. I try not to do ad hominem. Very, very rarely will I bring that argument in. Because my arguments are usually fact-based are stronger than the arguments against me. I win the debate. Almost 99% of the time, as you know, you guys watch me for a while.
Starting point is 00:31:14 But the haters go on and they try to destroy the opposites. position. All the MAGA people are idiots. All right. They're beneath contempt. If you like Trump, I'm not talking to you. You can't work in Hollywood if you like Trump. These are the haters. Okay, so let's get specific. MSNBC is the most hateful network in the history of the United States. It is run by Comcast, NBC News. Comcast is a very profitable corporation out of Philadelphia. Its CEO is a guy named Brian Roberts, who I hear is a decent man. But Mr. Roberts allows hatred every single day, pays for it on MSNBC. The primary offenders on that network are a woman named Joy Reed, who is branding people racist almost every hour on the hour, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Lawrence O'Donnell for years brings a level of scorn to anyone he disagrees with politically. The horrible person, in my opinion. And there are others too, but those two consistently do it. Reed and O'Donnell. Now, Brian Roberts is responsible for that. not reading O'Donnell, they're making big money doing it. Selling that hate, Comcast writing a check. How about ABC News?
Starting point is 00:32:52 Their nightly news is responsible. Good Morning America, responsible. How about the view? A lot of hate. And the chief cheerleader of that hate is Joy Behar. And she has been doing this for decades. decades. And she gets a check every week from Disney, which is run by a man named Bob Eiger. Okay? Iger is apparently okay with Joy, uh, Behar, who's been there forever.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Hating, hating, hating, hating. Am I wrong? And we go over to CNN. Two names, Jim Acosta. Is there anyone who hates Donald Trump more than this individual? On and on and on and on. They had to move him out of the White House because he was so hateful and put him on a weekend. A woman named Abby Phillip, this Philip's specialty is branding people racist. She did it to me, just like Joy Reed.
Starting point is 00:34:14 That's her game. We disagree with you, you're racist. Okay? CNN has a new CEO, an Englishman named Mark Thompson. Now, CNN's brand is ruined. Mr. Thompson is not in there to save it. He just laid off 100 more people. They're not coming back.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And the reason they're coming back is because they can't out-hate MSNBC. So the far-left loons who want this stuff, they go to MSNBC because MSNBC is. more hateful than CNN. So CNN's left with no one. And that's why I've never seen lower numbers. It's just incredible what's happening over there. How about Lynn Cheney?
Starting point is 00:35:10 Lynn Cheney, about as hateful a person as you could possibly get, the voters of Wyoming threw her out, three to one. How about Jennifer Rubin? woman? Washington Post, she's a pundit on, you don't get more hateful than that woman. And I had my go around, just Google Bill O'Reilly, Jennifer Rubin, you'll see what she's got. Because I gave her a chance to redeem herself.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Okay. So what everybody should do is write letters to the CEOs of any organization that you find hate on. And there's right-wing hate and on Monday on the NOSPN News. I'll run a montage of hatred on the right. I'm going to do it. Because it's not as common as what's on the left, but it's there. Vitriolic, we want to destroy you.
Starting point is 00:36:20 But tonight, because Donald Trump came within an inch of losing his life, we're concentrating on the Trump haters. In Toronto, every arrival is a statement, and nothing says it better than this. Cadillac Optic was the number one selling luxury EV in Canada for 2025. Starting point is 00:39:24 attacks poured into me from all over the world and a Russian acquaintance of mine, all right, said, we had the news in Russia, the Russian media reported it before the American media. Now, I can't verify that, all right, but I went, oh, it's not out of question, because people knew, all right? So I wrote a column that comes on the website, Bill O'Reilly.com, and I posted a column seven hours before, Joe Biden quit, and it basically says Joe Biden is through. All right? This is the end.
Starting point is 00:40:04 I quoted the doors. I hope you read the column because people now are looking at me strangely. They're going, uh-oh. Is this Karnak, the magnificent, and old Johnny Carson thing? And I'm going to explain how I knew all of this was going to come down and our reporting verifies it. All right. So it's not that I'm exaggerating or doing anything like that. We can verify everything to say. So let's walk through it. Okay. So President Biden's been in the federal government for 52 years. He's 81 years old. He has never really been in charge at the White House, as we have extensively reported. It has been the people around him that run the government. And they are progressive people, very, very far left people. You do not know their names. Even though I've reported their names five, ten times. to you. You can look it up on bill o'Reilly.com. It's a tight cabal of people that opened the border,
Starting point is 00:40:59 that ignited inflation. Biden himself is just a figurehead. Yeah, he went to a few meetings, but he never really had grasp of the executive branch. And the best assessment of that recently is he has not even fired or suspended that of the Secret Service, who will have to testify tomorrow, we're all over that. Okay, that woman should be suspended like that after President Trump was shot eight days ago. It's been quite a series of eight days, has it not? I mean, you live in history here. All right, anyway, so Biden calls it quits.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Why? Did anybody tell him, anybody force him? No. If you go back to the debate, I wrote a column after the debate that predicted this was going to happen a little bit quicker than it did. I did factor in Jill Biden. Jill Biden, she, her opposition to her husband resigning, kept this going for longer than it would ordinarily have.
