Bill O'Reilly here. and I'm warming up. Standby for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Thursday, Colorado residents are in serious trouble, and it's their own fault. Totalitarianism is descending on the Rocky Mountain state because radical leftists are being elected to high positions. Soon, Colorado will mirror California. When I live there in the late 1970s, Colorado was essentially a traditional state that fostered individualism. Yet, Yes, radicals dominated Boulder and Aspen, but the culture was not affected by the extremists. Now, they rule.

The latest outrage is a series of proposed new laws that gut parental authority and spit in the face of religious freedom. The legislature in Denver wants all Colorans to fund abortions, as well as gender-changing surgery. Even worse, a law would allow children to undergo sex change procedures without permission from their parents. The state again picking up any tabs. The federal Hyde Amendment forbids Washington from using tax dollars for abortions. However, Colorado seeks to override Hyde.

That's illegal, of course, but the totalitarians are trying. The gender minor thing is simply unbelievable. The state will dictate a child's upbringing, not the parents? Mazay-Zung would love this. The leftist governor, Jared Polis, will probably sign the legislation. Then the litigation will begin.
