Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, Bill O'Reilly, of course, number one television host for years, for decades. You can see his show every night. Just go to Bill O'Reilly.com. You can get his column there. His latest book, number one bestseller for weeks, killing the SS is absolutely riveting. And everybody's waiting for his new book on Donald Trump. This will be the Trump book because, first of all, nobody knows him better. President Trump is cooperating with the book.
Starting point is 00:00:25 It's going to be an amazing book. Again, Bill O'Reilly.com. You can pre-order the book on Amazon. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing? Good, Mark. Thanks for having me back. Well, write fast. I want to read this book. You know, I'm actually this morning, before I got on the line with you,
Starting point is 00:00:41 I'm writing about the Detroit debate, the 11th debate. And Trump is back now. He boycotted one in Iowa for Fox News, but he's back. and I'm just giving you the inside stuff. I think that's what people are really going to respond to because I was there, of course. That was the night he told me I needed a psychiatrist. Well, yeah, you asked him some tough questions after that debate. Always did.
Starting point is 00:01:09 But he was really teed off because earlier in the day, Mitt Romney had scorched him in Utah. And then I give you the inside stuff, why Romney did that and what the Republicans were trying to do, because at that point, Trump had the nomination pretty much locked up. So I'm just telling you all this, because the book is going to be something that I think, even if it will appeal to both people who like the president and who don't like him, because it's a history book, and it just shows how he accomplished what he did, which was in the top five, in my opinion, political stories of all time. Top five? I would say top two.
Starting point is 00:01:49 Well, only two people on Earth could have done what he did, Oprah Winfrey and him. Yeah, keep saying. Nobody else on the planet could have done it. But, you know, we have a lot of political stories like the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Yeah. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Those kinds of things would be more important than the Trump thing. But he isn't a top five.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Well, yeah, obviously, they're more important. But if you ever told somebody a total amateur will come out of nowhere, first time become president. And it is an amazing story. It goes all the way back to his grandfather. father in Germany. And you have to know the totality of the story to understand it. But it's a hard book to write because 90% of the stuff that is funneled to be by my researchers who are the best in the world is false.
Starting point is 00:02:39 It didn't happen or it's spun in a way that is just deceitful. So I have to do actually reporting on this book. And that's why it's a laborious effort. Well, your last book was a huge bestseller, and it's riveting. Everybody should get this book, Killing the SS. But there were already a thousand, 10,000 books on the whole thing. How do you manage to come up with this new stuff that nobody else had? Well, we were lucky there because the Israeli government allowed us a look at the Mossad files
Starting point is 00:03:06 that nobody had ever seen before about Eichmann and other Nazis that the, that Mossad had tracked. So we got, what I try to do in my books is get primary source material where nobody's ever heard it before. I got so much in a Trump book I mean, you know Trump for a long time Yeah You don't know any of this No And he doesn't like to talk about it by the way
Starting point is 00:03:29 He doesn't, he's not jumping up and down That this is coming out It's not necessarily negative About him Yeah But it's a perspective builder So you see Why he does what he does
Starting point is 00:03:43 How he operates and that kind of thing And people I don't know if they really want Everybody to know that much about him But since he's the most powerful man in the world I think I have to basically put it together. Now, this will be the first book where he's really involved. I know there's books where, you know, they come and they do an interview with him, but that's a total stranger and it's more of, you know, confrontational.
Starting point is 00:04:03 He's that involved to the extent that he's, you know, he called me a couple of weeks ago and wanted to know all about it, I wouldn't tell him anything. I, you know, I said, look, you know, somebody will read this to you when it comes out. He's, of course, not going to sit down and read a book. It's not what he does. But I said to him, it's not a hammer. It's absolutely fair.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Every page is fair. But he's not involved in the shaping of the book at all. I mean, I know him, and I have access to him in the past that was pretty explicit access, in the sense we talked about a lot of things that was on a record, and I can tell you. and then I did do an interview, as you know, on Air Force One with him. But he's not shaping the book in any way. Yeah. Well, write fast. We want to read this. All right. September 17th, it'll be out.