Starting point is 00:42:01 You have a disastrous performance like the debate, you go, because you know that Americans see that, and you're not going to be able to overcome that. But Jill Biden, absolutely, and she has 100% control over her husband. 100%. No one gets to Joe Biden without Jill Biden being there. And I mean talking calls, texts, no one. And Jill Biden told the White House staff, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:42:28 We're not going. We're running against Trump. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But you'll notice in the last five days, you haven't heard anything for Jill Biden. So what happened? Okay. The polling was slipping fast. Just this morning, a Detroit news poll out of Michigan, obviously, had Biden down by seven against Trump in the swing state of Michigan.
Starting point is 00:43:00 And I can give you, you just go to real clear politics.com, and you look at all the swing states are all in the Trump camp, Virginia, and places like that. So the Democratic machine, the people who do crunch the numbers, they knew that the slide was continuing. And then after President Trump got shot, he got a sympathy vote. And then the Republican convention was very successful. Uniting, 90% of Republicans are united, according to the polls, behind Trump. There's no way Biden could beat him. There's no way. And we'll do the numbers for you tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:43:38 We'll crunch him. but this just couldn't do it unless Trump does something, you know, in the sense of a debate, debacle. He'd have to do something at that level. Okay, so the numbers people are basically coming in, and then Obama and George Clooney and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Chu. You know, I call them the liberal mousquetiers. They're all getting up on by.
Starting point is 00:44:03 You got to go, you've got to go, you've got to go. All right. Who could stand up to that? Nobody. Nobody could stand up. And if you don't believe me, when my book Confiriting the Presidents comes out, you'll see what happened on Lyndon Johnson. He booted the Vietnam War. Totally booted it, Johnson.
Starting point is 00:44:21 And they came to him, they said, you can't. You know, you're going to lose. We got to get Bobby Kennedy in here before Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in 68. All right? And LBJ resigned, just like Biden. Same exact thing. you cannot go up against your own party. You can't.
Starting point is 00:44:45 That's why Biden had to quit. You saw a few people on television going, you know, the guy in South Carolina and Claiborne. It's ridiculous. It was ridiculous. MSNBC, absurd, absurd, what they were doing. And I went up against some commentators. You saw it, I hope.
Starting point is 00:45:06 and they're telling me, oh, no, it's all going to happen, you know. Okay, fine. I mean, we're in a no-glot zone tonight, so I'm not going to be trying to hammer these people, but you know what I'm talking about. Okay, so Biden knew on Friday, all right, two days ago, that it was over. Kamala knew a week before that Kamala's statement, and I'll read it to you in a moment,
Starting point is 00:45:33 common statement was written about a week ago because comal harris those people knew that biden was not going to stay in so they wrote the statements that they'd have it joe bide himself and jill wherever jill is i don't even know who she is i guess she's in delaware at the beach house but you haven't seen her but they knew friday and they were trying to figure out all right maybe a miracle will happen maybe trumpled dropped dead, you know, maybe, and then it was obvious nothing was going to happen, because over the weekend, polling came in a terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible. So today, in the middle of the day, very, very unusual. On a Sunday, very unusual, okay? They drop it.
Starting point is 00:46:23 They usually do it. If they don't want you to hear about it, they do on Friday. They want you to hear about it. They do it on Monday morning. But Friday afternoon. Sunday afternoon. So not only is Biden say, I'm not going to run again,
Starting point is 00:46:42 but a little while later, and he did that on X. He didn't make a formal statement. You know, they put out a thing on X, which must make Yilan Maas very happy. And about 30 minutes after the initial statement, he goes out of another statement, President Biden does,
Starting point is 00:46:58 I want Kamala to be my replacement. Not a surprise. Not a surprise, all right? Because the money that the Democrats have raised about $250 million can't go to anybody but Kamala. And they need that money, not only for TV ads and radio ads, but they need to set up offices. They need to do a whole lot of stuff. So somebody coming in from the outside to challenge Kamala, that's not going to happen. Now, the media will tell you the exact opposite, but if you want to read, look, look,
Starting point is 00:47:33 Look, if you're still watching cable news for information, I feel sorry for you. If you're watching it for entertainment, all right, I understand. But if you're watching the network and the cable news on television for information, I'll get to that in a moment. So Biden says, I'm throwing my endorsement to Kamala. That's a smart move in the Democratic Party. They don't want to go to Chicago on August 19th. with an open convention. It'll be a disaster for them to do that.
