Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Thursday, when evaluating Donald Trump's second term, there is really only one fair measure. Is the president improving the country with his policies? Simple. Demeanor doesn't matter because 77 million American voters supported Mr. Trump's quest for a White House return.

Every single one of those people knew what they were voting for. At this point, the USA is gaining strength economically by most measures, but high prices remain. President is trying a number of things to bring that down, but nobody knows whether it will work or not. Food and insurance premiums are the big indicator there. Crime is down across the country, obviously that's a good thing. illegal immigration has largely stopped. Now it's a roundup, which is controversial.

Border security much stronger. Bad guys like Maduro and the Iranian mullahs have been confronted. Cuba may fall. Putin remains a serious problem. The Chinese seem to want some kind of daytime. In my opinion, that's a pretty strong record in 12 months, not perfect, but trending positive. for most Americans, even those who hate Donald Trump. However, hatred always overrides rational thought.