Starting point is 00:04:57 All right. Bill O'Reilly, Biden is finished. He doesn't have the verbal skills to talk his way through all of this, does he? I don't know about that. You know, I have my message of today on Bill O'Reilly.com that I hope everybody will just go and take a quick read. It's not a long message. but it's basically, this is the playbook, and this is what I want everybody to know, that the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, and this is the real story, there's a fissure
Starting point is 00:05:25 between Democrat working Americans and the progressive far-left that dominate the party right now and control immediate. It's a big fissure. I mean, they talk about never-Trumpers. never. Trump is a very small part of the Republican Party, maybe one, two percent. This, this Democratic fissure, this is huge. So the regular folks want Biden to run because they think he can beat Trump. And all the polls say that Biden's the toughest competitor for Donald Trump. But the progressives don't want him at all because he's not progressive. He might even
Starting point is 00:06:05 be a capitalist. Oh, you know, and he's not going to. throw all of these bombs into the system where the progressives want to break down the American system totally. So they don't want Biden. So how do you get them out? Well, here come
Starting point is 00:06:24 to me too, say, hey, oh, oh, well, he did this, he did that, he did this, he did that. Because they know you can't defend yourself against it. And this is the playbook. Whoever you want to destroy, here it is. Let's bring it on in. And
Starting point is 00:06:40 People really should know this because there's not a man in the country safe. I mean, look at this New York, Nick, this poor Singus. Yeah. All of a sudden, out of nowhere. And now the whole case is falling apart against this guy. But he had to endure three days of he raped somebody. I mean, you know, it's really, I'm looking at it and I'm going, I don't know how you stop it, but it's now hurting every part of,
Starting point is 00:07:10 this country. Yeah. Hey, the big chunk of the Democratic voters was the blue collar of factory workers, industrial states, middle of them, but Trump managed to take that away and bring them over the republic. But is that what opened up the vacuum that the progressive, crazy socialist Democrats could take over the party? I think it was more the media.
Starting point is 00:07:31 I think when the New York Times and a Washington Post hired their respective editors, and these guys are fanatical for the president. left people. I think that that opened the door for the extremism that we're seeing, because the network news takes its cue from those two papers. What they do,
Starting point is 00:07:52 the network news imitates. And then once these editors got in, and then they hired their sub-editors in their own image. Yeah. Okay? Then it started to snowball that global warming is mainstream now. Collimbing is mainstream. So we
Starting point is 00:08:08 have to change the whole government. and our whole lifestyle in America to combat climate change. We have to. There's no debate. It has to be done. Okay? Capitalism is income inequality,
Starting point is 00:08:23 so we can't have capitalism anymore. The government really has to control the economy because if it doesn't, they're going to have billionaires like Soros and these guys, even though Soros is working against himself, you're going to have Mike Bloomberg and all of these guys, they're going to have billions, and then nobody else going to have anything, so the government has to do it. Once these big, powerful media agencies bought into that, that's when it started to grow.
Starting point is 00:08:52 And now it's totally out of control. Talk about a Frankenstein's monster. Now you've got an Ocasio-Cortez who doesn't know anything running around saying, hey, we don't want you on an airplane. Oh, no. Those airplanes, they've got to go. If you're looking at her going, this is – and everybody knows. it's insane, but unless the media covers it fairly and brings perspective, these people are going to be, are allowed to run wild. And they are.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Hey, we'll look at about a minute left. Bill O'Reilly. You can go to Bill O'Reilly.com. You can get everything there, bill O'Reilly.com. What do you got for, on TV tonight? Well, we're doing the, the border, which is now disintegrating, disintegrating under the weight of hundreds of thousands of migrants getting in here and then saying, I want to say, I want to on asylum, and the NYSERD court appeals to California says, yeah, you got to give every one of them a hearing. Well, you know what that's going to be, and then they don't have anywhere to put them, so they release them. So hundreds of thousands of people, foreign nationals are going to be here in the next few months, and the government sits in Washington
Starting point is 00:09:58 does nothing. How about a little congestion pricing on the border, maybe? Yeah, that's right, a little congestion pricing, you know, and, well, we'll get into that next week about what that's all about in New York State. There's, there's an agenda behind that that people don't know. Yeah, we'll definitely get to that next week. But be watching tonight. Just go to Bill O'Reilly.com. You watch the TV show.
Starting point is 00:10:17 You can get the columns. You can get the books, message of the day. Bill O'Reilly.com. And follow Bill O'Reilly on Twitter. Hey, very good on Instagram. I like the pictures. Thank you. I was with Joe Namath a couple of days ago.
Starting point is 00:10:30 He's the greatest guy, boy. His charity is helping these NFL players who are battered, and I hope everybody checks out Joe Namath. com. Yeah. And just go to Bill O'Reilly. com. Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being with us. Hey, Mark. Always a pleasure. Thank you.
